He wouldn’t be lying of Dominick was concerned and slightly confused. She wasn’t allowed to leave this place she called home? From that sound of her explanation it sounded like she was bound to this place and her parents were the lead cause of her problems…especially with the testing stuff she was talking about. He was eager in hearing that she was going to tell him where her home was…he had to see this place that she just…couldn’t leave. He tilted his head slightly to the right when she said that she wished she was a different person. “You should always be happy with who you are..even if the road gets tough…I know this for sure…” He was cut off though as she repositioned herself to a seated position and quickly moved to the side of the bed as she seemed to be getting dizzy. The pain swept across her face again and her strained his eyes for her.
He crouched down so he was eye level with her as she was sitting on the bed. As she asked for some medicine he gave her a quick nod. “Yea sure no problem,” he replied, rounding the bed and approaching the door, giving her a cunning look before disappearing around the corner and losing contact with her eyes. He opened the hospital room door and the nurse that had given them a hard time earlier was just on the other side of the hall. “Hey could we get some aspirin or something…Kali isn’t feeling very well.” She ignored him for a few moments before he cleared his throat. “Well,” he asked, his deep monotone voice growing slightly aggravated again. “Maybe she shouldn’t have taken off her oxygen. Maybe she shouldn’t have visitors this late…maybe she should sleep!”
Dominick nodded slowly and laughed. “Maybe lady you should get another career. Can she have the aspirin or not?” She groaned and tapped her foot the same way she had done before. “In the cabinet right above the sink in the room.” He rolled his eyes in response and headed back in, closing the main door behind him. “The wicked witch of the west said you could have them,” he commented once he entered again, pouring two pills out into his hand and grabbing a plastic cup before filling it with water. He came back to her bedside with the two in hand and urged her to take them.

Dominick come to her side, his eyes slightly worried about her. It was a sweet gesture. Her eyes tried hard to focus on the male face, straining. None the less he agreed to getting her some pills. "Thanks.." She said in almost as whisper as the room spun. Kali leaned back against the wall, the sharp beeping of the heart monitor next to her made her head pound and the room spin faster. For a moment she felt sick, but her heart beat slowed for some reason, making her look up at the unfoucused green line on the machine. "Okay.." she said softly and sighed when Dominick came back in.
"I kinda heard.." She said, recalling something about Kali not supposed to be off oxygen. "just... just ignore her..." Kali looked to his face, then tried to follow his arm down to his hand in an attempt to find the pills. She blinked a few times, finally spotting the two white pills. "Thank you..." her heand reached, but missed. Kali's icy fingers had brushed his tumb so she had an idea od where it was now. The second time, she got it. Her pale hand touched his, taking the pills and poping them into her mouth. Then, with both hands she took the cup carefully, taking a few sips to swallow the pills. Kali drank the rest of the water and sighed happily at the cool rush against her burning throat. She then leaned back, waiting for the pills to go to work. "I hope it doesnt take long.." she said gently.

He nodded in response to her comments of hearing the conversation her and the nurse outside. “I guess we were a bit loud huh? She just pisses me off…and I won’t listen to her.” He gave her a gentle wink and watched as she mustered up the energy to take the two pills that would hopefully save her from her discomfort. As her fingers gently collided with the rough palm of his hand he could only smile at her touch. “They’ll work fast…it’s hospital meds…they better work fast.” He didn’t move back to the seat and instead just stood tall next to the bed, looking down at her as he hoped the small little pills would work at her weakness and not just her dizzy or her headache. Maybe those little pills could free her from this whole place…this entrapment.
“You remind me of my wife,” he blurted out, looking down at his ring finger with the small little tattoo perfectly displaying her name underneath of his finger. “I’m sorry that was pretty random wasn’t it?” He pulled a smile at his face, there were many things that differentiated Kali from his now deceased wife Sara. But their eyes, not necessarily the color for they were dramatically different, but instead how they glistened in the light when they looked at him.
Dominick you’re looking too far into this, stop living off a dream of a hope. No one can replace Sara.
He fought back the voices and gave her a quiet smile. “You gotta get outta here though…just so you can show me around town right,” he noted, trying his best to steer away from the subject.

About two minutes passed, and there werent quite as many Dominicks. Only two now. "They do work fast thank god..." Kali sighed softly and realized her body was begining to regain its strength. She could move a little easier, the dizziness and the annoying throb began to subside. Kali looked at the heart monitor, her heart beat normal. "I will be out of here soon... If you can find nurse Nancy after my headache is gone she will sign my release papers... Shes a kind old lady. She cared for me alot last month." Kali said softly, reaching up and combing her fringers through her messy hair. As silence fell between them Kali distracted herself with happy thoughts of Blake.
Dominicks next comment caught her off gaurd, her fingers pausing half way through a chunk of raven black hair. "You have a wife..?" She asked curiously, looking up at him with sparkling violet eyes. "I'm sure shes very pretty." Kali said politely. "Oh dont worry about it.... im a little random myself." Her voice cracked and she cleared her throat. That was odd, but nothing to worry about. Kali was dressed under her gown and just took it off, folding it up perfectly on the first time with no problem. She then muted the heart monitor and reached under her shirt and peeling off the strong stickers on the soft skin of her chest. "Ow ow ow.." she muttered until the two wires hung limpy from the side of the bed. "Just go find Nancy and she will break me out of here." Kali looked up at him, her eyes wide and innocent.

Dom listened with surprise to hear that she suddenly was gaining so much energy so quickly. He also made sure to listen to her reaction when he had spoke of his wife and smiled to hear that she was just as random. Dom typically made a point to be straightforward and to think about what he said before he said things; this was why he was so surprised those words had just been blurted out. But he was glad that the conversation quickly fled the mind of both of them and she listened to her demands of going to find this “Nurse Nancy” as she quickly put forth the job of disconnecting herself from the machines around her. He watched her toughness as the machines did their best to latch onto her, even if she fought with them to let her go.
“Nancy? Do you know how many nurses there might be in this hospital named Nancy?” He gave a slight chuckle and approached the door. “But I’m sure I can find just the right one huh?”
He laughed and opened the door to see a woman on the other side, just about to walk in. She was a slightly portly woman, with spectacles at the brim of her nose and she looked to be the spouse of Santa Claus she was so kind looking. “I heard my name,” she noted. He gave her a look of disbelief and grabbed the woman’s forearm, bringing her farther into the room to show Kali. “See how amazing I am? My mere voice draws the right person to me.”
The nurse shook her head. “Kali this is one handsome fellow…how come you never introduced me before huh?” Dom smiled and let his arm wrap around the woman’s shoulders who seemed to enjoy it. “My masculinity prevails,” he said, giving Kali an amused face before letting Nancy move forward and take a look at her patient.

"Aw Nancy its not what you think..." Kali blushed a bright pink that graced her soft cheek bones. She watched as Nancy fussed over her, making sure everything was okay and that the wound on her ribs was set to heal properly. "Oh..." Nancy looked a little upset by that. "well i still think a good man would do you good. He could bring up your self esteem and maybe help with your shyness." Kali only rolled her eyes, a soft smile on her face as she still blushed. "I think about it Nancy, but you know it would never work..." Kali gave the old woman a knowing look, Nancy nodded in understanding. Nancy knew what Kali was, and seemed to be like a grandmother to her of sorts. The fragile woman leaned in and whispered in Kali's ear. "Dont let him get away. He's very handsome." Kali laughed softly. "I'll try." She replied, but didnt seem to think much more of it.
The little lady moved over and checked the memory on the heart monitor, ignoring the flat line that had been running. "You look good enough. I shall go get your papers. I'll be back in a jiffy." And with that like woman shuffled out of the room, Kali left with a smile on her face. "She is so sweet to me..." Her eyes looked to the window. It was almost dusk. "And thank you Dominick... For sticking around and all..." Her cheeks gained that pinkish color once more.

Dom crossed his arms and leaned toward the back of the room, watching the nurse work her magic with Kali. She knew just what she was looking for and what was important. She was an expert at her craft and she seemed to know Kali very well. As they whispered to each other in silence Dom was interested in their exchange of words but kept to himself, obviously aware that it was something he was to be kept from. He watched with amusement as the woman left, giving him an intriguing glance before disappearing out of sight.
He listened to the fact that the woman was kind to Kali and he was glad that there was one nurse that didn’t piss anyone off. “I wouldn’t mind having her around at all,” he noted with a nod. His muscles expanded slightly as he kept his arms crossed, as if revealing them to the rest of the world, exposing and flaunting them for all to see. “You can call me Dom…and it wasn’t any trouble. I’m not on a trail or anything…” He caught himself quickly talking about the werewolf hunt and bit his lip. “…Trail…of finding a place to stay that is.”
He smirked at his cover up and let out a quick sigh, walking over to her side and looking out the window, wondering where he was going to end up being in a few hours out in the city with no roof over his head. But he didn’t let the worry show and let his happiness that she was getting out of the hospital be expressed on his face.
He approached the standing Kali slowly and noticed the slightly pink tint to her cheeks. He stared into her eyes, towering over her, and he felt as if his face was inching closer and closer to hers. It was then that the door opened and Nurse Nancy stood in the hallway, grinning from ear to ear.

"Okay then Dom. Thankies." She smiled sweetly, the childish tone being absolutely aborable for it fit her features well. Kali was streatching and even yawned softly as her muscles were stiff from being in bed for two weeks. He seemed to slip up on something and her eyes looked at him curiously before she dismissed it. Kali didnt really mind what he meant. "Well... I could probably let you stay at the stable in my room if you wanted..." She said softly, being kind and offering up the room she never used. It always went untouched as she stayed in Blakes stall most nights unless she was busy. Kali noticed how tall he was compared to her, and she felt very insignificant.
While she was looking up at him, wondering why on earth she had to be so short Kali noticed that his gaze was on her, making her blush a bit more. He seemed inticed by her eyes, and she couldnt understand why. Sure they were a funny color but he seemed to find something else in them. it was then that Kali noticed he was leaning closer and wondered if he was going to kiss her. Just then, before she could figure out Nancy opened the door. Kali snapped her head in that direction and blushed an even deeper red. "Oh Kali, I knew it!" She tapped a winkled finger to her temple. "Awww Nancy... Dont embarass me now will you...?" Kali asked softly, walking over to her and taking the papers. She was free to go now, and Kali huged Nancy, promising another visit. It was inevitable anyways. "We can leave now Dom.." She said softly, standing in the door way. The lights made her marble skin glitter slightly.

Dom was more than eager to hear that he could stay with Kali. Any place at all was more than he had already and he was extremely grateful. Just as their lips were about to touch the door had opened.
Dom saw the old woman out of the corner of his eye and laughed when she noted that she knew there was a romance going on between the two of them. Dom shook his head and smiled as Kali quickly shuffled across the room to grab the papers and hug the woman. “Can’t hide these things from me Kali…” “I don’t know why she even tried Ms. Nancy,” Dom said, following behind Kali and feeling extremely comfortable with the lady. “Treat her right Dom Dom,” she said, smacking his arm lightly. “That hurt,” Dom commented, eager to get out of the room that had held them hostage for hours now.
“Yes mame,” he said, giving her a brief hug which she relished with all of her heart. Dom quickly exited the room, seeing Kali already a little bit down the hallway. Together they made their way out of the hospital and together they went wherever the road would take them. [Meh end scene?]
