Physical Age: 22

Religious Affiliation: None
Wealth: A few hundred grand
Job: She did whatever came her way. Mostly spying.Dear Diary;;
Specialties:
1. Lip Reading
2. Languages
3. Sharp Memory
4. Some fist fighting
Summary:
Jenna has trained herself in the tedious art of reading lips. Using her super human sight, she can catch the tiniest movements people make when they speak. She is excellent at discerning words and phrases that look alike, noting where people hold their tongues, their teeth, and their lips. She can accurately read a person’s lips from nearly forty yards, but it gets even harder for her to read lips if she is at such an angle that she is viewing the person from a profile view, but it is not impossible. She just gets less accurate the more hidden their mouths are.
She is fluent in many different languages, a few which include German, English, Russian, Spanish, French, Italian, and Japanese. Even if someone is speaking in this language, she can read their lips quite effectively as well. German was her native language, and she learned French second, then used her knowledge of that language to teach herself Spanish. It took a while for her to learn Russian and she is not real comfortable speaking with it, but she can understand it. Japanese is the language she most recently learned, and she would be considered semi-fluent in it. This, coupled with her ability to read lips, makes her a great asset when it comes to spying.
More recently she has noticed a spike in her memory. She can remember numbers without writing them down, she can pick up on little details that she hadn’t noticed before, and she has no problem putting faces with names. She has always had a pretty good memory, but it was only in the more recent weeks that she it has gotten even better. It’s not quite photographic, but it’s a whole lot better than most humans and some immortals’ memory.
She had never spent much time working on her combat skills, as she was more into the sneak around and take things from the shadows instead of tackling things head-on. Not to say that she didn’t know how to defend herself if need be, it was mostly basic defensive tactics and she was hardly a black belt, but again, most recently she has noticed a small increase in her battling. She now has some actual technique behind her hits, instead of just doing what felt right. She knows where to place hits, and she seems to know quite a bit about fist fighting.
Weakness:
1. Bad Hearing
2. Combat
3. Tires Easily
4. Her Shift
Summary:
Her hearing has never been up to par. When she was human, she was actually nearly deaf, kind of like when an elderly person’s hearing starts to fail. Had the technology been available, she would have probably had hearing aids. However, when she was turned, her hearing did get exponentially better, but still it wasn’t as great as it could have been. She wasn’t hearing as well as other were creatures or vampires, and it was this reason that she trained herself to read lips.
She was not built for combat. She’s a bit shorter than average and her build is not at all strong. Her fox form is her only redeeming quality when it comes to fights. She dislikes getting in fights because of this, and it doesn’t take much for her to admit defeat and back off, and it was this reason that she stays in the shadows and remains as unseen as possible when she’s trying to gather intel on people. She would much rather sneak about than risk getting herself hurt if she doesn’t have to.
In human form, she is incredibly frail. It’s still more resilient than a normal human body, but it’s not as strong as most other immortals. It doesn’t take much to leave her breathless, and she most often collapses from fatigue if she works too hard. This is another reason why combat is not her strong point. If a fight become inevitable, she will try it out for a while, see how it was going to go, then either yield to the other person or try to win it.
Jenna has no control over her shifting when it comes to the full moon. She hasn’t ever really tried to get control of it, and she kind of doesn’t even know she can. The fox that bit her left her and taught her nothing about the life of an immortal, mutant animal. She only knows that on a full moon she turns into a very big fox. She can, however, control herself while she is in this form. It took a few moons, but she learned to control her hunger. However, her shifting is erratic.Human Appearance;;
Hair: Naturally dark brown, died black with red highlights
Eyes: Naturally chocolate brown, starting to turn blue
Height: Five Foot
Marks: Fox tattoo on her shoulder blade
Race: German
Skin Tone: Tan
Body Type: Athletic
Clothing Style: Camouflage
Footwear: Anything that fits
Summary:
She was born with dark brown hair, and that was the way she wore it for some time. However, in the recent years, where she had been wearing it long, she’s been cutting it short and has it colored black. She has a few dark brown highlights, but you can only really see them when she in the right lighting. Her hair is naturally wavy, but she always take the time to straighten her hair, because she thinks that it just looks better that way on her.
Her eye color has been a mystery to her as of late. They had always been a deep, chocolate brown, but lately they’ve started getting flecks of blue in them. Like, part of each of her irises have been turning blue. It’s a striking difference, especially against her tan skin. She’s not too dark, but she definitely does get some sun. Even with her slightly darkened skin, the red fox tattoo she has on her left shoulder blade stands out. It’s faded slightly, but she gets it touched up every now and again.
Her field requires her to be physically fit despite the fact that she gets tired rather easily. She in a lot better shape than she used to, and one looking at her would definitely think she was healthy. Push her too hard and she might collapse, though. Around her athletic build she will mostly wear whatever the occasion calls for, however she prefers it to be in any type of camouflage. Pink, black, regular. . . Whatever. She just likes the pattern. Regular shirt, some blue jeans, tennis shoes, short skirt, heels, she doesn’t have a set style. She’ll wear what she wants, when she wants.Fox Appearance;;
Eye Color: Dark brown, almost black. Changing to ice-blue.
Fur Color: Gray and Red. She's what's called a Gray Fox.
Fur Length: Short all over, except her tail is very fluffy
Fur Texture: Smooth as chinchilla fur
Size: Stands four feet high on fours, six feet on her hind legs.
Marks: A patch of pure black fur where her tattoo is.Personality;;

2. Confrontation
3. Manual Labor
4. Day Time
Flaws:
1. Sarcastic
2. Blunt
3. Uncaring
4. Depression
Summary:
Reading is one of her favorite pass times. She can just be by herself and curled up with a good read. It doesn’t even have to have a novel while she’s reading. It could be an old textbook, some history book, maybe a how-to book. . . She enjoys any kind of book. She enjoys learning new things, as she figures it just makes her better, knowing things. Though mostly it’s just a bunch of common knowledge, but at least it’s something, right? Makes watching game shows easier.
Not many people like change, but Jenna welcomes it with open arms. She knows that with her immortality she is going to see a lot of things change. Some will be more drastic than others while some will be more subtle, but she looks forward to either. She finds it interesting to see how much something can change over time and looks forward to it. The word “optimistic” comes to mind.
One of her favorite pass times is to show off her language skills by having her friends give her sentences to spew off, and she’ll say it in each of the languages she knows. Jenna’s gone so far as to read in on other people’s conversations and relay to her friends exactly what they’re saying just by reading their lips. She’s taken eavesdropping to an entirely different level, though she doesn’t ever read in just because she wants to know what they’re talking about, she just likes feeling special.
She doesn’t like to be alone. Ever. She often calls her friends just to talk, and sometimes she can be caught talking to herself if no one is around. Though when she happens to be home alone, her loneliness is usually subsided when she listens to the radio, watches a movie or the TV, though it’s not the same as having a living, breathing person living with her, so she went and got herself a bird. It knows a few phrases, so it can actually talk to herself. She loves that cockatoo to death.
Jenna cannot deal with confrontation of any kind. Even if it’s just an argument or a debate, she will usually back out of it and change the subject to something more civilized. If the person continues to pester her about the subject, she’ll answer politely and try to change the subject again, but often times she just ends up storming off. She doesn’t handle altercation well. When it comes to fights, she’ll either attempt to sneak away or smooth-talk her way out of a situation. She happens to be very cunning—thanks to her fox side.
The one thing she absolutely hates is manual labor. Heavy lifting, that kind of stuff. She’ll usually try to get other people to do it for her or make up some sort of excuse that keeps her from doing anything of the sort. She usually just stays away from that sort of work in the first place, but every once in a while something may come up and it’s at that time that she sweet-talks some guy walking by into helping her. Though she’s stronger than most human men, she still hates exerting herself too much.
You could pretty much call her a night owl. This could be because foxes are relatively nocturnal, or maybe it’s just the way she is. She is definitely not a morning person and should not be approached for any reason when she first wakes up, otherwise one could expect to be viciously scratched. She usually just sleeps during the day, anyway, unless she has to follow someone. She doesn’t like it, but someone has to the pay the bills. Even if she’s been up all day, she usually stays up late that night, if not pulling an all-nighter. She can go at least three days without sleep.
It can sometimes be hard to tell when Jenna is being serious because she is so sarcastic. It doesn’t matter who she’s talking to, she’ll say anything. Tact is not her strong point and most of the people she tells off doesn’t like what she has to say, but it’s the truth, and she doesn’t have any problem informing people of the truth. She just doesn’t care what people have to say about her, so if they decide they don’t like her because of her attitude, that’s their prerogative and she couldn’t care less.
As a child she had always been rather depressed. It was an emotion born of thinking that she wasn’t good enough to stay with her biological family. She had been told that she was adopted at a rather ripe age, so it really kind of hit her hard. However, she had gotten much better after being bitten by the fox and she had actually seemed quite happy for quite awhile. However, recently her depression has come back and seemingly doubled. It sometimes leaves her bed-ridden for days and her friends have started to worry about her, thinking she might turn to suicide, but she refuses to take any medication for it. “She doesn’t need medication for anything.”Background Check;;
Family Members:
All of her family members are dead, in her adoptive family and her biological family. Her adoptive family consisted of her mother and father, two older brothers, and one younger brother. She only knows what her adoptive parents told her, so she just knows her adoptive family was made up of a mom and dad and her twin. However, she also had a younger sister that she never heard of.
Birth Place: Born in Berlin, raised in Hesse, Germany.
Childhood: It wasn’t great. They didn’t have a whole lot growing up since there were so many people in the family, and she was adopted, so she had to live with knowing that her family wanted her twin over her and she never even found out the reason why.
Transformation: She was bitten by a fox. A very. . . big fox. That had been stalking her for quite a while and was jealous of her fiancée.
Prey: She can eat human food, but as a fox she’ll only eat something smaller than her. On her hind legs she stands about six feet and weighs 150 lbs, so any person smaller than that she will gladly eat.
Moon Tidings: She is still swayed by the moon, but she is starting to get used to things. She doesn’t particularly want to hurry into figuring this out: she has all the time in the world, and she would rather just figure it out in her own time instead of forcing itself on her and only causing herself more pain.
Other Transformation: A single bite from her fox form is all it takes. If she breaks the skin, then the person she bit will be turned. Also, the person she turns will not get the heightened senses or strength until the night of their first full moon.
History:
She was born with the name Minna Amsel in the city of Berlin, Germany. Upon her birth, her parents were blessed with two children, two twin daughters. They had originally planned on keeping them both, but when it was discovered that one of them was nearly deaf, they decided to give that one up. It was selfish, but they did not care. One mouth was easier to feed than two. They decided it was best to just pretend that Minna never existed and they disposed of any photos they may have had of the two together.
It was this deafness about her that had forced Minna to teach herself how to read lips. It was made easier by the fact that she could pretty much hear what people were saying, she would just watch the person’s mouth as they spoke, and soon she was easily picking up on what people were saying. After years of practicing this, she soon became quiet adept at reading lips to the point where she no longer had to kind of hear what they saying. She could now read lips through glass and from a certain distance. It wasn’t until she became a fox that she could move her ability from one language to another.
However, her adoptive parents were not so thoughtful. Her twin may not have known of her existence, but Minna was told when she turned 13. She knew she had a sister somewhere, and a different family, but what drove her into her depression was not knowing why her parents had given her up. Did they just not like her? Did they only want one child? There was no way they wouldn’t know that she existed. It was kind of hard to miss giving birth to two children.
As soon as she was able to, Jenna left her adoptive family. She did not search out her real parents or her sister, knowing full well that they would probably not be happy to see her, and she did not want to face them knowing that she had something wrong with her, something so wrong that her parents had not wanted to keep her. She moved out of Germany and found herself a nice man in Hungary that she just adored. The two had shared a job at a grocery store when they met, and they soon moved out to the mountains together, but there was no chance for them to be happy.
At the ripe age of twenty-two, her and her soon-to-be husband Jakab had gone out in the woods for a walk. The moon was full and they thought it to be romantic, but the mood was soon ruined when a creature leapt from the trees, fur shining a brilliant orange-red in the moonlight. It’s pelt looked like fire as the moon beamed down on it. Her fiancée had attempted to protect her from the fox—a fox that was much bigger than any fox should be—but he was quickly handled. The fox disappeared then, but unbeknownst to Minna, it remained in the shadows to watch.
Unknown to any of them, the fox had seen Minna around town often and had grown to fancy her, but Jakab had ruined any plans the fox had had to woo her, and driven by jealously he stalked them, and when the full moon came around it had been his intention all along to murder his crush’s fiancée. However, as he sat in the shadows and watched Minna break down with sadness, the long-lived depression she had always carried with her doubling, he felt wretched for having done such a thing to the one he was infatuated with and emerged from the dark. Mad with sadness, Minna didn’t even try to get away. She just started throwing anything she could get her hands on at the fox, demanding that it leave her alone.
He had no intention to, and he just approached her slowly. He wasn’t going to do anything bad to her, and instead planned on giving her the only gift he could as an apology—the gift of living forever. It only took one little nip, broken skin, and a few drops of blood, and then he was off, leaving Minna to do with her gift what she wanted. He would have stayed with her and taught her of this present, but the fox knew he would not be able to look into her eyes and see that hidden sadness with being driven insane with guilt. So, she never even learned his name.
Minna remained with her fiancée the rest of the night, never leaving by his side even when it she grew so cold that she could no longer feel any of her extremities. As morning came around, and as she neared hypothermia, she finally went into town and called for help, breaking down and sending out a rescue team to fetch her dead love. She mourned his death for a good two years, even after she had learned of her new ability. She hadn’t the slightest idea as to what was happening, but she didn’t care. All she knew was that she now turned into the very creature that had killed her beloved.
Hateful toward what she was, she isolated herself and continued to live in the same little cabin that she and Jakab had lived in, only she had thrown everything out, leaving the cabin empty and cold. Some of the more finer furniture she sold for money, but everything else was burned so she wouldn’t ever have to be reminded of the man she loved. She only ate when she absolutely couldn’t stand the starving anymore. She had thought about just letting herself starve to death, but she could not bring herself to let it happen.
A few months after her twenty-sixth birthday. She started hearing things. She had long since gotten used to the heightened senses that came with her newfound self, but this was not the same. She kept thinking that she was hearing someone talking to her, but no one was ever there and she couldn’t really hear it. It was so faint, like an echo of a thought, that she just brushed it off as her depressed mind lashing out at her. The weight of her misguided birth, the loss of her love, and then the murders she committed on the full moons had to have effected her someone.
She met up with a nomadic werewolf named Elle at one point in time and the lycan was quite worried about the creature lying on a bare carpet floor of a cabin that was falling into disrepair. They spoke briefly and Elle soon uncovered the cause of the woman’s depression and took it upon herself to help this fox in need. She taught her what she knew of her own powers, and how they were probably similar to that of a fox’s, but more importantly, the lycan told this werefox that she was not alone in this. There were others like her, and they had problems just like her.
Elated, Minna soon pulled herself out of her depression with Elle’s help. They became friends, but eventually the werewolf had to go off on her own. Elle was a traveler, and staying in one spot was not her style. She promised Minna that she would stay in touch, and that was perfectly fine with the little fox. She was feeling better about herself, she was happy, and she was finally read to move on with her life. She chose to leave the forests of Hungary decided to travel, like Elle. For a few years at a time, she lived in different places that she had always liked to see, and she stayed long enough to pick up the language before she moved on. She lived in France, Italy, Spain, Russia, and Japanese. None of the other Asian countries intrigued her as much as Japan. She stayed there the longest of the places.
Where ever she went, Minna did whatever jobs she could find. Little odd jobs, occasionally spying on people. That started out as just following people for what friends she picked up, but as her friends spoke of her skills to others, she soon found herself following more people, and now she was being paid to do it. It had started as a sort of private eye thing, but soon her clients started getting more and more intense, the jobs more and more dangerous. She never even had to advertise: her entire career was now based from word of the mouth.
In the middle of the 1900s, just after World War II, Minna decided to leave Europe and Asia and move to a different country altogether. As soon as she was able, she stowed away on a boat to America. There she lived in Florida for a while, just trying to get used to the language at first. She soon found that people weren’t too fond of her German accent, but as she continued to live in America, her German accent soon faded and was left behind. Her name was very much German, though, and some people still gave her cross looks. She didn’t like this sort of animosity coming from everyone, whereas had it only been a few people, she would have been perfectly ok with it.
Around the 80s, Minna started calling herself Jenna. By then the tensions between America and the Germans had dwindled for the most part, but she had decided that since she was practically a new person, she needed a new name, and Jenna wasn’t that far off from Minna. She moved to the west coast, staying there for the better part of her life. She enjoyed America, and decided that she would stay there for a while, traveling around in the different states. She did move to Mexico for a while, but she really didn’t like it there, so it didn’t take many years for her to move up to the United States.
She had been living in Michigan for a while, but a few months ago she moved to New York. She had never expected it to, but after about a month of living there, her depression came back full-swing and more powerful than ever. She felt as if she had lost something, but she couldn’t imagine what, so she hadn’t the slightest idea as to what was causing this horrible sadness deep within her. All her life she had been plagued with the strange echoes in her mind, but they had started to get stronger, and the louder whispers had a certain sadness resonating within them, and Jenna wondered what sort of burden her conscious carried that would cause her to feel so horrible.
The voice has gotten louder and clearer, and now Jenna can clearly define the whispers as a voice, a voice murmuring a despondent lament for someone whose name she can’t ever quite catch. Whenever Jenna attempts to communicate with this voice, it recedes, acting as if it does not want to be heard. Aggravated, Jenna has stopped caring and has started ignoring this miserable part of her, though sometimes she is racked with such a sadness that she cannot find the energy to do anything.
