"I need a drink. A nice big tall drink. Maybe a burger too. Yeah a burger sounds good."
A female mumbled around a cigarette that hung loosly from her lips as she walked casually down the sidewalk. The brown and blond strands of hair blew rapidly behind her as the wind whipped down the street. Everyone was bundled up in their heavy winter jackets, but this female? She had on a concert t-shirt and a pain of skinny jeans. Cold just didn't bother her anymore. Taking a long drag on the cigarette the female pulled the door open to The Hard Rock and let the soft sounds of music and chatter wash over her.
"This is so what I needed."
A smile spread across her face as she sauntered into the resturant. From behind the bar the bartender gave her a casual nod and her grin grew full blown.
"I'll take a rum and coke. Heavy on the rum."
The female collapsed onto a bar stool and took another long drag from her cigarette. The bartender nodded again as she spun around to stare out over the resturant. Many of the waiters and waitreses were watching her carefully. Probably remembering what happened last time she was in here. A dry chuckle escaped her. She'd broken the bar and lost her humanity. Not surprising that they were worried somethign like that would happen again despite the amount of times the CA had told them it was an accident. She finished her cigarette and turned back to face the bar. The tall glass of rum and coke was sitting before her and a grateful smile crossed her.
Taking a large sip, she it up another cigarette and then scanned the resturant. Any fights tonight? Would anything happen tonight? Who knew and quite frankly she didn't care. She did a lot of shit today and decided it was best to reward herself. So if anyone wanted to fuck with her, she'd straight up fuck them up.

So the day was just on the verge of becoming rather terrible before Vincent decided to head out and party a little. So far through the day he had been hunted by four hunters, shot, stabbed and even got hit by a car. So for a day he had enough bull shit going on and it was time for a drink. But the question was what bar to go to? Well hell he loved music and he loved to drink and fight. With those likes that left one place wide open for him the hard rock. A nice bar where life music played and dumb humans loved to fight
He had been here hundreds of times and had seen many different owners in his days, slowly the place was calming down though and here he was just getting more wired up by the day. The place was just down the road as well from his complex. Which was the best thing ever for a immortal who wished to drink all the time.
After a while of resting up and getting dressed Vincent headed to the bar, it was silent for now the only loudness was the band which was actually pretty damn good. "One Mug full of 151 please" Same thing every time he came here it seemed that 151 was the only drink that could actually get him a bit tipsy.
After pounding down the huge glass he walked over and listened to the band. Thats when things started to liven up. One of the bikers from up north of the city was in and seemed to have drank just a little much. Vincent was messing around a little and bumped into the biker and the next thing he knew he was being swung at. Taking the hit straight on he stared at the big guy and smiled. "Now that was just rude." Picken the man up by the throat Vincent held him in the air for a moment then tossed him towards the bar, where a girl was sitting.
Luckily Vincent was aware of her and made sure the biker landed a few inches to her left as he smashed into the bar. His eyes looked around the room as he noticed a few members their had turned their attention to him. "What? he started shit with me."
Turning away he went back to listening to the music trying to ignore the odd looks he was getting from the people in the room. He forgot that he had to be careful when he tossed people around, because they flew further then his own kind.

The female took a drag on her cigarette and had her glass to her lips when a man walked in. Normally she wouldn't have cared if a man walked in but this man wasn't any ordinary human. Great now she had to deal with a Were-bear. Slighty interested the female turned so she could watch him. When he downed his drink and made his way over to the band she decided he was of little threat. So long as he stayed on that side of the bar away from her. That was all she needed was to get involved with a Were-bear. The female had just finished her first drink and was moving on her second when a biker crashed into the stools next to her. Annoyance flittered over her and she spun around on her stool cigarette between her lips.
"Seriously? You just had to throw him over here? Look I destroyed this bar once let's try not to do it again. They don't take to kindly to people who start fights."
The female snarled at him. The gold of her eyes caught light and glinted. Annoyance twisted her features as she picked up her drink and settled back onto the bar stool. The biker was grumbling as he pulled himself up right. The look in his eyes told the female he wasn't done. So she Stood up yet again and grabbed him by his shirt and dragged him out of the resturant.
"If you are going to start something then start it outside. I will not deal with this crap right now."
The female snarled at the biker. Who just stared at her. When she finished he opened his mouth to say something but she slammed him against the wall of the Hard Rock.
"I suggest you get the hell out of here before we see just what your insides look like."
The female released the biker who scurried off. With a snarl she walked back into the resturant who now had gone silent and was watching her carefully. Her cigarette had fallen out of her mouth when she was outside. Annoyance made her snalr as she glared at the Were-Bear.
"Everyone can go back to what they were doing. Really I won't destroy the bar this time. This is all your fault Mr. 151."
The female growled at him before returning to her drink. Hopin that maybe she could be left in peace, but some nagging feeling in the back of her head told her otherwise.

Vincent could do nothing but stare at the girl in utter shock. Never once had some one yelled at him quite like she just had. His face twisted to that of some one who was highly confused and he simply stood their silent a a mouse for a moment as he tried to figure out what had just occurred. But from everything he gathered he just pretty much pissed of some one who hated the world as much as he did. Well maybe not as much but she sure seemed to be a lot more of a bitch then he ever was able to be as an ass hole.
Walking towards the bar silently after she finished yelling at him he lowered his head and got another drink. Still he could not think of a single word to say to her. It was not even he was scared to or anything he was just simply so shocked that he was left with out any words to speak of to her. Sipping his drink he kept his eyes on the bar table for a little while as he gathered his thoughts.
After a short time the state of his shock wore off and he glanced up and looked at her. She was small and not overly bad looking. But he sure had to admit she had one huge temper which reminded him of himself. "Yo wait wait wait? who the fuck are you to tell me what to do? I mean its not like your my god damn mother after all. "
That was all he had managed to come up with to say. He knew it was just going to get her going again but now he was prepared for her yelling and was looking forward to it. Maybe she would even attack which would just be funny as all hell to him.

His presence washed over her and she resisted the urge to growl. She so wanted to but man oh man was it hard not too. Her temper only flared and she took a deep breath hoping that would calm her down. Maybe if she was lucky she wouldn't get pissed at him. Words came from him and wrapped around her and she snapped. The female slammed the glass down on the counter a little too hard and some of it spilled on to the top of the bar.
"Ok look I never said I was your god damn mother. I am looking after this resturant because I have seen it destroyed once and I will not let it get that way again. I'm sorry that your head has been shoved so far up your ass that you can't even see for a second what a nice place this is but I know what it's like and you are not going to destroy it."
The words were twisted with a snarl as she got right into his face. It wouldn't surprise her if he got pissed off but this was not what she needed right now. Did she attract assholes or what? Why wouldn't they just leave her alone?
"John put it on my tab. I'm getting out of here. Some people are ruining my nigght and I won't hurt this place again."
The last part was aimed at the Were-Bear, but she wouldn't be surprised if he didn't catch it. Without so much as giving the Were-Bear a second glance she left the resturant. He'd follow her. No man in their right mind would ever take a blow like that from a woman and then let her walk away. Especially a guy who was very similar to her. Who knew there were people out there like that. The female lit up yet another cigarette as she made her way down the sidewalk. People parctically parted as she passed them. Smart people.
"This is why I try to have as little contact with anyone as possible."
The female mumbled around her cigarette as she took a long drag from it pausing in her walk. The wind whipped around her as she stood there smoking on her cigarette. She was partically enjoying the silence and waiting for that Were-Bear to show up. Maybe he wasn't like her. Maybe he was smart and would try to stay clear of her. Good. Because if he pushed her to change then she probably would do something stupid. Most likely something she would regret. A song came to life in her head and she hummed it softly waiting under the moon.

The girl got right up in his face and let him have it. She was a tough little one with a hot little attitude. But he was simply only playing with her now, even as she screamed at him and did her best to make him angry simply he was just enjoying the fact that some so minor had pissed her off to such and extent. His face remained still as she screamed and the only thing that changed was the fact by the end of it their was a huge grin on his face.
Did she honestly think she was going to scare him into behaving with mere words? hell even the hunters did a better job at keeping him behaved then this girls words ever where going to do. Watching her as she got up he smiled and waved her a farewell as she left the place. Turning back towards the bar he grinned and looked straight at the bar tender. "Give me two bottles of 151 and what ever she was drinking." The bar tender did as he was asked and Vincent smiled and tossed two hundreds on the bar before getting up and walking out.
Holding the bottle in his hand and her mixed drink in another he walked rather quickly until he caught up to her. He had actually manage to get infront of her since he allowed himself to move at a little more then a normal human pace, using the building to move through the area even quicker. Once he spotted her he leaped infront of her and held the mixed drink out for her. A soft smile spread across his face.
"Well mam i must admit never once has any one and i mean any one told me off like that.. Honestly im pretty shocked you did so. And for it i respect you. So accept this apology and dont let me ruin your night okay? " His words were smooth and soft as he spoke. the drink still being held out for her as his other hand held two of the bottles.

It didn't surprise her that he had followed her. She'd actually expected it. But when he appeared with a rum and coke it was her turn to be dumbfounded. Gingerly she accepted the drink listening to hs words. A light blush settled across her face as she finsihed her cigarette and discarded the butt of it.
"Well I'm glad to have put you in your place you cocky little bastard."
The words were playful and light as she sipped her drink and leaned against the building. Golden eyes settled on the moon and a grin spread across her face.
"The name's Aliyah Jackson by the way but call me Li. I hate the name Aliyah."
Li mumbled eyeing him carefully. She wondered if he even knew she was a werewolf, though she didn't doubt it, but she still wondered. Li shook her head and laughed quietly to herself.
"Man you should have seen the look on your face when I first spoke to you. You looked like the bar had all of a sudden grown legs and tits and was barking at you."
She laughed so hard the words were almost hard to understand but she figured he'd get it. But it was just too damn funny. The image of him kept popping up in her mind and everytime it did she just laughed harder. Especially since he was so damn tall. That probably just added to the whole thing. After she calmed herself down and took a couple of large sips of her drink she turned at faced him.
"So what can I call you other than bastard? Not that I mind I'm just trying to be polite."
Which in reality, she was. Li was actually holding back a lot of the swears she had. She could be just as bad as a guy when it came to things but yet there were moments where she could be lady like too but she chose to ignore those. Most of the time.

"Well i guess some one had to after all no human would dare. "
He smirked at her and took notice of her blush. He was not going to make a comment on that though since it did not seem to be the right time yet to do so. She seemed to be the type of person though in which he could stand to be around and that was rare for him since for the most part he utterly hated just about every one and preferred to just be left the fuck alone. But no this girl took some type of ability to hold his interest on her and it was something he could not easily explain.
"Oh yeah haha well i mean come on how often does a girl come right out and put some one my size in their place? Come on now what else was i to do it was not like i could think of something right on the spot after that" He even had to laugh at her comment she was probably right he had been dumbfounded after all. She most definitely had told him and shut him up rather quickly after all.
He gave her a soft smile and nodded to her when she said her name and told him to just call her Li. Though she spoke again even before he could speak and tell her his own name. But it was okay since she wanted to know his name after all. "Well Li its a pleasure to meet you my name is Vincent." He gave her a soft bow and grinned.
Looking around he noticed it was pretty dark out now and he had forgotten about the time. "Well what do you say we head back in and have a drink? Ill buy after all i think i owe you that after ruining your night huh?"

The blush returned only this time it was a little darker than before. Taking a big sip of her drink, she tried her hardest to hide the blush. It wasn't often that she got compliments and when she did she always had a hard tiem accepting them. The alcohol in her drink didn't really affect her because her metabolism processed it so fast. It was nice to drink all she wanted and not have to worry about getting drunk. She did have a tipping point but she was far from it. Or maybe she was getting close to it and that's why she was blushing so much.
"Yeah well like I said you are welcome for me opening your eyes."
Li mused staring at Vincent. Damn he was pretty fine. And wait wait wait he wanted to buy her a drink? How sweet, but what she really wanted at the moment was a nice big juicy burger.. Yeah, that's what she would milk him for. A burger.
"Alright fine I'll go back in with you but you're going to buy me a nice burger and some french fries."
She taunted poking him in the chest before she turned and made her way back to the resturant drink in hand. He hadn't acually ruined her night in fact he actually made it better. She was glad he had showed up even though he was a prick. It was still nice to have the company. She had actually been contemplating summoning up Raphael for a little fun, but that would have only ended badly. Or good, depending on how a person looked at it. Before enterign the resturant she paused and turned to see if he was following her. Pain shot up her side and Li let out a little yelp as she spilled some of her drink. Guess she wasn't as healed as she originaly thought. With a growl of both irritation and embaressment, Li pulled the door open and made her way to a booth. John, the bartender, was laughing and shaking his head behind the bar. Li then proceeded to flick him off. Carefully she slid into the booth and waited for Vincent to join her.
"To be quite honest,"
Li mumbled fumbling for the menu and flipping through the pages.
"You didn't ruin my night. You acctually made it better."
Li left it at that as she fished through the menu looking for the best burger. He had fofered to buy her a drink but she didn't want a drink. She wanted a nice juicy burger. One way or another she would make him buy her a burger. She was starved.

He had to hide the slight grin as he caught her blush, it seemed to him that she as not overly used to the compliments of others. Which made this night even more fun, and no his goal as to see just how much he would be able to make her blush by the end of the night, it was a easy task since simple compliments worked rather well.
"Well I am not so sure on if you opened my eyes with just your words.. Im thinking mostly i was just speechless for the fact such a attractive young lady could be so well controlling maybe be the word?"
Finally though she made a response about returning to the little place with him. But he could not help but laugh a little at what her demands where. But he nodded to her and smiled, as soon he followed behind her as the two headed back to the restaurant. He stopped for a second just behind her as she seemed as if in pain, he as about to say something but stopped when she growled a little and barged on through the door.
Walking in close behind her he sat down at her side and waited as she flipped through the menu. He could care less about buying her food or any thing else really, it was not like he did not have enough money to pretty much just throw away. Looking up at her as she started to speak he smiled ear to ear from her words then looked back down at the bar.
"Well that is good to know. It would be a shame if i had ruined such a lovely girls night now would it not? " Of course he was acting sweet and polite now. That was mostly though due to his little game he had going with himself, though everything he did say was true so it worked for more then one thing.
"Well order anything you like and ill make sure the bill is paid for. Though im thinking a burger and fries might be a bad choice you would not want to ruin that figure now would you?" He spoke with a joking tone and gave her a smirk. He was no just being a smart ass.

Him being so close to her made her a little umcomfortable, only because she felt trapped. But she'd have to deal with it because she wouldn't let him know it bothered her. That damn blush was back and seemed to find a permanant place on her face. Why wouldn't he shut up with the fucking compliments? If he didn't stop it she'd punch him, but she wouldn't tell him that. Slightly annoyed and happy she found the burger she wanted and when the waiter appeared from no where she told him her order. A double bacon burger with chedder cheese and the works, plus an order of fires and a chocolate milkshake. She was fucking hungry and she would eat a cow right now if she could.
"Fuck my figure. I am going to eat whatever the hell I want to."
Li snapped at him at she handed the menu to the waiter and fiddled with the sugar packets. The blush had faded somewhat as she occupied herself with anything on the table. She felt like a little kid being tormented with no way out, but she had to find a way to top his game. Oh she knew he was playing a game with her. It wasn't that hard to figure out why his mood had suddenly shifted from asshole to nice guy in two seconds flat. It was her own fault for letting it get to her. Li took a deep breath hoping that would calm her and clear away the rest of her remaining blush.
"You can stop being an ass and complimenting me on every little thing. If you think that an attractive woman like me can be so controlling wait until you see how vicious I can be when pissed off."
The words were somewhat of a taunt but she'd only meant them for fun. Li had been trying everything she could to not look at him but then finally she gave up and turned so that her legs were folded indian style and her back was pressed against the wall. Fuck it let him play his little game. She didn't care. Her side throbbed and she winced. It wasn't nearly as bad as when she was outside but eating something would help it heal better.
"So Vincent tell me about yourself. You live around here? And don't think I'm weird for asking. I'm just trying to make some kind of conversation other than you telling me how pretty you think I am."
Li mumbled blowing a strand of brown hair out of her face as she placed and elbow on the table and leaned on her hand. She couldn't help but study him. He was interesting to her. The fact that he even wanted to talk to her had her captivated. Memories of Jason floated to the surface and a small smile came over her. Why at a time like this would Jason pop up in her head she did not know, but she liked it. After a few moments, Li realized she was staring off into space smiling like an idiot. That blush returned deeper and Li looked down at the table. Aw fuck now he's gonna think she was weird.

"Alright then... Not like its gonna make a difference any way right? People like us eat and eat and never gain a ounce. " Looking over at her as she ordered the food and handed the menu back he gave the bar keep a smile and nodded as he put a hundred down on the bar top. The funny thing was after living for so long money became something of little value. And Vincent had enough of it by now to simple just no longer care what it went to.
Her next words almost made him grin, but he contained himself as much as he could. So badly he wished to come back at her with a cocky ass hole reply. Such as well i love fierceness makes for a better night or something alone those lines. But simply he decided it was not the proper thing to do at this time. Instead he decided to drag the game of his out and to make her suffer a little more. But now he was going to be much more smooth about it.
"Well i see then.. So you figured out my act was one huge game? Pretty smart i must say you figured it out much quicker then i had ever expected. kudo's to you. " Of course the words where meant all in the same to simply just make her blush once more by applying a simple compliment into her figuring out something semi close to his little game.
Soon though his attention drifted across the room where a guy was arguing with some girl. But his attention was snapped back to his newly found friend when she asked about him. Though he had to admit it was a good thing to ask but how was he going to respond to it in a place like this? So for now his response was going to be short and choppy.
"Well iv lived here lets just say for a very long time, but not per-say from here. And well for a side bit of information im a fighter as well. For more information though id say we would need to go some where else. Oh and dont worry its not weird at all of you to ask." But as he was talking and before he was going to say more he caught her starring off into space, then when she caught herself her little blush returned and he simpy just gave her a soft smile.
"Ahh i see im boring huh? I always knew that was the reason i could never stick with a girl for very long.. Hmm ill need to fix that i guess." While he spoke he held a sad and confused little look on his face to add to his little speal. But made sure his tone was easily noticed as him just messing with her.

It took her a couple of seconds before she realized he had thought he was boring her. Before the blush could consume her face, Li took a deep breath and then let herself calm down before she spoke.
"Trust me if you were boring me, I would make it very clear."
Li grinned at him pushing the thoughts of Jason out of her head as her wiater walked by. An idea came to mind and she snagged the waiter.
"Hey can I get my order to go?"
When the man nodded, she smiled and settled back in her seat. Once again she sat there for a few seconds studying Vincent. He was definately much older than she was and she couldn't tell if he was turned or born. Normally, for some odd reason, she could always tell but with him nothing came to her.
"How about we go to my apartment? It's really not that far from here. Since the only way to get you totalk is in a private setting then I suggest we go there."
Li shrugged it off like it was nothing and played with her drink. The bartender had filled it yet again for her and she was just running her fingers along the edge of the glass now. For a moment Li sat there palying what she had just said over and over in her head until she realized what it had sounded like. This time there was nothing she could do to stop the deep blush that coated her whole face. She turned and faced Vincent trying to find something to say.
"Look I'm only asking you to come to my place because I want to know more about you, I mean your species. I'm new to this whole thing so I don't know much about but I have been hunting for a few years so there is some that I know but still I'd like it if I knew more."
Her face burned as she babbled on. Yes she was babbling. Yes she was well aware that she was but for some reason she couldn't help it. Embaressed beyond belief, Li turned back to playing with her drink while she waited for the food to arrive. Finally the waiter dropped her burger, fries, and milkshake. Li snatched them up and pushed her rum and coke back toward the bartender. Her face was still flaming but not nearly as bad as it was when she turned to face Vincent. Maybe he would keep his mouth shut. Maybe.

He gave a small little smile as she told him he was not boren her. That was always a good sign he figured. But still he could not help but almost laugh when she told him he would know it if he was doing such a thing. "i see then Li well im glad i am not then, and i am rather sure you would let me know." Taking a sip from his drink he pushed the glass across the table towards the bartender and shook his head to let him know he did not want any more.
Looking at her with her next words spoken he almost smirked but pushed the perverted thoughts of her comment out of his head. He knew instantly she was embarrassed by it when her face went from a light tone to bright pink. Which was why he was not going to bother making a smart ass remark it would just be childish now to keep playing with her. Giving her a nod after she finished speaking and explaining why she had said it he just smiled and stood up.
"Dont worry about it. I understood what you meant and that would be great this place is rather how should i say... um loud for a good conversation? "
Walking up behind her he pulled her chair out gently and waited for her to get up. Placing a little more money on the bar he smiled at the bartender and waited for Li to finish. Still though her entire face was bright red and she seemed ever so like a little school girl, but he had to admit it was some what cute.
"Well shall we go then Li? Ill follow you since i doubt i know where you live after all. And their ill let you know a little more about myself. Why you are so interested i honestly do not know but it is all good i guess."

Well look at him being all nice and not saying anything mean. That actually made her face go redder but since she was turning away from him to get off the chair. By the time she faced him her face was back to that pink that it seemed to stay at.
"Well like I said I live only a few minutes away so it'll be better than here."
Li smiled at him as she made her way to the door food in hand. She didn't have to worry about him not following her. He was interested. It might not be her he was interested in but he was still interested. With little effort she pulled the door open and walked out onto the sidewalk. Taking a deep breath she brought the smells of outside into her nose and smiled. God it felt great to be outside.
"I'm interested in you because your old and you know what I mean by that. This whole thing with me is new and I seem to be adapting to it quite well. But the problem is I'm not sure if I'm ready to accept it yet."
Wow. Had she just said that? Had she seriously just told him what had been bothering her? Li shook her head and took a sip of her milkshake. She was doing it again. She had done this before with Jason. She had the tendency to tell people that she didn't know very well her secrets only because she knew they couldn't judge her as harshly. As she made her way down the sidewalk toward the looming building at the end of the street, Li totally spaced out. Why had she been trying to get to know him? Was it really because she wanted someone to explain what it was like to be a Were? Or was there some other reason behind it? God if only she knew. Li blinked and the next thing she knew she was standing in front of her building.
"Well look at that we're here. Don't mind the building. My apartment is at the top."
Li smiled at him as she went inside and was going to push the button for the elevator but both were busy and she was rather impatient right now.
"Looks like we have some stairs to climb."
She went to the stairs and began her way up. Ten floors later she was finally at her apartment. She was actually getting kind of nervous because she couldn't remember if had cleaned up or not. this nervousness had caused her to run up the last three floors hoping he would either keep up or meet her at the top. Li fished out her key and had the door opened within seconds and as soon as she stepped inside she was attacked by a small deep red ball of fur.
"GAH! Blood! God damn it don't do that to me!"
Li snarled as the deep red ball of fur clawed its way to the top of her head. After walking a few circles the little red cat curled into a ball and fell asleep, all on top of Li's head.
"Stupid cat. Hey Vincent don't mind whatever mess I have. I apologize for whatever mess is in there, but come on in. Oh and pease don't comment on my choice of head ware. It's not me its the stupid cat."
