Summary:
Horses are naturally emotional and sensitive creatures; they can sense a person or animals emotions just by looking them in the eyes. So, when Kachina was turned, or ‘blessed by the gods’ as she calls it, she was given these qualities.
Horses are also the masters of speed, gaining them great respect among the Native American people for this. Kachina herself can reach speeds of up to 50 miles per hour. This gives her an advantage to not only humans, but other were-creatures too.
Besides that, Kachina also gained basic were-creature abilities. Some of these include acute senses, regeneration, the ability to turn other people, and control. Years of experience have allowed her to be able to train these an=abilities to the fullest extent
Weakness:
1. Silver
2. Decapitation
3. Removal of Heart
4. Can Not Control Her Transformation During the Full Moon
5. Mistletoe

Summary:
Were-Creatures have a deep allergic reaction to silver. When touched to the skin, nothing happens. Yet when placed upon and open wound, they flesh begins to melt away. Common stories believe that werewolves are also allergic to Mistletoe and Rye, Mountain Ash and Wolfs Bane will do too. But although these are thought to kill a werewolf, it is not necessarily true.
The only true methods of killing a were-creature are decapitation, removal of the heart, and total body incineration. All living organisms can not live without the heart or brain. Not to mention their body.

History:
Kachina Sinopa was born as “One Who Runs With The Wind” along a Platte River Settlement in 1795. Her people, the Northern Cheyenne, were peaceful Buffalo hunters. As a young girl, Kachina oversaw the battle between the Southern Cheyenne, allied with the Arapaho, against the Kiowa, Apache, and Comanche. It was a time of great change for the Cheyenne. But some of the changes were for the worst. Although peace was declared in 1840 between the five tribes, the white settlers caused tension with the arrival of the “Gold Rush” in 1858, nearly 18 years later. By this time, Kachina was ‘gifted by the gods’, as her father used to say. She had become a Were-Horse in 1815, forever destined to be 29.
In 1861, the Cheyenne chief agreed to a treaty to live on a reservation in South East Colorado. But the government did not fulfill the obligations of the treaty, leading Kachinas people into near starvation. So, Kachina lead her people on a white settlement raid in order to feed her tribe. This resulted in the ‘Indiscriminate Massacre’ of 1864. The U.S. Army declared war on her Sand Creek Reservation and had killed, raped, and scalped most warriors, woman, and children; leaving Kachina without a family. Afterwards, the Cheyenne went from a peaceful tribe to a bitter and cold one. They started battle, allied with the Sioux, and destroyed General Custer’s 7th infantry in the battle of Little Bighorn; the year was 1876. Noticing the suffering this brought on her people, Kachina surrendered and was moved by the Army to live in Southern Oklahoma in 1877. They were confined with the Southern Cheyenne.
After disease and malnutrition plagued her people, Cheyenne brought together the Northern and Southern tribes and lead an attempt to reach the North. The US Army eventually brought them back and then noticed their conditions and set them up another reservation in Montana. Kachina was furious at the White Men; they had lead her people to near extinction. She was one of the estimated 50 Cheyenne that survived the century. Kachina now lives along the place she was born and raised, the Platte River.
