Abigail gave out a bark of laughter as she started to walk towards the house. "I really do wish you would call me Abigail. It saves a lot of time." Abigail responded to Coin, turning her head so she could see the golden wolf. She started to lengthen her stride into a powerful run. Each foot fall sent a vibration to through the ground, knowing that each wolf on the esate would feel their movement and hear their mental conversation.
Abigail felt Alana lean down against her back, the wind was chilly tonight. The white wolf made sure not to jostle the child too much as she ran up the paved drive towards the colonial style home. It wouldn't be good if Alana fell from her back. Abigail moved with grace as she padded up the drive way, the trees moving past her.

Alana beamed into Abigail's fur as she gripped a handful in each of her tiny fists. She couldn't wait until she was old enough to tranform at will, than she would be able to run and play without Abigail's help. Alana looked up, squinting her eyes so she could see through the crisp breeze. The house wasn't that far and it always seemed to be a bit closer when Abigail ran.
The small child watched as the curve in the road came and she could see pavement turning into stone. They were there. They finally made it to the house. "Come on, Coin! The foods ready!" Alana yelled out as she started to see the house. It was beautiful, almost as if Alana hadn't been there in a thousand years. She felt safe now, safer than she could ever feel, and that was when her eyes closed for sleep.

The semi-fresh air was wonderful as he ran. Up here the wind blew, meaning that the air moved and remained refreshing. It was beautiful. He ran, letting his paws hit the pavement and stones, hearing every thought and feel on the air between wolves in the clan. So alive! New York was a lively town, one that never stopped. But it didn’t mean that it wasn’t dull. The monotone of the human life dragged on and on, the new, excited voices of the wolves were new. He could hear them and their curiosity. A new wolf? Where did he come from, he smelt funny, would he stay, how did he get here… he could hear it all.
Then he smelled the air again, mouth watering. Food, real food, not far ahead. Alana was already going on about it, jumping off Abigail’s back and running inside. It was so cute, he had to smile with his dog-face.
La… Abigail. Thank you. This is truly very kind of you to allow me in for the night. I hope I do not disappoint you. Your clan seems interested, has it been long since a new wolf has crossed their path? He started to shift back, feeling bones pop and crackle back into place.

"It has been quite some time actually. We try to stay apart from other wolves. They do not agree with the ways my clan has set up over the years." Abigail stated as she stood in her human shape, Alana safely nestled in her arms. A plump woman came out wearing a white apron and smelling of all the food that had been prepared for dinner tonight. Abigail smiled at the woman as she was told dinner was on that table.
"Aly, sweetie? Do you want to eat?" Abigail whispered into the childs' ear. Alana just moaned and moved her face under Abigails' blond curls. It was such a cute moment that Abigail just pulled the child closer and chuckled. "Please, come with me, Coin." Abigail smiled as she motioned towards the colonial home. It was large, standing on two point five acres that was part of the twenty-five acre estate. The smell of food wafted through the open door way and it made Alana move to open her eyes.

"Is dinner ready?" Alana yawned as she was sat down in the entry way. It was than that her sleepy mind remembered Coin. "Come on!" Alana exclaimed, suddenly awake and rushing to grab hold of Coins' hand.
"It's alright. I'll help you!" Alana smiled brightly as her tiny fingers gripped around the hand of the larger wolf. Abigail was chuckling as she stood with the door open. Alana knew that there had been another female lycan come out to greet them but she was already back inside. Probably setting another place at the table for their guest.

They did? Colin couldn’t help but wonder how her clan was set up that others would avoid it. He’d ask her later, after dinner, when Aly was asleep. Right now he was going to just enjoy the company. Laughing a bit as Aly slowly woke back up, only to jump around with excitement and grab his hand. Children, they were amazing. He though vaguely to his sister. She had been so young when he turned; he only remembered how she feared him. She had grown up afraid and hating her older brother. He never got to know her. How he wished he had. Poor thing was dead now, but such was life. Aly was like her though, bubbly.
“Alight Aly, alright. I’m coming. Where would you like me to sit, hmm? And dinner smells good! What does your cook do, it’s making me hungry. I’m sure she’s wonderful.” It did smell good. He was used to eating dead things, thrown out food, or cheep imitation McDonalds stuff. A real meal, the thought of it made his mouth water. That, too had been a long time ago.

Abigail laughed now as she watched Alana pulled Coin towards the door. The child was strong but not strong enough to pull a mature male anywhere he didn't want to go. "Our cook works all day preparing different foods. She hunts herself for the meats and goes shopping or gathering for the other things. She has asked me to have a garden put in at the back of the house and I did not deny her that luxory. Ever since she has grown the rest of her supplies." Abigail explained gently as she glanced into and smelled deeply the food.
Abigail could not have asked for a better home and company. Her clan was more than that. They were all family under one roof. No one being denied desires of their hearts. Abigail made sure of such things and helped when she could or when she had to. It was Alana who was always in on the action, Abigail noted. The young child was indepentent and brave, well behaved and well cared for by everyone. The only thing that bothered Abigail was the childs' inability to hate a soul and wish for every one elses happiness above her own.

Alana smiled brightly as she continued to tug on Coins' arm to try to get him to move. "Come on, Coin! You can sit by me!" Aly bubbled and pulled once more. Her blond curls bounced around her face and cascaded onto her shoulders. She was full of life and she could feel the wolf inside her pulling with all her strength against the strength of the male wolf in front of her. It was slightly intimidating and irritating.
"You're strong!" Alana decided to announce as she gave up on the tugging and decided to wait. She was already tired, she didn't need to fall asleep in her food from the exertion she just pulled trying to get Coin into the house.
