If you were president....

If you won the office and were chosen for President, what would you do in office? (You can list if you want).

Heck this is what I would do:

USA:
-First, go down to Wall Street and talk it out with those down there and see what I can do to help the ecomony.

-Travel to New Orleans and help rebuild. Like totally help in. Not to just talk to the people but actually grabbing nails, hammers, and what not. yep I'd help build houses and fix the leevees.

-Help serve the poor in soup kitchens.

THE WORLD:

-Travel to poverty countries and help feed them but bring tons of food from the US. Also I'd help clean out the water.

-Hang out with the leaders and have a big meeting.

-Spend a whole month in Army bases in Afghanistan and Iraq, and see what the troops really want. Heck I'd bring more equiptment too.

-Travel to many places and do some sightseeing but bring along my family.

Being a heathen foreigner, I could never be US President, and also being a heathen foreigner, my views are heavily biased.

But if I was PM of the UK, I'd intend a massive overhaul of the education system, bringing back the tri-partate system of Comprehensives, Techs and Grammars in the state sector, and bring back the government aptitude-based scholarships for private schools until the state sector catches up on the league tables.

I'd also introduce congestion charges more widely across the country, in more of the heavily-populated cities, and try to encourage nuclear research and development, possibly stretching to a nuclear-based power network such as is found in France.

I'd also try to get our troops out of Iraq as fast as humanely possible.

Though the image of US President lounging around the Whitehouse in his underpants is quite a funny one... especially if he were to do so when foreign dignitaries came to visit. This would amuse me greatly.

Heh... With my sick twisted sense of humor it would only be rivaled by foreign dignitaries visiting when the president has a bad habit of sleep walking and picks a bad time to sleep off a hangover in the nude...

LOL some of you are sooo funny but I would've been like, "woo go Mr. President!" Oh yeah it also goes for Prime Ministers too. LT I think you'd make a great PM. (Hm thinking of writing to that office to step him down and let you take over. Muhaahaahaa. I know it won't happen but a girl can dream can she? I would've loved seeing that happen.)
