FORM A
Alias: Alex
Name:Alexander Lee Harten
Gender: Male
Orientation: Bisexual
Age: 23
Species: Human
Job: Alex never really did any one job. He liked to float from task to task. When something bored him he'd move on. At the moment he finds himself working crappy jobs, such as working at restaurants, local stores, anything easy. he finds it easier to live off the check that his family received when his father died.
Specialties: Hand to hand combat is Alex's strength. And if he has to use a weapon for anything, it is usually a gun. he finds this easiest when he doesn't know who decided to break into his home. Since Alex has picked a fight many a times, he's a fairly good fighter. But isn't the best, and doesn't always win. He learned mostly from experience, play fighting with his brother or getting in trouble at a local bar.
Weakness:
Alex never likes to work for anything. His family wasn't swimming in money, but they lived comfortably enough. And it was just enough for him never to have to get a job in his teenage years. That habit stuck with him to adulthood. If a job requires too much
dedication, he'll quit. If a relationship needs more attention than usual he doesn't want to give it. He'd rather just let it go. unfortunately, because of this he usually looses the things he wants the most.
Alex is also quick to temper. He is easily frustrated, with himself and other people. The moment he doesn't get something right, he's ready to drop it and move on. Words effect him greatly, and if someone says something disrespectful to him he's quick to react. This usually makes picking a fight with him very easy, as his younger brother, Derick, quickly learned.
In stressful situations, Alex buckles. This makes him usually on the loosing hand in fights. unless he's drunk, then he has a determination stronger than ever and will fight till he can no longer stand. This also means that he has trouble thinking a step ahead, forming a plan or trying to outsmart a foe. This is usually what makes him loose in any kind of fight.
His greatest fear in life is to be completely alone. Having everything taken away from him would be nothing compared to being left completely alone. he'll get in relationships where he doesn't even care about the other simply because he doesn't want to sleep alone, return to a cold bed. For this reason, if he really truly cares about a person he'll hold tight to them.
Physical Appearance: Hair: For a while Alex died his hair, going from blonde to black. As he got older he fell out of that habit and stuck with his natural dirty blonde hair. It's constantly in his eyes, a mess from drying it with a towel in the mornings. It seems to work for him though, so he leaves it that way. It's not too long, but not short either. The back of it comes down to rest just at base of his neck.
Eyes: Alex has very revealing Smokey grey eyes. He can never hide an emotion from them, a fault that he hates. It makes him prone to look away whenever he says something untruthful, or wants to hide something from someone. He has long lashes, a little darker than the color of his eyes.
Body Type: Alex isn't stocky, nor is he of a slight build. Average would be the word to describe him. He's taller than most of his family, standing at 6'2''. he isn't bulky, with a lot of muscle, but he is rather strong. That's usually what causes him to win fights, pure force.
Skin color: His skin is fairly pale in winter. The lack of sun, and lack of people about makes him stay inside. This is closer to his natural skin color, which makes an interesting contrast with his pale hair. But when the weather is warm, he's outside a lot more. this warms his skin tone, giving him a little more of a pleasant color, a little more healthier looking.
Clothing: Alex doesn't like to wear expensive clothes. He'd much rather wear jeans and an old t-shirt, which he often does. He owns a few suits, and cleans up nice when he feels like it. But usually there is no need, so they sit in the closet gathering dust. When a coat is needed he wears an old leather jacket that he stole from his younger brother years ago. It still seems to fit so he wears it. It's scratched and no longer buttons, but it makes him think of his younger brother, so he'll wear it until it falls apart.
Alex also wears glasses when he works on papers and such, but only when forced. He doesn't enjoy using them one bit and would rather struggle to read something than to be bothered with reading glasses
Personality: Overall Alex can be a friendly person. He usually knows the right things to say in everyday, normal situations. But as every person does, he has his faults. He makes friends easily enough, but they're casual ones, usually collected through fake and hollow words. never had he had a real friendship, except for his times with Raven. Easily frustrated, he usually looks for the easy way out of life's issues. As of late that easy way has been drinking. The only issue is when he becomes drunk he is even quicker to get angry, and his favorite thing to do then is to pick a fight. These were usually with the closet person present, or someone who seemed to be frustrating him more than anything. Usually this was raven, and no matter that she was a woman, he would fight her anyways.
He doesn't believe in flaunting money, so even if he had enough to by a nice home, he choses to live in the small, somewhat shabby apartment, and doesn't waste much money on clothes. Jeans and a t-shirt seemed to be the proper attire for everything.
Alex can come off as a little arrogant at times, a trait that came from being the sort of family favorite, and complements he received from several of the women he dated. he is known to be a little smug at first, many people don't think that he has very many faults. until someone spends time around Alex they usually don't know such things about him, like his temper, or easy frustration level. Since he spent many years with Raven at his side, he picked up on some of her ways, like the way she would hide her feelings the most of the time. Alex's one fault with this is that his eyes are very revealing, his emotions are always clearly reflected in them. This makes it very easy to tell when he's lying, or being deceitful, hurt anything. He'll look away when he has a strong emotion he wants hidden, making those who know him figure what he's feeling anyways, since he'll always do as much.
When Alex feels an emotion, he usually feels it in its strongest form, so if he hates you, he'll hate you with all he has. If he loves you then you have his world. This causes trouble when he gets into relationships with other people. he'll be broken hearted easily, and take to strong moods where he'll run from everything he knows and spend his days drinking away half his mind and sleeping with anyone who will accept him. He carries grudges for a long time, for things that are important, or silly.
History:
Childhood:
Growing up for Alex was very normal. He had the easy family life, living comfortably in a nice sized home. He played with his older brother, Derick, in the yard. his father was a distant from the family. He thought that the only way to get anywhere in life was to work for it, completely the opposite from Alex. Most of these days were filled with the normal joys of being a child, care and worry free. With all his faults he was considered the better child. His brother Derick found trouble everywhere he went, and it was usually up to Alex to bail him out of trouble he got himself into.
Teenage Years:
As with every teen, these years were full of change for Alex. The biggest of these changes, perhaps, would be the passing away of his father. He became ill and passed away. seeing this happen, Alex realized that his father had worked himself to death. He decided then
never to work too hard, he wanted to live a long full life, didn't want to miss out on a thing. that was when school changed for him. Suddenly he decided he didn't want to try for classes. He went from straight As to B's and Cs. his mother, who liked to work as much as his father, but stayed home with the children, of course was upset by this. But nothing she said to Alex caused any change
within him. Derick, on the other hand, was closer to their father than the rest of the family. He was greatly distraught by the disappearance of his father and ran from home. he left a note, saying that no one else understood him. He was 17 at the time, Alex was 15. every once in a while Alex runs into his brother, now considered a good for nothing. his mother erased his memories from the house, took away the pictures, his baby books. Alex still loves his brother dearly, and does his best to try and pull him to the right side, but fails every time.
It was also in his teenage days that he met Raven. She was a girl who came from the wrong side of the streets, so to speak. Hardened by the trials of life, and quick to throw harsh words. Alex was instantly attracted to her. She was the one thing in his life he actually worked to get, his want to fix her was that strong. He never really understood what it was about her. He was surprised to
learn that their lives had already been intertwined, that their parents had been friends. That their mothers had always wanted them to get married, but when Raven's parents were killed all the plans were forgotten and she ran off. Things with Raven were constantly rough. They fought a lot, usually getting very physical. Both usually walked away with bruises. His mother didn't condone this, but Alex never listened to others when it came to relationships. in between his times with Raven he dated around, he was good looking enough to get several girlfriends, but he was never serious. his troubles with Raven caused him to turn to drinking, finding it easiest
to drown his troubles in a nice stiff drink. His grades slipped even further from this, as he started to party just to get that fix. He managed to stay afloat though, running on his own intelligence instead of working to get the grades.
Present/ Adulthood:
After his graduation from high school, Alex and Raven had a bad fight, causing them to part ways for a few years. it was Raven who left him, Alex convinced himself it was the fact that she had problems committing to issues so he could find some peace with himself.
He started college but soon dropped out. It was even more work than High school and he wasn't up for it. He never let his mother know what he was up to, so she would still supply him with the money he needed.
Life for Alex now is fairly calm, boring. He lives in a small apartment, gets money from his parent's bank account, works when he feels like it. He has a few friends but doesn't want to be bothered with them often. He finds himself in such an odd state at different times, loosing interest in life. It usually takes a change, or an introduction of a new person to make him interested in life.

The cool, brisk air gave Alex great comfort as he stepped out of his small, shabby apartment onto the sidewalk. The sounds of a city at rest comforted his soul in some strange way. He had grown up away from cities, in homes that were miles apart. But this was his home now, the familiar sounds of the occasional car gliding past on the street, the hushed voices of people in their apartments floating out of the open windows as the invited the cool night air in. He wasn't sure of his goal tonight. The crowded bar across town didn't seem to be calling to him, nor did the quiet park down the street seem to call his name. Perhaps tonight was just the night to walk. So he walked straight past his car, leaving it parked on the side of the road and headed on down, past his apartment building. He lived on the outskirts of a large city. he liked city life but the big cities were a bit too much for him.
As always as he walked, he found his thoughts drifting. Not to the normal subjects; what was for dinner? who's that person on the side of the road? Where was he heading? No tonight his thoughts were on raven again, thinking about the hollow spot she left him that he had yet to fill. He could, as he usually did, run out and find the nearest woman, see if she filled that spot but he didn't want to just yet. He'd rather reflect, which was strange for him. Reflecting wasn't something he usually wanted to do, no it was better to always push forewords.
So as Alex reflected on these thoughts he let his feet guide him to where they wanted to go. He barely thought about where he was going, barely thought about the fact that he had no idea which alley he was turning down into. paid no attention to who's shoulder he had just ran into or that he should have uttered an apology. He found himself in a park from his home, one he hadn't been into before. It was abandoned, broken down. The swings hung off their chains, the slide full of nicks and dents. The paint was chipped on everything, and cigarette butts littered the ground. he moved his foot over one of them, driving it into the soft ground before he stepped forward and found a seat on the bench. It took him a long moment before he recognized the place. Raven had came here before, ran off after a fight. He found her perched atop the slide, throwing mulch down, letting it slide to the bottom. it was only a few months ago, but it seemed like a lifetime. he feared he was never going to get over his lost love, and longed for something new to guide him away from all of this, but it seemed that it would never come. he should go home, he knew, but he couldn't bring himself to do so. He muttered curses to himself and leaned back on the bench, watching the ground with unseeing eyes. seemed that he would be spending the night here.
