Micah took a deep breath of the air. Fresh air. The damned city was still there, but the trees were far more intoxicating. He wanted to run, to bolt between the trees and have his muscles burn and lead the way. Not yet.
He began at a walk, his bare feet barely snapping over twigs. He was a predator. A feline. Though, this human body had always caused a problem. Life would be great if he could just walk around as a cat all day. Feel the wind against his thick fur, the pavement under his paws, and there could be deer. Lots of deer.
He didn't like the cities. Always made him trapped. Forget what happens during the day. In the beginning it was very odd to forget things. Always wondering how he arrived home when he felt he was just at the club, or how he was on the streets when he felt he was just racing between trees...It was really annoying at first, but over the years it just became...natural. Natural to forget...
He curled his toes in the dead leaves at his feet and leaned against a tree, hands holding him against it, and stretched his body. He felt the kinks in his muscles and bones tug and unwind.
His body was tired, but his brain was overjoyed. Excited to be back in the trees. Once again he wasn't sure what he did today. He only remembered being at the strip club last night and then a total blank...Peachy.
He flopped down on the ground and rubbed his cheek against the grass, rolling in the bed of leaves. He wanted to feel his fur, his paws. He felt the rumble in his chest as he started to purr. So relaxed he was...

Eve parked her sleek black Suzuki along the curb across the street from the park. Something was raising the hair on the back of her neck and she wanted to know what the hell it was. She slid off her bike and took her helmet off, leaving it on the seat. Then she put on her short leather jacket to keep away the chill of the strange power. The park loomed out in front of her and she stalked towards it with purely feline motion as she felt the strange power again. It was definately coming from the park. That's where she was headed then, fearless as ever.
As Eve stalked through the park carefully, she heard a noise in the distance. Was that...purring? It was. Eve smelled the air as she moved closer to the purring noise, it was a were-leopard. She took another breath in and wrinkled her nose. A MALE were-leopard. A chill went down Eve's spine and she slowed down a little. She didn't want to sneak up on the male, but she also knew that if he was any threat he would already know she was there. She just hoped he wasn't up to no good. Not that Eve really had any room to speak. She was never up to any good. She stopped at a line of trees, the purr loud in her overly-sensative ears now, and waited. Would he notice she was there?

He froze, wet leaves sticking to his bare upper body. He felt a power so familiar to him that he wanted to play. It wasn't a tiger, it wasn't a lion. No...it was another were-leopard. He rolled over on his stomach and got up on all four, yawning and stretching. His movement was so feline that if he had his tail it would be flicking.
His green eyes flicked into the direction of the other feline and he grinned, showing a little too much teeth. A playmate? A new playmate? The other were-leopards always cringed when he grinned, but he had flashes of memory of curling up with them some nights...Why when he grinned they would cringe from him? He wasn't that bad.
He stayed on all fours, rubbing his cheek against the nearest tree truck and his purr continued. "Hello, kitty."

Eve heard the other leopard rolling around and moved forward again, stayng just out of sight of him. She waited until he was still and then moved finally into the trees, stopping at the sight of him. Obviously this male was more comfortable as an animal judging by the sight of him down on all fours in the grass. he stayed out of his reach, not trusting him because she didn't know him. Her eyes were alert and her position was defensive. But she stayed still. There was a lot of power coming from this male and she didn't feel like testing him.
Eve's orange eyes blinked when he spoke. She supposed it shouldn't surprise her that he spoke it was natural and everything but he was just....strange. Eve crouched down, waiting for anything else. When he didn't move she responded with a simple, "Um, hello." Eve had seen weres crawling around in thier human skin before, but she assumed it didn't happen often. Maybe that was just her thoughts though. Eve prefered to be in one form or the other, mentality and all.

He looked to her at the sound of her movement and grinned again. Sitting, he leaned against the tree and bent on leg up to rest his chin on his knee. "So...leery. I don't bite...I think." His eyes narrowed as he thought over the missing pieces of his days, but he didn't think he bit.
"What brings you here?" He flicked his tongue out, tasting her power on his lips. She didn't feel like all the other were-leopards. She felt different to him. And that bothered him. "I'm Micah, were-leopard king..."
He wanted to rub his cheek against hers and taste more of that power. Test it. See where it ticks and where it came from. It bothered him that he could put his foot on it, but he felt he should know the power...
"You were born a feline?" He rolled his eyes up at her, narrowing them, and tongue flicking at his lips.

Eve's eyes widened slightly at the slightly strange way that the male was talking to her. There was definately something strange going on in this guys head. She cringed slightly as he introduced himself. Great, an alpha, just what she needed. But she didn't want to look weak, so she took a breath to calm herself and shut her nerves down mentally. "I'm here because of you I guess. I'm Eve." She shrugged, it was the truth. His power had given her a weird feeling so she came to see what it was.
Eve narrowed her eyes at him as he asked her if she was born this way. "Yeah, I was born a feline. So was my brother. Is that a bad thing?" Maybe he ran things differently than her father had. Eve had no idea how a real pard ran, her father's was the only pard she had ever been in and she had no plans of joining another one. Maybe other were-leopards didn't like it if someone was born that way. Not that it would matter to her. Unless this 'Micah' tried to attack her or something.

"Bad thing?" He shook his head. "No, it's not a bad thing. Not often I run across...us. Very rare." He shifted and sniffed the air. He saw the widening of her eyes and the way she cringed. It bothered him,but he let it pass...for now.
"Didn't mean to bring you here...Eve. Power just flares all over the place." He nodded to himself. "Father was a kitty, mother's a witch. Quite a good witch." He dropped his knee and shifted to lay on his stomach, propping his head on his arm. "Brother, huh? Never had a sibling. What's it like?"
His muscles were itching to get closer to her. To play with her. It's been a few days since he played with another were-leopard. The others are always busy. Sure, there were other felines, but he didn't like them as much as his leopards.

Eve was relieved that he seemed to be fine with her being born a were. In fact it seemed he was born the same way. That made her a little curious, but she wasn't going to ask any questons just yet. Eve always played her cards close and was careful when she interacted with other people. Especially other weres. They always made her edgy. "Oh....I suppose it's not technically your fault that I'm here, it's just your power. But whatever." She shrugged again.
So far Eve was a little weirded out by this alpha named Micah. He was nothing like her father or any of his friends had been. He seemed almost...child like, in a way. Or maybe he was just crazy. Eve didn't care as long as he kept his hands off of her. She smirked a little when he asked about her brother. "Well he's actually my twin. I guess if I had to explain what it's like, I would say he's the reason I live." Well Gabriel was also the reason she was still alive, but that was sort of personal and Eve didn't feel like talking about it to a stranger.

"Oooo Twin? Fraternal then. Do you get in lots of trouble that he has to fly in and save you?" He grinned at her and got up on all fours. His spine rippled and he wondered if one was watching would the skin be moving. He's never seen it and made a mental note of watching himself shift in a mirror someday.
He crawled a few feet forward and then stopped. He didn't want to scare her. Didn't want to fight with her. He only wanted to play and when it comes to playing he knew he only meant running through the trees, chasing and acting like leopards. He's never harsh and only does...other things if he was asked or given permission.
She didn't seem the type...
He flopped back to the ground and rolled on his back. "You ever ran with a pack before?"

Eve smirked, but it wasn't in humor. "Yeah, something like that." The truth was, Gabriel had saved her. He had saved them both on many occasions through thier lives. And neither one of them had come out of it a whole person. She watched this alpha carefully as he moved, not wanting to show weakness and move away, but if he got too close she was going to bolt.
She stood her ground and was glad when he stopped moving. "No. We weren't allowed to run in Vegas. Not really anyway, not like I think you mean." They had gone hunting now and then, but Eve's father had not been liberal with any of the pack. Even his favorites had been kept on a short leash. Eve turned abruptly as she felt something else in the air. Something familliar and right. She turned back to Micah with wide eyes. "You'll see, he's coming now."

Gabriel's orange leopard eyes glew orange as he leapt from the tree a few hundred yards away from them, his silk shirt billowing around him. Landing hard on the ground between Eve and the powerful male an echoeing ground shaking growl carried through the air as Gabriel rose slowly, placing his body between Eve and the alpha. Gabriel's upper and lower fangs were slightely extended as an aura wavered from his body. Gabriel had the strength of any alpha due to that was what he truly was by both power and blood.
Pacing around the male slowly his body moved as though no bones truly existed as he stopped between Eve and the male again. "I would take a step back kitty, Don't like to see tensed muscles around Eve. Makes me a little......nervous." Gabriel's body was twitching all over in expectation of a fight nd anticipation of the sweet sweet pain that would come from one if it broke out. "Seem like your a little fucked in the head, it'd take more to bring you down." Gabriel's hand isappeared behind his shirt and stayed there, his muscular body forming an immovable wall between the male and his sister. Gabriel was never stronger or faster than when he was defending Eve, she was all that he had.

"No running in Vegas?!" He spun back on his stomach. "What have you been missing!" He grinned then, almost a smile, and slowly stood to lean against the tree behind him. "The power in running with a full pack is...fun. Barely breathe, barely think, before all takes down a prey," he sighed and shook his head, "God, it's wonderful."
His smile dropped, eyes narrowing. Play time over already? He barely started...He looked in the direction just as Eve turned and sighed. A trouble-some power. He hated trouble-some powers. Always wanting his rank, his top...
The male leaped in between them and he never flinched. Never changed his expression. One second he was a giggling playful kitten and the next he was another male, protecting his pack and his rank.
His gaze followed the other male, but he made no sudden movements. He chuckled deep in his throat, instinct wanted to growl back, but he didn't...He held his hands out, palms open to show he would do no harm.
"Love the dramatic entrance. It reminded me of when Batman flies through the glass window to save the day. All you needed was the cape," he shifted his gaze for a moment at the trees, "and the glass." He chuckled at his little joke and crossed his arms. "Maybe a little fucked, but I wasn't going to lay a single finger on her. Touchie, touchie, touchie...I'm Micah, king were-leopard and you must be the twin." He held out his hand for a shake.

Eve stood close behind Gabriel, seeking the comfort that only her twin could bring her. She felt his anger and defensiveness and that also was familliar to her. Ever since they had gotten away, Gabriel had instantly been ready to attack any male that ever came near Eve. She was glad he was here now. This alpha was a little off somehow and it was making her uncomfortable. Eve had an issue with alpha males.
Her eyes, identical in color to her twins, stared in the same direction. But where her expression was cautious and gaurded, she was sure her brother's was still aggressive. Eve watched silently and observed the interaction and responses between her brother and Micah. If there was going to be a fight she didn't want to be in the middle of it. It wouldn't be the first time Gabriel had attacked a stranger for talking to her. But she hoped it wouldn't come to that. Fighting an alpha in a city this big would be bad news for them both.

Gabriel sized the maleup but didn't remove his left hand from behind his back. The right hand however slammed hard into the male's outstretched and hand squeezed, energy between the two males instantly colliding due to dominant personalities. Gabriel flashed his double set of fangs as his aggressive stand never changed. "Except for the fact that I'd rip batman's arms out of joint and drop him off a sky scraper. Could he use his utility belt then I wonder?" Gabriel nodded his head once as he stepped back.
Glancing over his shoulder at Eve he made sur nothing was wrong with her and lookedback at the male. "I'm the twin, brother, father figure, gaurdian, what the fuck ever you wanna call me." Gabriel's left hand was still immobile behind his back before he slowly slid the sawed-off shotgun from his pants and held it limp at his side. "Eve, are you hurt?" Gariel's eyes drifted to the sawed-off and ack to the male. "I don't care for alphas, neither does Eve. Had alot of bad run-ins with alphas who thought they were gods on our travels, lots died, few live.....don't fuck withus and we won't you. And don't worry, Idon't want or need a pard to worry over." Gabriel's eyes held with the alphas showing he was telling the truth, besides the fact that they could smell lies.

Micah chuckled. "I really don't know. Probably not." He dropped his hand but he didn't step back. He stayed where he was, narrowing his eyes. "A little too overprotective. You know, little Eve just isn't little anymore," he said and grinned, flicking his gaze to the female leopard behind the male.
She was attractive, but leopards...Just wasn't his style. Hence why he still was queen-less. Always those females looking for the damn spot and not him. His queen needs to be strong and not shy...Maybe even a little crazy...
He looked to the shotgun and sighed, shaking his head. If he had his fur it would have stood up. His back rippled and he felt his own power slide over his skin, urging to just shift and shred this trouble-some male. He was having a good time in the park before they came along.
"You should relax. If you just jump into every situation and look to it bad...You won't survive. I didn't touch a single claw on little Eve and I never planned to." He shook his head. "Just no fun that way..."
