Summary:
Amira was adopted when she was a little girl and part of what drew her adopted parents to choose her was her bold and charming personality. She wasn't afraid to walk right up and talk to them and give them a sweet smile. Her adopted mother loved the little girls charm and they adopted her as fast as they could. As Amira got older she became a very beautiful young woman and loved being in pictures. She photographs very well and it's made modeling apart of her life, whenever she feels like it. Her smile draws people in and she's a happy go lucky type of girl. Though her beauty is ot the average man's version. Amira is an edgy girl and loves to show it.

The only shortcomings Amira sees in herself are her kindness, temper, and her attachment to her posessions. Amira would litterally bawl if she had to give up about 90% of the things that she owns. Summary:
Amira has naturally dark hair but she bleaches it and loves to play with it. She adds extensions or wears wigs, and loves to dye it also. She has strong bone structure and white skin. Her favorite clothes to wear are...all of them. She's just as comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt as she would be in a tutu and ballet slippers. And she would actually go out in that in public. Some days she doesn't even feel like wearing shoes, so she walks around bare foot. It may not be the most hygenic thing in the world, but she's fine with that.

Summary:
If Amira could make a soundtrack to her life it would have a thousand songs on it. She lives by music and dances wherever she goes. She has no qualms about walking up to complete strangers and starting a conversation. But she does hate being told to go away or not to do something. Amira stays away from catfights (no pun intended) and love triangles. She hates drama and fighting. Violence or even harsh words just turn her away. But when she is told no, she stubborn enough to go against the advice of others and does what she wants anyway.

Amira is just a girl on a mission to save the world. Too bad for her she really doesn't know where to start. But if it was up to her, she would save every lost soul and leave everything else that is key to a normal life for later. This is why she's been fired from the only 'normal' jobs she's ever tried to keep. She puts off going to work, and ends up with no job. Childhood: Amira remembers the other children in the orphanage with her. She remembers playing hide and seek in the slightly instituionalized building and always taking up any dares the other kids gave her. She was a bold little girl and that stayed with her as she grew up.
Transformation: After being adopted unknowingly by a pair of were lions, Amira was turned by her adopted father on her 18th birthday.

History:

Amira Laila, the self proclaimed Lion Princess, was not always a creature of such beauty and passion. Her mother died when she was a baby, leaving behind a little infant girl with only a necklace with the name Amira Laila on it. She was declared a ward of the state of New York city in a time where orphanages were still popular and street urchins ran around stealing for thier livelihood. In her days at the orphanage she grew stronger and more defined. By the time Amira was 5 years old she was the 'leader' of her little pack of orphan children, and she sought out dangerous and adventurous things for them to do, like pickpocketing and chasing stray dogs.

But one day, when Amira was a little older, a nice young couple came to adopt a little girl. Amira smiled and introduced herself, standing up tall and looking them in the eye while the other girls were shy. They loved her instantly and adopted her as quickly as they could. Her new parents asked her is she wanted to change her last name to match thiers, but Amira said no. "I'm Amira Laila and there's nobody else in the world like me. I don't want to change at all." And so, at 8 years old, Amira found a new life.

Over the nect few years some very strange things went on in her new family's household. Amira saw that sometimes her parents ate raw meat. And they had a strange obsession with the cycles of the moon. She thought that maybe they were witches, but eventually the truth was revealed to her. On her 13th birthday Steven and Ashley Hardt sat thier daughter down and told her everything. They were were lions and maybe someday, if she waited long enough and decided she would like to be the same way, they would make her like them.

The next years of Amira's life were consumed on trying to make the decision. she asked her parents countless questions about their lycanthropy and studied the behavior of lions intently. Of course she finished school in the process, with more than a few calls from the principal. Amira's intensly independant and straightforward attitude tended to make people think she was a little wild. But she was still that same little girl with the same opinion of herself. She didn't want to change who she was and she wouldn't let anyone get in her way.

On her 18th birthday party, Amira's parents offered her their world. She could be like them and experiance life in a completely different way. By now Amira knew what it would mean if she said yes. And she thought it would be kick ass to be a lion. Her parents were proud that the little girl they adopted wanted to be like them, and her father changed her. When she became a were lion, a new world opened up.

Amira went throught the next 40 years or so happy with her parents. as technology started developing, her parents learned about it and created a company that produced the latest devices and sometimes they used her input for thier products. This inspired Amira. she saw how the things they did affected lives of people around the nation, and she wanted to have that same motivation. But Amira wanted to change more than just technology. She wanted to save homeless children and help people heal their wounds. She wanted to end suffering and create new ideas. Amira wanted to change the world.

And with that goal in mind, she set out to be an independant woman. She found her own place and stared hanging out in the underground in the city. It was the perfect place for a girl like her. This place was full of the revolutionaries and idealists that thought like her. They spent hours discussing theories and ways of life. They became her friends. And as the times changed and the music and people grew into new ideas and new cultures emerged, Amira was there involved with it all. She loved watching the next wave of punk ass kids with big dreams come through and she did whatever she could to help them. In fact if you walk around New York's darker alleys you can sometimes catch the sound of bass pulsing at a rave the Amira planned. She's still around, trying to change the world.
