Summary:
Like most children, Maddi is more curious about life than scared. Anything that’s new, or moves holds her attention. For a short while anyway. Luckily, or not, because of her mothers current state. Maddi has seen, and been left alone, a lot more than most 5 year olds should. She just doesn’t understand her situation yet, and just sees everything as a big adventure. And she’s a master at creating adventures, generally talking to anyone on the way. Often when she comes home, she re-creates her adventures as drawings, with her bright colored crayons, and plays hide and go seek with her mums new boyfriend. Not that she realizes its most likely saving her life.

Summary:
Worms are the only thing Maddi has discovered she dislikes. They’re unnatural, weird, and ‘yucky‘. She’ll either, scream, cry or run away, if one is to come near her. Play grounds, are the most awesome thing on the planet, if you promise her theres a playground near by she’ll follow you like a lost puppy. Which is dangerous, since theres all sorts of nasty things / people out there. And with her size, she couldn’t stop them doing anything. But most people generally are concerned, and nice to her when they see her walking around.

Maddi is a cutie little five year old, that’s got dirty blonde hair, and the big bright blue eyes that hold so much expression. And, you definitely cant say no, if she pulls her puppy dog eyes if she wants something. Her complexion is pale due to malnutrition, and mostly going out at night. Also her frame is thin, and slightly frail due to malnutrition, and neglect. But she’s generally bubbly and full of life. Her standard clothing is a t-shirt, with her favourite bright red raincoat over top, some kids jeans and her red gumboots.

Being a general five year old she likes thing to go her way, otherwise if those baby blues don’t work. Bring on the water works. Then she usually gets what she wants, since its mainly strangers buying her things. Her curiosity for things works both ways, fun for her but could get her into some serious situations. But since she’s so young, she wouldn’t understand it anyway. But she does understand when she’s getting ignored, and will stomp around till the attentions on her again. And, If she’s in her curious mood, (almost always.) she’ll ask you questions till your ears fall off. Especially if it’s a rainy day.

Family Members: Mum, and her new “boyfriend”

History:
The world was a happy thing when this sweet young innocent child came into the world. Mum or ‘Lisa’ was over the moon. This would be her big ‘change her life around.’ Maddi, or Madalynn. Was a bundle of joy. A great kid, a mums dream. Slept when needed, wasn’t fussy, and hardly cried. Lisa’s friend always continued to say what alittle joy Maddi was and how easy going she was. And for the first two years of her life it all went well.

Then. A new boyfriend. He’d been part of Lisa’s old life. A life of drugs, sex, and rock’n’roll. Slowly the partying returned, having felt left out. Maddi soon found random people looking after her. Or a whole bunch of people at her house. Lisa still cared about her, but the pull of her old life was still strongly in her system. And soon enough, Maddi grew alittle older, and started to entertain herself. Talking to mums ‘friends’ who where usually out cold in the living room. Or playing in the house.

One day, when Lisa started to get back on the drug wagon. She’d left the door open, and Maddi found out there was a whole new world to discover. And ever since that one day, she’s gone out the front door to explore. Some days concerned strangers would walk her back home, and sometimes they just buy her food. A few of the local, food stalls, donate some food to her, and hold a conversation with her. And other days she in the park by herself going on big scale adventures.
