The foul yet ever so sweet stench of death floated upon the fridged night air. The delightful and yet unsettling screams of pain and agony echoed around aimlessly... seeming to fall upon deaf ears. The full moon within the black inky sky illuminated a scene of utter massacre and mutilation as numerous counts of cut up and descecrated cropses lined the open grasy plans now covered with a red tint. Corpses by the dozen, Humans, Lycan, Vampires it didn't matter. Cops, mothers and men, all slaughtered in a hellashishly grotesct and inhumane manner.
The blood from their bodies now pooling and coagulating on the already soaked soil. A young girl, one would say only of the age of five watched helplessly as a man in a black suite and with white hair holding a katana viciously cut down her mother and father. She tried her best not to let out a scream however her attempts failed as she cried out for her mother.
The attention of this master of massacre turned to the criying little girl as he turned and walked towards her. The little girl screamed getting up and running away but was instantly caught By this man who had his hand around her throat and lifting her into the air. She tried screaming but the pressure on her neck was just to much. She couldn't scream, she could barely breath. A sinisterly sick smile washed over the lips of this killer as with a simple squeeze he crushed her neck. Dropping her headless body he kicked the little girl's head into the woods. "Human child... so weak... So disgusting."

Carefully hidden in the shadows and, hopefully, unnoticed by the slaughtering vampire, another vampire watched. The hood of his black jacket was drawn over Damian´s red hair to help him melt into the shadows better since it otherwise gave him away quite fast. The vampire felt no compassion for all who were being slaughtered mercilessly and as it seemed only for the other vampire´s amusement. Eyes narrowing slightly, Damian made a decision in his mind without having to really think about it for long. He would certainly not accept the contract to kill the vampire, no matter how high the sum for the vampire´s head would be upped. He wasn´t a coward and he liked money, but at the same he was no fool. He could take on the vampire and maybe even win, but it was too much of a risk for his taste. Maybe if he was very low on money or feeling suicidal but with enough other offers for less suicidal missions had been presented. They paid less, of course, but he would be able to take out the targets much faster and with less effort, while still getting the thrill of the hunt.
For the last few weeks he had been gathering information about the vampire and working on tracking him down to decide if he would accept or reject the ´job´ that had been offered. Now he had his answer and as soon as he got back to his hotel room, he would send a message, telling the client to find someone else for this particular job. One who was either a more powerful vampire or shifter, or one who was simply mental enough to try it.
However Damian was curious about how a battle between him and the vampire would end. But since curiosity killed the cat… Besides, with the katana, the other would be at quite an advantage when it came to speed and agility since Damian preferred his heavy broadswords. He could wound the vampire first with a bullet, but then the fight just wouldn´t be fair and Damian still some sense of honour left. Ah well… best leave someone else to deal with the other vampire and just head back to find a not quite so risky offer.

"Only rats hide in a corner shuddering in fear as they watch their own being killed by the snake." Spoke the venomus words of The Pure Blooded Killer as he stood behind the hooded figure. His katana sheathed and his arms crossed, his black gaze stared upon his next victim. "Do you feel compelled to watch as others are slaughtered and you do nothing? Or are you just that weak?" Vicious chuckled, "Don't lie boy... I can smell the fear resinating off of you like a plauge."
Vicious looked upon, Seemingly emotionless and void of thought but in actuality he was already planning his next twelve steps and planning how much fun he would have with this half blood. "So... Tell me something. Have you ever danced with the devil under a scarlet moon?" He asked Watching the vampire's moves carefully. Nothing he did would escape the view of this merciless killer.

Hopefully unnoticed had been quite right. Ah well, so much for just leaving without getting involved in any of it. Though now having gotten a demonstration of the other vampire´s speed, he was quite impressed. “A frightened rat you say? An indifferent observer would be more like it,” he answered as he turned to face the other. Since he had already been noticed, it didn´t matter much anymore if he made himself easier to spot, so Damian pulled the hood back and shook out the red hair. “Why should I care about them? They are nothing to me and I wasn´t paid to stop you from amusing yourself with this,” he answered, sweeping his hand at the bloody corpses and arching a brow slightly. He wasn´t exactly frightened, though he was certainly alert and carefully watching the other, determined not to be surprised by him again.
“I´ve not yet had the honour. But if you´re the devil… well I would have thought that he has better thing to do than play with the likes of them.” At the last part, emerald eyes briefly glanced at the field again, though out of the corners still kept track of what the other vampire was doing; his lips curled slightly to give the merest hint of a smirk at the words. Damian was quite glad that he hadn´t come unarmed, the weight of the sword in the sheath at his back very reassuring at the moment. If the other decided to attack, or maybe when would be more appropriate, he was ready to spring into action and draw his weapon. However he didn´t want to be the first to draw his sword, since he didn´t really wish for this battle to take place. But if it would prove unavoidable…

"Well then, allow me to indulge you." He stated lowly as he began a slow trudge toward his new target. "I know not who sent you, But I will return you to them mangaled, torn, and broken as a statement to seend someone of higher skill." He kept marching ever so slowly towards him. "Those who serve humans in any manner for any reason are the lowest of the vampiric race... and are next to lycans when it comes to things I despise." He stated growing ever so closely. Just a few more steps and Vicious would be right infront of his face. The many Ideas blooming within The Pure Blooded Killer's mind almost sent him into a state of ectasy.
Three more steps and the fun would begin. Oh so much fun that this master of Massacre had in mind for this half blood. Two more steps, the slaughter was about to begin soon... One... more... step... and then suddenly he vannished, like a spector vading in between worlds.
"Allow me to truely introduce myself. I am Vicious... and I will be your death dealer tonight." His voice echoing around the vampire. Then sudeenly his voice came from behind the vampire once more. But not in plain sight, No instead he was standing perfectly balanced on a tree branch, upside down. "So... does my newly found toy have a name?" he asked dissapearing once more letting out a cackling laugh.
As the cackling ended a loud snapping sound like that of a whip popping blasted all silence away as the tree the Pure Blooded Killer was once perched upon was destroyed, being turned into many large and small peices of sharp wood and all shot in the Vampire's direction.

“Neither do I know the identity of the people who want your head. I don´t go to tea or on a nice dinner with them, I´m not a lawyer, you know?” Damian pointed out, as usually unable to resist. Some people got furious when he spoke to them in this fashion, others ignored it; but he was quite sure that at some point, when he met the wrong person, it would get him killed. And tonight he just might have gotten to that point. “But have fun looking for them and then do me the favour of killing them.” After all, he wouldn´t be where he was at the moment, if he hadn’t been offered quite a tempting sum of money for the other vampire´s head since he wouldn´t have been following him to see if it was worth it. “And I work for the ones who offer the money. I don´t care who or what they are.” After all, what was as important as money in the present time in the world? Power? Money could buy you power; it all came back to money.
Damian spoke in an almost casual fashion, but he was not in the least as calm as he gave the impression of being. His eyes never left the other vampire as he was slowly advancing on him, careful not to miss anything. This time when the vampire moved, Damian saw him actually move, not simply suddenly vanish. At least for a bit, since he did loose track of the other after a few seconds, but it was still better than nothing and certainly he was better off than humans, who probably never even saw the vampire coming if he used this speed to his advantage.
Turning to fix his eyes on the vampire, Vicious as he had just been informed, Damian frowned slightly. “I thought you wanted to kill me, not play hide and seek.” Games could be fun, but this one right now, he wasn´t particularly enthusiastic about. Like most, he enjoyed toying with others but disliked it when the tables were turned. “I don´t know about you´r toy, death dealer. But I´m Damian,” the redhead answered, making it a point to speak ´death dealer´ as mockingly as possible. He had no time for further comments, unless he wanted to be a live, or at least undead, toothpick container. Jumping up on the air and avoiding the pieces of wood, Damian landed on a branch of a nearby tree. Drawing his sword, he bent his knees slightly, ready to jump out of the way if Vicious decided to attack. Under his breath Damian was cursing that he´d been distracted by avoiding the pieces of wood and lost track of the other vampire in the process. Green eyes were darting around, trying to spot him again while he listened for any sound that would give away the other´s position.

Without a sound Vicious was sitting there right beside him, like a cat toying with the mouse it cuaght before it finally devoured it. "Very good, I can see you do have skill... At dodging." He stated. He was done toying with this vampire to a degree, now was a chance to actually measure his skill. As well to see if this man could deem a valuable asset to his plans. This would be this Half Blood's test if he prooved correctley he would live...
If not... Then death was to be his anwser. Standing next to him on the tree branch with his arms crossed a sick smile came to his face. "Tell me something... When you bleed. Does it come out as half... Or pure?" He asked a bizzare question however if the boy caught on he would have an anwser to his question. However he was getting tired doing nothing... He stomped his foot upon the branch, the force of his strength making the tree limb snap instantly under the both of them.
Vicious dissapeared and reapeared upon the ground under the path of the falling limb. With streak of reflective silver the limb turned into timber dust that harmlessly snowed around the area around him. He sheathed his sword and waited for the vampire to hit the ground.

It was quite startling how good Vicious was at just seemingly appearing out of nowhere and disappearing again. Even if Damian knew that he simply moved very fast, it was still quite a nifty trick. “You could´ve been one hell of an illusionist if you weren´t a Vlad Tepes fan. Or is it Jack the Ripper?” he remarked to the other vampire with a slight smirk. He could probably have thought of a better comparison, but this two would do to bring across what he had in mind.
“Don´t you know? My wounds heal much faster because only one half bleeds,” Damian answered with a chuckle at the question. It wasn´t true but in his opinion a fitting answer to the question he had been given. So he wasn´t born a vampire; big deal. He didn´t care about the whole halfblood – pureblood thing, but it looked like his new ´friend´ did. “Let me guess, you also don´t like things that go furry at least once a month?”
When the branch broke, Damian pushed himself away from it; instead of falling of falling to the ground, he did a smooth back flip in the air and landed in a crouch behind Vicious, one hand holding the hilt of his sword, while the other helped steady him after the landing. The opportunity wasn´t exactly perfect, but it was worth a try and he was curious anyway. Instead of waiting for Vicious to put him to another test, he charged at the other vampire, sword held ready to slash at him.

Vicious chuckled lightly to himself at the Jack the Ripper coment remembering days of old when he once teased the humans under that alias. A half blood he was hmm? Well then Vicious would most deffenatley put him to the test. As the half blood charge Vicious waited for him to gain into striking distance. Once he did Vicious spun around and leaped over the vampire, avoiding running into him. Landing dilegent and gracefully on his feet he looked at the Vampire. "Fan of the Ripper?" He let out a luagh, "No infact I was the legendary Ripper himself." He drew his blade from the sheath once agian. "If you think you can stop me then come. I will proove you wrong." He said wanting the red head to attack.
But then he decided not to let the first move be made by a half blood after a moment of waiting. He chuckled, "Well... If you won't make the first move I guess I will" He dashed at Damian leaving a blured image that hugged tightly behind him as he pulled his sword back and quickly swung towards Damian's hip with an uppercut.

As Vicious jumped over him, Damian halted and turned around to face him again. Unfortunately for him, Vicious had landed out of the reach of his sword, so it would have been pointless to put effort into an attack at the same time as he turned. Instead, he would wait for another opportunity to present himself. Vicious had more power than he had and wasting his strength would just not do. “I´ll ask you for an autograph some other time,” Damian chuckled as Vicious revealed that he actually had been Jack the Ripper. “And I have no wish to stop you. Keep slaughtering everyone you want to, the only life that matters to me, is my own.” Which was also why he never considered being a bodyguard instead of a killer. His life was above money, so even a nice, large sum couldn´t convince him into something like that.
Damian had only little time to respond to the attack, starting to move back while blocking the katana with his own sword. “Bee my guest, sir,” he growled with a slight grin as he moved forward again, instead of backing away, putting his weight into pushing Vicious off balance and away from him. At least that was his intent, if it would work with another experienced swordsman was another thing. But it was worth a try nonetheless. If nothing else to get a more accurate image of the other´s skill and way to react.

Vicious stumbled back one step however bent backward and cartwheeled with one hand landing on his feet diligentley. It was never easy to knock this vampire off of his feet, especially in combat. "Not bad half blood. But not good either." He taunted coming in for another attack, this time he sped up becoming a blur as he stopped and threw a punch for his gut then suddenly vanished.
The suddenly appearing behind him he attacked with harsh hook kick towards his right kidnies. Followed by a spin and Vicious swinging his blade in a slashing attack targeted for Damian's back, If the half blood avoided this or blocked it he would gain a small respect for his current enemy.

The action wasn´t as successful as Damian would have liked, but at least it had a bit of an effect. It would have been quite disappointing and more than that worrying if he hadn´t managed to force Vicious back at least a little. It also showed that he would have to try quite a bit harder if he wanted to avoid getting killed by the other vampire. Damian found it extremely annoying how fast vicious was; it pissed him off – not being bale to fully follow the moves, even with his eyes. It made foreseeing the next attack and defending himself quite a deal harder.
The point was proven when Vicious´ fist hit his stomach firmly, leaving him stunned for a moment. More pain followed as he was kicked before he could fully recover; but he was determined to ignore it in favour of focusing on Vicious as best as he could. Luckily the adrenalin overrode the pain mostly. Damian noticed the blade just in time to let himself drop out of the way mostly, turning halfway as he fell, bringing up his own blade to block the slash as he hit the ground. Pushing Vicious´ katana further away with his sword, he braced himself on the ground with the other hand, while trying his luck at kicking the other´s legs from under him.

This seemed to proove successful however the Pure Blooded Killer always had counters for everything. As he fell he vanished once agian and then suddenly... SNAP! a large tree soon feel towards the vampire. Vicious laughed as he was now perched carelessly upon the tree's branch. Vicious was toying around with him, this was certian but how long would he countinue this toying was unknown.
"I must admit this you are very skilled at getting hit." he said holding a bloodied head of one of the slaughtered and inspecting it. "Too be... Or not to be..." He stopped shaking his head, "I can never remember the rest of it..." He shrugged tossing the head next to Damian's face and pushing himself out of the tree and walking towards the Vampire. "Oh well... I was never one for Shakespear anyways."

There was short moment of satisfaction for Damian as he actually succeeded, but it was really a very short moment, since in the next, Vicious had vanished and with a loud noise, a tree was falling towards Damian. The red haired vampire just managed to roll out of the way of the tree trunk, but ended up pinned to the ground on his back by a thick branch. He hacked at the leaves blocking his view at once, eyes searching for any sign of the other vampire since he didn´t want to be taken completely by surprise by another attack.
Damian looked almost a bit sceptically at Vicious as the vampire started to recite Hamlet. “That´s the question…” he finished, glancing at the head none too enthusiastically but also not really bothered. It was just a part of a corpse. He didn´t really get it why humans were often so terrified of being near corpses, especially such butchered ones, since the things were already dead anyway and could do no harm. Bracing his hands against the branch while still holding his sword in one hand, Damian pushed at the wood until it cracked. It didn´t take much effort really. Rising to his feet again, he looked at Vicious. “You like playing cat and mouse, don´t you?” The annoyed tonne in his voice was very hard to miss, since he wasn´t enjoying the game one bit. Especially when it seemed that Vicious had to put only minor effort into what he did, while he himself had to attack with full force to accomplish anything.
