Kali's days at the stable were always tiring. Working, and never being about to stop would take its toll on anyone. Tonight was one of those nights where her master had beaten her. Her body hurt, bruises dotting her pale skin. Her left shoulder was out of place, and she didnt know how to get it back. It was painful of course, but she couldnt do anything. Her knees were sore and scraped from crawling away, but she didnt mind it. It was friday night.
The dark bruise under her eye along her check bone throbbed as she smiled at her favorite horse, Blake. "Its Friday night Blake. Want to go ride?" She asked softly, as the horses ears pricked up. His hulking black body shifted and twitched in anticipation. Kali's hand flew out and flicked open the lock as the horse trotted out. She smiled again, her fangs glinting gently. Not one horse fidgeted like any normal one would. They trusted Kali, and perhaps all the drugs that were in her blood masked the vampire scent. Who knew?
None the less Kali reached up and took ahold of Blakes withers and tried to haul herself onto his back. The horse was the size of a Clysdale, but was an Arabian with a bad additude, Kali was the only acception because she could talk to him and understand him like no one else in the world. Blake turned and used his massive head to push her up onto his back. "Ugh... Thank you Blake.." She flinched in pain at her aching body. The horse shifted and Kali understood his thoughts. "no no. Im okay. We always ride on Fridays..." With that Blake started to walk out of the barn, Kali not even needing to steer the horse. They shared thier thoughts.
Before long, Kali had her hands full with his long black mane as her legs gripped his side. There was no saddle for her, But she managed perfectly since she knew him so well. The horse soared far faster than any of the others in the barn. Kali let out a cry of happiness, her whole body happy and momentarily forgetting her pains. 'I love this Blake!' she breathed into his mind as he sailed over the fence and into the pasture where horse and master floated over the landscape with thunderous hoof beats.

Vincent yawns as he moves through the moonlight, taking a stroll through the green pastures of the park, basking in the moonlight. It was nights like this, he truly enjoyed himself, shaking the bonds of work, having nothing to do, and no friends or significant others to be with, where he could wander far and wide, all alone. He'd hadn't really had any friends in his life since before he was turned, almost eight hundred years ago. Tonight, like most other nights, he was alone, laying in a field of green, staring up into the stars, the moonlight being absorbed by his naturally tan skin, his tight leather outfit showing his muscular physique to all that might be close to bear witness. It was a great detterent from would be robbers.
His outfit was an unusual one for a frosty night, cold more than actually frosty, a leather chest piece covering his upper body, leaving his stomach and shoulders bare, leggings and knee high leather boots, with leather vambraces running from his palms to elbows. His specialized weapons were at their customary place at his lower back, looking like pure ornementation, long leather tails coming from his waist housing the blades, looking like the swallow cut jakcets of medieval nobles. His crimson eyes searched the heavens as his raven black hair danced in the breeze, before he readjusted himself, putting his back to a tree trunk, watching the pasture and sky synchronously. His mind was cast back amidst the sea of memories that engulfed him, his crimson eyes gone dull for the time being. Slowly, after what seemed years, the sound of hoofbeats reached his ears, growing steadily louder as he grew increasingly alert. His eyes snap back to their normal brilliant crimson, locking onto the rider and horse, a beautiful specimen to behold indeed, and the fragile rider upon it's back.
"Oh? What do we have here?" he muses to himself, his deep voice too quiet to be heard past the thunder of hooves. He doubted the rider could even see him, but he admired her from where he was. She was a beautiful woman, but one that seemed undeniably injured, and that struck a chord that hadn't been touched in many centuries. Once upon a time, he'd been a knight, in service to a lord, back in medieval Europe, now, he was just a musician, but he still had that undeniable sense of honor, and he had a heartfelt pain that she'd been injured. One that seemed so young, so innocent, shouldn't have to be hurt as she obviously had, but he wouldn't intervene, he didn't even know her. Perhaps one day though, he might get the chance to help her, be motivated enough to take it upon himself to rescue her. Afterall, isn't that the knights job? But then again, he wasn't a knight anymore, a dark knight perhaps, but he hadn't been in service to a lord or lady in many years. Perhaps he'd serve again, then again, perhaps not. He never was very motivated after being turned, even less so to serve. If the person was right though, or he felt strongly enough, they'd never be rid of him.

Kali's heart fluttered, her hair whipping about as Blake took his turn around the tree at the end of the pasture. He had decided to go to a side of the feild she had never been. Blake was having fun as well as it radiated from him in waves. Ever muscle of the beast moved smoothly, Kali barely jostled at all. He was taking care not to hurt her. She knew he could move much faster than this, but she also knew that he wouldnt even risk hurting her further. Blake was her protector, her gaurdian, her only friend. So, when the black stallion came to a sudden stop she knew it was for good reason.
Kali's body was hauled forward and a squeak left her as she fell onto his neck. her arms wrapped around the graceful slope and her body slid from his back. The weight made her scream out in pain as a sickening pop put her shoulder back into place. She fell to the ground in a heap and laid there. Blake nickered his apologies to her but stared forward, seeming frightened. Her head tilted over to see a man sitting there under the tree, the bruise under her eyes shining. Kali gasped and slid under the belly of the Arabian horse. She hid behind his long legs as her violet eyes peered at him in fright. Blake craned his neck out to the man, his ears flat back as he tried to get an idea of the stranger. He even seemed to wrap a foreleg around Kali for protection. The girl was silent, communicating to Blake though his thoughts.

He heard the pop as her shoulder slammed back into place, wincing as he leapt to his feet, checking himself before he ran over to her. He walks over to her lightly, gauging the distance, and stopping just outside of the horses range. "Hey, are you alright? Come on out, I promise I won't hurt you." he says softly, squatting down to stay level with her, treating her as an equal, not an inferior. "You look hurt, I can help, if you let me. My name's Vincent, you?" he continues softly, his face a mask of concern for her.
Seeing her up close, he could see how small and frail she truly was, and frightened. "Hey, I won't hurt you, I promise, knights honor." he says with a light smile, doubting she'd believe him. Hopefully, sh'ed be able to tell his concern and sincerity was genuine though, and she'd come out. "And you..." he pauses, examining the horse with a light smile, admiring him, "Arabian? You're just gorgeous, and as a horse with such intelligence, you know I'm not going to hurt you." he whispers softly, smiling lightly. He hadn't ridden in many years, but he still recognized horses. The last time he'd rode had been in combat, when he'd been turned.
"I promise I won't hurt you, and if you'd like, tell me something you'd like me to do to prove it, or you can ask me questions if you'd like, to better know me before coming out." he says with another light smile, watching the girl carefully, his eyes and face filled with concern, his voice soft and friendly, not wanting to scare her, but to help her. He smiles again, trying to coax her out, hoping that the horse could sense his intent, that he only wanted to help. He could see the intelligence in the horses eyes, and had only to hope he supposed, "I promise, I'll answer any questions you ahve, alright?" he asks with a smile, holding a hand out for her slowly, not wanting to scare her, "Come on out, and I can help patch you up. I have some medicine that can help your bruises, and you won't ever have to see me again if you don't want to." he says with a soft smile, still watching her, hoping she'd accept.

Kali instantly wrapped herself around Blakes leg, knowing he would keep her safe. The man had hopped up, coming for her. She was almost in tears she was so frightened. her lips moved and nothing but a whisper came out in an unknown language that Blake responded to. His muscles coiled and he was ready to hoist Kali onto his back if things got too tense. The male squatted down, his eyes almost level with Kali's. Her odd purple eyes stared, wondering what he wanted with the likes of her. It turned out that he meant no harm to her, but she would not trust him. Who would? "I'm fine." She lied. Her voice was so soft, so innocent. It was like she was a child. "I dont need help." kali lied once more. She knew that she needed help, she knew that it would benifit her in the long run, but by a stranger..?
Kali was silent then as he examines Blake. He gave a low threatening sound, telling the stranger to keep his distance from his owner. "He doesnt care about himself....." She began, her eyes still wide, voice shaking. "He cares about me... Leave him alone..." Her whole body had begun to tremble. Blake and the other horses at the stable where the only things she would defend. Theyw ere the only things that brought out the courage in her. Finally, Blake seemed to melt, and her eyes softened, understanding. So this Vincent guy was being serious. He wanted to help her and nothing more. Maybe it was worth the risk. If it turned bad, she had Blake.
Kali still refused to move, so Blake stepped back, and used his massive head to move her forward. She sat there still, sitting on her feet with wide innocent violet eyes. "My name is Kali...." She said softly and reached out timidly for his hand. When her fingertips brushed his she recoiled, but then took it, her eyes looking to him with a softness never seen in other people.

Vincent smiles softly as she takes his hand, moving his mouth and kissing her knuckles, "Tis my pleasure to meet you, beautiful Kali." he says softly, gently pulling her closer. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you, I'm just looking to see how bad it is." he offers in explanation, as he moves her just in front of him, carefully checking her face, his fingers lightly brushing across her skin. He frowns lightly, "I'm sorry if I hurt you, I had to check. I need to put your arm in a sling, it'll help your shoulder heal, thankfully, it popped back into place normally, though by an odd means." he says with a soft smile. "Hold still, ok?" he says softly, reaching into his leather chest piece, removing a small container that looked like a makeup piece for women, popping it open, dipping two fingers in.
He smiles softly as he gently rubs it onto her cheek and shoulder, and the other visible areas of injury. He smiles lightly at her, gently folding it into her hand, the container still almost completely full, "Here," he says lightly, "Take it, I'm sure you'll need it more than me." he says with a smile, winking at her, "I'm sure you have other injuries, but as we've just met, I woulnd't feel right about asking you to take your shirt off." he says with a smile. "And hey, don't ever let anyone tell you your useless, alright?" he says softly, seriously, "You're not, you're worht more than most people I've ever met." he says with a light smile, his words genuine. He slips his hand into his pocket, taking a small card out, tucking it into her own pocket quickly, "My number, if you ever need help, alright? You can call anytime, and I'll answer whenever you need me, and you're always welcome to stay with me if you need to get away." he says with a smile, winking at her.
He'd already taking a liking to her, and would be more than happy to stick around to visit with her, and to make sure that she was alright, but she didn't seem inclined to be the type to spend time with other people. "Well," he starts slowly, looking away and scratching his chin lightly, "I guess I'll be on my way, I don't want to bother you." he says with a light smile, hoping inside she'd ask him to stay, but doubting she would. "Take care beautiful Kali, and don't ever let anyone force you to be something you're not." he says with a soft smile, wanting to stay, to try and finally make a friend, after eight hundred years alone, but he knew it wouldn't work. "Remember, I'll always answer." he says with a smile, turning on his heel starting away, pushing the sadness away once more. It was the story of his life, living a solitary existence, accepting it all stoically, of course.

Kali almost pulled away when his lips touched her hand. For one reason, her knuckles and hand hurt, for the other, she was still afraid. "A pleasure to meet you as well Sir Vincent." Kali tried a smile. She still knew her manners from being one of royalty, and since he had given the knights honor she had reason to believe he was knighted. It was only right to call him by his proper name. She found that if she told him that she was once of high royalty in Transylvania, he would never believe her. But the just knowing that he was a knight allowed him to trust him a bit more. She moved with his pull lamely, everything hurting her. Blake followed behind two steps, always ajusting himself to be with Kali.
Kali gasped painfully when Vincents hand touched something that hurt. This time it was the corner of her eye, close to her temple. That was where the bruise was darkest as well. "I... I cant have a sling... i have to work...." She said softly, her voice dripping with fright for what tomorrow might bring. She wasnt cleaning like she should be right now, she was goofing off here with Vincent. Her violet eyes watched him carefully as he pulled out a tin and began to rub its contents onto her bruises and injuries. It hurt when he applied even the slightest pressure to some areas, but only flinched, not making any noise. He was just helping her. Kali took the container, her eyes looking at him softly. "Thank you..." Her shy voice whispered. Then when Vincent spoke of ofther injuries her hand went to her ribs, though she didnt want to take her shirt off. Kali had been kicked a good few times there tonight. The card with a number gave her odd comfort, but she then frowned. "I dont have a phone...." she informed him. "I dont have much of anything... I stay in the stable.." It was true. She had a few changes of clothes, one coat, one hoodie, and three pairs of shoes. Boots, converse, and cowboy boots. Then there was a brush, a picture of her family, a small mirror and one blanket. That was all she owned.
Vincent then decided to take her leave and Kali was instantly compelled to attach herself to him and not let go. He was the only person that was sweet to her, and maybe a new friend. She was so lonely. "Vincent... Dont go.." her voice was sad and it cracked once, her eyes filling with tears. "Please stay..." she begged gently. Never had she been so attached to someone so quickly. Kali was so alone here though, and she wanted to have someone that could defend her from her master. Maybe she would get out of a beating tomorrow since she hadnt done her chores. "I... I have to go back to the stable and... and do somethings.... or im in big trouble.... but... will... will you come with me..." She asked timidly, wiping away her foolish tears.

Vincent turns, frowning. "You don't have a phone? Well that won't do." he says with a smile tugging at the corner of his lips, pulling his own cell phone from his chest piece. He hands it to her, "There, a little used, but it'll do." he says with a shrug. He'd been wanting a new one anyway, he didn't like having the same number all the time. The phone he'd given her was a recent model, he wasn't sure what though. All he knew was that it was black, slim, and could do everything he needed it too, including checking the internet! "And don't worry about it, I was going to get a new phone anyways, and I'll keep paying for that one, so you can use it. Unlimited texting and all that jazz." he says with another smile. "And I'll call you once I pick up my new phone, probably tommorrow evening at the latest." he says with a shrug.
After a moment, he looks away, a little uncomfortable, before looking back, a hint of sadness in his eyes. "And don't call me sir." he says softly, his voice pained, "I gave that up a long time ago. I haven't served a lord since I was turned." he finishes quietly, looking away again, the thoughts still painful to him. The last time he'd served had been when he was thirty five, serving the lord of his village, sent away to fight after his parents had been slaughtered, and his brother dissappearing. It was on that blood soaked battle field that he'd been reunited with his brother, and nearly killed. He'd died that day, to be reborn as a creature of darkness. He was silent for a few moments, before her final words hit him, and he looked back at her, forcing a small smile, "Yeah, we'll head back, and you're going to wear a sling, if I have to do the work for you. I used to manage a stable, before...before I was knighted." he says with conviction, determined to overlook his past.
He motions the horse over, helping her onto his back, before patting him on the neck softly, starting to lead the way back, handing Kali the reigns. "Come on, it's better for you to ride, and I'll keep up if you decide to trot or gallop." he says with a shrug. "If there's things you need to do, I'll help you finish them out, and explain to your boss what the situation is." he says with a shrug. He smiles lightly, "I'll tell him I'm a med student or something, saw you were hurt, and offered to fix you up for free, that way he doesn't need to worry about any bills or anything." he says with a shrug and laugh, having his own thoughts to who had hurt her. He looks at her seriously though for a moment, and says in a quieter voice, "And I'll protect you if he decides to get violent again, I promise." he says with a smile, winking at her. He wouldn't give her his oath as a knight or anything, he didn't think offering his sword to her service would matter anything, and she probably wasn't even royal or noble anyways, so it wouldn't matter. Just a promise from one person to another for now, would have to do.

Kali took the phone gingerly, looking at it in silence as her thing fingers traced over the face of it. "I'll have to repay you.." She said softly. Kali didnt like just taking things from people, she didnt feel she deserved it. Her hands opened the sleak phone, the bright light from the screen making her blink. Of course Kali knew how to use it, she just had never had one. She wasnt allowed. Kali would have to hide it on her person at all times. "Thank you Vincent." Her voice was a little louder, as her odd violet eyes stared up at him. When he explained why he would rather not be called Sir Kali frowned. "Im sorry.... I've always called knights by thier proper name... it is in my nature, having been brought up that way..." Her voice was apologetic.
Kali crawled onto Blakes back as her hands took hold of his mane. She had been riding bare back, no tack at all. "I cant wear a sling... i just cant...." she said softly, pained about it. "I love working with my horses..." Kali had always called them her horses, for no one else cared about them. She was left to clean and feed about 50 horses. His promise to keep her safe made her blush in embarrassment. "I'll be fine." She said in a strong tone, even though it faltered. As they walked it was silent, and about five minutes later they were in the stable, Blake stopping and shaking his mane about. Kali whispered her apologies to him and slid off, almost falling.

Vincent yawns as they walk, feeling old for some reason, stretching as they entered the stable, his hands darting out to gently steady her on her descent. He pulls them away with a smile, "Don't worry about repayment or anything, or about being raised to address knights properly. It was the first time, so I'll let it pass, and I don't need to be repayed, it's just what I do." he says with a smile again, winking at her, leaning against the wall and crossing his arms, watching her. "And you're going to wear a sling, for one week, or else that arm's just going to be worse off than it was before." he says seriously, with the hints of a smile. "I'll stick around and help you out here, and to make sure the sling stays on, but you'll still work and everything of course." he says with a smile, trying to make it easier for her.
He moves down the row of stables slowly, patting the horses lightly as he went, observing each one, committing them to memory. After a moment, he returns to Kali, leaning against the wall and smiling again, "Well, if you really want to repay me for the phone, let me do this then at least, alright? I love horses, it's been a very long time since I rode, or looked after them, so it'll be fun for me, alright?" he says with a smile, trying to strike a deal to help ease her own concerns about him helping her, but asking nothing in return. Hopefully she'd accept and just leave it at that, and everything would be good. He wouldn't mind working here, it had been a long time since he'd been a stable boy, and he'd enjoy the physical work that it involved, and working beside his mysterious new friend. He didn't know anything about her, but already felt attached to her, like a little sister that he was meant to protect.

Kali blushed at his help, giving a soft thank you to him when she had sent Blake off to his stall. The horse walked in and got comfortable without protest as she walked over, shutting and locking the door. "I think i do..." her voice was quiet as she watched him walk down the isle, touching each horse. Kali shoved the phone into her pocket and sniffled, her nose running. "And for the last time im not wearing a sling." Her voice was hard, her eyes darker. "I dont care if its worse. Im already screwed up." Kali turned away from him and went to the feed room, coming back with two buckets full of grain in each hand. Her shoulder screamed in protest but her face, not even her eyes showed it. She stopped in the middle of the isle, taking one bucket and emptying half in one horses feed bowl and the other half into a different bowl. Kali repeated this, going back to fill the buckets up again until each horse had grain.
When that was finnished she got out the grooming box that held everything needed. She held it out to Vincent. "Here.... Have a ball. I normally would do it but im behind... i have to get other major things done before Master notices....." kali murmered and set off to mucking out to stalls. It strained her muscles, her arms trembling everytime she lifted more weight than they could handle, but she got it done. She was determined not to wear that sling. Her Master would only be upset about her not being able to do the work.

Vincent says, moving over to her, and picking her off the ground, holding her up, looking at her in mock anger, "Now sit, and stay!" he says, fighting a smile. "You're only making your arm worse dammit! Too stubborn for your own good!" he laughs as he gently lowers her, giving her a light hug to show her he wasn't really angry. "Now just sit, will you? I'll do the work for you, just wait until I'm gone if you insist on keeping on this way." he says with a smile, offering her another bargain. He sets off down the aisles, refilling the water for the horses, keeping an eye on Kali, making sure she didn't exert herself too much, not that he'd stop her if she did, afterall.
After he finishes up, he lays down new hay for the horses, enough to make them comfortable, and he noted with satisfaction that the fine edge hadn't left his muscles as he easily hefted the bales, moving along the lines easily, before sitting down beside Kali, smiling at her, draping a friendly arm across her shoulders softly. "Well then, lovely Kali, what's next?" he asks with a smile, winking at her, withdrawing his arm as he realizes she was probably uncomfortable. "perhaps you'd care to swap stories of our pasts? I've taken enough of a liking to you to tell you my history, if you'd like." he says with a smile, a genuine one telling his honesty. "Why do you work in the stables for a brutal master, if you're a vampire? You're worth so much more than this, you know that don't you?" he asks softly, watching her with concern in his eyes, his mind thinking of ways to get her out of this situation.

Kali nearly cried out when he picked her up, her body trembling in fright. Her master treated this way and made her think that Vincent was going to hurt her. Maybe he was going to. Maybe she shouldnt have trusted him. But he put her down, and hugged her. Kali didnt understand the gesture and couldnt understand why he had just yelled at her, then hugged her. So to prevent further confusion Kali agreed and went to go sit infront of Blake's stall. She was silent, her eyes growing heavy now that she was allowed to sit still. Two to three hours of sleep a night, everyday but sunday really began to sink in. No sleep and all work took its toll on the small girl. She rested heavily on the door, drifting in and out of conciousness. As soon as she was asleep Vincent came by and say next to her, making her jump into awakedness.
"Whats next...?" She asked softly. "Oh... Well they need to be groomed and fed..." she couldnt remember which one of those things she did. Then Kali realized he was talking about something else. "Oh... you go first... mine isnt great and will most likely only depress you." Her voice was clearly tired as her violet eyes were half closed. "I am a vampire... i just dont feel like one... I dont know how to use my powers... i dont know how to fight.... I have never had to use that side of me..." Kali was useless to the vampiric commnity, and was a terrible examplie of a creature of the night.

Vincent waves his hand in the air, smiling lightly. "Hey, no worries. Every vampire is different, I don't expect everyone to know how to fight. I do, because that was the era I was raised in. My father was the Lord of our village's best knight, and he wanted me to take after him, so I was raised to fight as soon as I could stand. My brother was born four years after I was, and my parents devoted more time trying to raise him, instead of training me. I was left on my own, but with no real friends, I spent most of my time alone reading and training myself. Eventually I was relieved of my service as a squire to my father, and was promoted to knighthood, where I quickly rose in prestige, bringing my family much honor and fame, earning the approval of our lord." he says with a shrug, smiling softly at her.
"After awhile, I was sent on missions and such for my lord, doing some knightly quest or another, most I've forgotten honestly, and served him in many battles. Eventually, I was given my own land, added to our family estates, and I spent most of my time there, with my own little stables and all." he said with a smile, thinking back on those last happy days he had. "One day though, it all turned sour." he says softly, his expression becoming sad. "I returned home, finding my parents slaughtered, and my brother gone. I had no family, no friends, no significant other, and was left on my own. I nearly drank myself to death, hiding away from everyone, from everything." he says quietly, holding back his emotions, refusing to tread that road of sadness again. "I was consumed with despair, and my Lord sent me off to war, to die valiantly, as I knew I would, his final gift to me. In a sense, I did die there, in more ways than one." he says with a soft smile, blinking slowly.
"I fought as a man without a soul, many feeling the bite of my blade, my armor being torn asunder from the constant blows, the fields slick with blood. There, I found my brother, and the truth to the mystery of his dissappearance, and my family's murder. He had become a vampire, and slaughtered them as he'd been ordered by his master, and I threw myself at him, determined to take him to the depths of hell with me. I never had a chance. He sundered my shield, left my arm useless, and quickly beat me down. I would have died, for the wound he gave me, pierced my stomach, was a mortal one, but he chose a different path for me. He turned me, there on the dark battlefield, with dawn quickly approaching. I became one of the ilk that had slaughtered my family, and he left me with that parting knowledge, leaving me to die. He vanished, and I managed to crawl away, to heal, to live to hunt him, a new purpose to my life." he says softly, pointedly not looking at her, the pain still immense.
"I chased him through the pages of history, from continent to continent, war to war, clashing on a few occasions. The most recent was during world war two, but he escaped once more. After that, I abandoned my search, he'll be delivered to me when the fates decree it I suppose, and began to try and live a normal life again. I rebuilt my family's home which had fallen into ruin, modernized it, and began living a new life from there. I became a musician, as it had become a hobby over the years, and have managed to mostly forget my brother." he says with a sad smile, looking back at her. He brightens as a thought strikes him, "Hey! You should come stay with me sometime! You'd love it there, I know it! I have my own stables with horses, it's in the European country side, hidden away from almost everytown, in the mountain side really. The area around it is beautiful, and I'd love for you to see it sometime, I'll pay for you to get there and everything, I promise. We could both use a vacation!" he said with a grin, hoping against hope she'd accept. He hadn't reutrned home in a long while, but it was about time to return anyway, to relax, and avoid life for a few precious months.

Kali was silent, her head gently sliding across the wood to rest on Vincent's shoulder subconciously. It was the only semi soft thing in the area and her head seemed to be quite attracted to it. Her body relaxed for the first time in a long time, violet eyes fluttering closed as she listened to his story. It was one of interest, sorrow, and a sense of triumph. Her pale hand patted his leg in slight reassurence when she heard his tone grow strained. Kali didnt even have to open her eyes to know he was upset. "s'okay Vincent... My past isnt happy either." she said very softly, hanging in the balance of sleep and awakedness. When his outburst of excitement came she jumped, her eyes fluttered a little. "I cant leave here Vincent... im bound to this place for the rest of my immortal existance. Not to mention i like it here... The horses wouldnt get taken care of correctly either..... the stable would fall apart if i left...." her words were mumbled and mushed together. "But..." Kali's soft voice began to sing upon the wind once more. "I would love to visit you..."
Kali then let herself slip off into the sleep she hadnt gotten in so long. She knew that there was still work to be done and that if her master found her here there would be another beating in order. Her body already ached and she probably couldnt handle anymore. For a vampire, she was the most human immortal on the face of the earth. Her body fell to the side a little, her shirt allowing a peak of her chest. The cross tattoo was visable, and she would be sure that Vincent might be curious. A vampire that had a cross tattoo for as long as she could remember. For all she knew, she was born with it.
