The night was chilly and dark with an overcast, but still the streets of the big city never sleep. People were bustling about, walking here or there attending to their own business. Some were out shopping, others perhaps on their way home to retire after a long day's work.
However, there was a lone girl whom nobody seemed to pay any particular attention to. With her gander at those passing by and melancholy attitude and stride, it was safe to say this one wasn't in any sort of hurry, not in the least. She strayed back and forth between a few city blocks, never venturing too far from where she had exited an apartment complex. It was a rather richy neighborhood and the girl dressed accordingly. A beautiful evening dress made up the majority of her outfit that night, a little short for the weather, its lace trim brushing against her thighs. Topped off with quite the fashionable pair of glistening heels and a tight leather jacket with a cute corsetted pattern up the back. The girl had wondrous, smooth hair and her figure smelled vaguely of an expensive perfume. One could conclude she was out to meet a fine gentleman, but no such being ever showed. Instead the lone girl strolled about aimlessly. Nobody walking by her offered more than a glance and a smile.
It had been weeks since the girl's return to the nighttime world of New York. She had last been in league with Isi, but left the girl's side abruptly to attend to her own matters. Matters which had brought her overseas to the United States to begin with. However, after false leads and disappointments the girl returned. Now without her only acquaintance, despite Isi being rather demanding of her at times, she was lost. Even through all the hardships, Isi had helped Seras countless times keeping her fed, alive, sheltered, educated. The timid halfbreed had grown somewhat fond of their arrangement, only to have been selfish to pursue her own identity. Alas, there was no father to be found where her little adventure had taken her and the dahmpir returned home.
"Miss Isi... please..." A faint voice escaped her cold, trembling lips. "I need you..."

Isi was wearing a slim black tube dress that fit all her curves. She looked better then ever in an evening outfit. Isi was gorgeous as a mortal, but as a vampire she went from model to supermodel and looked absolutely stunning, hands down. It was hard to be so beautiful when it had cost her everything. Not money, which mattered a lot to Isi but her humanity. She was wearing matching black boots. Though her gun was in a boot she no longer needed to rely on it. Not when she now had other... tools in her arsenol. Isi no longer needed makeup but she wore some anywhere. It brought color to her face since as a vampire she looked paler then ever before. The makeup added color but took away a bit of her beauty. Or so she thought. It wasn't as if she could look at herself in a mirror.
As a human Isi walked into trouble. But now as a vampire she seemed to find it at every corner. One man who was not drunk had called out 'hey baby' and Isi had killed him without a doubt. She had snapped his neck, not sampled his blood. The man smelled like drugs and Isi did not mess with drugs. She knew some vampires drank drunks but Isi did not know how that would affect her. Her stomach rumbled. She had been sorely tempted by that man - to drink his blood and not the sex - and had resisted. Grumble. Grumble. Went her stomach again and again. She could resist the hunger. She had to. What was a vampire hunter turned vampire to do? Isi didn't feel like killing vampires, now. Not until she killed the one that had killed her. And to do that she would need an arsonal of weapons. It would help if she could develop some sort of synthetic sun. But until then... Not to mention she had to track and find the bitch.

Almost on cue, Seras let out a cute little sneeze after covering her mouth with a handkerchief in a polite manner. Her every move was elegant without even trying. The girl had class, but not without her own quirks and nuisances. Looking around the streets, the dhampir shrugged it off as nothing. After all, nobody was paying her any heed and surely it was someone someplace far off speaking of her. How close the woman was, she would have no idea until it was too late.
Hands deep in her pockets and a quizical look across her perfectly pale, porcelain face, Seras walked along as she often did, pondering the facts of life or whatever else came about her mind. Tonight, it was merely the notion of not finding her biological father yet again, and the realization that she may very well never come across him in such a vast city, as well as country. With nowhere to again start her search, the dhampir princess of sorts made it back to the city that never sleeps, a fitting home for her kind afterall.
Suddenly, without any sort of warning, a strange but eerily familiar scent graced the gust of wind that blew softly across her cute little nose. Seras held herself and stopped dead in her tracks. It was only there for but a brief moment but yet the girl knew it all too well. Was her previous master in the immediate area? Alas she had to be!
A few short moments later, while taking a relaxing and much needed breath of fresh air while sitting upon a bench, a familiar red haired vixen rounded the corner and was now down the street. To a vampire's senses and vision, however, it was merely a short distance to behold.
There was most certainly something different about the creature Seras had recalled. Something odd. For just a brief moment the dhampir couldn't place it, until a chrill beset her. Had Isi been turned? A sense of severe guilt and grief overtook her heart suddenly. Had she done her master in and brought her over to the life by night without a shred of a memory of it? No, surely even she could recall something so devastating. But if not her, then who? Who could have finally defeated the hunter and turned her? Nonetheless, aside from receiving a second chance with making her aquaintance, Seras felt perhaps they can now understand each other a bit more. Though, she still wouldn't fit in properly. Isi had been turned, more or less someone's dame. A vampire not born into the blood. But Seras, she had been born with it, half of it. It had more often than not left the poor dhampir with many questions and uncertainties, and had been cause for her outcasting many a time.

Isi walked down the street with a sigh. Her stomach grumbled with hunger but there was nothing she could do about it. When she was human she could go to any vending machine, slide in a dollar and a few quarters and get out a quick fix of sugar. But being a vampire didn’t work that way – not unless Isi visited a few blood banks. But Isi would not do that. Not while she had her pride. Of course as a hunter one of the first places she hit was the blood banks. She had destroyed the vampires that worked there - - along with many of the humans who knowingly helped the vampires. So no, Isi couldn’t go to the blood banks.
Her stomach grumbled again, more fierce in nature. She had a horrible sire, one who had turned her and left her alone to deal with this ‘disease’ by herself. And of course as a hunter Isi knew practically nothing about vampires and their lives. She knew where they slept. How their money travelled. How to take their lives. But not how to live like them. “Fuck,” Isi muttered under her breath. What would happen if she did not eat? Would she be like Hiro, Seras’ old lover before he replaced her with a wolf bitch? ‘Oh, God’! Isi thought. She did not want to end up like Hiro. She would do it. She would eat. But she would not enjoy it though her body would. Isi needed to do what she needed to do to survive, to take her revenge.
She walked down the street, hands at her side, eyes scanning, eyes alert, ready for a direct course of action. The first person she could find that wasn’t drunk. The first person… Man, woman, child – anyone. Except maybe a dirty homeless person and someone who was drunk or on drugs. There Isi spotted ahead of her a man carrying a plastic bag filled with (her nose sniffed) frozen pizza. The six pack of beer, closed, was visible. It would definitely have to be him. Isi did not know how long she could hold out. She was fucking hungry and wanted the pain to end. She picked up the pace and continued to trail him. She wanted to take him far enough away from the corner store that the clerk wouldn’t be asked his ID but before he got inside his home. This was tricky, how did vampires do it?! Isi was so focused on the human that she did not know that her scent had been caught by a vampire.

Sitting on a cold bench, the weak breeze fluttering what few leaves there were on the streets of the city, Seras covered her mouth politely to sigh. Being partially human, the innate being still experienced symptoms that would befall a mortal. Fatigue, boredom, loneliness, pain, all of which plagued her.
Just then, the scent she had caught a hint of earlier blew past once more, this time growing much stronger. A lone figure walked past from a neighboring side street, minding his own business. He appeared nonchalant, nothing of particular interest of peculiarity about him. Just an ordinary being. Ordinary, until there was a woman following him from a short distance behind.
The dhampir stared in awe, tears welling up in her eyes. It became clear to her right then that it was her master, prior to her hasty departure from the city. But there was something strange about her now. Something so incredibly different that even a halfbreed could only partially understand. Had Isi been turned? Alas she had to have been!
Without a moment's notice, Seras petite body was up and about, making its way to follow both parties. When she came within a short distance, however, the girl closed it quickly and darted towards her Isi. Without warning, Seras wrapped her arms around Isi's waist tight, hugging her with as much love and loneliness as a stray cat. It was apparent the vampire surely had to have known her coming, but only perhaps the body's familiarity would have allowed the dhampir to get in so close. Or could it be that Isi's newfound hunger had clouded her senses so terribly? Nonetheless, Seras never meant her any harm, only love and loyalty. But would Isi even take her back? As a vampire, did she need a servant? Only perhaps the girl's human majority would hold any interest to a vampire, blood and all.
"Miss Isi..." a weak but happy, yet frightened voice escaped Seras' timid lips.

Isi almost hissed under her breath. Her stomach was growling and the hunger pains were intense. It really sucked being a vampire. Isi could swear that she couldn’t feel a soul anymore – had she even been in possession of it as a human. She could only smell the man now. She could smell him and the sweat that formed on his back and behind his neck. She smelled him as osmosis moved the particles of his scent away and she smelt him when the cold wind (not that Isi felt the cold anymore) splashed his scent in her face.
All of a sudden she was grabbed but not attacked. Isi smelled a very familiar scent – the perfume – but now she could smell the vampire. Those familiar words…. “Seras.” Isi growled but it came out more like an angry hiss. Seras had left Isi. And then Isi had been hunted down by a pink haired vampire. Isi had escaped only to have been invaded and turned…murdered (if you will) by the pink haired vampire. In a way if one played the blame game, which Isi most certainly did, she could blame Seras. There were so many things about vampires Isi did not know. Like how the pink haired one could go into her home without being invited in. Isi really learned this lesson the hard way.
“What. Are. You. Doing.” Those four words spoken slowly, deliberately and sharply. Out of the corner of Isi’s eye she watched the man walk away, walk up the steps and enter his dwelling. He was safe. Isi was shocked to see Seras but her face expressed no emotions. It was actually, really a real relief. But Isi felt shame, she felt embarrassed and disgusted with herself. Seras had known Isi when she was human and now she was on the other side. And Isi had treated the vampire Seras like beetle dung.

Despite having previously been treated worse than a slave at times, Seras found herself still clinging to what comfort she had had in Isi'. The familiarity of her despicable underling situation with the bounty hunter made her wish for it all the more, especially after her failure in locating what link to a real life that Seras had. Unable to track down her biological father afterall, the dhampir felt shameful, unwanted, but most of all regretful of ever leaving her master. The lady had brought her a comfortable and predictable atmosphere, though at times the halfbreed needed a change of pace on her own accord, often leading to only anger her captor. However, perhaps in the back of her mind it was only but a ruse, being that the girl reveled in pain. Wether physical or emotion, to the dhampir it was mere two of the same. Pain nearly always would translate to comfort and familiarity within the girl's mind, eventually. If she were hurt, the feeling of deserving such torment convinced her it was a beautiful thing. Thus, she found herself wanting Isi to rule her once more.
Holding onto the bounty hunter, her arms draped around the lady's hips, Seras was on her knees, her head down in shame. The tears rolled down her cheeks before they could even hope to be stopped.
"I'm heaps sorry... please, Miss Isi... I... I need you..." Seras pleaded with the typically rude lady, unaware that perhaps there was but a slight sense of regret in her mind for having treated the halfbreed so terribly in the past. Now that she too were a vampire, albeit on a different note, they would see a little more eye to eye.
"I'll do anything for you, Miss... please... Miss, Isi..."
Of course, when Seras claimed she would do anything for her prospective master, she very well meant it in all regards. Now that she had let her meal get away, the halfbreed would even prove to go so far as to offer herself. Being only half vampire, perhaps her taste would be nearly as good as a fresh humans, only with the lack of a soul to take or the aftermath of acquiring a slave. No, Seras would do anything to become Isi's slave again. Even if it meant being a renewable source of nourishment. With her incredibly ability to heal her body and a willingness to control it to her liking, Seras could possibly be the perfect specimen for a true, or even a turned vampire to keep at their side. Especially because in recent times, she had grown better at controlling her own hunger pains. Though infrequent, the girl simply translated it into all manner of pains which she cherished with her ill mind.
Seras glanced up at Isi with the most beautiful gander. One of awe, it would inspire the same in anybody lending a stare in her direction. How could one not? Her porcelain skin glowing in the moonlight, her tears glistening in such majestic crimson eyes. It was quite the sight to behold, two such beauties in one location.
As if to remind Isi of what she very well may be lucky to have at her side once more, Seras' little fangs grew out and after blinking her gorgeous, seductive eyes a few times, the dhampir glanced aside and closed her eyes, exposing her slender neck to Isi. The temptations must have been brilliant for any vampire, new or experienced. Seras let out the most faint of whimpers, something so inviting only a vampire with heightened senses could distinguish amongst the night air. Everything in her power was done and more to pull the hungry vampire's temptations to the surface. Seras wanted nothing more than to be her master's private feeding slave, and to a confused, newly turned vampire it was anything to hope for. But Seras meant Isi well. She would most definitely understand her and provide the shameful vampire with sustenance one in her position would most likely not fancy getting elsewhere on a hunt. Surely, it was something anyone in her shoes would like to get under control and hide as swiftly as possible.
Again, Seras whimpered seductively, inviting Isi's hunger to take over and ravage her neck. Seras wouldn't mind if her body were to be drained this night. The pain would amaze her.

With a keen eye Isi watched the human go inside his home. The door was swiftly locked behind him. Though Isi knew that she would break into his home and rob him of his blood if she wished. It was what Lynette had done to her. Though Isi was unsure of how to enter a home undetected for Isi would break windows and shatter glass just to get to her next meal. And she hated this. This horrible feeling of need. She could not control it. She could not fight it. And it disgusted her even more that she did not want to fight it.
Her stomach lurched against her will. With a weak will Isi turned her eyes forcefully from the door of the man who would live another night to her traitorous slave. With another grumble from her empty stomach Isi could not take it. Her fangs extended against her will; she was a newborn after all, and entered Seras neck. Her body said that the blood was delicious but her brain wanted to revolt and purge itself of this blood, riddled with disease. Her body won over her brain and Isi drunk deep in the rich blood of the half vampire.
The taste was sensational and feeding was almost orgasmic. Isi closed her eyes, her lips pressed against Seras’ neck like a lovers kiss. There should be doves or maybe some magical unicorn! The blood was sweet oh so sweet! Finally after a little while as Isi’s stomach quenched and did backflips saying that it was full did she stop, after a momentary fight with her brain. She realized that it was Seras whom she was drinking from.
Instead of being grateful Isi was thoroughly annoyed. She slapped Seras’ neck. Though in human form Isi had been like a cat swatting at a fly when she beat Seras, she was now a fearsome foe and her smack had more power in it now in her newly changed state. “How dare you leave me you sniveling vampire!” Isi said it as if Seras’ was the only vampire in the room. “And now you come crawling back to me? Well, crawl!” Isi kicked Seras’ hard. She wanted Seras to crawl on her hands and knees to the newborn. Though in all right had Seras a backbone Isi should be crawling towards her! Seras was lucky there was no glass on the sidewalk.
Isi turned and began to walk, leaving Seras crawling on her hands and knees – if the vampire knew what was good for her! Isi’s pace was slow. Before as a human she had always walked lively but now what was the point? She had nowhere to go. Time meant nothing. She tried to adjust to the new blood in her body. It wanted to go up and beating up Seras only made her feel better.

The moment Seras felt a slight breath on her neck, the anticipation made her cringe a bit as much as it put a smile on her pretty little face. A soft sigh escaped her as finally she could feel such sharp teeth tearing through her flesh and the blood began to flow out. Without any incentive, the dhampir let it flow and flow until finally isi backed off. Seras fell on her behind and tried to take in the notion that her previous owner had just fed off her. It was fantastic! The feeling of pain, disgust, and self loathing all were drowned out by a majestic pleasure. There was still a bit of a stream flowing down her pale neck, surely enticing any vampire before her, but Isi now had a horrid look in her eyes, a terribly mean visage of anger and discontent.
Seras felt momentarily confused, but soon it dawned on her and the soon to be onslaught of pain made her heart skip a beat. In her mind it was for the fun and pleasure of it all, though her body altogether cringed and waited to be beaten. Or had her body, too, grown to enjoy it all as well?
Isi kicked Seras to the ground like a mangy dog and she fell forth with no hesitation. The dhampir didn't even bother to get up. There were tears running down her cheeks, but what kind anyone could surely guess. There was a certain heated pleasure coursing through the tormented girl's body now, a heightened sense of relief and joy. It had been weeks since her master beat her and the half-breed missed it far too much.
"Th-thank you, miss Isi..." A small whisper came from her trembling lips. Seras was truly happy again. Perhaps she had somehow forgotten, or simple never knew what true happiness felt like, and so she reveled in the familiar situation of being beaten for no good reason.
Slowly, the girl propped herself up, still a bit dizzy from losing so much blood all of a sudden, but the discomfort actually comforted her with a sensation she had longed for for a very long time. Now she was more than attached to her master. She had received the one pain Seras thought would never come upon her, but now the dhampir wished for it more and more already. The perhaps looney girl made her way towards Isi, using all her strength in her weakened body to crawl. Upon close inspection, anyone could tell she had not fed as a human or as a vampire in perhaps weeks, her will being the only think keeping her alive. Or was it simply her hatred for herself and the longing for any kind of pain? Either way, the pretty exterior she always made sure to put on could easily be brought down by the likes of Isi, someone who knew her true issues.
Though Isi would never admit it. She would never seem to come to terms with how close the two had actually gotten before and again Seras used this knowledge to her advantage. It would prove hurtful to anyone who thought they'd had a friend, but the dhampir loved feeling her heart quiver in depression. It was all she knew. The only way she knew to feel alive was through pain. Wether emotional or physical, she was desperate to get it always at any cost.

Isi wasn’t being honest with Seras. It was actually quite a relief for her little ‘pet’ to come back into her ‘life’. Now Isi wasn’t alone. Now Isi had the company of another vampire. What Isi wanted to do right now was quiz Seras about what a vampire could and could not do regarding being invited into a person’s home. Isi hadn’t invited anyone into her home yet that damned pink haired vampire had gotten to her.
Isi turned around and though Seras was keeping a fast pace it wasn’t fast enough. It wouldn’t be fast enough even if Seras had the power to run around the world in a second. She kicked Seras in the stomach. “Hurry up!” she screamed to her crawling pet. Isi honestly didn’t give a damn if anyone saw them. What would they do? This was New York and people minded their own damn business. “Hurry the hell up!” Isi cried as she gave Seras another hard kick to whichever body part her foot met.
“When we get home you have a lot of cleaning to do!” Isi said. She wanted her place scrubbed upside down. Isi had done a good job at filling in the bullet holes and such but Isi hadn’t had a time to scrub the place down with a mixture that would remove trace evidences of blood, gunpowder and fingerprints. It may be time for Isi to move since the pink one knew where she lived. But Isi couldn’t let the old owners find even a single bullet (which Isi had already collected) or what if something happened after she moved and the cops needed to fingerprint the place? Isi couldn’t sell it.
