She stood silently, watching the ongoing trafic that never seemed to quit. Dark curls rolled across her back in a wave-like current. The breeze felt good on her skin, it was a quiet night and the wind was not nipping at her nose, it was actually rather nice. The moon above her was almost completely full, and her veins pulsed within her, anticipating what was to come on the eve of tomorrow night. One sharp pain shot through her forearm, making her eyes water in response. She had gotten used to the endless thrumming of pain, but the surprise attacks still got her to shed some tears. Her tiny arms snapped to her sides, brushing against the fake pink fur that covered the cheap jacket she had received at good will. It kept her warm, but it also made her feel like a child, which she absolutely was not...atleast mentally. Another pain shot through her arm, and the first tear slid from her eyes. She blamed it on the cold, but she knew that it was the torture she always faced when the moon came to its fullest point...how she dreaded that day.
Her tiny feet pushed her forward as soon as the flow of traffic died down a tad. She reached the other side of the street in a matter of moments, and continued down southward, towards another intersection. More stinging pain erupted from within her, but she managed to fight back and keep her cool. She didn't want drama today, she just wanted to get home, well to the only home she knew. Central Park was a few blocks away, but twilight was coming on quickly, meaning the searing pain would start soon. Maybe if she waited out the night in an alleyway, she would be less likely to be spotted by a concerned woman, or a vengeful hunter. Biting her lip, she turned the opposite direction of where she had been originally heading. An alley would suit her just fine for tonight, and besides, she had a new toy she had been planning to check out anyways. Best to do that in the comfort and safety of an abandoned alley than at an overpopulated park. She winced as new pain began to form in her fingertips. Tonight would be tough, but tomorrow night would be even tougher.

She's been down this road before. Everything was the same as when she'd seen it last time. Well... not exactly the same, but you get the idea. The wind nipped at her arms, as she didn't wear a jacket or sweater or even a long-sleeved shirt. But it wasn't her fault, alright? She'd planned out what was more important, and clothes came after food. So unless she knew for sure that she would have enough money for food, she didn't buy any extra clothes. And besides, all she really needed were a t-shirt, shorts, pants, and maybe a sweater; she was only missing one, which didn't really matter until the cold really came and gave her a chill.
She continued walking down the road, ignoring the honking cars go by. She'd gotten used to the noise a few months after running away to New York. At first it bugged her, even pissed her off to an extent, but then soon she began to ignore it, letting the noise simply fade into the background... a bit like background music people hear in the movies. Only this music was so much more boring.
Going passed a dark alleyway, she noticed someone sitting there, alone in the blackness. She stopped, wondering what it was. Slowly, slowly, slowly, she began to step toward the being and soon she saw that it was a girl. A very young girl, by the look of things. "Hello?" she asked, pondering if she was going to answer back.

He'd been following the human for a little while now, and Dark was starting to get restless. Why couldn't she just disappear into an alley, so he could strike her down?! He'd been moving rapidly along the roof tops above her, when she suddenly stopped. Croughing down, only his eyes visible, he watched her move towards an alley up ahead. Moving closer to the edge of the alley, he peered down, to see a small girl sat alone in the alley. He closed his eyes, sniffing the air and reopened them. His smell became his vision, and both of them gave off their own trail. The human gave off a light clear orange trail, but this little girl gave off the blood red trail. A werewolf.
The little girl looked no older than 8, and he wondered how she was a werewolf. Could she be a pure blood, born a werewolf? Or is she bitten? Either way, his human would get close enough to be bitten. Standing up, he took a small stone off the roof and threw it down at the human. As it landed near her, he stepped off the edge of the roof, dropping towards the ground at the other end of the alley. As he landed, he immediately rolled to the side of the alley, behind a dumpster. She may of seen him landed, but she wouldn't be able to see him now. Peeking round the side of the dumpster, he watched what was happening.

Her ears twitched as a stone dropped before her. The human made her heart race, she smelled so...delicious. The girl cursed herself as she had realized what she had fantasized. She shouldn't be feeling this now, not when the moon wasn't...
Her head snapped up immediately and gazed up at the moon, which was swollen and large. The giant craters resting upon the moon's surface made it look like a resting man, but to someone like her, it meant a night full of torture.
The moon was full.
No wonder the pain had already begun its process of getting worse. It was focusing in her fingertips, but soon it would spread, with it the curse of her unwanted heritage. She bit back a scream before looking back up at the girl. "Run. Child you must run fast. I am not the only danger here.." Her dark brown eyes were full of wisdom a 44 year old should have, which she possessed. Her whole figure started trembling, and she laughed as she remembered the child's tiny and nervous hello. She should be scared, Ella had been wrong, tonight was the night of her transformation..

Brock knew tonight was the night of a full moon, and he was trying to get as far away from civilization as he could. When he shifted, his wolf didn't care who it killed. Everyone except fellow wolves were food in it's eyes, no matter how young or old it's victims may be. As he walked along the sidewalk, he could sense two other wolves, and a human. Once he got closer, he could see that the human he sensed was only a little girl...a child.
Brock couldn't let this girl be a victim of the full moon, and his goal wasen't to get out of the city anymore. With that, he darted towards her and scooped her up in his arms. He had to get her far away from the danger before he himself changed, and he could feel the it already lingering inside of him. Brock used his speed as a lycan to rush the little girl through the streets, but each second he held on to her gave him less time to prevent himself from harming her.
As he ran, he sent a calming wave towards her so that she wouldn't panic. Yet he'd have to let that wave fade soon so she would have the chance to run if she had to. Though Brock knew he had to be as fast as he could, the shift was surfacing and he could feel the bones relocating inside of him. He knew he had to stop now, and he did so as he dropped to his knees. Then he put the girl down and looked her in the eyes.
"Please, run. Don't ask why, just get away from here..." It was then that another wave of pain shot through him and he let out a yell. His eyes shifted to a golden yellow and claws were extending from his fingers. "..now!" Brock's voice has changed to that of a deep and inhuman one, proving that the change was now upon him.

Soda glanced at the area where she heard a small stone fall, and saw nothing but darkness, black. She wondered what was over there, but didn't go on; she stayed right where she was. And then she squeaked slightly as she was picked up by some man, someone she didn't even know. She was confused, and even a little bit pissed, too. But with the little girl's words ringing in her ears, she didn't say a word. That and the fact that she was too freaked to say anything.
She let herself be carried away by this stranger, still tense and far from relaxed. What the hell was going on? As she was set down, she heard him say basically the same thing as the girl. Confused, she remained in the same spot until she noticed that he was changing. Oh shit. Were's again? She sighed for a quick moment and then backed up, knowing what was going to happen now.
