Nice choice. Conan-Doyle is awesome... no other fictional detective could hold his own against Holmes. Poirot would run away crying into his silly moustache and Miss Marple would need to be carried away to be roused with smelling salts!
Ahem.
I am reading Cicero's Pro Archia Poeta Oratio. In Latin, this time. Also "idoru" by William Gibson.

I've been meaning to read a touch of Holmes for a while now, and The Hound is one of his most renowned works relating to the great fictional detective. His stabbing of Shilling Shockers and Dime Novels is truly superb. Anyway . . . before I get carried away, again *vanishes*

I can't say that I've heard of it, so I cannot comment on its interestingness.

Having neglected some reading time, I've now reverted to my old ways and have taken up Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, as well as The Liar by the wonderful Mister Fry.
