Once inside, he looks to her some as she took his hand, he allowed her to lead him to a table before taking a seat after she did. He hmms, rubbing his chin as he listened to her ask that question.
"I was born around the very late 1700s, I should be 210 in February" He never always kept track of how old he was, but he was getting old, another reason for seeking a wife. He simply picked up a menu and peered through it, he knew to Never ask a woman how old she was, no one in their right mind would.

Her eyes widdened, he was much older than she had anticipated, he was over 200. With a small smile she bit her lower lip, it was no real matter to her. She looked over to the bar for a moment, the drinks were tempting she debated if she should get up and order something. A bit of straight vodka was sounding good, and from what Jack had said earlier he might like some also.
"Wow 210?" She turned back to look at him. "You must have seen alot. I am only 85, born in the late 20's." She giggled.

"Yeah... I've seen a whole lot of crazy shit over the years... fighting in WWI and II were times of interest to me, but they weren't pretty either way... Stopped serving because they have been keeping track of their recruits electronically..." he shook his head, "Another reason I despise computers..." he mumbled.
He eyed the straight vodka or bourbon, maybe some Jack Daniels perhaps, he didn't mind either, he just wanted a drink, a perfect way to start the night.

With a smile she nodded, her brother never served in WWII, he was an immirgrant so he was never drafted. She was always thankful for that. To see her brother leave to fight, with the possibility of her never seeing him again would break her heart. She would never want to see him changed by war either, she knew full well that war made a man different than he was before. The things seen would twist his soul, tormenting him for the rest of his life.
"I was always glad my brother never had to serve." She confessed looking down at her hands. "I don't think me or my mother could have watched him leave. It would have broken both of our hearts." She looked back up at him with honest eyes. She never liked the idea of armies, but she knew they were a necessary evil.
"Can I get you something to drink?" Danika asked, leaning across the table slightly a playful smirk on her face.

War was a natural occurrence amoungst humans, Humans could be real fighters, having seen war since the dawn of time. It was something people could not live with as they could without it. Someone is always bound to spark the first blow, lest the other be destroyed, the other must fight, or even destroy the adversary if necessary, He simply fought because he loved this country, however, he had a number of reasons he didn't fight in these newer wars, as much as it had angered him to not be able to fight, he was a great soldier, he followed orders, but if ordered to kill the innocent in the crossfire, he simply tries to look for another way to the enemy without harming innocent civilians.
"Both world wars really nasty... Going toe to toe with Wehrmacht soldiers ended really badly if you didn't react fast enough... Those bastards fought as dirty as they smelled" He said with a sigh, maybe it was a good thing her brother did not sign up, Not that he considered her brother weak in any way, It was just very nasty on the missions he had been on.
"I guess I'll have some vodka, haven't had straight vodka in so long... You'd be surprised really" he said as he had set the menu back down on the table, hands folded on it.

"Alright." She stood up walking towards the bar. Leaning against the bar, she waved to the bartender. She smiled at him as he approached, he reminded her of the old bartender. As he walked up she couldn't help reminsce. When her old friend Frank would chat with her the entire night.
"What can I get you?" The barman asked warmly.
"Can I get a bottle of vodka and two glasses please." Danika requested, between the two of them it wouldn't do much. The bar man handed her the bottle of Grey Goose and two scotch glasses. Collecting it all up, she began walking back. Taking her seat opposite Jack she placed the vodka off to the right and placed a glass infront of him. "I figured we could share a bottle." A sweet flirty smile crossed her face as the words floated from her mouth.

He nods as he watched her walk up to the bar, he hasn't really been this social with a woman in so long, it felt rather chemical to him, but then again, it wasn't at all bothering him. He slipped off his sunglasses to see better, he opened those gold eyes of his to see her, indeed she was beautiful.
As she came back, he rested his shades down in his pocket, looking to the glass as it was set down in front of him, grinning back to her at her remark, "Thanks, Sounds reasonable..." he said as he picked his up, taking a light whiff before he proceeded to taking a sip, that warm, strong taste ran down his throat and right down into his body, a magnificent substance it was, it never froze.

She took a small sip of her drink, she hated the taste but it was by far her favorite drink. Relishing the burning sensation she closed her eyes. As she opened them she stared into Jack's yellow eyes. She had never seen anything like them before. Tilting her head she couldn't stop staring.
"Your eyes..." She drawled, "I've never met anyone with naturally yellow eyes." Her's were a really vibrant light green. Resting her head on her hand she smiled softly.

Wayne's eyes met hers as she looked at them. Indeed they were an unnatural colour, they were yellow like most wolves' eyes were.
"It happens on rare occasions, when a were has reached 100 years and has been transforming alot since..."
He sips his drink again, he wasn't afraid of anyone spotting his eyes in their booth, he was glad he was able to look at her in the eye, and let her know he was an honest man, as intimidating as he looked and all.

She nodded, they were kinda captivating to her. She took a long sip from her cup and she smiled at him. Her hand fell gently on the table, her other hand traced the opening of the glass. He had such a hard face but his eyes were gentle. She smiled at him in a soft way, he was very intriguing. She wanted to inquire more but she wasn't sure where to start.
"What do you do?" She inquired curiously, "I mean for a job that is..." She wanted to know partly what brought him to the Big Apple people came for lots of different reasons. She wanted to know his.

Wayne thought of it for a moment before answering. "I'm a field agent for an underground group called The Coalition, we are bent on defending humans from immortals that dare to threaten the peace between mortals and immortals, all the while trying to maintain our secrecy as strictly as possible..."
He said as he sipped, his eyes not leaving her own, he was a sucker for green eyes. A question ran on in his head, really curious to how she became a werewolf.
"How did you become a werewolf?"
He simply asked, the sincere tone in his voice said she didn't have to answer this if she didn't want to.

She blinked a few times at his response. That was a big mission, it carried alot of danger with it no doubt. With a small smile she pondered what he had said. There did need to be someone to protect the mortals from the immortals. They were prey to their strength and powers. This man infront of her was a truely altruistic man, she couldn't help but smile. A defender of mankind of sorts, it was a sweet thing to do.
"Well, when I was 25 I was a dancer, and singer at a bar. It took me forever to get the gig. I met a very charming, primal man there, he and I had a very hot passionate relationship for a year." She paused smiling solomnly. "One night after we had finished making love, I had fallen asleep, my lover changed that night, he didn't have control of his animal instincts and I awoke to him snarling at me. I tried to calm him and he bit my arm. My brother rushed into the room with a shot gun and killed him. I kinda resented him, for killing Richmond... That was his name." She looked down at her now empty cup, she did miss him still. Part of her always will, he was a huge part of her. She had loved him alot, it never stopped her from loving another but she did recongize that she would always feel for him.

The last he remembered, vampires or weres having sexual relations with humans often resulted in humans becoming one of them, it was probably a rare case, he knew someone who turned a woman just by kissing her. "How did your brother know how to kill a were? did he have any knowledge of what our weaknesses were at the time?" he asked as he grabbed the vodka bottle, pouring a little more for her now. It occured to him, it was possible he knew of weres and their weaknesses, the only real way to kill them was either to decapitate them, burn them, or take silver to them, He wasn't sure of it, but it was rumored that very new weres could be killed with a standard bullet to the brain, weres who aren't more than a year old, then again, the were Danika had encountered couldn't be under a year old.

She never really did find that out. It was possible that her brother knew and just left her to her own devices or that, he had seen the change and because her family was superstitious he happened to have silver bullets. It had never occured to her that her brother had to have known. She lifted her head, looked her new companion in the eye and sighed.
"I have no clue..." She was thoughtful, tapping her lip gently she dropped her hand on the table again. "I never really thought about it... It never occured to me he had to know." She looked down to the side her brother knew, it was a shocking revelation.

He nods as he pours a little bit back into his glass before setting the bottle back down. Wayne never recalled meeting a werewolf by the name of Richmond, he may have to do some research later.
"Have you considered looking for someone else?" he asked as he took a sip, he was not intentionally asking because he too was single, he was simply curious, if she had been looking over these past years, not a whole lot can do in times like these.
