Jazper watched Ana's face look thoughtful, and then break out into a beautiful smile. She almost glowed in happiness and Jazz could only return her smile with one of his own. It was wide and bright, showing his pretty white teeth. His blue eyes danced with excitement. "Well sure! But will your friend mind?" Jazper lifted a hand and poked his finger in the direction that he would always see Ana looking. "After all I'm pretty sure its not appropriate for me to bust out in this tiny little place. That vendor guy would be pretty pissed off if I knocked over his precious boxes." Jazz smiled as he eyed the crabby man sitting on a stool. His face was all wrinkled up, eyeing anyone that walked past.
"I don't want to just take you away and have your friend come out and tear the place apart like an angry momma bear looking for her cubs." he laughed, coarse but musical and beautiful all the same. "But, if its okay, I'll gladly take you out to a much quieter place and show you." His hand reached up, running his fingers through his hair as he looked at Ana. He didn't feel shy or uncomfortable around her. She was so willing to accept him, and so happy to know what he was. In fact, she was the only person he had come to know that found what he was to be interesting, or even exciting.

come on let your colors burst * if you only knew what the future holds after a hurricane comes a rainbow [atrb=align,center][atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style,width: 450px; background-image: url(http://i54.tinypic.com/2csga4i.jpg); padding: 5px;] Anastasia bit her bottom lip gently and looked over her shoulder to the building that her escort had disappeared into. “Oh, well I figured I’d let him know I was going to run off on my own. . . ,” she explained, fidgeting slightly. “I’ll go find him and let him know. It’ll probably be better because then he doesn’t have to worry about me when he does. . . ah. . . his business.”
Business. Right. For all she knew he was doing some sort of arms trade. This was, after all, the black market. She probably looked even more suspicious now.
“Wait here? I’ll be back in a few minutes,” she requested, watching him for a second to make sure he wasn’t going to just ditch her, and then she smiled and turned away. Her shoes clipped dully against the pavement as she made her way toward the building.
So he’d told her to just wait outside. . . . Surely what was going on in there wasn’t so bad?
Anastasia stopped outside the building, standing in front of the door, for a few seconds before she took a deep breath to gather her courage. Once gathered, Anastasia shoved the door open and peeked inside. The entrance was rather empty, so she closed the door behind her and took cautious steps, following her ears to locate the familiar voice of her escort coming from a room in the back. Poking her head inside, she surprised a couple dozen men who all stood up quickly, drawing weapons.
“S-sorry!” Anastasia squeaked, pulling her head away from the door, face turning red with embarrassment and heart pounding with fear. She didn’t know what she’d interrupted, but it certainly wasn’t anything to be embarrassed about.
Her escort assured the men that she wasn’t a problem and excused himself to talk to her. Anastasia waited obediently outside the room for him to appear, then flinched as if she’d been hit when he chastised her for not waiting outside. “I’m s-sorry I just w-wanted to tell you that I. . . . That I was met a friend and was going to hang out with them for a while. . . . I didn’t want to just ditch you and make you worry,” she explained, gaze down at the ground.
Babbling in Russian, her escort told her that was fine, she just needed to leave right that moment. Obediently, Anastasia thanked him for understanding and then scurried back outside, flattening herself against the door once she was back in the fresh air, chest rising and falling quickly.
I thought for sure someone was going to shoot at me, she thought fearfully as she hurried back to her new friend, smiling happily despite her trembling hands.
“Okay, we can go wherever you think would be best,” Anastasia said, clasping her hands together to hide their shaking. Eventually she’d calm back down and be normal, she was just a little shaken up by having so many guns pulled on her in one foul swoop. At least those people asked questions first and then started firing later. . . .
She didn’t like being shot.
