2) Bigotry, how so? I'm pro-life, and I do not see how my views are intolerant, any of them. Then again, I'm not extremist, so perhaps I lack the nutty streak. And how are the pro-life views disgusting? I am aware I'm in a minority on this one, but how is it disgusting to not want the unborn to die? I understand and accept that there are cases when abortion is necessary and even logical, the right thing to do, but I fail to see how the alternative in the non-vital cases falls into the category of disgusting. Everyone says their gym teachers took them for sex-ed. Is there some extra capacity of US gym teachers that I fail to see? We always got taught by a Nurse or a Biology teacher, or both, in some cases. Oops. See what happens when you post something half asleep. I meant to say pro-choice. Funny thing about certain organizations and the subject of Eugenics. A while back they loved the idea of abortion clinics in neighborhoods made up of mostly minorities. Probably because most gym teachers will not tolerate immature bullsh*t. Biology teachers or school nurses I've had wouldn't last ten minutes.

Ah I see. That makes more sense. I partly agree, though I wouldn't use the word "disgusting". And awful though eugenics seems, it happens anyway, to some degree. It's a natural part of human reproduction, if you stretch the ideas a bit. But even so, we are screening for diseases in unborn foetuses and such, so already we're on the slippery slope. Admittedly more abortions for ethnic minorities is a little further up the extreme scale, but still.
And evidently you've had the wrong sort of Biology teachers. I'd much rather mess with our P.E. (gym) teachers than with either of my old Biology lot. Biology teachers (or at least, the ones with whom I've had contact) are scary. P.E. teachers... not so much. And the Nurse was awesome... she was so scary it was funny.
Back on topic.
Whomever it is given by, sex-ed is an important part of preventing the need for abortions. If it's given badly, for example by gym teachers, it will inevitably lead to the need for more abortions, which will peeve the pro-lifers like myself. Maybe this stratagem should be pointed out to the Republicans, rather than "lets have fewer abortions". Or maybe not... I for one would rather they didn't get much popularity... but that's just me.

Funny thing about middle schools. For some reason they seem to like hiring Marines as gym teachers for male students. Schools over there could benefit from doing the same.

My health/sex ed tacher was specifically a health/sex ed teacher. She was just a moron tough.
She tells poeple that it's ok to pee on yourself in the shower because your pee is sterile. Even if that's true, you shouldn't go around supporting it and encouraging people to do it. Ew.
