“So no tour of the usual tourist attractions for you,” Laures concluded when Eve said that she got bored by the things most other people like. It wasn´t really a problem since there were many other places to go. Numerous clubs beside his that were worth a visit and quite some more safe places to go when one wanted to shift. Though there were only a few places that were also suited for hunting. Unless one wanted to hunt humans, of course. Those were everywhere, but Laures had no interest in human flesh. At least not for eating.
“You just want to see my inner kitty,” he teased with a slight smirk. “But all right, I was getting a little restless anyway.” He was quite glad for an opportunity to let his lion out for a little run through the forest. Or maybe even a hunt. He did go by himself sometimes if he got too restless to properly focus on his work; any task for that matter. But usually he preferred company due to his personality and his animal, since lions are rather social animals by nature.
His club was located more or less in the outskirts rather than in the centre of the city, so it wasn´t a long walk. “If you´re curious about anything, ask and I´ll do my best to answer as honestly as possible,” he told Eve while they walked through the alleys, taking shortcuts, since he knew his way around here. It didn´t take them long to the outskirts of the city where there were mostly warehouses, quite a few of them abandoned. “There are woods up ahead. But there´s hardly ever anyone around here, so I usually shift here,” Laures told Eve after stopping and sniffing the air. He couldn´t detect any fresh scent of humans or were-animals.
