The dull blade good and proper ,
I'm bleeding heavily and feeling sick Although I have to fight to stay awake I keep eating while in convulsions It's just so well seasoned and so nicely flambéed and so lovingly served on porcelain And with it, a good wine and gentle candlelight Yeah I'll take my time You've got to have some culture - - - - - - - -
Saben was losing interest. He wasn't the type who just stood around and tried to shoot at or kill one target all night. He liked variety, which was why he had come to the club in the first place. There had been plenty of people there, and he could pick and choose who he wanted to kill and/or terrorize. Yet now that the vampire was staying in one spot and did nothing more than swing from it or move around, he was growing bored. This fact had him wondering what the cops would do if he just up and left. After all, he just killed a number of people in the club. Would they follow after him? Or would they simply leave him be as he went on his way? Heh, if they chose the prior, he could easily outrun them. Either that, or he could lead them somewhere and start the fun back up by killing them. Such a thing was a lot better than simply standing around and shooting at a vampire the whole time. This situation was going nowhere so far, and again, he was growing easily bored.
When a breeze came by, it kicked up the smell of the blood in the area. Even the police seemed to notice it as their reactions became disgusted. However, Saben soon took his focus off the smell as the sounds of the sirens grew much, much louder. Only moments later, the SWAT trucks came around the corner, pulling in and coming to a quick stop in the streets. Then, the cops piled out from the back, their assault rifles drawn and aimed at both him and the vampire. Now a smirk spread across Saben's face as the cops ordered him to go to the ground, and for the vampire to get down from the pole. It only took seconds for Saben to formulate a plan in his mind, and once he had it, he began to play it out. So at first, it seemed as if he were listening to the police as he slowly crouched down towards the ground. He remained there for a moment, the police ordered him once more, this time telling him to lie flat.
Ha! Like hell he'd listen to them and do that. Using his speed to his advantage once more, he quickly reached for one of the axes that he'd dropped and tossed it at one of the cops. It him him square in the throat, making him clutch at it before collapsing to the ground. Not even a second later, Saben grabbed the other axe and darted across the street. He had decided to switch his games over towards the police, and not with the vampire. If she wanted to play along though, so be it. Since there was no point in trying to stop her, he didn't care if she joined in on the fun of killing the cops. So he carried on with his ways, darting around to avoid the bullets that were now flying towards him. Every so often, a round would hit him, but he brushed it off as if it were nothing. After circling them a few times to taunt them, Saben suddenly made his way into the crowd of cops, mowing them down one by one with the axe.
With each cut and slice that he made, more blood flowed onto the streets and got onto him as well. Then, there was a moment of silence after Saben took down the last remaining cop. Standing there in the street, he closed his eyes and took in the lovely scent of death. From there, he stuck his tongue out and licked all the way around his mouth, getting what blood he could. When he opened his eyes again, he could see the mass of bodies lying around on the ground. More sirens were in the distant though, ensuring yet another wave of police. So he looked towards the vampire on the pole with a smirk. "This is a much better version of fun for me. Join if you want, or stay up on that pole like a bitch." Oh, he knew she could easily do what he just had. He's only seen it a few moments ago. So what he said wasn't a challenge of any sort...just more of an offering and an insult.
