Oooo, the night was a perfect temperature tonight. Not too cold, and not to hot. It was just right, but it wasn't like Onyx Stone needed anything to keep her warm. She was dead for the most part and had been for the last 300 years. Central Park. How lovely, but could it be lovely? With all the humans and others roaming around in this dump of a park? Onyx had only lived in New York for the last century and even yet she still had her Romanian Accent on her. Maybe that was a good thing. That she wouldn't be called a yankee like all Americans were. It sicked her to be called a Yankee.
But Americans did give off good blood, because of all the fatty foods they ate. She kind of liked that even if it meant she would need to keep her figure instead of drinking so much blood. She made herself laugh sometimes.
Walking down the path she could sense a few humans lingering around. Of course none of the humans thought her to be different, maybe a bit goth of the sorts since she was wearing black jeans with knee high flat heeled boots with a hot pink long sleeve blouse with a black sleeveless vest with hot pink dyed hair. She liked the style she wore. She had only changed it at the beginning of the century when everyone had been off celebrating as if it were something speical.
She walked up behind a group of teenagers and went, "Boo!" scaring the living shit out of them til they peed their pants. She had grabbed the only boy in the group as his girlfriends watched as she drank his blood dry. She closed her eyes as she tasted his blood as it flowed down her throat. Such delicous stuff it was and to think she saw the girls running away screaming their heads off as she dropped the boy's body and kept on walking.
She licked her lips as she sensed another human in the area, but she wanted it to be a surpise on where the human was so she walked to a bench and sat down. She didn't want to scare the human out of their wits. She could keep this one as a pet, or even a slave. One of the two would work for her if she could catch them.

It was obvious: she was lost. Who know how many times Soda had walked down this same path, yet she still didn't know where to go. Maybe it was because it was night out, but she'd walked around at night most of the time, so why should that matter? Shaking her head to herself, she continued to walk slowly, without a clue of where she was going. It wasn't the first she was like this, though. Many times she'd just wander, like now, around town.
She carried her backpack with her, and wore a simple t-shirt with cargo pants. It was chilly tonight, but she didn't need a sweater; she was used to the cold. After sleeping in the cold after months and months, who wouldn't be? Looking around, she noticed people walking around, maybe taking a night walk, or a couple of teenagers just hanging out. She didn't really know.
She wanted to know what it was like to be a normal teenager, but she can't anymore. After running away from home, she'd never be able to go back, even if she wanted to. At times, though, she had an urge to go back and see how Applesauce was doing, or see what happened to their dad. She sighed.
Soda sat down next to a tall tree, resting. Or maybe she'd sleep here; again, she didn't know. So many things just seemed to happen in her life now, without ever planning for them. Her life was just one big surprise.

Onyx kept things simple. If she didn't get what she wanted she went crazy and go find what she wants. Most of the time she usually got what she want and didn't have a problem with such items. Though there were a few times when she would have these fits because nothing went the way she wanted, and that's excatly how she felt right now. Though she didn't make a fit though.
She would wait for a few more minutes. She also looked around and saw a girl about her teens sitting against a tree. That's what she was looking for in a slave. Perfect build. Perfect everything. She'd make a nice little slave for Onyx. Even if Onyx had to force the girl and put a collar on the girl. She had plenty of dog collars at home that would work. She even had a few on her right now and a couple of leashes stashed in the pockets of her vest.
She wasn't one to go somewhere without bringing a few extra items along with her. Incase she did find the perfect slave or pet for herself. Though she could always use one of the leashes as a whip against other vampires, but she never had any trouble with her own kind in a while so she was all good. She turned back around in bench and thought of her next move, but she was curious as to the girl. If she would move from her place by the tree or if Onyx would have to come for her with the speed of lighting and the girl wouldn't know what hit her.

Soda closed her eyes for a few minutes and relaxed. The park was actually a nicer place to sleep than most places she's been. It was rather peaceful, and the ground was grass instead of cement. But she couldn't sleep now, so she opened her eyes, although she eagerly wanted to sleep. She hadn't had a good night's sleep for quite some time now; she'd lost count of the days she'd only had four or five hours of sleep. It was partly her fault, though: if she'd actually go to sleep early, then maybe she would have enough hours of sleep. But she didn't.
She looked at the people walking by, staring at them as they passed her. She knew it wasn't polite to stare, but whoever said she was a polite person? She laughed to herself whenever someone gave her a weird stare. Then, as she watched a group of teens walked by, she saw someone sitting on a bench, alone. They did seem any different than anyone else she'd seen go by, but there was something about them...
A shiver was sent up Soda's spine; she hated it. She looked away from the person. She didn't know what to do, but the person was freaking her out, even if they weren't doing anything. Soda got up from the tree and started walking in the opposite direction of the person. Maybe if she got away, she wouldn't feel so paranoid.

"Fucker." Were the words coming out of Onyx's mouth when she noticed the girl getting up from her spot. She nearly laughed to herself as she saw that she was making the girl feel comfortable. It was just the vibes coming off the girl that she knew how the girl felt. She wanted to scare the girl. It was perfect.
Getting up from the bench she sat down at another bench in front of the girl who was walking toward the direction she was sitting at now. "Lost. Now are you? I could give you a home, food, shelter, clothes, warmth, but it would be at a price though. I could adopt you. Teach you everything you need to know. Everything. I'm not that scary." Onyx said as she stood up and walked toward the girl.
She would give the girl everything if the girl would come home with her. She could treat the girl as a pet. She seemed helpless to be a slave. A pet would be more like it. Then she could have the girl wear a hot pink collar around her neck and be a food source for Onyx when she was hungry. That sounded perfect.
Onyx kept her fangs hidden as she smiled at the girl showing her white teeth toward the girl. Everything seemed to go fast, but Onyx liked things going fast. It made things interesting and exciting when things went the way she wanted them to go to. She stood there waiting for the girl's response. She didn't want to have to force the girl into slavery for her, but she would if she had to.

Soda jumped slightly as she saw that one person again, only now in front of her on another bench. Now that she was closer, the teenager saw that it was a girl. At first, she stared with bright purple eyes at the stranger, looking at the bright neon hair color. She said nothing, just looking and wondering why the girl had pink hair. That and the fact that this person scared her shitless.
"No, I'm ok," replied Soda, finally, after what seemed like forever; at least to her it did. She took a small step back as the other girl walked toward her. "I already have a home and I have good food and my parents... they take care of me. Really, it's ok." So it was a bunch of lies, but why would a stranger come and ask her that? She was parentless, yes, but she was taught about all that "stranger danger" crap when she was little. And now she thought it kind of paid off.
She stood there for a moment, wondering what to do next. Should she run or yell for help or what? There were people around her to hear, but... she didn't know if they was a good idea. Her face had no emotion as the stranger smiled. She'd been used to blocking out all of her emotions; it was easy for her to seem bored or just there.

"Its not very good lying to people. I said I wasn't going to harm you. And if you did have parents to take care of you. You wouldn't smell like you were in a dumpster." Onyx said as she folded her arms acrossed her chest as she looked at the girl. This girl wasn't a match for Onyx, she could pick up all the lies across the girl's voice. For that matter she could always glamour the girl erasing all of her memories expect of Onyx taking care of her.
That could be an idea she could do. Glamouring. Onyx was very good at it. Erasing memories was one of those things she took highly off as she stared at the girl. She didn't pry into anyone's minds. She didn't want to hear what they were thinking and it felt like someone was invading their privacy, but she only invaded people's minds when she was erasing memories, but even now she was debating if she should do ever that.
"Wouldn't you want a place to sleep besides out here in the cold? When it snows you'll freeze to death. Not very many live through the cold winter. I can give you anything you want. I mean no harm. I promise." Onyx lied, but the hint of lying was far away from her voice. The only thing heard from her voice was her Romanian accent she kept since moving here from Romania nearly hundred years before when she wanted to see something different for a change.

"What if I'm not a very nice person?" Soda said in a kind of smart alec tone. She was scared alright, but she hated it, hated it when people told her what to do. If she wanted adults telling her how to live, then maybe she would have stayed at home and gotten her dad to leave, not the other way around. But she didn't want to be ordered around. That was one thing about her: she always thought that she could always take care of herself, even though sometimes she couldn't.
She stood there as this total stranger kept talking and talking... which she hated. Oh dear God. Let me just go off already! she complained in her head. "And I'd rather just sleep outside, thanks. I've slept in the cold before, and frankly, I really don't give a crap." She glanced around quickly, trying to find a way to escape from this person. She wouldn't leave Soda alone, and it was really getting on her nerves. She should have been scared like she was, but now she was just getting a little pissed.
[[Feel free to attack her or whatnot.]]

Onyx stood back a bit as she looked the girl over. Was she becoming a bitch again? She sure hoped not, but by the look of the girl's face she needed to take action now. Screw what the girl wanted. It was what Onyx wanted now. She lung forward and grabbed the girl by the arm and held her tight as she quickly pulled out a hot pink collar and placed it around the girl's neck. It was tight enough that it wouldn't choke the girl, but also good enough to not let the girl go. If she wanted she could have the collar shock the girl into obeying her.
Taking out a leash she placed it on the metal ring on the collar. "I didn't want to resort to this, but this is how its gonna be. Your mine and you'll do as I say or you can be killed. Your choice, darling. I asked. You can call me Mistress. Your words won't hurt me." Onyx snapped as she revealed her fangs as the girl pulling hard on the leash.
Onyx was quite happy now. She got what she wanted and she looked over at the other people standing around the park. She waved at them as they waved back. Her fellow vampire friends were looking out for her new pet incase the girl wanted to leave her presense. "So how is my little pet now? Not happy? Good."

Everything happened all so quickly as the total stranger leapt toward her; Soda couldn't react fast enough. Which sucked arse. Pain shot through her arm as the other girl grabbed her, and she cussed under her breath. She struggled, trying to get away, as a collar was put around her neck. It didn't feel like it was choking her, but it was just to weird to have a collar there. She grabbed it, just holding it for a second, thinking. She tried to get away, trying to at least loosen to collar, but without much luck. And as a leash was attached, all she could do was just look at the ground. It felt so weird, so unnatural. So this is what dogs felt like.
She didn't say anything to her "new mistress," simply staring at the cold hard pavement. It just bothered her that she had to do everything this person wanted or she would die. It wasn't death that scared her, just that she would have to do what another person wanted. She didn't take orders from anybody, other than her twin.
And then Soda noticed that her collar was pink. Crap, she hated this color more than anything. This sucked more than she thought. "Can you at least get a different color than this ugly pink?" she asked in a pissed of tone, still staring at the ground. She wouldn't look at this person anymore, even if she was beaten. She was used to being hurt anyway.

Onyx looked back at her pet and pulled out a few collars. All pink. "I could give you another collar, but it would just be the same. You should have came nicely. I could have treated you like a daughter and let you do what you wanted, but you didn't so you'll have to go like this."
Onyx probably would have treated the girl like a daughter. Afterall she did have one in her earlier years, but Sage was later killed by her lover and it broke Onyx's heart to be left alone in the world without her lover, Richard and her daughter, Sage. She looked at the girl and lifted her chin up by a mere finger.
"What's your name?" Onyx asked her voice softer now. She wanted to make the girl trust her enough to walk with her so she wasn't dragging the girl down the path, but she knew it wouldn't be that easy so she just kept to pulling the leash harder to jerk the girl closer as Onyx looked into her eyes.
Now she would just glamour the girl. Make the girl obey her or have Onyx treat her like a daughter. She stared into the girl's eyes as she began the erasing process. She didn't erase very many memories. She just put more memories in.
The memories placed in were of Onyx treating the girl like a daughter and having anything she wanted. Having her own room everything. But how the girl would react to it, Onyx didn't know. She only hoped it was successful this time so that she could get rid of the pink collar the girl hated with a passion.

"Crap," said Soda. Pink. Why pink? And being a daughter? Ha. She hardly believed that. After what just happened, she fully believed that this vampire wasn't even capable of showing the tiniest bit of compassion. It just seemed like they didn't mix together.
She refused to to look at her, until her chin was lifted; then their eyes met. But only for a split second as she quickly looked away at something else, anything other than the person. She wouldn't tell her name, ever. She'd rather be called horrible names than have this asshole know what her real name was. "Go screw yourself," she answered coldly, refusing to say anything else.
As she was jerked forward, Soda looked into the vampire's eyes again and just stared. No emotion... again. Well, except for hatred and annoyance. She stood there quietly, until she felt something in her head, like a giant headache or something. She'd felt someone in her head before, with another vampire she'd encountered, so she knew what this was; but it wasn't like reading her thoughts. Still, she felt violated.
She grabbed her head with her arms and closed her eyes tightly as the pain inside grew and grew. She crouched down, her head on her knees now, curled up in a tight ball. "Holy crap! Get out of my head! Get out!"

"I gave you an order. And I'm not in your damn head, child. Get it through your thick skull!" Onyx smacked the girl across the face with the palm of her hand hard leaving a red smark on the girl's cheek. She was not in a happy mood right now. She was furious with the girl now. Not only would the girl sleep in a dog house, she'll sleep outside in nothing but her undergarments. She'd be the laughingstock of the household.
"I'll just name you, and you'll come by that name or I'll have to come and hunt you down. And when I do. I'm gonna strip the skin off your body and let you die a horrible painful death that no one will remember you by. UNDERSTOOD? Good. Now come on Poppet. We have places to be and things to see. Don't have all night." Onyx said as she started walking jerking the leash hard enough to make Poppet follow her. If the girl didn't like her new name of Poppet than she could just give Onyx her real name.
Walking down the path at a brisk pace, Onyx didn't look back to see what the girl was doing. She was doing enough pulling to be dragging the girl down the sidewalk if she wanted to, but the girl clearly wasn't making any noise if she was even following her by any chance.

Pain flowed into her cheeks as her new mistress slapped her. It hurt, but she'd been hurt worse, so she hid it. Whatever this vampire did to her, it couldn't possibly be worse than what her dad did to her. Not so much the pain, but the fact that her own blood with beat and abuse her. She wanted to cry, but hating it when people saw, she held back.
"Don't fucking call me that," she said angrily, standing up. Poppet? What a stupid name that was. She tried to decide in her head, whether she wanted to be called Poppet or have this vampire know her real name? She made a face and hesitated when she replied, "My name's... Soda."
And then she felt a pull, a tug, hard this time as the stranger began walking. She tried her best to stay where she was, sitting back on her ground and forcing the other person to pull if she wanted to even get Soda to move and inch. I hate being to small, she thought to herself, remembering that she was only four foot eleven. But still: she wasn't giving up without a fight.
