Once he seemed to be ready, Reina focused on Frosty. That barrier he had up was pretty good. For now, she prodded around the shield, looking at the flaws, the strengths. Then, a smile spread across her lips, "You've got a gaping hole, Frosty. Any ancient can destroy it...like this." The barrier was suddenly shattered and Reina invaded Frosty's mind. A few memories of his flooded into her before she forced herself back. "Sorry but I had to expose you to that. Most vampires don't fight this way anymore but some will. I learned that the hard way and nearly was broken because of it."
Reina placed her hands on her knees, "Alright. You have a few days to practice keeping that up. Eventually it will become habit and you can switch it on in the blink of an eye. Right now I want you to try and invade my mind, force out some memories or thoughts. It will be difficult but I'm certain you can find a weakness somewhere." Reina bowed her head, her body relaxing. Barrier was set up and ready for whatever Frosty had to throw at her. Or so she believed.

This was going to be tricky but whatever, he had his sheild beaten down but he figured it would've happened. Now it was his turn. He entered her mind and there it was a big ass fortress like wall. "No... way... you want me to break through that?" He said he decided fuck it and looked all around it, not a thing, not a crack, hole, seam. Damn this was going to be tricky.
Screw it. Go ahead on, It was then he saw a small crack that was it. He attacked the crack got through somewhat, not alot but some he saw some some memories of hers but not alot. "Did it work?" he asked, it was a stupid question but c'mon he was a freaken' noob at being a vampire.

Reina did not expect him to find a weakness in her shield. Surely she had mastered it by now! When he suddenly attacked her, shattering the barrier, the vampiress was taken aback. Back she went from her sitting position, hands pressed into her temples, "Aw, fuck! Fuck that hurt." How on earth did he manage...? Well...there were some weak spots...
"Y...Yeah you got it, Frosty. Good job. Most people can't even dent it when they first try. You're pretty unique though I don't know how the hell I got such a splitting headache as a result." One eye remained closed as she rubbed her right temple, "I think we should see Master Kang about this. Something tells me your a tad different from most vampires out there."
She motioned towards the door and stood up to snatch her coat. It was slightly chilly outside tonight.

"What do you mean by that? A tad different?" he asked with a perplexed look upon his face. He stood up and grabbed his hoodie and put it on. Hw as seriously curious what she ment by Tad different, Did it have to do something with what Vicious had called him that one night? He walked over towards the door and opened it stepping outside. "Methusela..." He mumbled as he shook his head.
He'd find out later on after he met that Grand Master Fang guy. He sounded like an expert in Tae Kwon Do so it would be a honor to meet him. He was rather excited but he kept that on the down low. He took a deep breath in and relaxed and the world around him became a much more quiter place, like back when he was a human. He smiled widely proud of himself as he waited for Reina.

Reina had to go upstairs to snatch her shoes and ended up hopping down the flight, trying to pull a boot on. With it now on, she snatched up her black hoodie and pulled it up, "By a tad different I mean that what you did earlier was unusual. I'm thinking you might be a rare race of vampire that Master Kang was talking about. He is one too I believe...a...er...I forgot the name but we'll find out when we get there."
After walking outside, she locked the house and snatched up another set from her pocket. One might expect they were going to walk to a car but instead? There was a motorcycle in the small garage she had next to the house. "Pardon the fact it's dirty. I didn't have time to clean it but she's got quite a punch. Hop on." She got on the cycle and handed Frosty a helmet before putting hers on.
After firing it up, she took off down the road and took a right at the end of the street. The dojang is only a few minutes away. We'll be there in no time. A few streetlights later and they arrived at a small building. Helmet was pulled off and she approached the front door, opened it and walked inside.
"Come on, Frosty."

Frosty nodded taking off his helmet. As soon as they walked in he slipped off his boots. He was used to the way it was in dojangs, after all he was a second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He looked around getting an odd yet at the same time familiar presence about the place and the aura that was coming from the back room. "This place... It's pretty big..." He said looking around as he stepped on the dojang floor and bowed.
He hadn't felt a training matt under his feet since he was sixteen, when he got his Second dan. in Tae Kwon Do and continued training on his own. He watched as Reina went to go find Grand Master Fang and he kneeled down sitting on his knees and closed his eyes and began meditating. He had his head bowed as he did it. As to not show disrespect for the man's Dojang.

Reina entered the dojang, after removing her boots and coat, and immediately went straight for a rack with staffs. After choosing one of her height, she headed towards the middle of the room and just stood there. Now what on earth was the female doing? Then, if one were to look up at the ceiling they would see a shadow of a tall figure. Despite knowing that someone was near, she remained where she was...waiting.
Then, down a male went with a staff in his hands. Reina spun around and raised her's, blocking the attack. "I was expecting you, master." She grinned, arms shaking slightly from holding up his weapon.
"You've gotten better, Reina but you let your guard down too soon," he swept his staff under her feet but, surprisingly enough, she leapt up and tried to strike for his right arm but a side block kept her at bay, "Impressive, you're getting better at anticipation my next move. So now what, my pupil, shall us two immortals be locked in a battle until judgment days?"
Reina allowed a coy smile to appear on her face, "Or you could just surrender and we can be done."
"Wishful thinking." WHAM! He used the end of his staff and struck Reina in the abdomen, sending her flying back.
"You've been watching Pirates again, haven't you?" she moaned, hand clutching her bruised belly.
"Watched all three last night. Now stand. I'll attend to your guest after we finish this round."
Reina stood and held her staff up, bowing to her master. He did the same. Both assumed attack stances, "Prepare yourself. I'm not going easy this time around."
"Bring it!"
Both charged at once, staffs collided. Reina's staff broke from the collision but rather than giving up, she held the two pieces and spun, managing to strike her master on the arm with the edge. He aimed for Reina's head but she moved out of the way, just in time. They swiped, blocked, ducked, every move you can think of that was humanely possible.
For a good ten minutes the two fought until it came to an end. "I would draw this out longer but it seems you brought your friend here for an important reason." He casually tossed the staff aside and approached Frosty, extending his hand, "Master Kang. You're Frosty I assume?"
"AW FUCK! STUPID PIECES OF WOOD!" Reina hopped around while trying to get a large splinter out of the bottom of her foot.

Frosty stood up immediately in attention stance and bowed as he shook the man's hand. "Yes sir." he stated, it was weird. He hadn't trained or seen a grand master in nearly three years but he still acted to respectful infront of one. Guess you can't really get rid of bad habbits... he looked up at Master Fang. "Nice to meet you... You show extrodinary skill and you did it using Jang bong E movements. I guess that's why they call you a Grand Master huh?" He said chuckling a bit and then scratching the back of his head.
Relising his hair was down he shook his head, "My appologies, where are my manners." He said as he pulled a hair tie out of his pocket and turned away from the Grand Master and pulled his hair back into a pony tail. "I'm not used to being in this type of envoirment, I mean I used to be at the Yung Ho Tae Kwon Do Dojang I used to go to when I lived in Tampa but I..." He stopped himself as he noticed he was rambling on. "Sorry... Didn't mean to ramble on... I'm just very... Enthuseastic about Martial arts. I'm a second dan black belt in Tae Kwon Do and I've been training in martial arts for nine years But I know that all means nothing when it's compaired to skill such as yours." He said giving a quick bow.

Master Kang merely chuckled at Frosty, "Don't worry, young one. Respect is not needed unless I'm teaching a class. You can address me like any other human being...or vampire. However you wish. Mr. Kang will do for now." He returned the bow before resuming, "I can tell just by looking at you that you're different from your average vampire, Frosty. Your kind is rare...very rare...is there something you wished to tell me, Reina?"
"Well...earlier I was teaching him how to shield his mind and break a mind barrier and...when he broke mine I got a splitting headache. Is that a bad thing?" Reina finally got the splinter out and chucked it aside. Her expression changed to worry when she saw the look on her master's face, "Sir?"
"Reina? I forbid you from having him do that again. You understand me?"
"Yes sir but...why?"
"I mean it when I say his kind is rare. Not only is he capable of shattering a shield around one's mind, he can also destroy it. It doesn't take much to do such a thing...you're lucky you managed to escape with a minor headache."
Reina nodded at him, "Yes, sir."

"Rare... kind..." Frosty mumbled to himself as Kang was scolding Reina. "Mr. Kang sir... What do you know about... Methuselans...?" he asked looking up at the Grand master "I remember alot of Vampires calling me that when I was a human after they smelled my blood. Well the old Vampires anyways..." His saphire eyes looked at Grand Master Kang with determination.
He wanted to know, Too long was he always kept in the dark, his grandmother was probably a Methusela. Or maybe she was just a normal vampire. Who knew he just knew he wanted anwsers. Especially if it pertained to him or was about him. He hated secrets about him especially stuff that could seriously screw with him in the long run.

Master Kang stroked his chin, sinking deep into thought after Frosty made his request. Slowly, the male took a seat and beckoned for the other two to do the same. Silence settled in the dojang as Reina and Frosty looked at him, waiting for answers. Finally, they came. Eyes opened and he began, "It started a long time ago. During the time when vampires were first born. The birth of vampires was over five thousand years ago." He hunched forward slightly, trying to recall what he was taught, "The first vampire was born in a hostile environment where light never touched the earth and heat was hard to find. Yes. Vampires originated from caves before venturing forth to the outside world."
Kang folded his arms, "In the darkness, these beings developed a taste for blood but penetrating the flesh of their prey was difficult. Natural selection took place, picking out those who had sharper teeth. Over generations, they grew canines yet, for some ungodly reason, they become like mythological creatures. Their appearances were alluring but all they desired was blood. Nothing more. A fight broke out between clans and one was forced into exile. That's when they first came into contact with humans...during the middle ages."
Reina leaned forward, eager to hear more about this. Her master never told her about such things! This was really getting interesting.
"They began feasting on humans but then they discovered something while doing so...if humans drank their blood...they became one of them...but the process took days, even weeks. What gave vampires their ungodly powers was an exorcism gone wrong. A priest thought they were demons but somehow, someway, their plans backfired and vampires obtained what we have today other than strength and heightened senses. Genetics not from this earth were introduced just from using exorcism in a wrong manner. That is how vampires came into being...but I know some information is missing considering how long ago that was...then your kind came into existence and oddly enough? It was like a Romeo and Juliet since it ended tragically.
A human and a vampire fell in love but not just any vampire. It was the one who had the exorcism done. His powers were passed onto the child and he ended up breeding with other vampires. As a result...the Methusala was born. They are stronger than any average vampire but adjusting to their power is difficult. Vampire and vampire cross out a few genetics. Human and demi-god vampire? No."
"That's about all I know but I'm certain there's more information elsewhere."

"So what you are syaing sir... is that I'm a cross breed between a human and a vampire?" he asked, in confusion. "But if thats the case then... How come I wasn't born with vampiric abilities and stuff? How come I was born a human and had to be turned? And How come..." He stopped looking down at the mat. "I'm sorry... I've... just been kept in the dark all these years..." He said stating his apologies as his gaze of Saphire stayed at the mat.
Frosty was shocked, no matter what he did, no matter what he found out. It didn't matter there was always another question to be asked that just ate away at him. He hated that part of him that always seeked knowledge. Always seeked anwsers... It always annoyed him so much. He had gotten into martial arts as a way to better understand the world around himself and ended up becoming enveloped in everything. So many questions that would drive a normal person insane.

Reina gave her newly found a friend a concerned look and reached over, resting her hand on his shoulder, "I think I may know the answer to that one. The genetics were passed down onto you, but, one thing was missing to activate them: vampire blood. When you were fed vampiric blood, they were awakened..." She gave his shoulder a slight squeeze, her way of saying "You're gonna be alright" and placed it back on the mat.
"Excellent. Couldn't have said it better myself, Reina. Though...I will say that you being here isn't safe Frosty. Just about anyone will want you as an ally...like the Pureblooded Killer and The Blood Countess. I believe that we should head towards the monastery in China."
"WAIT A MINUTE! Master! That is a communist country! It's not safe! Not to mention the nightwalkers there are unruly!"
"Yes...I know. But we must got there within a few months and start training him, and yourself, right away. I sense dark times rolling in...besides. There is someone there I believe you should meet. You'll learn a few things about one of your enemies if you go there. I will not say anything else. Think about my proposition and give me an answer within five days or less."

Frosty nodded, "Yes sir... I understand... Wait? China? How are we going to get there?" he asked with a perplexed look on his face. "I thought vampires can't cross running water... or is that a myth just like being reflectionless in the mirror?" he asked joking a bit. He was getting used to his fangs already just after thee days. and after two he had already been able to build up a small wall to keep out the world's voices.
Frosty stood up and extended his hand towards Grand Master Kang. "it... was a pleasure meeting you sir. Any advice in the mean time of this five day waiting period?" He asked, he was somewhat syced about going but at the same time hesitant and a bit unwilling. What if something bad happened. He shook his head slightly, Screw it. China was near South Korea... He could visit an old friend's Grave while he was over there.

"Vampires can cross over water easily and the way we would get there is via airplane. We can arrive there in the evening. As long as we request sitting in a separate area from the sun, which is possible, we'll be fine. I've done this many times." Kang smiled and shook Frosty's hand, "I've been alive for more than a millennium; I think of everything. I suggest you two get home and get to know one another. If we're gonna do this, we better get along...right?" Kang tossed a playful wink at Reina, causing her to purse her lips in annoyance.
Master? Don't even get started. There's nothing going on between us. Besides, we just met yesterday.
Nothing going on...yet.
Color flushed to Reina's face. "MASTER!"
Kang laughed, "I can't help but tease you, Reina. Like I said...give me your answer within five days. Take care you two...and Frosty? I suggest you learn how to control your other senses from sight to smell. It's possible to tone it down. Reina can teach you that."
Reina folded her arms and narrowed her eyes. "Sure. Whatever."
