Strawberry nodded her head as best as she could once for yes. She tried not to contemplate what exactly she would look like nodding her head as a swan. She had to give Shou much props for not bursting out laughing. But the situation was quite funny. It wasn't very often when you saw a wild animal, even a swan. Which brought a question to the tip of her mind. Was she contagious? The only reason she got turned is because she got scratched by a swan underneath the full moon. She could just imagine some young child trying to pet her as Shou walked with her on his foot. She jumped off his foot, did she contaminate him? And then just as quickly as the idea had come, it faded, he was already a were wolf. She didn't think a person could be two were's.
Strawberry turned around into a circle trying to figure out what to do, how to say things. She was never very good at word games, especially pyramid. She always got tongue tied at the game whenever she had to give the description so her sister could guess the word. She flapped both her white long wings as if trying to shrug. How was one supposed to tell someone anything in animal form? And she didn't know what to say either. Hide? What could Strawberry do? Draw blood and then try to say that a vampire was after her? She hid under her wings trying to show that she needed to hide. If only she hadn't shifted out of fear.

Shou watched her closely so he could try to figure out what she was trying to tell him. The nodding part wasn´t hard to understand. It did look kind of strange, but he figured that it wasn´t too strange or unnatural so it probably wouldn´t draw any additional attention to them. Well, not more than they would attract by just showing up somewhere. The shrugging part was a bit more difficult since it looked quite different from the human shrug; for obvious reasons. After a few moments of wondering, he did understand however, that she had just about as much of a idea what to do as he did… or rather lack of an idea. “So… we should come up with something…” he said after a few more moments. It would be quite a challenge, since they couldn´t just discuss things like they could have done if they were both in human form. On the other hand, it was still easier than it would be if they had both shifted.
“Find somewhere with a roof?” Shou asked, not exactly sure of what she was trying to tell him. She was hiding… hm but it could be hiding but also with the wings covering her it could be a place to go. “Do you want to just go somewhere where you can wait, away from people, until you can shift back?” he asked, a bit unsure and it was evident in his voice too, that he wasn´t all that sure that he understood her. “Uh… so not the park…?” he had briefly considered that maybe she would be least noticeably if they went to a pond in the park or something similar. But if she would rather find a different place, he would help her find it… once he understood what they were looking for. Which could actually take some time.

Strawberry gave out a soft honk which was the equivalent to a human sigh. This would be a million times easier if she could speak, and if she wasn't a swan. She only transformed because Shou happened to mention fear and she was incredibly fearful. Her twin sister was probably being tortured by that ugly vampire because she left. And the only reason Strawberry herself hadn't gone back was because of more fear and a bit of self-preservation. She could only hope that she would see her sister again, in this world, and that Samael hadn't punished Raspberry for her crime.
Somewhere with a roof? That sounded like a good idea. Strawberry bobbed her head up and down, nodding. It was close enough. It would provide safety. She knew so little about vampires but she knew she would feel safer indoors, some place where Samael couldn't find her. Away from people until she shifted back? Strawberry nodded her head again. Why did she have to be a coward? This was all Shou's fault! People were unaware of things until they were told them and then they panicked. Like you are basically unaware of your breathing as it is a natural pattern, but you stop to think about it and then you realize that you're counting and following along with your breathing as if you're forcing it. She may have never shifted if Shou hadn't mentioned the pressure thing. Park? Strawberry bobbed her head in a no format, squawking and waving her wings no! That would be one of the first places Samael would look for her! How did you say Building in Swan language or sign language?

“All right, all right, I get it… no park,” Shou said, eying the swan cautiously. “Don´t hit me… it was just a suggestion,” he added, still speaking in the same soft tone. It was really hard to communicate this way and he was slowly but surely getting nervous again and that wouldn´t be good since it was hard to think clearly then. Running a hand through his hair, he briefly closed his eyes and sighed. Best thing right now seemed to just take her to one of the empty warehouses or abandoned buildings and wait for her to change back. Looked like he could forget finding a bite to eat for probably a few more hours. Ah well… he was used to it anyway so it didn´t matter much.
Shou considered the possibility of telepathic conversation for a moment. Other werewolves had sometimes spoken to him telepathically; but at that time both him and the others had been in their beast forms and they were of the same species. He wondered if it would even work with a wolf and a swan… Shaking his head slightly, he dismissed the idea. He wasn´t sure it would work and shifting here would be just plain stupid. A swan that wandered away from the park was one thing; a bit strange in the middle of the city, but not that unlikely. A wolf stalking through the streets was something quite different. Chewing at his bottom lip, Shou looked back down at the swan and nodded slightly to himself more than to her. “Yes… best we go to one of the warehouses. There we can hide and just… wait,” he said quietly to her, waiting for her approval or complaint on the idea. At the same he was already wondering how fast she could walk and if it would look very strange if he just carried her instead.

Strawberry felt a look of relief wash over her swan face. She was safe, at least for now. The park was the one place she didn't want to be, it was where she had met Samael for the first time with her sister. Or to be more exact, where her sister had met Samael, the vampire. She cocked her head to stare blandly at Shou. Why would she hit him with her wings? He looked scared.... Why should a wolf be scared? If she were something giant and big she would never be scared. And then realization spun over her. She had met children who were runaways before, most had been abused, few had just left because they wanted attention. Had Shou been abused, beaten? She tried to comfort him with her eyes. She had this strange feeling that if she tried to hug him with her wings he would jump. Strawberry never liked to see the hurt in other people's eyes, which was why she tried so hard to make her sister happy.
She nodded her head for a yes. She had been planning on actually hiding out in a warehouse in the first place. Only her idea had been to get a bunch of food to hold her up and maybe a few magazines. But she could do with out the food or entertainment, she didn't deserve either. What she needed to do though was to give Shou money for helping her out. If he would even take money. The new people on the streets were a bit prideful and the older people, they were greedy. Strawberry had learned quickly to accept what hand outs were offered. She kept her neck down as if she could look as invisible as possible that way. The last thing she needed was to draw attention to themselves. Did Samael have spies?

When she nodded her agreement, Shou glanced around briefly once more, before he slowly headed back into the direction of the warehouses. It would probably take them some time to get there, but he was quite willing to take a few back streets and take maybe ten minutes more than to use the main streets and get stared at or maybe even get picked on by someone. Besides, he wasn´t sure how strong were-swans were so he wanted to avoid anyone taking too much interest in the woman. After all, he wasn´t exactly capable of protecting her since he was unwilling to use force… or rather too afraid to even try. Sighing, he readjusted her belongings that he was carrying, since some of the things had started to slip and he didn´t want to loose anything important. Also he tried to get as little of the dust and dirt from his clothes on her nice, clean clothes since she probably wouldn´t be too happy about that.
While walking, the werewolf kept glancing at the swan, to see if she could keep up with his pace. “It´s still some distance away… do you need me to carry you?” he asked softly after some time, since it looked like walking wasn´t all that easy for a swan. When he was in his beast form he could run faster, but unlike her, he could run on four legs instead of two then. Carrying her would hardly present a problem, since with his strength he could actually carry much heavier things without much effort. Though it wouldn´t exactly do much to calm his nerves but being around other people always had that effect on him anyway. So far she had proven to be one of the nicest people he had met in a long time; but there was still the deep rooted fear that refused to let itself be pushed aside completely.
