When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ Having found comfort in his embrace, she lay down upon him and embraced him back, settling into a comfortable position. The thought that he had worn her out made him smile too, as it helped his ego believe that he had been if not the best, at least one of the best she'd ever had. From what he knew, that was Daktari and Trey, but it depended on which way you looked at it. Daktari was brutal and hardly loving, Trey would have been all lovey dovey and the sensitive type. Urjasz liked to think he'd been the right dose for her and he began to stroke her hair gently as she lay upon him silently. It would be so easy for him to nod off to sleep right there and then. He had nowhere to be and he'd hardly slept the night before. Malakai could be back for all he knew but he had no intention on going to have a look any time soon. It wasn't long until he wondered if he'd done something bad. Would she want him to commit now? Being the type to like being his own, he would normally say no, but recently he had noticed changes in himself. A favourite saying of his came to mind. He was in danger of becoming a good man. ANASTASIA KIRILOVNA MARISOVA → IT'S HARD TO SEE THE PAIN BEHIND THE MASK BEARING THE BURDENSHE STANDS HARD AS A STONE IN A WORLD THAT SHE CAN'T RISE ABOVE ← Since Anastasia had met him, she hadn’t ever heard him be quiet like this. Usually he was talking about something, going on about one thing or another or asking her questions, but through the entire event he hadn’t said a whole lot to her, and that he was silent now was a little strange for the young blonde. However, she wasn’t exactly complaining. What was there to say, anyway? She was quite content to lay there with the man she’d just slept with—and odd saying since they technically didn’t do any sleeping the entire time. Are you guys going to fall asleep? Really? Guh. You’re hungry again. And thirsty. But yeah whatever. . . you haven’t been this. . . hmm. . . content in a while. Nice distraction, this. But it wasn’t so bad. . . see what happens when you just let things happen? You have fun, and nobody gets hurt. It’s really not that big of deal, isn’t it? the voice rambled, obviously a little wound up after the tryst. Slowly, Anastasia opened her eyes and looked up at Urjasz, wondering if he was asleep. Somehow she didn’t think he was. “Urjasz. . . ah. . . I was lying when. . . I said I wasn’t hearing voices. . . well. . . it’s just one. . . so I guess. . . I wasn’t really lying. . . .” There was silence for a second, and then You little twerp. You’re not supposed to tell him!

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ Stirring on top of him, she came back to life and he shifted his head slightly so he was facing her. The silence had been fairly nice, both content with the company of each other. News that he had expected yet not wanted to hear was delivered in a slow and awkward speech. Biting the inside of his bottom lip gently, he sighed slowly. What was he to do? Presented with quite a problem, he lifted her chin so she could look straight into his eyes. "Then it important that I stay here and give you another voice to listen to in all the hard times that may come. You need to learn which instructions it gives you to accept and which to ignore. You are the master of your body; not the voice within. Find something that you both enjoy and it will be likely to fall under your control without you having to sacrifice your life for it."

ANASTASIA KIRILOVNA MARISOVA → IT'S HARD TO SEE THE PAIN BEHIND THE MASK BEARING THE BURDENSHE STANDS HARD AS A STONE IN A WORLD THAT SHE CAN'T RISE ABOVE ← Anastasia looked up at Urjasz when he tilted her head back, the expression on his face and the way he sighed making her wonder if this really was worse than she had thought it was. It’s never a good thing to hear voices talking to you, Anastasia. Now he’s going to want to get rid of me, and all I want to do is help you help yourself, the voice reasoned, sounding absolutely sincere. “Then it important that I stay here and give you another voice to listen to in all the hard times that may come. You need to learn which instructions it gives you to accept and which to ignore. You are the master of your body; not the voice within. Find something that you both enjoy and it will be likely to fall under your control without you having to sacrifice your life for it,” Urjasz explained, their gazes meeting. Anastasia felt it a little bit easier to hold his gaze now than it had been—such was the sign of someone submissive; the inability to hold eye-contact—before. At that time she was far beneath him, but now she felt like he held her in a little bit more high regards.
The small blonde nodded her head and gave Urjasz a small smile. “I’ll try. . . ,” she replied, a little daunted by what he said. “It hasn’t ever. . . tried to get me to do anything. . . drastic, I guess. Just some advice. . . and a few commentaries. . . .” Mostly it had just been kind of annoying, but at times it really did like to give her a new spin on a situation, calm her fears. . . . It was the voice of reason now that Kyla was gone. . . . Maybe that was why it had manifested. I wish you two would stop referring to me as an “it.” I am very much feminine! And could you refrain from talking about me as if I’m not here? I mean really I am here. I can hear everything you guys are saying. Tell him I really enjoyed riding him, would you? Nah, you’re not going to. Anastasia sighed quietly to herself, but didn’t relay any of this to Urjasz. There was really no need to, and she figured the less she let it—her—interact with the outside world the less she enabled it.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ Whilst he spoke, he could already see a sign of her growing confidence. Through his entire small speech she had kept eye contact with him, something she had never done before. There was always a good side to being turned and he had to make sure the Anastasia he had always liked remained in their somewhere whilst helping maintain this new confidence. The only time he had seen it before was in the park. Even when she had killed Daktari, be it with his help, she had been a nervous wreck. The fact he never took credit for that kill had made him realise how much he respected her even though he had never truly thought her cut out for the immortal life. Both had not been given the choice but he knew once he came to terms with it, it has been a blessing. Her change had simply been.....with held. Kissing her on the forehead, he returned to retain her gaze, loving the way she looked at him. "Keep it that way and we'll have ourselves an easy job. My only concern is that you were this confident in the park. An event that you would not normally take part in. An event you claim not to remember. Tell me. Does the voice speak in broken Russian? You hear me in there voice? She will control you. You take her from me and I'll take her from you." Realising that he was sounding rather murderous, he kissed her once more and smiled. "Not that it'd come to that mind. I just like to have a plan Z ready in case all the other 25 plans don't work. Let us not have to ever use plan Z. As rubbish as it sounds, that's my own plan should I ever loose control. And my wolf knows it. For it to live, I need to. Same goes to your hyena."

You hear me in there voice? She will control you. You take her from me and I'll take her from you,” Urjasz replied, scaring Anastasia a little. If the voice had a face, her eyes would have been rolling. This guy likes to hear the sound of his own voice, doesn’t he? I have no interest in taking over. Goodness gracious he needs to calm down. I am quite content with merely popping in now and again whenever you need a little boost. . . . Anastasia sighed quietly to herself again, thinking about his question that he had first said—something about broken Russian—and that the answer was no. Why would it speak in broken Russian but have complete sentences when speaking? Well these are thoughts. I don’t think in a language. You merely understand what I’m saying. I may even be thinking in pure Russian, you just can’t tell because. . . well, it’s thinking. You don’t think in incomplete sentences, do you? It had a point, like it normally did.
Anastasia shook her head slightly. “She doesn’t. . . she’s not really. . . speaking in the first place, is she?” Anastasia relayed in a shorter means. She wondered if her voice tended to like hearing her own thoughts as well. Sometimes. Urjasz kissed Anastasia’s forehead and she continued to cuddle against him. She had missed this kind of attention and had forgotten how good it felt to be wanted and cared about. “Not that it'd come to that mind. I just like to have a plan Z ready in case all the other 25 plans don't work. Let us not have to ever use plan Z. As rubbish as it sounds, that's my own plan should I ever lose control. And my wolf knows it. For it to live, I need to. Same goes to your hyena,” he continued. This was more like the Urjasz she knew. . . talkative to a T. She didn’t mind. . . she didn’t talk a whole lot, so someone had to take up the silence or else nothing would ever happen and no one would ever talk about anything. She looked up at him and tilted her head to the side. “What’s Plan Z, then?” she asked tentatively, as if she really didn’t want to know. Yes. . . what is Plan Z?

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ Before he had so many questions he wanted to ask about how she was coping with it all and what the changes were like but he could only find himself drawing up blanks for now. It was always the way. The moment he needed to ask something important it would decide to take a walk somewhere. "She? Sounds like you've got to know this voice well in advance." His wolf was just that, his wolf. Not he. And it was hardly like the wolf was his pet. It was part of him and therefore it was him. "The creature inside will always find a way to control you in some way. That's why the newly turned tend to wolf out monthly without control. Controlling your shifts is the first step. If it can control you, there is a way to control it. Everyone is different and we just have to find out which way is for you."Plan Z was mentioned and he looked her dead in the eyes, pausing for a long moment. Placing his finger to his neck, he slowly mimicked a blade cutting his throat. "I live, it lives. It wants to take over by force, then I take the only thing it ever wants. And it can see my thoughts so it knows I'm not bullshitting." Deciding that he wanted to see what extent the voice controlled her, he set up a test. "Tell me, can your voice take over? If you let it. I want to see if you can force it back in. If not, look at how things change within as you change. There will be a feeling in your mind like when people read your mind. You might of felt an odd feeling around Kyla when she had been turned. Same with Zakhar. That link to your mind works in the same way this voice does. Two separate minds in one."

ANASTASIA KIRILOVNA MARISOVA → IT'S HARD TO SEE THE PAIN BEHIND THE MASK BEARING THE BURDENSHE STANDS HARD AS A STONE IN A WORLD THAT SHE CAN'T RISE ABOVE ← “She? Sounds like you've got to know this voice well in advance,” Urjasz commented. Anastasia sat up slightly, sitting on her knees, and looked down at her hands sheepishly, shaking her head slightly. “She—ah—complained about us talking about ‘her’ as ‘it’ and told me off. . . ,” she replied meekly, embarrassed slightly. She didn’t know why she was embarrassed by this. . . probably because it wasn’t normal practice in the human world to talk about the voices in your head. Usually the people on TV who did it were all twitchy and talking about insane conspiracy theories and whatnot, and that the voices were telling them that they needed to burn down one building or another. Neither of which was the case for her, of course. It—she just tended to explain and talk about things. And of course throw her weight around when Anastasia was in a moment of weakness. And it has always only been for your own good! In fact, I don’t even have to talk to you. You would never know I was here if I didn’t and I could just go on taking over whenever you started being too pathetic for your own good.
The small blonde chose to ignore the voice like she did, but she knew it was very well true. In cases of dissociative identity disorder, they were never aware of their other personality, even if the other personality was aware of them. This was more. . . schizophrenic dissociative identity disorder—if there was such a thing. It was the schizos that heard voices. They didn’t have split personalities like dissociatives. “Tell me, can your voice take over? If you let it. I want to see if you can force it back in. If not, look at how things change within as you change. There will be a feeling in your mind like when people read your mind. You might of felt an odd feeling around Kyla when she had been turned. Same with Zakhar. That link to your mind works in the same way this voice does. Two separate minds in one,” Urjasz suggested. Anastasia looked over at him with surprise, her brows furrowed. Was that really a good idea? Oh yes. I could if you let me. . . I can’t if you don’t, but I can if you’re having a panic attack like you were when you were shot. . . . Anastasia looked at her hands. “But I don’t know what happened in the park. . . if I don’t remember that time, won’t I not remember this time?”

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ Urjasz was glad that Anastasia couldn't read minds as he was trying to recall his own start in this life and it was so long ago he was struggling. All he could remember was the constant pain and suffering he endured, both mentally and physically. After going to Kaja for help, he was even more torn inside. His change had killed her and he spent years hating himself for what he was. It was only when he accidentally killed someone that he merged with the beast for the first time. Something that wouldn't work for Anastasia as Daktari had previously tried it. The loss of her close friend had triggered it and it was then that he realised what brought it about now. But first he wanted to answer her question. "It's common to have black outs when you shift on the full moons so I can only assume that it would be the same for a switch of personality. Learn to control the shifts and you'll learn to control the personality."Thinking over his new thought, he decided it would be best to discuss it as well, even if the voice in her could hear it. "The voice came after Kyla's death, not before right? And you black out when in trouble. My theory is that your new friend knows all too well that you're her lifeline. Keeping you alive is only way she can keep herself alive. When you freeze in a combat situation, she forcefully takes over. Let me meet her and I'll hear from her herself. For this one time, let her take over." He knew this ran a risk of increasing the strength of her beast, but it was the only way he'd know for sure. It was better to befriend the creature inside than make an enemy of it; it might be of its mind but it was of Anastasia's body. To draw a blade against it would stab his own heart.

ANASTASIA KIRILOVNA MARISOVA → IT'S HARD TO SEE THE PAIN BEHIND THE MASK BEARING THE BURDENSHE STANDS HARD AS A STONE IN A WORLD THAT SHE CAN'T RISE ABOVE ← Urjasz seemed to think this over for a second, or think something over at least. Anastasia waited patiently for a moment, then tilted her head to the side as he began to speak. For now she was quite unaware that she was completely naked still, too caught up in the conversation they were in to really care all that much. Besides. . . they had just got done screwing each other so she really shouldn’t have been all that bothered by it, but this was Anastasia, after all. Eventually she’d realize and try to cover up, but for the time being she’d remain as she was. “It's common to have black outs when you shift on the full moons so I can only assume that it would be the same for a switch of personality. Learn to control the shifts and you'll learn to control the personality,” Urjasz reasoned. Anastasia could argue with that logic and she nodded her head, looking back down at her hands. “Okay. . . I’ll try I guess. . . it doesn’t work that well. . . all the time. . . . Kyla—was trying to teach me. . . when we were attacked,” she murmured quietly, wringing her hands sadly.
Again Urjasz asked if he could speak with the other person and Anastasia looked up at him dubiously. She didn’t even know if she could let her out on command. She seemed harmless enough for the most part, just wanting to help—even if it did only further her own agenda of living like Urjasz mentioned—so what harm could it do? But could she even let her out? All you have to do is close your eyes, clear your mind, and step back, the voice instructed with a hint of excitement in the tone. Obviously she wouldn’t have gotten out very often—there had been a lack of trouble in the girl’s life since Kyla had died, bar the situation in the park—so naturally she would be glad to get out. “Ah. . . okay,” Anastasia replied quietly, taking a deep breath and doing as the voice had told her to. She tried to clear her mind like she was told, and it seemed that she was just going to fall asleep. . . . Her eyes opened and she took a quick look around before focusing on Urjasz, a grin spreading across her features before she tilted her head and batted her eyelashes a bit. “Pri`vet, Urjasz. It is pleasure, yeah?”

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ Learning why they had been out on the night of Kyla's death, Urjasz's hatred for the hunters was growing even more. The park may of already happened, but he wished he could do it over and over. It had been far too quick for his liking. If he had it his way, they'd be shipped to Moscow for daily torture. So Kyla had died trying to help Anastasia. Watching her close her eyes, he was unsure of what to expect. Would she physically change like a shifter or would it be more subtle? With a flick open of her eyes and a look around the room, Anastasia was no longer.....Anastasia. "Well hello there. And yes it is quite the pleasure. The first time we meet and you're already on top of me with me inside you. So what should I call you? I imagine "it" and "voice" don't appeal."He couldn't see any real physical change in her, more changes in her personality and behaviour. There was yet more to discover about this new personality and he would have to ask a fair few questions. "So there's a few questions I need to ask. When did you come into Anastasia's life? What the hell happened in the park? Did you just feel everything me and her just did? Was it you or her I just made love to? " Naturally all the proper questions disappeared from his mind as he was trying to get his head around two minds in one body. Every shifter had too minds, just not one that would physically take over. He knew in the end only one could remain and he knew that Anastasia would have to fight to stay. It was as bad as dying in his eyes, except cursed to forever watch someone else live your life.

ANASTASIA KIRILOVNA MARISOVA → IT'S HARD TO SEE THE PAIN BEHIND THE MASK BEARING THE BURDENSHE STANDS HARD AS A STONE IN A WORLD THAT SHE CAN'T RISE ABOVE ← Whatever Urjasz’ reaction was to her, she didn’t seem to care too much, her head tilted and that grin on her face. “Well hello there. And yes it is quite the pleasure. The first time we meet and you're already on top of me with me inside you. So what should I call you? I imagine ‘it’ and ‘voice’ don't appeal,” was the werewolf’s greeting. The little blonde smiled slightly and chuckled, shifting her position so that she was leaning against the headboard, her legs stretched out in front of her and crossed at the ankles, her arms folded over her bare stomach. “Particularly not. To call me? I not think too much on. Perhaps. . . Natashia do? Sound nice, yeah?” she suggested with a smile, lifting a hand to look at her nails and pick at them slightly. There was no real rhyme or reason for the name, merely that it was the first one she had thought of off the top of her head. “Need not introduce self, yeah? You are Urjasz, I am aware.”
He got right to the question, and This new personality—Natashia—merely smiled pleasantly at him. “Of course,” she murmured in response. “When did you come into Anastasia's life? What the hell happened in the park? Did you just feel everything me and her just did? Was it you or her I just made love to?” A bombardment of questions was flung her way, and Natashia held her hand up slightly, hoping that he wouldn’t give her fifty questions in one shot, and then flipped her blonde hair over her shoulder. “When? Urjasz, you know I here from beginning. Little Ana. . . special, yeah? Many pent up emotions. They need go somewhere, yeah? Shock of Kyla dying in arms start me. Such helpless feeling. . . anger at self. . . sadness of friend’s death. She need help, yeah? I am help. Not. . . raw instincts as wolf. Start as that, yeah. Traumatic life, little Ana. Created from stray emotions,” this new girl—yet still the same—explained, the disjointed way she spoke undoubtedly making it a little difficult to understand, but all the points were still there.
With a mischievous grin, she turned her head to Urjasz and gave him a once-over, grinning wider. “What happen in park? Little Ana not cut out for situation. She make good try, but in end she not handle. Shot to shoulder lead to panic attack, I step in. Make things easier. Help, maybe. Though you need little, yeah?” She stopped to laugh slightly at her own comment, even though it wasn’t really meant to be a joke. Somehow she still found it to be pretty giggle-worthy. “No harm to little Ana, promise. It merely as if she unconscious. Last question. . . .” Again, Natashia let out a giggle that would make any school-girl envious and she smiled slyly at the older werewolf. “Was both, Urjasz. She not ride, yeah. Too shy. I merely help. She aware, I aware. . . not want her miss any of it, yeah? Perhaps small blackout while I mount. . . but that it. Be sure congratulate her on first threesome, yeah?” Tilting her head back slightly, she laughed loudly.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ Shifting off the top of him, she joined his side and clearly made herself comfortable. Taking some tissue from the side, he cleaned himself up once more and passed some tissues to his new friend. "Natashia it is then. It's got a very unique sound to it. Familiar, yet unique. And yes, I'm Urjasz. I'm the bad man Anastasia had always feared." He didn't boast the final part, it was more sarcastic yet it held a serious tone. It sounded almost as if the thought depressed him, which wouldn't be far from the truth. Allies were allies, not people who needed to fear you. Only fear what you do to allies who became enemies. She began to answer the first of his questions, even though she had tried to stop him adding more to the list. The broken English was easy to understand luckily and it helped him think of her as a different person. In her own way she explained her origins and slowly Urjasz was beginning to understand better. "Ah I see. Forgive me for comparing to such an obvious source, but this all reminds me of the classic Jekyll and Hyde story, especially the more modern adaptations. In the latest story, they take turns living their life, in a truce. In the end, people try to kill Hyde and rather than simply dying, he absorbs all the pain and he dies, leaving Jekyll to survive. Is there anyway that you could let her see what you do all the time? I know you mentioned she was aware moments ago." It was all rather strange to him, even though Natashia seemed to pose no real threat. There was always the underlying caution that told him not to trust her and he had to keep that in mind. He chuckled as she mentioned the park and he wasn't sure if it was her or her English that made him laugh. "Perhaps she needed the help. I was quite happily in my element with all the stabbing and shit. The way her brother's skull opened on that cement, simply amazing." When the previous act was mentioned, he wasn't sure if he was disappointed or not. The hope that she had ridden him now gone with the reveal of Natashia taking the helm. "I'll be sure to do that. Though halfway it was her who spoke, not you." Thinking things over, he only had one question on his mind. "How much of Daktari are you? If you've been there all along, why didn't you show up when he was raping Anastasia?"

ANASTASIA KIRILOVNA MARISOVA → IT'S HARD TO SEE THE PAIN BEHIND THE MASK BEARING THE BURDENSHE STANDS HARD AS A STONE IN A WORLD THAT SHE CAN'T RISE ABOVE ← Urjasz compared their situation to Jekyll and Hyde and Natashia smirked slightly, tilting her head to the side as she listened intently to his little story. His question came up, and she looked away from him at the wall, as if the answer was right there on the wallpaper. “Not keeping her from being conscious. My influence allows her, my take over makes her black out.” Natashia shrugged and looked back at him, the smile gone, but a little glimmer of playfulness in her eyes. “If I could, I might. Unsure of explanation, but perhaps work on it, yeah? See what can do,” she offered, proving that she wasn’t completely unreasonable. If it was an act, it was a good one. Anastasia was never really good at lying, so did it make sense that this personality would be? It would. “I explain voice in head better, yeah? Little Ana’s mind interpret my thoughts as fit. It would. . . remind you of Kyla. She miss her terrible. Watch her die and not able to do anything shake her up bad. She is. . . desperate for any part of her to remain.”
His next question seemed to shake the blonde a little bit. “How much of Daktari are you? If you've been there all along, why didn't you show up when he was raping Anastasia?” Natashia’s mild smile faded into a deep frown, her brows furrowing. She did not look at all happy to have this brought up against her. She looked sharply away from the werewolf, occupying herself with the tissues that he had so kindly offered her for a little bit while she thought the question through. Truth be told, she wasn’t sure herself. “Not sure. From recollection, I am perhaps. . . okay as much with violence, yeah? Necessary at times, yeah? I not know everything, yeah? Can’t answer question,” she replied curtly, obviously blowing off his second question, as if she was uncomfortable talking about it. Or unhappy that she hadn’t helped. She looked back at the wall, her face blank for a second before she stood and started to pick through the floor, looking for her clothes. “Done, yeah? Cold in here,” she explained sourly, starting to pull on her panties and deciding to throw on the first shirt she found—Urjasz’s.

When I am seen. I am feared. _______________________ She spoke of the blackouts and though a little disappointed with the answer, he accepted it as the truth and decided that he would work on it in the future. "We'll have to try and work on the blackouts when we have more time. As much as it's lovely to talk to you, Anastasia is the primary mind in that body and we need to ensure she has control. Just in case of you two should fall out in the future. Besides, I'm sure she wouldn't mind you taking over when the shit hits the fan." He was trying to lay down the law whilst still giving her a reason to care. She was far better as an ally than an enemy and he intended to keep it that way. "So it would seem that we've already made love. Not a half bad way to present yourself to the world. How will I know in the future if it's you or Anastasia in charge? Apart from the voice thing."Her explanation of Anastasia missing Kyla made sense and Urjasz began to wonder just how much like Kyla Natashia would be. His thoughts were interrupted though as her happy demeanour soon disappeared when he brought up Daktari. Her answer avoided any blame on her behalf, which he could understand. Perhaps she felt like he was blaming her. Getting up, she started to get dressed and he sat up, taking a deep breath. "Don't have to do that. Climb into my bed, snuggle up, let us look to the future and not the past. So you don't have an answer for it. That's ok. You didn't help Daktari at least. Come on, forget the clothes. We can have some fun. There's no reason to end the fun now. Let us give Anastasia another taste of the pleasures that life can bring."
