Running atop the buildings was invigorating. Trix's senses were so alive and active compared to her more dull human senses. In a were's human form their senses were much more advanced than the usual human, but in a were's true form, whether they're a wolf or otherwise, their senses are ten times more potent. Even on top of such high buildings, the female was able to hear the vermin scurrying around the alleyways, smell their foul stench and even see them as they ran in fear. It was an awe-filled experience and she couldn't wait until they reached the forest.
It didn't take long for the duo to reach Kody's forest. It was beautiful, so green and open. The scent of fresh pine wafted to her sensitive nostrils and overpowered the scent of pollution that permeated the city. It was rare for Trix to be in a true forest. For the most part, Trix ran in Central Park whenever the need became to great to ignore. She was definitely gonna let her enjoy herself.
Her previous question resurfaced when Kody's soft words brushed lightly at her mind. She could have guessed as much. With as fluid as his transistion had been, Kody would have either had to be a pureblood or an elder. Trix wasn't surprised.
'You enjoy the pain?' she thought back, quirking her brow in his direction. It was a difficult concept for Trix to grasp. Whenever she shifted into her true form, the pain took her back to the day she'd been turned. The jagged scars that ran diagonally down her back burned horribly, almost as if they were fresh. Then again, Kody was a pureblood. He didn't have to be turned. He had just been...born. He grew up with the pain, accepted it and embraced it. Trix doubted she would be able to do that, even after a couple more centuries. 'I've never been one for pain myself,' she thought, giving a small shrug with her large shoulders.
When the fae turned her golden brown eyes to Kody, a laugh bubbled up. On the floor of the forest, Kody was wallowing in the dirt and grass. Trix had never seen a werewolf do somethin like that, but she definitely understood the feeling. Her chuckle passed through their mind link, and a smile, if you could call it a smile, formed on her muzzle. As the male spoke, Trix nodded. 'On this matter, I can easily agree with you.'
Trix looked around their surroundings, an excitement forming in the pit of her belly. It was time for the fun to begin. With a devilish, yet playful, smile the female wolf lunged forward and tagged the larger male on his shoulder before sprinting off in a random direction. 'Can you catch me?' she asked, her voice full of laughter and teasing as she commenced the oldest, most traditional game of all time. Tag. ---- ooc: Not at all. I liked it. ^^ [/blockquote]

He looked at her as she lunged forward. Tagging him on the shoulder before she sprinted off to the right of him. She asked in a mocking tone if he could catch her and he smiled. When she ran he ran after her. Keeping her within his sights but not catching her yet.
"I'm gonna getcha, I'm gonna getcha..."
They had been running in this same direction for a matter of minutes before he was within a tails length of her body. Forcing all his strength into his feet he leaped and managed to tackle her. Their bodies rolling along the grass and pine needles as they finally came to a stop. Kody, with his superior weight put a single paw on her stomach, showing that he dominated her right now.
"You know! I am sure your faster than that. I think you let me win... Your slender and shorter, well, I guess I could be faster than you. I do take larger strides.."
He smiled through his muzzle and then rubbed her belly with it. His wet tongue coming up to lick at her face several times, before he lifted his paw up off her than sat down beside her. Watching her as her belly was still exposed to him.
"Are you hungry? I smell.. something.. I think its a deer..."
His stomach grumbled in protest at the smell of meat. Fresh meat that would steam and bleed in his mouth. It sounded so pleasurable that he actually opened his mouth and a small bit of slobber fell off his lip. With silent foot steps and not even waiting for her to answer he moved off in silent steps. Scaling a small distance in a few strides as he peaked through some bushes to spot a rather large buck with his mental link he spoke.
"Ambush him? He looks so delicious.."
A impressive rack this one had and he looked like he was thick with muscle that would taste good in between his teeth. The taste of fresh blood on his muscle, warm as it slipped down his throat. The thought was exciting and he couldn't wait till she answered back or took advantage of the position he was in.

The female were bobbed and weaved through the dense trees, her golden eyes glancing back every once in awhile to see how close Kody was following. The male kept a reasonable distance at first, and made it appear like she was pressenting a challenge. Bellatrix knew better. Thinking on it, Trix was sure Kody was fully capable of running her down. Sure she was more agile and flexible due to her smaller size, but he was larger. His legs were able to make bigger strides than hers. In fact, every one of his steps equaled two of her own. Trix was amazed that their little game was lasting as long as it was; she was sure he'd have tackled her by now. Speaking of which....
An 'umph' escaped the fae as Kody's larger body made contact with her own. Her feminine chuckle passed between their mind link, as the two wolves went flying to the ground. The leaves and pine needle made crunching noises as they rolled to a stop. As you would have expected, Trix was on the bottom and Kody was on top with his large hand pressing down on her belly. 'You cheated,' she said, through her laughter. The fae tried to sit up, but Kody's hand restrained her. By now, it was quite obvious who was the dominant one.
Trix's smile, still present, was bright as Kody gave a few tender licks to her face. As he situated himself beside her, the fae sat up and returned a few licks of her own. At Kody's soft words, she lifted her slender muzzle to the air and inhaled. A deer was close by, a male. Her attention returned to Kody as he inched his way over to a few bushes, confirming what their sensitive nostrils told them.
'Mmm, I am hungry,' she thought, her mouth beginning to water at the thought of a hunt. It had been awhile since she had truly hunted and an excitement had settle over her. Trix stood, but rather than join the male, she crept around on all fours and got into a flanking position. Her golden gaze was trained on the unsuspecting deer and was ready to pounce. A few seconds ticked by and then, she leapt. Trix let out a loud roar and made a few half-hearted swipes at the buck, making the male deer run away in fear...right into Kody's awaiting hands.
She followed the deer only to make sure it didn't wander off in another direction.

She flanked the deer and drew it right into his grasp. Right before it was going to run past him he leaped out. Tackling it with his superior strength and weight. His muzzle opening wide as he grasped its neck with his own teeth. Quickly bringing it to the ground as he snapped its next and died quickly under his bite. The warm blood filled his mouth as he ripped out a hunk of meat from its throat. That large muzzle of his parting from the neck as he dug into the flesh. Leaving ample room for her to get into it.
It was only a matter of a half a second and his muzzle was buried deep into the flesh. As he pulled out it was covered with the warm liquid blood. His long tongue coming out to lick his lips, after taking only a few bites of the blood he merely started to lick at the at the bloody meat. Enjoying the warm blood as it ran down his throat. The taste of meat hot off the bone and blood still warm from the fresh kill it was the tastiest thing ever.
"Mhm.. Blood, its what really gives the meat its flavor..."
After taking a few more licks of the bloody meat he went right back to tearing into it. It was such a lovely taste he was feeling higher now. It had been so long since he had actually tore into somethings flesh. Feeling it die underneath his muzzle, then tasting the blood from the last few beats of its heart. It was beautiful and it was beautiful only in the eyes of these two wolves.
"Eat... eat to your hearts content..."
He echoed a bit in her mind. His face buried deep into his kill, leaving half the deer for her to tear into.

Trix followed the unsuspecting buck closely, knowing exactly what the deer's fate was. Kody would jump out from behind his bush and tackle the deer to the ground, ripping out its throat in the process. It was a strategy that had been ingrained into them since the beginning. It was extremely natural to them.
The female's golden eyes watched as Kody burst through the bushes and land his large body on top of the buck. Trix slowed her stride until she came to a halt beside the black were. Kody ripped at the carcas and the scent of blood drifted to her nose.
Giving into her primal hunger, Trix dropped down beside the male and sank her long canines into the dead deer's fleshy side. Like Kody, she ripped and tore through muscle, taking large chucks meat with each of her bites. It didn't take her long to sate her hunger. The fae sat up from the half eaten carcas and licked at the blood coating her muzzle and chest. 'Mmm, delicious,' she commented, sitting back for Kody to devour the rest.
The buck's dark blood still coated Trix's dark fur and a hint of annoyance entered her mind. This was the main reason she chose not to hunt. It took forever to get the blood out of her fur. ---- ooc: Sorry, it's a bit crappy. I did it in a hurry. ^^;

He continued to devour the buck and ripping out several more chunks and giving them a brief chew he swallowed them. Finally he was finished, once he finished he walked over to Trix and his tongue whipped out from between his teeth. To lick the blood off her muzzle and some of it that had managed to get on her chest. Once he cleaned most of the blood from her fur he looked up to the moon. It was far from full, and he couldn't wait till the day that was full, the night being a wolf felt even better than it usually did.
"So, what would you like to do now Trix?"
He asked as he continued to lick the dried remains of blood off his muzzle. Savoring the salty copper flavor. It was delicious, Trix didn't know but he had acquired the taste for blood long ago when he had a vampire family.
"'You know I grew up with vampires.. I acquired their taste for blood when I lived with them. I finally managed to get away from them when I was thirteen.. Its when I learned the cold hard truth of how they had acquired me in the first place..
Kody almost hissed the words into her mind as he stood mere feet from her. Looking up at the moon intently as he started to speak again.
"They'd killed my entire family and spared me. How kind they were right? Mother, father, brother, sister, never even knew em..."
Giving a brief sigh he slowly laid down, his head resting on his paws as he thought about them. Never knew them, only thing he knew was those damn vampires that made him acquire their taste for blood. They mostly kept him in a cell and when the moon turned full they'd chain him down to the ground with as many chains they could muster. He wasn't allowed to transform when ever he wanted too, only during the full moon when the urge was too great.
"Whats your story Trix?"
Of course his story was far from over. His life was full of suffering and the only good parts of it was when he was in love. Although all of them they died one way or another and each death or suicide was still fresh as the day they expired.
"The short version of my life, you heard my younger days. I've killed people, I've had several girl friends most of which either died or committed suicide. Its been a harsh life but I live it to the best I can.

Trix's golden gaze wandered around their surroundings as Kody sated his hunger. All was quiet now. The other animals that had been present a few moments ago had run away in fear of being the dessert and were long gone now. It was just the two of them now. The wolfess let out a sigh of relief when Kody rid her fur of the excess blood. It was sweet of him and she appreciated it greatly.
When he spoke, Trix shrugged her broad shoulders. 'We could go for another run,' she offered, cocking her head to the side in thought. 'Or we could play another round of tag...' The fae let her words trail off as the male's words drifted into her mind again. It was more likely that they were going to have a talk before they did anything else.
Sorrow began to work it's way into her heart as she listened intently to Kody's story. His life was a sad thing. He didn't even have memories of his family to keep him going. They had been taken from him too early in life. Trix's heart ached for him.
'I'm sorry Kody,' she said, not knowing what else to say. What could she say? She didn't know how it felt to be held captive or how it felt to not know your family. The female sat closer to Kody and brushed her arm against his. A small comfort.
'My human years were wonderful,' she began, a small sigh escaping. 'I had two awesome parents that loved and cherished me and my sister. My sister, Kathrine, was annoying, but loving at the same time. We were...happy.'
Trix paused as the memories of her family flashed through her mind and shared the images with Kody. Her sister's smiling, youthful face; her parents wise and loving expressions...
'When I was twenty-four, I was out shopping at...eleven, I think when I was attacked.' she thought, trying to remember the exact details. 'From what I understand now, the were was going through his first transformation and lost control of himself. So, more or less, he went on a killing spree. He struck me across my back,' she thought, raising her arm to show where he had hit her, 'I was lucky to have survived, especially with the amount of blood I had lost.'
Again, Trix paused as the memories flooded her mind. She closed her eyes and could almost see everything that had happened. Laying in the hospital bed with IV's hooked up to her arms. Another sigh escaped.
'Long story short, I stayed with them until people started to notice that I wasn't aging like everyone else. I packed a small bag with a few essentials and left. Just like that. They never saw me again until it was time for them to move on to the next world.' Her eyes filled with unshed tears as she recalled all of their last moments. With her new abilities it had been easy to sneak in to see them. Each of them, her mother, father, and sister, had thought that she was there to help them over to the "other side". A guardian angel of sorts. She didn't argue with them.
'I held each of them as they passed and once a year I visit them,' she paused as she willed her tears away. 'So, here I am. I run a small cafe in a bookstore and, for the most part, I'm alone.'
Trix chuckled as she tried to laugh off the sad atmosphere. With a thump, the werewolf laid on her back and started the watch the moon and the stars. --- ooc: Sorry this took so long. I've been finishing up some last minute work. Hopefully in the next two days I'll be able to get on more regularly.

Her arm brushed against his as a sign of comfort. As then he listened to her tell about her life Her human life where she enjoyed time with her family, how she was turned and how she had watched her family die of old age while she stayed the same. It was a sad story and one that could equally match is. The thoughts and faces of her family flashed through his mind the few that she held close to her, then as her attack came and went he also saw it all through her eyes. Her story ended with a sad laugh, her body flipping over to her back as she watched the moon and stars. Kody soon doing the same thing.
"I'm a love addict. I'm the happiest when I'm with someone, but they've all died. One girl friend put a 50 cal bullet through her head, another was murdered in cold blood, one died of disease, some of them just disappeared off the face of the earth..."
His voice faded off as he pictured the thoughts, briefly one of each. The gaping hole that was his ex, the one crippled from disease and another murdered in cold blood. The most terrific of them all was the suicidal one, the one that he had dug the grave himself, even itched out the grave stone with a single wolf claw.
"I've went through depression, alcoholism, drugs, I even cut myself at one point. Each scar marked across my wrist with silver to remember them with. So no matter how old I get I'll always have that memory of them etched into my skin.."
His voice faded off again as he grew quiet. Getting lost in the stars and moon. Letting it suck him in and take him to another place far far away. A beautiful place where no worries or women or anything could get to him. A happy place, a better place, one he knew that wasn't anywhere in this world. It was physically impossible, only death could bring about such a place.
"I'm a loner, I got two vehicles, three actually. A Harley, one of those new camaro's, and a old Mustang fast back. That is the best thing that has came out of my life.."
He let out a light laugh as a image of each car passed through her mind in detail. A black camaro with a gray stripe running down the middle, and the wonderful leather sits. His harley which was back at the club, last and least his pride and joy mustang. Which had many hidden compartments filled to the brim with weapons of all kinds.
"You can never be too prepared.."
He laughed again smiling gently the best he could in this form as he continued to stare at the stars.
occ: Its cool, take your time there is no rush what so ever.

The edges of her muzzle quirked in a small smile. 'You're the hero type,' she said, off-handedly. Trix wasn't all that surprised, actually. To begin with she had had a feeling about him and could tell from his actions that he was the perfect gentleman. A small chuckle escaped. 'I had a feeling you were,' she added, turning her head to rest her golden gaze on his face. 'You end up falling for the girl with the most underlying problems and try to fix them and help them through whatever it is they're going through,' she explained. 'Even, though, deep down you know it's gonna end badly. Your heart over rules your mind.'
It was a sweet, rare trait to have, but from what Trix could tell, it only seemed to hurt him. It was sad to hear of his past loves and how their relationships ended so horribly. Her heart ached for him. All she wanted to do now was to wrap Kody in a blanket of security and warmth and hide him away from the cruelties of the world. Someone like Kody shouldn't have had to face the trajedies that he had; he was too kind and loving.
His last statement was a bit of a shock. 'My god, why on Earth would you need so many weapons? I don't even own one,' she said, laughing. --- ooc: Thanks for understanding. ^^

He listened to her as she spoke. She had him down as if he were a thing you could read about. Kody felt like she knew more about him then he did. Her golden eyes rested on him as she continued to speak it was amazing how intelligent she was and really he had no idea how old she was but he wanted to guess at least a hundred since she said she'd watched other family members already die off. After she had him down like a book she then ended it with something funny, asking him why he would ever need that many guns.
"Why? Cause you never know when there is gonna be a battle. I've killed my share of humans, vamps, and even my own kind that have tried to kill me. There useful and they always come in handy in the tightest of situations."
Still his baby blues gazed into the skies. Still looking at the beauty of the stars, ones that he couldn't see in New York. With all the light pollution you couldn't see one single star.Laying in this form he could slowly hear the animals as they became more comfortable with the two beings. The birds flying in the tree's the squirrels and rabbits coming out of their holes. Getting a feel that both the beings were full and no longer looking for food they started to move again. Kodies body still laid on his back as he gazed into the sky just lost in the mass of it all.
"Love's a light that burns through everything it touches. God only knows how many holes I have on my body."
He stated out loud, his heart was too willing to love. That is all he really wanted in life. He could live without food, without shelter with out everything he really needed to actually live, he just wanted love. The warm feeling two people got when they shared a connection. The physical embrace of holding someone while laying on a bed, the mental connection you both shared as you both knew in that instance nothing mattered in the world except right now. It was lovely and better than any sex he'd ever had.

Trix's amber eyes were still fixed on Kody's face as he spoke. His tone seemed almost sad and knowing that he was upset, pained her. Kody was the type of person that seemed to bring out the good in people and he looked out for others and their needs. He was kind, funny...To see him so sad was wrong. As far as the female were was concerned, Kody was one of those people that deserved laughter every day.
After a few moments more of observing the male's features, Trix followed his line of sight and rested her gaze on the clear, night sky. 'I used to be like that,' she said. 'In my human years, I couldn't wait to find that one person who I could spend the rest of my life with.'
She gave a small shrug as she continued. 'However, when I was turned, all that was put on the back burner. Now, I'm looking for that person who won't get bored with me so fast. You've gotta admit, living and loving someone for a couple of centuries gets to be monotonous,' she said, almost as if she didn't believe her own words. Trix closed her eyes for a moment, picturing what it'd be like to go home to someone rather than the same old empty apartment. She'd love to be able to spend centuries with someone, but she hadn't quite found that someone yet. In fact, all of the immortals she'd run into advised against it, saying that it got boring after awhile. Eventually, they'd run off.
Trix hadn't given up hope yet, though. With as long as she'd live, the fae was sure that she'd find someone who could love her and not "get bored". It was just a matter of finding them...

She was a knowning person and the look she gave to him meant that she cared. Her words passed carelessly through his ears as he listened to her. Saying that she used to be like that in her humans years but ever since she became a werewolf that she had cared less to find a mate. Sadly, he had been looking for one for years and all of them had died or left. God only knew what happened to them and he took her words to heart then spoke to her his own.
"I'll never get bored no matter who I am with. There is so much to do in this world, so many things we can experience and there is no time limit to do it. We could walk across Europe and taste all the foods. Fish on the Pacific or Scuba Dive around the Coral Reef. The world is our playground and we have hundreds of years to use every last toy and ride.. Who has time to get bored?"
He smiled knowingly that what he said was true. As his werewolf face looked over to her. His eyes filled with sorrow but outlining them was the adventure and happiness that he had once felt in his youth. Fournately he had been able to travel around a lot. Rather he ran, drove, or simply stowed away somewhere. He wanted to explore the world when he was younger finally managing able to get away from the vampires at the young age of tweleve and now he was eighteen in human years but had long since stopped maturing when he grew to his teens. He'd stay this way for a while until he matured in his late eighties or perhaps hundreds.
"People mistake my age all the time. I am wise way beyond my years. The events that have happened in my life made me mature faster than my body. It's sad I lost my innocence far before I should have."
His face looked away from hers and back up into the stars. The depths of face, who knew what was going to happen? The hundreds of years to come, they could end up exploring space even deeper. A vampire could go on a space mission to where ever cause he had nothing but time on his hands. They could give him nothing but blood and he was sure to surivive for a long time even without it he would survive for several years.

As his words sank in, a small grin formed on her muzzle. She believed him. From what she knew of him, which wasn't much, Trix already believed that Kody was different. He was one of those males that actually cared and really wanted to be in a relationship. It was a breath of fresh air, honestly.
'I know,' she thought, giving Kody a sideways glance. He was mature, that was for sure. Most were's at his age, were all about having fun and not caring about the future; they had centuries before they really needed to grow up. They hadn't been through the hardships that he had been through. Kody had seen the evil in the world at an early age and was forced to leave his childhood behind without even living it. It was a sad, unfortunate thing, but Kody wouldn't be who he was if those horrible things hadn't happened.
'I'm sorry, Kody,' she said. 'I'm sorry you had to endure what you went through. No one should have to live through such things.' ---

Kody merely nodded with her agreement that he was mature. Then merely nodded again as she said that she was sorry and that what he had endured he never should of had to. Still he did nothing more but peer up into the stars. The place went completely silent as even the animals seemed to do the same thing, the crickets being more gentle as they played their own little tune on their legs.
"Don't be sorry Trix..."
Was all he could think to say at the moment as he still stared up at the stars not sure what else to say to her. While he breathed more gently then slowly looked over to her.
"So.. what do you want to do now Trix?"
He asked her as he continued to stare over at her. Getting a little bored just laying here and looking up at the stars. Kody wanted something more exciting to do. His body scooting across the grass as he finally made contact with her body and his long pink tongue started to come out and lick her fur mostly her face.

The silence was deafening to the fae. An awkwardness had settled over the two were's and made Trix want to go for another run. They had just spilled their guts out to one another, things that they probably wouldn't have told anyone, especially to people the weren't well acquainted with. It was odd how easily she trusted the male were beside her when she hardly trusted herself.
Her bright, amber eyes glanced to the side, and wandered over Kody's face for a few moments before returning her gaze to the stars. He seemed to sure of himself, so confident. Trix wished she could feel that way about herself. He knew what he wanted, and he went for it. No questions asked. Perhaps it was time for a change.
As Kody's words reached her ears, the female turned her gaze to his bright blue eyes. A small chuckle passed her lips. Trix propped herself up on one elbow and leaned down to run her tongue along Kody's forehead before she stood. Straightening herself, the chocolate colored werewolf shook out her fur."Come on," she said, extending her hand to him. "I knew you'd get bored eventually," she chuckled. "Let's go for another run." The playful twinkle re-entered her amber eyes, and her lips formed a wide smile. "This time, though, I'm gonna win!" [/blockquote]
