The monstrous vampire continued to assume the crouched position, looking down at the wreck of Luna's body, whole chunks of flesh absent to reveal bone the colour of charcoal. As he waited for some indication that she wanted to accept his deal, he slowly mulled over how he would end up killing her.
The easiest way would be to crucify her to one of the hundreds of crosses surrounding his castle, watching from the monolithic structure as the sun came up and turned her pathetic little body to ash. He looked off to the right and frowned when he thought about sunshine, truly his biggest weakness on this planet, limiting his destructiveness to the night-time. One day he would find a means to overcome that weakness, the first vampire to walk in the sunny side of the street.
Watching the pathetic creature struggle to look up at him, the vampire lord continued to grin like a maniac, getting real pleasure from seeing his enemies break before they died. It was so much fun toying with your food and prey, there was no fun if you shot them through the head or heart, the fun ended so quickly; what must be done is to drag the ordeal out over an extended period of time. If Luna thought her pain had come to end she was gravely mistaken, the most miserable period in her life was yet to come. Chain her to his grounds with his mark and release her when he was satisfied with his new found powers – that was the only worthwhile goal in life, to gain more power, to become a no life god.
Laughing at the fact she couldn't communicate through speech, Lord Xavier acknowledged the nod of her head and placed his right hand over one of her wrists that still had flesh on it. A bright red glow emitted from under his palm as fire teemed excitedly beneath it, scorching her flesh in precisely the right fashion. Seconds later, flinging his hand back to examine the mark he had left, he was satisfied that she belonged to him, and he would only remove the mark once satisfied with new-found magical power... funny little magic tricks.
It wasn't long before she slipped into unconsciousness, usually a very dangerous thing to do around this vampire monster, but for once his prey was relatively safe from his insane lust for inflicting pain and misfortune on others. Tucking his arms under her pathetic form, his mind focused on eliminating all of the fire and disappear it did, leaving a blackened alleyway behind. Rising to his full height, Lord Xavier looked over his shoulder as humans gathered to look at the damage. They fled in terror and amidst screaming when the figure of a man transformed his face into that of a monster, obsidian eyes sunken above a large, terrible mouth full of teeth only a shark could admire.
When the police reacted to the commotion, fire-fighters in tow, they demanded the figure set down whatever it was carrying. Many voices of human authority shakily demanded that he: "Place your hands behind your head and remain still..." But that really didn't appeal to the vampire lord so he walked slowly towards the wall of humans, listening with amusement as they barked at him. "Get out of my way," he demanded in turn. "Or I will slaughter the lot of you." To that the humans opened fire on the monster, but not one bullet connected as he dodged them with inhuman speed and agility.
Once they had emptied their firearms of their pathetic bullets, he lashed out at them as they tried desperately to reload. "Time to die, humans." Despite clutching Luna in his left arm, the Vampire Master of Romania still managed to kill every single police officer. He spiralled and danced as his right hand tore heads from shoulders, hearts out of chests, innards from abdomens, and it all happened within the space of a second or two.
The civilians screaming once again in terror as an extremely tall man stood, right hand bathed in blood, amongst the corpses of New York City's police officers. No human could ever hope to match the power and wrath of this vampire monster, only the supernatural had a chance of matching him. Howling with laughter, the vampire lord vanished, leaving only carnage and death in his wake.
