Rant About My Rant

So the following rant had been put up to get things off of my chest, but it was removed and very rudely replied to. I want staff input on my rant as well. Any others oppinions would be greatly appreciated as well. I feel that the rant room is for people to of course rant about things bothering them, and this was bothering me. So opinions and things like that.

First off I am not trying to disrespect anyone or hurt peoples feelings or what not. I would also like calm, collected opinions and answers if people so choose to answer this. Any sarcastic, smart ass, or rude remarks by anyone, be it staff or otherwise, will get the same in return as the golden rule goes "Treat others the way you want to be treated" Lets discuss, I find the lack of interest on this sites staff appalling on many levels. Granted, Isi is gone and can only get on maybe a couple hours a day if she is lucky. Others have school, work, etc I agree that one can not be completely devoted to the site and I am not blaming people for not being on a whole lot. However, of the Staff that are on every day none take it into their own hands to look at Bio's, look at other things that needed to be done. More than this is the unwillingness to cooperate with the members on what they think would be worth trying at least which would take little to no effort on the staff's part. They seem to argue just so they do not have to do more work on the site, so they can go do whatever else. Again I am not flaming anyone, harassing anyone, or trying to disrespect anyone. It just seems to bother me that they are not willing to go out of their way to help members unless it has a use for them. I used to be staff on multiple sites, and busted my ass to get things moving when they needed to. First as a member, then as a Moderator, and Finally as a Co-Administrator I was willing to listen to complaints from members, ideas , etc and convey them to other staff and have them do that. I also made sure that I was on top of Bio's and things that needed to be approved. Now my big gripe is that some people have been waiting for weeks to get an ancient approved, or even get it moved. There are 3 Administrators, Some one should be moving those to an application board, and trying to get the vote of other two. I know there are also people who come on at different times, so I do not see them as active as others, but thats still no reason to let so many things go unturned so to speak. I just feel that we as the members should have a right to post idea's and not have them shot down right away because the staff just does not feel like doing anything and from my own eyes, thats why so many have either left or are no longer active. For the site to grow as a whole, it has to start from top to bottom.

I said it before and I'll say it again. Rants about people on-site should not be posted. Though not rudely phrased, grievances like this should be aired privately. Issues with individuals or the staff should be private. Since you objected to my locking of the thread, I shall refer this to other members of staff who hopefully meet your high standards which I do not.

Straker. Rant threads are not to be ranted about anyone of the site. This includes Staff Members. Your last thread was locked and moved because I didn't want any fights starting out because you felt the need to vent about how staff can't do their job. So please. Stop posting your rant back up when this is locked and moved. Its really uncalled for. Staff do their jobs for a reason. We don't need to be told by members what we need to do or not need to do. But we do like suggestions. But we do not like being told that we can't do our job correctly. So please refrain from posting all of these rant threads.
