The Smell Of Food

[Samael]

"So what? There is nothing I want to do, go do what ever you want to do Raspberry."

He sat there and then appeared on the couch close to her but not touching. While he picked up the changer and the TV came to life once again. Turning it to the scifi channel to watch the "Amity Ville Horror" movie. Watching it as it was just coming on and they were of course coming into the house. Samael was once again treating her more like an equal then a person below him but then he remembered that she did have something to do. A few chores around the house.

"It would make me happy if you put all the clothes in the washer and started it. I will put them in the dryer and fold them when there done. Then it would be nice if you cleaned your room. You got a lot of wood chippings on the floor and it would be mighty horrible of you got splinters in your foot. There bloody hard to get out once they get in."

He was telling the truth he hated splinters. He remembered when he was a little kid that he got one in his foot a big one. His father had to take a knife and cut it out and that was not very plesant at all. Lucky him he was a vampire and all it took was a bout of blood to heal the wound and make it all better for the most part. Even though he remembered it being rather painful.

Raspberry got up leaving her blanket where it laid on the couch and went to get the washing machine started. After that was done she began to sort the clothes by colors. After she noticed there was very little she just grabbed the whole pile and stuffed them in the washer and shut the lid after putting soap in.

Splinters. She laughed at them. Somehow she always managed to miss stepping on them while she watched others get them stuck in their feet. She sweeped them up with the broom and put them in the trash bin. She looked around her room to see if there was anything else that needed to be cleaned up, but she didn't see anything, but her broken down bed and the dressers. At least she could see the carpet and nothing was on the floor.

She lied down on the floor and stared at the ceiling wondering what she should do besides sit here doing nothing. It always felt boring just sitting there at times, but it passed the time. Most of time anyways. She was also wondering if Samael would take her out tonight after he said that would the night before. She hoped not. She didn't think she could stand being out twice in a week or more. She's a party person like Samael, but she'd go without complaint to make him happy. Just as long as he didn't give her something that would make her start coughing up a storm.

Now that she was done with the cleaning of her room he had appeared at he door way, walking over to her broken bed he lifted the bed up with one hand and put it against the wall. Taking the wooden parts and putting them outside the door. Then putting her bed back in place with all the sheets back and tucked into place. Taking the wooden frame he took them into the living room and threw it into the large flame. Returning back to her room and leaning against the frame of the door.

"Do you know how to swim Raspberry? We could go swimming, or we could rest in the hot tub. You do know we have a hot tub right?"

The hot tub was currently turned off and there was clean water in it ready to go at any time, and the pool was currently turned off also. Although the pool was heated the hot tub was of course hot. Steam would be coming off of it and the jets would be coming out of it onto the backs of who ever laid in it. Samael still in nothing but his boxers really didn't care. This was his house, he owned everything here pretty much and he could walk around butt naked if he wished it.

Raspberry watched as Samael moved the wooden pieces out of her room and into the fireplace, but she continued to lie there until he came back.

"No. I don't know how to swim. My parents never thought it to be nessacary. And what's a hot tub?"

She was never given any of this luxeries growing up. She didn't know how to swim and she didn't even know what a hot tub was. Her life was sad and pathetic. At least she thought it was anyways or rather her father. Her father thought a lot of cruel things to do to his daughters. And some of those things weren't pretty. Yet Raspberry tried to keep those thought buried in the depths of her mind to never remember them again.

She sat up and stared at Samael for no given cause. She didn't even have a swimsuit unless Samael had one stored away for her somewhere like he had everything else stored away to be given at a certain time.

[Samael]

From behind his back he pulled out a small gift. It was of course some more clothes and it was a swim suit. A two piece one which would fit her body perfectly. He walked over to her and placed it right into her lap. Once she opened it she would see a two piece pink swim suit. Once again pink cause he knew she liked it from the color of her hair. His hand was extended to help her up once she was ready to get up, him knowing she could put the swim suit on once they got to the pull.

"A hot tub is a small pool big enough for four-six people. There is certain parts you sit in and these water jets message your leg muscles, and back and such. And as suggested it is hot water sort of like a bath but better."

He told her simply with a small smile on her face. Once again he was working his way to her good side. Giving her gifts, telling her what she needed to know and introducing her to the luxeries in life. Oh what he wouldn't do for her to love him back. He liked her, he loved her, and he cared for her. What ever she needed he knew he would get for her in a moments notice if she wanted it. Well he would almost get her anything in a moments notice if she really needed it.

"Wait. So there are bubbles in a hot tube?"

Raspberry was curious though. She had never been around a hot tub before to know anything about it. She never got such treats from her parents. All she got was more chores and to help out in the fields. She looked down at the box Samael had given her and she opened it to see more clothes and a two piece swim suit.

She took his hand that he had given out to pull her up off the ground. Now she somewhat wanted to try out this hot tub thing. She had dropped the box on the floor as she stood up, but she was still holding on to the swim suit. Sure she was enjoying these gifts. They felt like a million christmases every day. She had never really celebrated Christmas. Her parents thought they didn't need one for being so naughty. Which was a complete lie.

[Samael]

"A hot tub could have bubbles in it if you really wanted it too."

He chuckled to her as she let the box fall to the ground. Taking her by the hand he walked down the hall way with her and into the room which contained the pool and hot tub. Turning the hot tub on. The jets coming to life and the water heating up to a good degree. Taking her over to the hot tub he pointed down with a smile on his face. Letting go of her hand and just letting his feet rest in the water. Samael knowing he would just slip in with his boxers on, also knowing he had to wait for her to get her swim suit on.

"Go get your swim suit on so you can jump in. You are gonna like it, its all hot, and relaxing. Then after we spend a little time in here losening up, I will take you over to the heated pool and teach you hot to swim ok?"

His voice was gentle and like velvet to the ears. Pointing over there a few feet away as he would keep his face locked on the water before him. While she stripped from her Pj's that she had put on and slipped into her two piece pink swim suit for her to wear. So she could come enjoy some time with him in this wonderful hot tub. A luxury that not every one had but if they did have one they used it quite often. Maybe she would really like it and they both could enjoy it together more often?

Following Samael to where the hot tub was located seem alright. Though when she saw the hot tub she didn't think it would be so small. She thought it would be like the same size as a swimming pool or whatever. Not something so teeny tiny.

"Okay. That sounds fine."

She walked over some distance and quickly stripped down and put the swim suit on. Walking back over to the hot tub she put her hand in the water to feel the water. It did feel kind of relaxing just having her hand in the water. She then started to get in it ever so graceful not wanting to splash Samael as she got in.

Now this did feel comfortable just sitting here. Maybe she would like it here when she had nothing better to do with her spare time besides sleeping and breaking objects around the house. She then started to splash Samael laughing as she did so trying to have a bit of fun.

[Samael]

Once she was dressed in her two piece his head had turned back to watch her walk over. Bending down and placing a single hand down in the water and he looked at the relaxed expression on her face. While she got into the water and laid down in one of the areas looking relaxed. Then she splashed him and he turned his head as the water made contact with him. Smiling at her as he started to speak.

"He he, you got me! But I am gonna get you!"

Taking his hand and opening up something that was in the tile. He pulled it up and there was little pool toys. Little squirt guns, frisbys, and the such. He filled the little hand held squirt gun with water and started to squirt it at her chest and face. A small smile on his face as he got one of the water bombs and filled it with water. Throwing it over to her side of the hot tub as he slid himself in. There play battle was just beginning as he continued to squirt her with the little toy gun, refilling it quickly and continuing the unslaught of water massacre!
