Parallel Universe's?

I was watching this movie: Dark Floors or something (btw, the beginning was interesting but the middle and ending sucked) and the character's step into a hospital elevator, go down, but then get stuck between floor 6 and 7 I believe and when they get the doors open the whole hospital is abandoned. From there they are now in a parallel universe (the monster things wanted the man's daughter).

Anyhow, do you believe in a parallel universe?

If not, or still if so, how do you think it would be possible to escape from the parallel universe and return back to your own universe?

I do not believe in a parallel universe but if that ever did happen to me, I wouldn't doubt it for a second. Do you think that really if they had just gotten back in the elevator and went up again they could have traveled backwards and made it back to their own universe? Instead the character movies (against my shouted suggestions) kept trying to go down and down. I would have gotten back in and tried to go up. Ya think that would work? lol.

Lol. True that, true that. Really, you don't think staying in the elevator and going back up wouldn't have brought them back? How do you suggest getting back into the same reality? I should check out that anime, lol.

Have you seen The Mist by Stephen King? I was watching that a few days ago and the mad scientists too had opened up some portal to another reality, but instead of cool things there were crazy flesh eating bugs and monsters.

I think I'd rather stay in my reality except if there is a reality out there with a planet full of straight men lacking females.

If there were a parallel universe and it were an endless void. I wouldn't want to go. I'd do everything I could to leave. Which pretty much consist of me yelling "Fuck!" and "Jebus? A little help here..."

Strange though it feels to agree with the Janitor, I too am not a believer. Like aliens, fairies and God, they seem to me completely bonkers. However, I'd be very happy to be proven wrong. It'd be great fun... maybe. I'd like to find one where the Roman Empire lasted until the modern day... *bliss*
