Ethan had taken the day off from his job as an assassin, and he just came back from a visit to the cemetery. Today was the anniversary of his wife's death, and he remembered everything so well. They had told him that she was a victim of a random drive by shooting, and he believed it. Little did he know though that that was only a cover up. The truth was, Suzzy was murdered by someone much more powerful than humans commiting a drive by. As Ethan sat at a small eatery in China town, all the thoughts rushed back to him. He had gotten a call about Susan, and when he got to the scene, she was nearly dead. Ethan had managed to tell her how much he loved her before she finally passed, and the police insisted that it was all because of a drive by.
By the looks of it, they were telling the truth. And sure, some people would ask why he didn't turn her, but if he did, she would still have a long and painful recovery ahead of her. Ethan knew she wouldn't have wanted that, so he let her go. About 10 years later, his only daughter was killed and he felt as if he couldn't live life anymore. That forced him to turn to a life of drugs and crime, and eventually to prison. While spending his years there, he had realized that no one he cared for would've wanted this, and when he got out, he straightened up his life. Now Ethan worked as an assassin, but refused on making any kills on the annivesary of his wife's death. The same went for the anniversary of his daughter's death.

Andee wandered into the resteraunt. Her grace was amazing, making all the more beautiful than she already was, not that she believed that. Metallic green irises scanned the place for a table and she satdown at the bar, next to a man who seemed to be reflecting deeply. That was fine for her she wasn't about to talk to some man she didn't know.
The leopard flagged over the sushi master and ordered a rainbow roll. As she set her arm down it hit the man's. She turned to speak, "Sorry about that. Didn't look where I was putting it." She turned away again, hoping he didn't see her eyes. It could start up a conversation that Andarial wasn't sure she wanted.

Ethan let the thoughts rush through his mind, and when his senses picked up on another wereanimal that had walked in, he igorned them. The sushi cook then wandered out in front of him, and that finally drew him from his almost trance like state. After placing an order of eel, the other wereanimal had sat down next to him. Moments later, she bumped his arm and appologized.
"Don't worry about it." Ethan simply said. He was always this somber on the anniversary of the death of both his wife and his daughter. Both were murdered, and he haden't found the vengence he wanted. With that, he snapped himself out of it and happened to glance over at the werecat. To cheer himself up, maybe he needed to start a conversation, so that was what he did. "Not very busy here today, is it?"

Andee held back a sigh and shook her, "No, but I like it when it's that way. I get better service."
She turned to him and offered him a little smile. Something about him seemed melancholy. She wondered why, but then realized it wasn't her business. He was a well built male and smelled like a wolf. Andee let her smile linger, offering hope to him on his sad day. Saying that not everything in the world was horrible.
Maybe something horrible happened on this day. Maybe he was just naturally like this. She hoped it was the first. She didn't think the world needed another person like her in it. Not that she was horrible all the time, just most of the time.

Ethan returned her smile, something he didn't do much. It wasen't because he was always somber, but because he never really showed that much emotion most of the time. Sure, he felt bad for people, he just didn't let others know...except for today. As he looked at the werecat, he couldn't help but notice her eyes. They really stood out, but he wasen't about to flat out tell her that, no doubt that it'd be odd.
Once his order of eel came out, he grabbed a pair of chopsticks and took a bite of the eel. Unlike a number of people, he actually knew how to use chopsticks. Whenever he went to an asian resturant, there were always at least two people who didn't know to use them properly. With that, he swallowed his food and got a sip of his drink. Already, he was feeling a bit better because of this little conversation he was having with this werecat. "Same here. The staff is usually more friendly too since they don't have to deal with so many people."

Her rainbow roll came over. She was reminded immediately of her hunger and she mixed som soy sauce and wasabi together, before eating. She liked his company, he didn't talk too much like most people. Andee stuck out her hand and said, "I'm Andarial Featherstone, but most just call me Andee."
"I... Is something wrong you seem a little downcast? If you don't want to tell me then thats ok but if you want to talk I'm will to listen," she shrugged. She didn't know why she cared but she did. Why should someone be so sad? Of course it was probably just her curiousity. Its true that cats are curious and so why shouldn't a werecat be curious?

Ethan took a hold of her hand and hook it. "Ethan Stone." It was rare for him to tell someone his legal name unless he trusted them, and he just had a gut feeling that he could trust this werecat. Then she asked what had been keeping him down in the dumps, and he didn't mind telling her. Hey, it was better than keeping it all inside right? "Today's the anniversary of my wife's death, she was murdered."
He then paused for a moment and pushed away the coming thoughts. "My daughter was taken from me too, and that anniversary is in a few months." Ethan didn't mean to sound like a miserable person, but it was the truth. Days after the death of his daughter, he never thought he could make it through life, yet here he was. Granted, it wasen't the best way to get through it, but now he was free of the drug and criminal life he use to live in.

"Ethan," she repeated his name. Then Andee frowned as she heard about his wife and child. She never liked to think of the people that she killed as having a life. They were just merely targets. Inanimate things to her that she crushed and left for the world to find the next day. But here she was reminded of the fact that at least 3/4 of the people she killed had a significant other and at least a half had children. She shifted, uncomfortable for a moment.
"My father was killed to," she didn't say that it was by her. "I don't really miss him much. He wasn't the nicest person."
The long diagnol scar on her back seemed to burn when she said it. The memory of how she got that scar had ridden with her since it had happened. Andarial remembered the snap of the belt across her skin and remembered exactly how many times it happened till her skin had ripped, seven, supposedly a lucky number but it never had been for her.

Ethan looked at Andee after she said that her father was killed. "I know the feeling." He took another bite of the eel and a sip of his drink. "And I take it you like cats. What kind's your favorite?" Of course, the only thing that told Ethan that was his senses. It was really his way of asking her what kind of werecat she was without saying it directly. If he asked point blank in front of humans, no doubt they'd think he were crazy.
And now that Ethan had his mind taken off the death of his wife, he wasen't in as bad a mood. Talking to Andee was actually helping him, and he was begining to like her as a friend. Whenever he had something somber come over him, Ethan always tried to start up a conversation, even though he wasen't much of a talker. On the other hand, one other thing that calmed him was the moon...except for when it was full of course.

The question was interesting. Should she answer it truthfully, and how did he know she had liked cats. Andee grew on edge a little bit. Popping another fish and rice roll into her mouth she thought of her answer. Well there was no harm answering truthfully. Seriously, how would this one know she was a werecat unless his were heightened too and he wasn't just a pup.
"Leopards... black leopards," Andee said, sipping her green tea. She watched with interest, her green eyes sparkling with things she wished to ask but thought better of. Playing politics was some of the things she was better at. It was sad that he had lost his family. She wondered if that had made him so different than others. If that had made him decide to turn into a werewolf.

Ethan managed to fork up a small smile when she answered his question. "Black leopards huh? Pretty fast animals." Ethan was fast himself, and it was another advantage he loved about being a werewolf. If chasing human prey, they didn't stand a chance against him. The only reason they'd get far enough away from his was if he allowed it, or if he had been injured in the leg somehow.
He then looked over at her again and saw a sparkle in her eyes. That itself could've meant a number of things, both good and bad. Yet Ethan doubted that Andee would turn her back on him, and he trusted her. "You know, if you have any questions for me, I wouldn't mind answering them." Now the sad side of Ethan was begining to fade as the thoughts of the murder left his mind.

Oh? So he knew she wanted to ask something. It must have showed. It was odd because rarely did Andee talk to men and rarely did she show any emotion. Hunger for the answer to the question forced her to ask, "Why did you ask me that question? I mean how did you know I liked cats?"
Curiosity killed the cat. She ran her fingers through her hair, soft and beautiful it showed the same color and texture as her fur in her leopard form. She had finished her rainbow roll by now and asked for a Cache Creek Roll this time. She nodded though, agreeing that the leopards were fast, "You have no idea how fast."

Ethan saw that the sushi chef was in the back, so he could answer her question. "I knew you liked cats because I can sense the cat in you. Now if I said that around any of the humans, they'd think I were crazy." He took another bite of his eel and once the chef came back, he ordered a second serving of it. Now Ethan couldn't help but wonder what kind of Leopard Andee was.
Some walked on two legs, others on four. Yet either way it didn't matter, both were efficient killers, and so were werewolves. Though one thing that was intersting was that all wereanimals are seemingly getting stronger. At times Ethan would spar with one to brush up on his skills, and they were a lot more powerful than they were about ten years ago. Though that was a positive, and he didn't have anything bad to say about it.

"Ah, so you are a wolf, no?" Andarial said as the sushi master left. Andee cocked her head and she turned away and sipped her tea again, it warmed her and she felt the calming effects that it always laid upon her, activate. She was a black leopard, but unlike most leopards she walked on all fours. Her eyes were soft and calm as she turned back to Ethan.
Her leopard form was large, sleek and powerful. She was flexible and strong, the perfect specimen of a leopard save for the long scar that sliced down her back. As the chef came back and placed their orders in front of them she bowed her head to him in a thankyou and he left . She lifted the sushi to her mouth and bit down. She loved fish, just like any other cat.

"Sure am." Ethan said. "And proud of it, wouldn't want to be any other species." He didn't mean to put offense to any of the other species out there, well, except for the vampires. Ethan hated them, and he would rather die than become one. The people Ethan liked to talk to also seemed the same, and he liked that about his friends. It was then that another question came to him, but he didn't want to ask it in a way that would sound rude.
"So, you do anything special in the work force?" For years Ethan had been an assassin, and he still is. Yet before all this, he actually worked for the government. After the death of his family, he dropped out of that and took a turn for the worst. Once out of prison, he took the job he has now. Yet there was one thing Ethan didn't like about it, and that was taking people away from their families. He usually didn't agree to a kill like that, but at times he had no choice.
