Tiara licked her fangs as she got out of the taxi. She tossed the driver thirty dollars, enough to pay the fare and a bit for a tip. Not that a human deserved a tip. She folded her black trench coat and tossed it in her arms as she crossed the street and headed towards the stairway to lead into the subways. But before that she had to duck and run into the street because the crazy taxi driver had almost ran her over while turning.
"You asshole!"
She regretted giving the man a tip. She nearly pulled out her .45 and shot the tires in. But then that would make the authorities find her, something they wouldn't do if she only reported that he had nearly run her over from turning. Instead of depositing a few dollars into the slots she jumped over them skipping the fare. There wasn't anyone to watch her do it. She felt like she was alone. She took a seat as she waited for the subway to come.
"I hear you!"
She knew she wasn't alone. She heard someone. It didn't matter. She could defend herself, even without the trifle weapon. She pulled up her long black gloves to view her watch. The time read 11: 37 P.M. She burped remembering the warm blood she had only hours ago from a willing human and slid her black glove over her watch once more.

Watching the chaos with the taxi, Dark had gone straight into hunt mode. He'd been asleep on one of the rooftops nearby, and had woken up very hungry. On his way to a take away, he'd heard the taxi brake and the screams of a woman. "Screw the takeaway" he thought. As he got to where the taxi had been, he saw the woman disappearing into the subway. Looking around, he saw no one and he crossed the road rapidly towards the subway.
As he paced down the steps, he was still deciding what form to be in when hunting. In a subway he could get away with changing. Once at the slots, he jumped them in a clean jump, landing softly. He heard her shout back. Perhaps his landing had not been so soft. Taking his knife from his pocket, he moved rapidly towards the platform. Seeing her ahead, he darted across the platform, sliding behind one the pillars. He sniffed the air, deciding what he was about to fight. Human. Definately.

Her eyes scanned the subway as she could see the figure out of the corner of her eye. Did the man know she was watching him? The figure dashed behind one of the pillars. Was he hiding from her? Was he a mugger? Or perhaps was he a hunter trying to hunt her? She was a vampire after all.
Tiara's stomach swirled. Was the blood she took bad? If she ever found that willing donor she would kill him! She nearly dropped to her knees as she put a hand over her heart. She spit the blood that ran back up her throat to the side. If anyone was watching it may have looked like she was throwing up her own blood. When she was finished she kept her position low, she could see through the strands of her hair which covered her eyes. She was watching the pillars even though it looked like she was glaring at her blood.
"Play time!"

The noise of coughing caught his attention. They sounded worse than normal, and peeking around the pillar, he saw her coughing up the blood. Was she deseased or something? he wondered to himself. He'd eaten sick meat before, made him feel a bit iffy for awhile. Sniffing the air, he detected no ills within her. Odd he thought, wondering why she'd cough up blood. His mind was distracted by her talking. Playtime? Did this human really think they stood a chance?
Stepping out from behind the pillar, he faced her and held the blade towards her direction. "Little girl, little girl, come out to play" he taunted as he stepped slowly towards her, the blade held at face level. He could toy with her, or he could just kill her. Passing the blade between hands, he began to circle her. He wanted a reaction, he always felt they should get one move on him. Before he kills them at least. Poised ready to strike, time slowed as he waited.

"What the hell are you?"
Who the hell was this man with the sword. He didn't seem like a human but he didn't seem like a hunter either. She doubted he was a vampire. She stood up and swirled her body moving to face him at all times so that he never got her back alone. She wiped her face with her gloved had as she spit the blood out once more.
"You wanna play? You wanna fucking play? Fine. Let's play!" Tiara glared at the man. He was not human, that she was sure of now. She reached to her pants swiftly and brought out her .45. It was time to play. She cocked the gun, she didn't need to check the clip because it was full. She would have fifteen shots. Not to mention she had extra clips in her pockets, she was wearing a journalists trench coat, the sort with a billion pockets. "Any last words?"[/blockquote]

The gun caught him slightly off guard. So much for easy kill he thought. Effort, he'd have to put god damn effort in and he was in such a lazy mood. She seemed a little too eager to die. Even by his standards, that was suicidal. She just appeared slightly hysterical and off her rocker. Her last words caught his attention. "Two words - Don't blink". As she blinked, he tore forward, smashing the blade into her hand, and he slid across the floor, avoiding any potential shots.
Twisting the blade through the palm of her hand, he took her by her arm and threw her into the wall. Shortly after she landed, he grabbed her by her legs and swung her onto the tracks. Pacing over to the edge, he stood above her. "That was a foolish thing to do. Pull a gun on me, you should least be quick enough to get me. But now, you get to have a more painful death". With that, he closed his eyes and began to change before her. Blood dripping from his eyes and ears, his body tore into wolf form. Finished, he looked at her and growled

Tiara laughed when she saw the look in his eye. Yes, guns were fearful but not nearly as fearful as vampires.
"Blink?"
And to show him that she'd do just the opposite as he, she blinked. She looked in time to see the man smash forwards with lightening speed. She would save her bullets for later when she needed them later. She's rip this fucker apart with her hands!
As she was thrown into the wall she licked her bloodied hand. He would have to do better than that if he wanted to kill her.
"The only foolish thing to do was to try and grab me by the legs!" She countered. She watched as the man before her eyes turned into something non-human. He was a werewolf. It only made sense! She licked her blood to make her stronger and then fired off a few shots into the werewolf. "You're a freaking werewolf! Jesus Christ!"The subway was coming and when it stopped for a few moments she jumped inside and ran through the cabs. Could she deal with a werewolf? Maybe. But she needed blood to heal her wounds first. [/blockquote]

The shots pounded through his body, tearing as they passed through. But in wolf form he could heal faster. The wounds started to heal, not instantly but quick enough to see. The bullets remained inside, he'd bleed them out later. Rather than attack, he spotted the oncoming train. As it slowed infront of him, he wondered if it got her. As he looked around, he saw her inside the train. He could hear the train starting up again, so he tore open the doors and burst into the carriage.
The train began to move away from the station, and Dark made his way towards the girl. Confined space and constant moving train. Like shooting into a barrel of fish. Only one person on the carriage, a businessman of some sort. Before he could raise a fist, the man was thrown out the torn door, his insides sprayed down the side of the train. Smiling, he turned back towards the girl. In a few quick steps he slammed into her.

Tiara felt no pity for the businessman. She hadn't even thought to warn him. A vampire was a higher being but a human was just food, they were like sheep. His death and the fact that he would die did not disturb her in any way. In fact she laughed.
"Didn't your mother ever tell you to NOT play with your food? And let me tell you something. Vampires are NOT food, they're predators!"
She had just fed even if she threw up all the donators blood. She was smashed into the door but didn't cringe once. He would have to do a whole lot better then that. She fired round after round into the wolf monster. She stood up and entered the next compartment and made sure to close the door behind her.
"Damn."
Tiara said to herself softly. She licked her wounded hand again trying to conserve her blood. She HATED werewolfs! They were a pain in the ass. Right now she wasn't physically strong enough to kill one. She ran through another cab trying to make her way to the end of the subway. At least when she was out of the thing she would feel safer.

Vampires? What do vampires have to do with this woman? Dark wondered to himself as he flew across the carriage. She had no smell of one, and she wasn't as strong as a vampire. Either way, the following bombardment of bullets slowed him to a halt. As she fired, he shielded his face, roaring at her as he slowly made his way towards her. The door infront closed and he could not open it. Seeing her escaping down the next carriage, he pounded the door frame until it gave way and tore his way through the gap. As he did the same to the next door, he saw her making for the end.
Clearing the door, he burst into full sprint down the carriage, smashing clean through the first door, but stopped by the weakened second door. With a few more furious blows, he made his way through that one. Before she could reach the door, he jumped across the carriage and took her down. Before she could react he slashed her face once and he grabbed her by the throat. "I don't know what you think you are, but let me tell you this. You ARE prey!" Tightening his grip on her throat, he tore back down the carriages he'd come from, her in his grip. Reaching the last carriage, he gave it three strong kicks before it came off. Holding her out from the train, he smiled and let go.

Tiara fell from the train. Did the werewolf just speak to her? She felt like she was delusional. She tucked in her head to her stomach as she did four flips in a row until she was safe from the fall. She stood up and massaged her neck. That really hurt!
"Son of a bitch!"
If she ever met that werewolf again she'd fucking kill him for sure. She kept away from the subway as it made its way down the tracks. Even if she was a vampire that could possibly kill her. How much did trains weight? And how fast was the speed?
"Damn fucking mutt!"
Now the only thing she needed to worry about was how to make her way out of the underground. If that werewolf decided to jump off the train he was fixin' for a hurtin'! She held her gun out in front of her as she walked down the clear tracks. She supposed that she could find a sewer pipe and it would lead her to the streets.

Watching her fall, he braced himself for the jump. Taking a leap out the train, he smashed into the ground, spinning off, catching himself on the wall. Finally coming to a halt, he staggered up and noticed his arm was dislodged. Pacing back down the tracks, he clicked his arm back into place and started to speed up. Hopefully she would be dead on the tracks, an easy meal. As he ran, he suddenly stopped. The scent of the human was in the air and he looked around on the ground. There was marks of a landing all over the place.
He began to run full pelt after the scent, taking heavy breaths as he ran. As he ran around a corner, he jumped into the wall, digging his claws in, narrowly missing being taken down by another train. As it passed him, he held onto the wall, wondering why this human was becoming so much hassle. The train passed and he let his grip go. The scent had been moved by the train, but was beginning to settle again. Seeing a second track, he crossed over to that tunnel, the smell getting stronger. Taking off again, he quickly made his way down the tracks and soon she was in sight....

Tiara was on the ladder making her way up slowly. The ladder to the surface had been covered with so much grime and unknown things that she had been hesitant to touch such things. It had made her pause, stash her gun in between her legs and place on her gloves before she had climbed it. She had just made it half way up the ladder before another train had come. Tiara had had two choices. She could have either tried to jump and make it to the train or continue on climbing. She choose to climb. Tiara didn’t have all her vampire strength back so a fall or drop to the train would have killed her.
It was then when she spotted the werewolf, again. Why couldn’t he leave her alone? Why did he have to try and eat her? She wanted to be nursing her wounds but a strong sense of pride wouldn’t allow her to show weakness, even if the creature (werewolf) had only minimal intelligence. It was sort of funny in a way. If she had never watched some sappy movie on television while trapped, about some boy who snuck aboard a train, got caught, and then got thrown off, she may have never survived being thrown off of the train.
“Hmmmm. Hmmmmmm.”
Tiara began to hum. She had developed a plan. It would only work if she could use her senses. She would let the creature thing she hadn’t spotted it, and then when it lunged for her she would fall to the ground and unleash two clips in it. Creature or not, there was no way it could stand two clips. The bastard would be too injured to move.
[Sorry it took me so long to post.]

Tearing down the tracks, his attention fully on her, it wasn't till the last moment that he noticed the oncoming train. As he jumped to the wall, his left side clipped the side of the train. Catching onto the side, he was dragged for several hundred meters before sliding of the side of the train, smashing hard against the wall as he bounced between it and the train. Finally landing as the train completely passed, his body slid across the rough ground. After a moments black out, he opened his eyes, looking around. His vision was blurred and the girl was out of sight. Pity, he thought, for she would of been a good meal. This was why he didn't play with his food, it'd always get away. Changing back into human form, the pain was hardly noticeable compared to the pain received from the impact. Even if he wanted to go after her now, it'd be foolish. Even his pride had to admit a train impact was a good enough reason to admit defeat.
Picking himself up, he started walking back along the tracks, away from the way he'd been running. Should he of gone down there, he may of been open to attack. Not that he thought she was that clever. It was a risk he simply wasn't going to take. In Europe he'd persisted a chase after another werewolf through a mountain side. Loosing his footing, he had gone off the side of the mountain. Still young, still full of himself, he carried on chasing the werewolf. Naturally, when he confronted the beast, he took a beating. It would be three years till he got his revenge, by putting a silver blade through it's head. Dark had never felt such satisfaction in a kill.

Tiara stayed silent, trying to keep her eye on the beast without letting it know that she could see it. It wasn't simple. She couldn't just close her eyes and hear the creature. If only her vampire powers would come to her now. Please, please, please God of all the vampires. Please return me my powers. I have been good. I have been sort of good. I really need my powers! She tried to pray to the Vampire Gods but nothing, she didn't feel different in any such way. She wanted to scream out because she hated defeat.
And then that was when she saw the train. Since when did so many trains come at once? It was an odd occurance but one that was still a bit likely. She heard an unfamiliar screech and knew that the stupid werewolf had been hit by the train. Was he dead? Should she find it and finish it? She looked at her lone gun, the bullets weren't even silver. Tiara should cut her losses and leave, maybe she'd meet up with this wolf again and by then she would have silver bullets.
[It would be funny if they met again but he didn't know it was her and she didn't know he was a werewolf. Lol]
