This is the gray-scale version of my second KGA for my drawing class. . . . And KGA stands for key-graded-assignment. So it's like a test, only it's a project. . . . What we had to do was synthesize two beings. . . they had to be organic. . . so like my friend did a Triceratops and a lion. . . . I did a butterfly and cobra! My scanner is kinda small and my sketchbook is kinda really big, so it was cropped a little bit during the scanning processes. (so was the other one but that one I don't care about because it sucked ass.) Not the best quality, but here it is.Over the next two weeks I have to color it, so stay tuned for the finished, colored version!

Well. . . I finally got the colored version done. XD I didn't have it finished for class, but the teacher still loved it. I recently finished it up so I could submit it for a scholarship. . . . The floor kinda sucks cuz I just wanted to get the damn thing done. Cobra Butterfly

Thank you. =3
There's more of it. . . but my scanner cut it off cuz it's kinda small, but it was just like half an inch of nothing. XD And that middle pillar rock thing. . . that sucks too because my colorless blender went and died. ><

Did you use prismacolor markers to color that? Because if you did then that's awesome (though its still awesome if you didnt, I just really love them).
I liked this a lot ^^, its adorable. I had to do project like this for Computer Creations, but I ended up doing a lizard and a man (we had to draw our two things out of a hat...thank god I didnt get a alligator and a tractor, like my friend)

Lol thanks. I just wish my stupid blender hadn't died. -_-; Half of it is done in marker, and the other half is done is colored pencil lol. Well, there's colored pencil through the whole thing, really.

I think it looks just fine. The ground isnt usually smooth so it gives it a little more character and texture.

True. It's just cuz there's a lot of white space that it bothers me so much. ><
