Mum came to visit me today, brought my mail. She didn't forward it because it "didn't look important"...
Oh dear.
Two of the letters were from the bank. I am, on one of my accounts, a little overdrawn. It's a pathetic amount I can easily pay back from another, but it comes with... issues. A daily overdrawn charge of £6... and a monthly extra charge of £15. The letter should have reached me on November the 18th. Oh... smeg...
So I've got to go to the bank tomorrow to try to stop them charging me £87 on an overdraft of something piddly. Less than £10. It's STUPID! I can pay that back in change, but no. I have to give them the better part of £100 to sort it out. GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!

Hell no. I'm not telling her. If I do that, she'll think I'm still a useless child incapable of shouting at bank staff on her own account. And in all fairness, it doesn't look important. GAH! Why do the bank charge such EXTORTIONATE rates? Stupid question. But £6 per day?!?! I'm lucky I can actually pay them. But god... almost £100 for something ten times less than that. Ugh.

Tell them it's their own bloody fault because the post did not reach you on time, making it their fault. Not to mention, mentioning an outrage, etc. etc. switching banks etc. etc.
Once the bank moved money in my accounts of savings and checking of 100 dollars, moving around 20 into the other account and having 80 totally disappearing from my monthly statement! Needless to say that they got an earful and such.

Don't be too harsh. They might remember you during your bid for PM.

That might be a good reason to be harsh, Janitor. They might cower in fear and vote for me lest I visit terror upon them.
But yes, the bank will be getting my irritation later. After another two hours of Latin (to follow the two I've just had). Monday is not a great day for me.

I don't know. Some disgruntled former employee might leak said information to the press. After all who would want someone who can't keep up with their own money in charge of the country's? ;D

Bleh. Went in today. They blame me, because I could have checked my account on a cash machine (oh sorry, this is the account I use to pay college bills and very little else... why would I bother?) and so I had to pay up. Bleh. I didn't shout at anyone but I was definitely not a happy bunny.
