Reckoning:Those whom have connections with Shadows

Shadows inhaled deeply from the doorway. The wind cut through him like a cold blade as it sent a chill deep into his bones. Eyes, once dark green were now a ark glowing red and his pupil was slightely slanted. More power than ever before radited from his body. In his absence it seemed things had calmed down here. His lips curved up into a crooked smile causing the tips of his fangs to protrude from his mouth. The loud roar of the engines were suddenly cut off signifying it was almost time. Walking to the door, the plane was almost into a nose dive as Shadows' took his final gaze around with a laugh.

Shadows roar of excitement was mute to his ears as he plummetted through the air. The wind ripped at his eyes as if the city its self was reluctant at his return. Reaching out with his power the tenrils reached even the darkest corners of the city. Anyone who had anything to do with Shadows would feel the summon. The ground was closing in fast and with a professional twist of his body he landed in an alley way on his feet and dropped to his knees. The ground under him buckled for a few seconds and suddenly the deafening crack signified the destruction of a pipe deep under the concrete below.

Shadows walked into the street light, his eyes moving slowly over the streets. Vice was out of the question for quite some time but this city would suffice. Crimson eyes stopped on a female lycanthrope as she stalked a human corpse. Shadows was gone and a splutter of blood was all that wasseen before a deafening howl. The two immortals smashed into the ground as Shadows ripped at the throat of the wolf tearing away flesh and ligaments. The blood sprayed out in great bursts coating Shadows' mouth as he latched on. The struggle lasted a few seconds before the lycanthrope fell still. Standing, steam rose from the freshly spilled blood as Shadows smirked. His power was far beyond what it had ben when he left. The killing and consumption of the creators blood gave him more power than he would have ever imagined. Shadows was the fountian of blood for his blood line, he was the father, the maker, and the destroyer if need be. Again he reached out with his tendrils of power towards those whom would recognize the call.

Scarlet had gone about her life in a normal fashion ever since Shadows had gone on his way to find more members. Okay, it wasnt completely normal. It was filled with so many confusing things that her head spun sometimes. Playing with a strand of crimson hair her body shuddered, and pulled itself to her feet. For a short moment, Scarlet was confused. The feeling was familiar and fear struck her body. Shadows was back. Her emerald eyes were wide, her fraglie frame trembling. She knew she was in for a beating for what she had done. Though, she had found out all too late that it was forbidden. Scarlet had changed Linx, someone whom Shadows had apparently told to never associate with one of his clan ever again. She wished she would have known sooner.

None the less she thought it best that she got to him and admitted her mistake before he just found out. It might lessen her punishment. Her boots were on in seconds and out the door she went. Scarlet ran through the night, the cold air stinging her skin. Her eyes squinted, the air drying them out. The heavy scent of Shadows and blood was growning stronger, making her vision swim. Scarlet hid in the shadows a bit down the street for a moment. He was stronger than before. He would surely demolish her. Scarlet still took a deep breath and stepped out of the shadows, her head hung a little. "Its nice to see you again Shadows." She said softly, her voice submissive.

Shadows mind was filled with thousands of flashing images. The amulet he had given Aiden was completing it's use. Everything Aiden had done, said or heard was filling his mind in a title wave of knowledge. The distant sound of frantic breathing and aquick pulse rate signalled the first of his connections approaching. Suddenly he paused what was going through his mind. A single word made his entire body stiffen. Siphoning back through the images he stopped on one memory and accessed it. The conversation involving Lynx, that traitor, the weak one, the swine all came through Aiden's mind and into Shadows'. Shadows moved on untill the images stopped then cut off the link which would cause the amulet around Aiden's neck to crack.

Turning Shadows' crimson eyes moved to Scarlett. Turning, his body moved completely fluidly, as though gravity had no hold over him in the slightest way. His eyes were brighter than before from the feeding as he glanced over Scarlett briefly. "Scarlett, my crimson butterfly." Shadows' lips curved into that smirk he always used. Moving briskly he moved as the ultimate predator through the anmosphere, as if the earth its self was wary. Shadows froze within arms reach as he gripped her chin and raised it slowly so he could see her eyes. "Now....let me look at you." Shadows scrutinized her for a few seconds before speaking. "You look feeble....weak.....fix that. Now tell me....what's bothering you to made you look like a whipped dog? what......have.....you.........DONE!!!!" Shadows voice exploded through the streets causing all to fall silent.

Scarlet smiled a little at his inital comment and it was nice to see a sort of smile. His face brought comfort.... and fear. Her heart pounded, her pulse raced and her cheeks grew pink. How was she to tell someone so powerful that she had betrayed him. As he moved closer, she watched, her eyes glittering slightly. His powerful hand reached out, taking her chin firmly into its grasp. The power he held made goose bumps cross her skin, the hair on the back of her neck stood on end. He was looking at her, and she didnt mind that, not in the least. Her eyes stared back, ferice but frightened as well. There was a pause before he spoke again.

Scarlet breathed in. "Im sorry Shadows, i suppose i have neglected my training while you were away. I will resume as soon as possible." She tried a smile, which turned out a little smushed because of his hand on her chin. Scarlet nearly jumped from her skin at the volume of his voice, and now, was her moment of truth. "I... i thought it best that i tell you myself than you find out.... I'm not a coward." Her body was limp. "Linx... yes, him... well..." she started breating harder than normal. "I... i changed him. Forgive me please! I didnt know that he was hated! I found out too late! He didnt know i was of your clan and i didnt know about him having to stay away!" Tears rolled down her cheeks in fear, but her eyes were wide. "I held back your traits Shadows. He doesnt even take after me. He is his own person." She then fell silent for a moment. "I deserve what you are about to do to me. But i truely am sorry. I would have followed your word if i had known." Her eyes closed and she mentally braced herself for ungodly pain.

Shadows lifted her from the ground gingerly as his lips peeled back from his fangs. "Stupid foolish girl!" SHadows snarled, his voice carrying through the streets. Walking with her in his grasp he pressed her body against the brick wall and applied so much pressed to her chest, between her breasts, that the wall buckled slightely. A low rumbeling growl rolled from his lips. "He is nothing to me but a newly found pest to exterminate. As my comming back gift you will try and track him down, I haven't sensed him so he's either gone or dead." Shadows leaned closer, his crimson eyes boring into her very soul. "But I'll know if you lie to me, find him and bring him to me, as your punishment you'll kill him infront of me. If he cannot be found then You'll have to finad another way to be punished." Shadows pushed a final time making the wall crack from the ground up with only one hand.

In a blurr his grip locked around her throat as he lifted her from the wall and sat her onto her feet. Slidding over a chair that sat by the dumpster Shadows sat into it and crossed his legs over the arm. His powerful body took up the entire chair nearly. His smirk had returned as his crimson eyes moved over her. "Give me the information I seak. What have you been doing in my absence....and where's Aiden? I can't reach her....that shouldn't be possible."

A squeak left her and her hand wanted to reach up and rip his hand away. First, it would only make it worse, second, it was impossible. He moved, Scarlets eyes squeezed shut as her back touched something rough. Slowly, she allowed them to flutter open and she gasped, the bones in her chest groaning with pain as he pinned her there. This time her hands had to grip his wrist, trying to pry it away. Her eyes locked with his then at the sound of his voice. She was unable to look away. Scarlet's tears poured faster, her heart pounding under his hand. She feared this would happen. Why not get it over with now?

"S-Shadows..." She studdered, finding it hard to form complete words when he stared to fericely. "I... I..." Scarlet flinched. "I cant do that. I cant.... I just...." She was cut off, his hand around her throat. In a fulite attempt, she squirmed. Finally she was set down and she could breathe, she leaned against the wall and sank down it, her eyes still spilling the tears. "I cant kill him Shadows... I cant..." her eyes looked at him, his hulking mass hiding the chair he sat in. "I... he..." She gulped. "I am engaged to marry him... I wont kill him shadows... i wont." Scarlet got to her feet. "Before you snap me in half... please give me a moment to explain." She stayed far away from him.

"I've never been so happy. Do you remember when i would have those huge spells of depression...? I dont get those anymore... Im stronger than i've ever been... All he's done is improved me. Think of what it would do to me if i had to kill him. I would be of no use to you..." Her body trembled like a leaf in the breeze. "I would be too broken to even think about killing a fly. I would never hurt anyone again. I could be constantly depressed... and you know none of that is good." Scarlet pleaded with the very person that gave her life, as he had the power to take that life away. Finally she hung her head. "Im afraid... you... you will have to find something else...."

Looking up Scarlet could only wonder where her love was, she just hoped he was far away, and safe. "Information...? I've... been with Linx. Wedding plans, new friends... nothing huge.... And i dont know about Aiden... I've not seen her since we were last together.... I suppose i am useless." Scarlet rubbed her eyes, disappointed. "You've got no idea how terrible i feel Shadows... Im sorry..."

Shadows listened to her words as his lips peeled back again revealing his fangs as they lengthened only slightely showing his frustrtion. " Scarlett you would defy me even now?" Shadows' stood his power lashing out in its whip like tendrils smashing into her power. Voice filled with a slow boiling rage he spoke calmly but dripping with venom. " One way or another Scarlett he will either never be around you or anyone else around me again, or he'll die. I just thought that you would want to end it quickly for him.....but once his body is in my hands it'll last for a millenia." Shadows sentence faded into a whisper that seathed with hidden flaes. Turning his eyes back towards her he raised an eyebrow. "I see now that you think you no longer need me? You only need Lynx? Wrong Scarlett. From that very first night together I planeted in you a hunger, a thirst that only gets stronger. I've been hiding it from you up untill now. I thought you were being a good little butterfly." Shadows turned his back to her and walked back to his chair.

A single tendril wound around her power and pushed through gently brushing her mind. Shadows crimson eyesmoved to hers. "Here's what happens if you're away from my aura for too long." The tendril slammed through her mind like a snake and shattered a small undetectable barrier. Unleashing the subdued side effects of the blood gultch through her body. She would feel subzero cold and scortching hot at the same time. Scarlett's body would tickle but explodem with pain at the same time. In a radiu around Shadows a redish glow was now seeable by her an once inside that glow it would all stop and be filled with feeling of utter bliss and pleasure of all kinds. The side effect even affected her mind, making her see him everywhere.

The tendrill suddenly threw up another wall and retreated back to Shadows. Blood red eyes rolled over her body and stayed on her face. "Would you truly want to live with that for all time? I will unleash the full force of it on you instead of the mere taste you recieved. My Power can bring other worldly pleasure and strength.......or pain, agony and death." Shadows whispered the last bit as he sank back into his seat.

Scarlet sank to her knees, the pants she wore tore open. Her reddened eyes stared up at the man she thought of as her master of sorts. The ever sparkling green eyes were filled with the pain of such a heavy decision and the regret for betraying Shadows. What what else could she have done? She had no idea that Linx was off limits. If only she had told him. Shadows wouldnt allow himself to take even a little responsibility for this, and she wouldnt bring it up. As of now, it was all her fault. It was her fault for running into him in the halls, it was her fault that she allowed herself to fall in love-to be happy-, and it was her fault she changed him even though Shadows never said a word to her about not doing it. All she could do was beg. "Please dont hurt him.... I'll... I'll stay away from him... Just please dont hurt him..." Her eyes were staring up at him, then slowly turned down as crimson locks of hair sheilded her face.

Shadows seemed to misunderstand her words. "No Shadows, i know i need you... Its just... I need Linx to be truely happy.... But i guess that means nothing." The last small phrase was so soft that she hadnt even known she said it. The few words he said to her 'i thought you were being a good little butterfly', hurt her. They stung and yet she didnt know why. Scarlet did not regret falling in love with Linx. "I thought i was being Shadows... I want to be your good little butterfly... Dont you believe me when i say if i had known i wouldnt have done it..?" Her eyes pleaded for the slightest bit of mercy, but it faded fast. This was mercy. he hadnt torn her to peices yet, she was in one peice and unharmed. This was a phsyical mercy. Inside though, well she might as well be better off dead.

His figure moved back to the chair, and Scarlet sighed softly, sniffling in an effort to clear her stuffy nose. When he turned she had shuddered, something was touching her some how and she knew it must be Shadows. Her eyes stared into his, and for a moment her face was blank. A part of her mind shattered like glass, her eyes widening and her lips parting with an expression of surprise. The sweet and innocent look turned violent in a second. Scarlet let out a scream that would scare any normal person, as it was not natural. It was a terrified, pain filled and high pictched scream mixed with the much deeper feral growl that dared creep up her throat. Her body tensed and arched there on the ground as her hands tore at her skin, trying to rip something away, like doing so would stop the pain. It felt like she was freezing, her organs turning to ice, yet her skin was on fire. Her sides tingled as though feathers touched them, but there was also the feeling on a thousand knives stabbing her.

As soon as it started, it was over. Scarlet could see nothing, Shadows dark face plastered in her vision. Her body was now limp, her chest heaving, trying to get air. Finally she could see the sky and figured that she must be laying on her back. Slowly, her head turned to stare at Shadows, her eyes wide. "No... No i dont...." Scarlet breathed, dragging herself to her knees again, not wanting Shadows to see her weakness. Her arms braced her stunned and staying body as she sat there. "I... I will stay away from him..." She said softly, her heart tearing-which she was sure Shadows would hear-just at the thought of never seeing her love ever again. "Such is a lonely existance..." Scarlet choked out as she stared down at the beautiful shining daimond on her left ring finger.

Shadows' watched as Scarlett suffered under only a piece of what her touching the blood gulch's affects and smiled lightely. "Scarlett you still don't understand why I'm always so intense. What you just felt, multiply it by thirty and then jump into a pool of acid. That's the downside of the blood gulch that I have." Shadows was suddenly on his feet as if lifted by strings. Walking towards her he stopped as he listened to her speak. "I Live with the feeling I just described every day." A small smirk spread over his lips. "That's why I feel no pain." Shadows crouched down and took her chin lightely in his hand as to not crumple her face. SHadows eyes turned a warm churning pool of crimson as he spoke. "Ahead of us is a very hard path Scarlett and by abandoning the thing you care about must is the safest path for both of you. After you feel the pain I know you're feeling now, everything else will seem much easier. Just know that he knows you love him and always will, and you've given him the greatest gift you could. He will never suffer the effects of old age, disease, sickness, mortal pain. If he doesn't know you love him after that then he doesn't deserve you." Shadows stood again and offered Scarlett his hand.

He waited there silently for a few moments before speaking. "Don't worry Scarlett. In the end all will turn out better. I'm back now and all those who stayed loyal to me and return to be will be treated well. I haven't hurt you nearly as bad as I would have liked to, neither physically or mentally....or emotionally." Shadows lips curved into a smile. "My initial thought was to have his spine in my hand when you arrived. But I've chosen mercy this time. Do not press me again, I'm forgiving ablout once a millenia." Shadows smiled wider flashing his fangs as he pulled open his trench coat flashing his bare chest and a heavy medallion on his chest that signified his place as a "Fountain of Blood" the head of a powerful blood line. "After all, what can I be angry about right now?" Shadows spoke as he revealed the medallion.

Scarlet nodded the best she could, her eyes closed for a moment, trying to see Linx's face. "I understand now Shadows..." her voice was raspy, and clearly upset. The depression was back, and nothing but Linx would fix it. She did though, start to understand that Shadows dealt with pain that would be unbareable to her small frame. To live an eternity with that would drive her for suicide. A large hand cupped her chin and lifted her heavy head up, her eyes opening to see Shadows there, looming above her like death. His eyes were softer now though, and she wasnt as afraid as she was before.

His words made sense, but also tore her up. Never see Linx again? Was that even possible for her? Even though Shadows seemed to have a soft spot for Scarlet, she wouldnt push her chances with asking to see him occasionally, just to check on him. "He knows... Im sure of that..." She smiled faintly at the happy memories reeling through her mind. When they came to an abrupt stop, with Scarlet alone, she gulped and closed her eyes for a moment. Shadows had released her and she took his hand, hauling herself to her feet. "I dont know if you would understand it Shadows.... Its hard for me to love and let go... Everything that makesme happy gets taken away..." Scarlet then shut her mouth, having been talking to herself. "Sorry... Ignore that.."

Shadows next comments made her flinch, her body cringing away. The thought of Linx lying there, lifeless, Shadows the reason for it. It made tears fall as she shook her head furiously, trying to get the vision from her mind. "Please... If i must stay away from him dont instill such horrid pictures in my mind.." She begged softly, wiping her tears and composing herself again. Scarlet looked at the heavy thing hanging from his neck with mild intrest. "Nothing i hope.." She said softly. "Mind my asking what that is...?" Her voice cracked as she cleared her throat to fix it.

Shadows looked down at the amulet and rolled his eyes. "You damn young vamps don't know shit anymore!" Growling he lifted her hand and pressed it against the medallion. Power would explode from the medallion and shoot up her arm and hit her body filling her with power, a taste of Shadows power. Red static cackled from it as Shadows laughed. Shadows power had multiplied from before and the orgasmic power from long go was universally more powerful and not only that it cast a euphoric bliss over the mind aswell. Pushing her hand away the red static cackled around not the amulet but his entire body now. Shadows had stopped hiding his power now but quickly pulled it back in causing everything to go quiet.

Shadows smirked as he crouched and pulled the trench coat closed over the medallion. "I find it insanely annoying that my power is of that sense. I'm a violent blood thirsty sociopath and my power is the most seductive sexual thing on the planet. The euphoric sence it throws onto people is completely different than mine. It vexes the shit out of me." Shadows eyes slowly dimmed as he reeled his excitement back in. Standing he stretched and cracked his neck.

Scarlet frowned. "I dont have anyone to teach me anything. One person is dead. The other had been gone for a long time." She narrowed her eyes a little. Scarlet didnt like being called stupid. As she allowed Shadows to lift her hand she studied the silly thing. It was nothing but unessicary bling. She knew that it meant more than that though, Shadows wouldnt wear it otherwise. Her skin began to tingle even before it made contact, and she studied it closely. Her palm pressed against it and her body was tossed into a fit of pleasure. Scarlet gasped, her body shivering and tensing up as her jaw locked together, as not to embarras herself.

It was hard for her to even stay on her feet as her knees bent, but did not fail. When she was able to be freed she ripped her hand back, stumbling a step or two. "Jesus fucking Christ.." She panted, looking at her hand and shaking it, trying to get the odd tingling sensation to go away. "Why dont you ever warn me when you do that? Stupid pleasureable powers..." She glowered at the strange thing, a frown on her face. "Ugh, do you enjoy doing that to me?" Scarlet asked with a graceful arch of one eyebrow. "I've never understood it either... I guess your just another weirdo..." She grinned, the fire back in her eyes even though unbareable pain was behind the mask.

Shadows let out a burst of laughter as he listened to her. The laughter felt like silk sliding over the skin of all who heard it. The sound of his laughter was unbareably pleasureable to the ears and body at once. As the laughter died the world would seem like a much colder darker place. "Of course I love doing that Scarlett. It's so damn funny watching you trying to hold in your little noises." Shadows laughed again bringing back he pleasurable sensations untill he stopped. Sinking back into his chair he starred at her hard for a few seconds, scrutinizing every aspect of her.

Shadows finally sighed as he placed his hand on his head rubbing his eyes. "Scarlett you may see Linx on occaisions, few occaisions but occaisions none the less, you may not tell him anything about what you're doing or anything about me and especially about Aiden. He cannot come back ever. If he does the deal is off. If you try and see him without my permission the deal is off, if he comes here, to my territory he dies." Shadows pulled his hand away from his face. "That is my one charity to you since I came back. Don't ask me for anything else for a very long time. I only ask that you stay loyal." Shadows blinked his eyes turning into a pool of crimson again. "What do you have to say?"

"Well.. you know what..." Scarlet huffed, her face flushing the brightest red Shadows had ever seen. His laughter made her shiver, but she was able to repress the rest of it. She then leaned against the brick wall behind her. Scarlet stared at her boots thatw ere scuffed and worn as things filled her mind. Linx's handsome smile, His messy silver hair and matching shiny eyes. A soft sigh left her as she played with her ring, thinking of how she would get on without him. The time he had left for a week or so was toutrure alone, but for the rest of her life? Never. Scarlet was then disrupted by another shiver caused by Shadows inticing laugh. "Ugh. Stop being so damn applealing will you?" She grinned, her eyes glittering faintly.

As he sat down she watched him. he looked frustrated about something and Scarlet could only wonder what. Finally, he spat out what he was thinking about and Scarlets mouth dropped open. Her eyes bubbled up with the happiest tears, her heart swelling. "Shadows..." She breathed. Looking in his eyes for some sort of doubt, like he would be lying to her. "I... you... aha...!" She started dancing around, her long crimson hair flying about. Scarlet then dashed over in a white and red blur, plopping herself in his lap and wrapping her arms around his neck. She squeezed tightly and gave him the biggest kiss on the cheek. "THANK YOU!!" Her sweet voice squeaked as she then hopped up, dancing about again. Scarlet wasnt completely cut off from Linx. What he asked of her was easy to keep. "Oh i promise to do as you ask from now on! Thank you so much!!" Scarlet hopped about in a blurr, so hyper about this wonderful new news.

Shadows snarled as he wiped at his cheeck. "That's why I'm never fucking nice to you people." Wiping his face as he stood he turned and kicked the chair sendin it spiralling into the dumpster where he origninally aquired it. Turning back to her he raised an eyebrow. " Now that you've oficially had your burst of heroine I have something to say." Shadows walked foreward untill he was close to her yet not touching. "Your job will be to feed me whenever I want or need it. You know what my power does when I feed, noone else does there for you'll be the one to feed me. Also." Shadows looked over her body and raised an eyebrow. "You need a little more revealing clothing that brings out your hair color and eye color more." Shadows took few steps away.

Turning he swiftly threw her a piece of paper. "You'll get tht tattooes somewhere that is or will be visable at all times."

Shadows calmly walked up the side of the light pole he was beside untill he mounted the top and took a seat with his legs dangeling off the side. "What do you have to say Scarlett?"
