I am aware that Obama is... a little to the left. I must admit I'm not quite so keen on that either. But unfortunately, American politics seems built on extremes. Where in the UK, all the major parties are centre-left or centre-right, or just centre, your two American ones (hm... two-party system... *looks worried*) are both quite... extremist. But it is my belief that, for the world, Obama is the lesser of two evils.

Here's another reason why I'm pro Obama. I've been looking for a job for months now, and I haven't gotten any luck. Then I've seen friends of mine laid off at work, and if McCain comes into office, I really feel that won't change. Obama is right when he says that McCain is just like Bush, he'll take the US on an even bigger downfall. Now McCain likes to say that he isn't associated with Bush, so why does Bush support him?

(1) I don't believe Flowery-Hopey-Change bullshit.

(2) I like clinging to my guns bitterly. Try to keep me from getting more to cling to or take the ones I am currently clinging to.... You better start running.... Because that is an issue I'd do very very very horrible violent things over... A guy I know of was put in the hospital for six months over a .22 revolver (stolen never recovered) by someone else I know. If it were me something would be buried in a swamp. It would weight about 176lbs too.

(3) I don't give a God damn what the world thinks about Americaland. Our country comes first. We're not out to be everyone's friend. Iraq is important to our national interests. If Europe or the rest of the world doesn't like it and have something to say about McCain being elected they can suck eggs. Call me a "warmongler" if you like. ;D

(4) I hate most of Barry's supporters. My parents have a small dog. Acts all cute and happy when I'm standing there sayings "Who's a stupid fooking retard? You're a stupid fooking retard aren't you? Aren't you?"

(5) As far as the economy/taxes go... Barry wouldn't know his hind quarters from a hole in the ground. It's really funny. He's gone to schools I'd never dream of going to. Yet I understand more than he does, and I'm a complete fooking idiot. Mythical "tax break" for 95% of Mericans. When more than half don't even pay taxes and/or actually get money back when they do. Not to mention this junk about anyone making less than $250k... Or is it $200k? Did your VP just drop it to $150k? My god you love picking knee jerk feel good numbers. Let's start spreadin that wealth around by stealing from those evil rich capitalist swine and giving it to the poor. Never mind that a good chunk of our poor have a place to live, cable TV, cellphones, and a car (I sh*t you not). I'd love to see you turn wine into water if the poor can give people jobs. I do predict a number of businesses going bust, just giving up, or moving to Eastern Europe. Last option only if Russia behaves. PS world. Our economy goes... Yours goes... Think about that for a while.

(6) Unlike Barry and his horde of mindless driveling minions I have no grudge against the 1A. If someone suggested the "Fairness Doctrine" or talked about hitting my up with multiple lawsuits for information that is true right now in my own home.... I'll simply use my right to tell them to get the fook out of my home or get their fooking head stomped in. Go ahead and call the Truth Squads if you like. Suing the state or using deadly force in what could be a home invasion doesn't bother me that much.

(7) Ayers was too much for me to stomach. Not after reading his little group's book. Funny that the ultra-left communists thought they could eleminate 25 million capitalist scum that could not be "re-educated" when all 25 million are armed and probably have a great deal of experience from the conflict in Vietnam. McCarthy was right. Be nice if I had that time machine. I'd love to take care of that little problem free of charge.

(8) Funny that he thinks alternative energy (everything except nuclear) can solve our energy problems. I think he's going the route of the UK. One more bullet in revolver's cylinder. Yay. Economic suicide (previously ushered by the EU for our friends across the pond). So you want to get rid of power plants using coal? By all means let's knock out something that provides a significant chunk of energy. Especially in the country that is with coal that Saudi Arabia is with oil. Let's nix the natural gas option as well. I think I'd prefer a couple coats/hates made from the all the dead polar bears and baby seals. Come to think of it I'll personally make the trip up North to club the baby seals to death with polar bears so they don't have to drown.

(9) Barry... You better not even consider appointing someone who talks about providing funding to militant Palestinian groups to any office. If you're too dumb to get that the stone age inhabitants of the middle east are trying wash their mouth out with a revolver you're too dumb to be president. If anyone doesn't get that part either: "Let my soul die with the Philistines"

(10) Healthcare. Hm... Try to solve it by throwing money at it. Sounds wonderful. Never mind that Canada's (35+ million?) system isn't something to brag about. Nor is the UK's (60+ million?). Especially when talk is that the current systems won't be able to handle that mass amount of people who will be living there in the future. It'd be fun to see what ours would do with 300+ million people in this country. If I get hurt outside the jobsite. It comes out of my pocket. I'll still stick with trying to handle the healthcare thing on my own and avoiding hospitals one would see in the deepest parts of some third world nation. I'll also pass on paying for someone else's poor life choices. Speaking of that universal healthcare would no longer be universal eventually just to save money from the massive cost. Smoke? No healthcare for you! Drink? No healthcare for you! Over weight? No healthcare for you! Old age? No healthcare for you! History of heart trouble or cancer in your family? No healthcare for you!

Well, I'll start easy, and with that most likely to get me hated. I'm not in any way for funding militants of any sort (and I do include armies in this), but I'm glad someone wants to support Palestine... I mean... FOR GOD'S SAKE YOU STUPID ISRAELIS, THE ROMANS CHUCKED YOU OUT OVER A THOUSAND YEARS AGO, IT BELONGS TO PALESTINE FAR MORE THAN YOU, YOU RETARDS! Stop trying to win the sympathy vote while being jerks... yes, you had a sucky time because of Hitler, but that's no excuse for being utter... <insert word which my vocabulary will not permit>. I do not like the Israelis very much... Not that the Palestinians behave much better, but it was their damn country for so many smegging years, then bam, nope, you got to budge.

It means you can have that operation you need to remove your appendix, or the drugs to treat your cancer, so I'm quite happy with that. As I say, National Health is made of win.

All other "alternative" sources suck and are a complete waste of money on a large scale. You of all people should know this. So until people wake the hell up, vote out the current crop of idiots, and nuke plants start being built the other sources stay. We're not nixing our economy like your elected idiots. It most certainly is nothing to brag about. I do remember that little MRSA scare and it proved something interesting. Not to mention a fair chunk of people receive care without paying a single dime to your beloved .gov. Got a pretty cool word for that. You can guess what it is. By the way ER (in most of the states I know of) cannot turn someone away just because they do not have insurance. If the sum of moolah given to them by our beloved .gov cannot cover the costs of all the people they treat who cannot pay they're just in the hole for the remaining amount. Not entirely true. There is a great deal to be said for some of the alternatives. However, due to public moronity and lack of knowledge/intelligence/care there is no support. And what politician does something that will be unpopular? None of the modern ones. I vote to resurrect Disraeli.

As to the NHS. In my opinion it is the best system. No one has to worry about paying for expensive treatments, because everyone is entitled, and no one has to deal with debts at all. Healthcare is not a privilege of the rich but a right. Why the hell should it be restricted only to those who can afford it?
Basically, despite any flaws that may exist in the NHS, it would be considerably worsened by privatisation. In its nationalisation, it provides a basic standard of health which all can expect, not aspire to. Socialist... maybe... but I'm quite happy to pay tax if it means I get my operations and so on without mega-debt.
No one pays dimes to our government. We are not yet the fifty-first state, thank-you so much. We do, however, pay pounds. I am one of those who doesn't, as of yet. But those who don't, either have a reason (unemployment, studentship, old age... logical reasons) or are illegal immigrants/tax evaders who should be dealt with accordingly. *points to the law* I'm not defending my country's ability to deal with immigration, which sucks, but I will defend the NHS.

Oooooo..... Healthcare a right? I've been searching for that little right over here. Only it seems to be absent. There is however a right to life, but no one says you have a right to a comfortable healthy life. No one has a right to whatever knowledge is in my brain or my skills as a "janitor". I'll personally (key word) make an exception if I'm properly compensated. This also applies to doctors and surgeons. You can have a right to those things when you drill the gray goop out of my cold dead skull.

By all means keep your NHS. I don't care if people want a government run health care system here. Which would be interesting seeing as how our government cannot even run a whore house without losing money, I sh*t you not. Thing is I don't want a part of it nor do I want anyone who agrees with me to be forced to be part of it. Come to think about it we've already got government healthcare here. Provided to all members of the armed forces. Funny thing is that being "healthy" is a job requirement, you can't quit your job, and you can't sue your doctor/surgeon for sewing an arm to your bum while drunk or missing that gaping hole in your side.
