They could not wander into traffic. In Cambridge, traffic is a very minor issue. Half of it's pedestrianised and the other half gridlocked.
And no, it wasn't me. I'm not at Gonville and Caius (other side of town... bleh... too long a walk to be worth it) and in any case wouldn't fancy climbing up that high. Good idea, whoever did do it, though.
