Rant me? *Gasps*

First off I am not trying to disrespect anyone or hurt peoples feelings or what not. I would also like calm, collected opinions and answers if people so choose to answer this. Any sarcastic, smart ass, or rude remarks by anyone, be it staff or otherwise, will get the same in return as the golden rule goes "Treat others the way you want to be treated"

Lets discuss, I find the lack of interest on this sites staff appalling on many levels. Granted, Isi is gone and can only get on maybe a couple hours a day if she is lucky. Others have school, work, etc I agree that one can not be completely devoted to the site and I am not blaming people for not being on a whole lot. However, of the Staff that are on every day none take it into their own hands to look at Bio's, look at other things that needed to be done.

More than this is the unwillingness to cooperate with the members on what they think would be worth trying at least which would take little to no effort on the staff's part. They seem to argue just so they do not have to do more work on the site, so they can go do whatever else. Again I am not flaming anyone, harassing anyone, or trying to disrespect anyone.

It just seems to bother me that they are not willing to go out of their way to help members unless it has a use for them. I used to be staff on multiple sites, and busted my ass to get things moving when they needed to. First as a member, then as a Moderator, and Finally as a Co-Administrator I was willing to listen to complaints from members, ideas , etc and convey them to other staff and have them do that. I also made sure that I was on top of Bio's and things that needed to be approved.

Now my big gripe is that some people have been waiting for weeks to get an ancient approved, or even get it moved. There are 3 Administrators, Some one should be moving those to an application board, and trying to get the vote of other two. I know there are also people who come on at different times, so I do not see them as active as others, but thats still no reason to let so many things go unturned so to speak. I just feel that we as the members should have a right to post idea's and not have them shot down right away because the staff just does not feel like doing anything and from my own eyes, thats why so many have either left or are no longer active. For the site to grow as a whole, it has to start from top to bottom.

This site has always seemed to have issues with staff members. Some of them weren't very friendly, others were lazy. Granted, we have the staff here that do what they're suppose to, but we also have those who don't.

I agree full on. I mean I know Isi is busy but some just don't seem to want to help out. Like the global mod would pm me about something and I also don't wanna be rude or disrespectful but I think it is supposed to be the admin's job to inform me what I should do and not to do. No offense to the staff. I voted too.

Right... so we're going to rant about this site's staff, where they can see it. Prize for intelligence, right there.

And on to my rebuttal of your accusations. We just are rejecting DarkLycan's idea, not any that is presented. We've given our reasons on the thread. Mine were mostly from my point of view as a member not staff. Deal. What he should have done is present the idea to the staff first, rather than just shoving it out there for the world. Then we could have told him how feasible it was and point out how such ideas have FAILED MASSIVELY in the past before he started a huge debate about it. There would have been less hassle and childishness.

And on to Ancients and such... once they are moved to the staff room, they take a while because we have to discuss them. This is the way here and we discuss them thoroughly. Again, deal.

And Tia... staff is staff. You break rules, you are told you broke rules. What does it matter by whom? The rules are the same.

Right, and lastly. Apologies if I seem a little tetchy and annoyed. I've just got back, it's nearly 3am, and I log on to see if there is anything I need to do on here, when I could be sleeping, and oh look, I find a lot of rant about how I and my fellow staff are not doing our jobs. Well thanks for that. I now waste a chunk of my evening explaining myself... hang on. Why am I explaining myself to you? Hell if I know. Bleh.

I'm locking this thread. Sorry. It may not be in the rules, but criticising anyone on the site in the rant room is bad form. I'd say the same were it about a member, staff or anyone on site. This is not a polite thing to do, however politely you have managed to phrase it. Thank-you, and goodnight.

First off, that is highly insulting to all staff members!

Your third paragraph was highly uncalled for and certainly unnecessary, and I am not saying that just because I am the administrator, or perhaps, because, I am. You simply can not take one incident, one incident, and then declare all staff un-fit.

It took a damn lot of effort to put this site up. The bio forms are all nice and neat. A new list of powers have even been created, giving were species new and unusual powers, not to mention more allowances for humans. Staff did not have to do that. Nor do staff have to go and help people out with the codes and tell them the code names, how to work the code names, make graphics for their site or their signatures. But staff do that anyways.

As for ancient bio's, they need to be looked over and talked about with all staff members. It's not usually an answer of 'yes' or 'no'. Things must be discussed.

If anyone has a problem with staff, ANYONE, then you are free to leave. I'm not chaining anyone to the site.
