Um, hi all.
So, I might not be on much this week; and maybe not much next week either. It’s a really hard time for me emotionally right now.
I have my midterms due this week, so I’m doing all of those. I have my job, which is going to have a really heavy work-load this week as teachers are turning in their grades and needing tests corrected.
But, um, the killer right now? I’m enrolled in the school’s play, on crew. Because they were short-handed, and my employer signed me up since I pretty much am at school all the time anyway. The play we’re doing is “Of Mice and Men.” Um, if any of you know the story, you know about Lenny. The actor that plays Lenny and myself have known each other for a year or so now. We’re not “friends” in the normal term of the word. But we get along alright, kind of.
Today was the first practice with lights and sound. Again, if you know the story, you probably understand what I’m getting at. I couldn’t help but think of Elu, and a characterization of him that I see in Lenny. That started it, and it lead me to a more personal level.
I’m not going to get into how Lenny is personal, it’s none of your business. But, I thought I should let you all know why I won’t be on. I’m busy. I might be on AIM, if my emotion-control will let me be. But posting?
Probably not.
In Love and Death, -M.S.

That's fine. The book and the movie were good. I liked the movie better than the book though. Maybe it was because people weren't asking me what happens in the book because they didn't read the book like they were suppose to. But I hope everything goes fine with the play.

AMG I remembered the book! I never saw the movie but I did like the book. I think Lenny was the one that was the youngest right? I forgot its been a long time since I read the book.
