So it all comes down to this, Jack thought. Staring at the building's entrance from the front seat of his land rover. If he didn't make a move now his trade wouldn't be going no where. Wouldn't be so bad, but the little nickel and dime stuff he was stuck with wasn't enough. He wanted more. It required taking a fair chunk out of the supernatural population. Two thousand in a few months. It would crush the competition without a shot being fired.
Only problem was he couldn't pull those numbers alone. He needed more hunters, or at least the ability to clone himself. Since the latter wasn't possible he would have to do a little recruiting. Of course it was going to be tough since other hunters had been a past quarry. Not to mention they had long memories and "No" wasn't an answer. So he'd have to bring a few tools of persuasion along. Since he would be walking away with another hunter one way or the other.
"Better now than never." he chuckled. Before stepping out of the car he reached over in the passenger seat to grab the shotgun he had brought along. Basic Mossberg 590A1 with a few tweaks to leave the action "slick as owl shit". Heavy wall barrel along with the sights had been removed and replaced with a regular barrel covered by a heat shield. Single tritium bead at the end of the barrel for aiming. Light mounted on the fore-end as usual. The bayonet lug was still there. Nine shots in the gun. Regular load in the chamber and a mystery load three down in the tube. Anything more than that was going to leave a lot of nasty holes in whatever he shot.
Snagging a coat draped over the driver seat he pulled it up over the shotgun. It also covered the few plastic shell holders looped on his belt. Not to mention the holstered pistol and magazine carriers. Knife was barely visible. Just a noticeable bulge on his left hip. Walking straight for the door he slapped his chest just to see how it felt with the body armor. New flexible vest he had picked up. Able to stop repeated hits from rifle rounds at close range from what was said about it. He was skeptical, but it would be put to the test tonight.
Usual plan. Offer money, glory, blood, or whatever. If they didn't go for it lean on them a bit. If they were being stubborn, "negotiate". If they didn't want to negotiate, intimidate. If that didn't work he'd bring up the draft. Which involved dragging them out kicking and screaming if need be. Of course if with what he was packing there would be no kicking and little screaming.
Killing wasn't off the table entirely. Only if taking them alive wasn't possible and his life was in danger. Stepping up to the door he blew out the lock and pushed it open. Desolate ware house with nothing in the area but a few old shipping containers and a suffocating darkness. "Hola! I hope I wasn't interrupting anything mon ami."

Isi closed her eyes which seemed a bit strained. She was getting no where with this vampire. It was obvious to herself and to him that they both knew one very simple thing. No matter what she did to the creature he would never talk, never. And it was just as well because she had just finished slicing his tongue from his mouth. "It's apparent, even vampires can bleed" [/b] she muttered to herself as she dropped the tongue on the floor. She held up her blade in a non threatening position for they both knew what she could do with it, what she had done with it. From the reflection of the blade she could see her pink hair, it was fashioned in a ponytail, curls were spread on either side behind her head while bangs ran down her forehead. Aside from some matching pink eyeshadow and drips of blood her clothing had sustained she was not wearing any other form of makeup. She took another long look at the vampire. "Pathetic, Pathetic!" she screamed at him as she drove the blade enraged by his silence again and again and again. "Tell me where you fucking colony is. Tell me, tell me"[/b] she screamed again still enraged by his silence. Each time she dove the blade in, pushed it further and further, and made new spots she screamed for him to tell her. It was apparent to Isi that this man was good, he would be protective of his family. Maybe she should have started off slower, maybe she should have only threatened to cut off his tongue when he would be wary, but now he had no tongue to talk with. His fingers were long past gone, as was his toes. The warehouse was filthy, covered with his dirty, dirty vampire parts. She sat on the table with the man, knees bent as she danced the knife over his head. "I am only going to ask you once more. Where is your vampire colony headquarters. If I do not receive an answer then I will find them all and torture them just as I had done for you, but if you tell me and I don't have to waste a whole bunch of time searching for them then I will kill them,"[/b] she paused as she thought over her next words, "humanely!"[/b] she hummed a little tune she thought of in her head, a parody of the game show jeopardy. He still wasn't talking, he had no tongue. She towered over her and huffed her exhaled breath in his eye sockets. "I guess it's the hard way, shame!"[/b] She moved to sit behind him as blood was pooling out of his mouth still and she didn't want to accidentally sit in some. She proceeded to make small incisions with her knife and his head. She was cutting very slowly, removing the knife and then cutting again, slowly like she was a talented chief or brain surgeon. She was going to cut open his brain and make a mold like play dough. But then she heard it, the outside lock went boom. "Fuck!"[/b] who was interrupting her? The police? She had to make quick work of this. She dumped her black bloodied gloves off and picked up her modified glock number eighteen with all the fixings (including silencer) off of the chair. She shot one silver round into the vampires heart killing him dead then aimed her gun at the door. She moved behind a beam thankful for her dark black clothes which would help hide her, unless of course the guy turned on the lights. She didn't want to waste a silver bullet shooting out the light so she would leave it be. If it was S.W.A.T. or the F.B.I. she may have some trouble but they would bolt the door, they wouldn't shoot the lock. Who was she dealing with? The figure had to step inside because she heard their male voice. "Who the hell are you?"[/b] Isi asked as she simultaneously fired, she didn't care who they were even if she was a tad bit curious as to how they found her. [/blockquote][/font]

"I'm Jesus." he answered right before he saw the muzzle flash. It hit at about the same time and he knew what to expect. Right in the stomach causing him to double over. If he were not out of breath he'd have yelled a popular four letter word starting with "F". Straightening back up he walked farther into the room pulling the shotgun out from under his coat. "See? I'm healed. It's a miracle! Hallelujah! Except that shit hurts like crap man." he chuckled. "Could you do me a favor and at least let me speak before you start up with the shooty guns again?"
He calmly racked the slide of the shotgun clearing the spent shell he had just used to blow the lock. The sound of the action working echoed through the building. That sound was something hardly anyone wanted to hear. It certainly got their attention. "You can settle on down. Unless you want to go ahead and throw one of those wimpy Euro-pellets my way. Just keep in mind I'll be throwing fifteen back with each shot." he explained. It was a bluff on his part, but a damn good one. No one wanted to be on the business end of a shotgun loaded with 00 buck. However nobody else knew of the home cooked LTL load in the chamber and the magazine.
"Now I'm going to hit the lights. If I hear that pea shooter you've got go off, and believe me I will, I'm going to light your ass up like a Christmas tree. You want to chance it be my guest. I'll hammer you into oblivion like fucking Thor himself." he warned. Very slowly he moved out of the doorway. The odds of him not getting shot were better now that he didn't provide the hunter with a silhouette. He felt around for a light switch with his free hand. Keeping the shotgun pointed in the direction of the hunter.
When the lights came back on his eyes were drawn to the table. Which had what was left of a vampire. A few appendages were lying on the floor in a pile. If he could examine the body he could get an idea as to the type of person he was dealing with. Even though he already knew he was dealing with mean bitch. "Certainly did a number on him. Now if you'll refrain from shooting me for at least two seconds... You wouldn't mind telling me 'Who the hell are you'?"

[Sorry I didn't see you posted.]
Isi sniffed up a laugh. Jesus? Her eyes tuned in to the man, her certainly was Jesus, risen from the dead. He could be anything ranging from a filthy vampire to a filthy werewolf to a filthy human. But at least one thing she was sure on, he was alone. He was not police. She could have laughed, could have given some retort but that would give her position away if the man already did not know it.
As he spoke about her wimpy euro pelleted gun she moved in the darkness to stand behind another design pillar. She felt safer with another position and this one would be of better interest to her for the side door, however, it was locked. It would only take a moment to set in example as a certain creature had already shown her to blow it off its hinges. The only problem with that is for it could not be locked behind her. Locking the door afterwords would give her a few seconds start, especially if the man fumbled with his gun in a hurry to catch up with her. But she was thinking too far ahead, for why should she run? This man, beast, creature should be the one to run in fear from Isi.
She was quite confused. Why did this man want to speak with her? She knew one thing though, he wanted her alive or he would have started to shoot back, which she had been expecting. Her eyes blinked once and then twice, she wasn't used to the light. Was she dealing with another human? That would be extraordinary in itself. The only reason she was thinking like that was for who else would turn on the lights to grasp their positions? Vampires and were beasts could very well see in the dark perhaps better then the light itself.
"I should be the one to ask who the hell are you. You just rained on my little fun here. I had to quickly rush an ending when I heard you bust my door, which by the way, I do hope you have enough money to buy me a new lock!" [/b] Of course this wasn't her building at all and the owners, a big company, would sprucely be worried about what happened here. "So who the hell are YOU?"[/b] and then she realized she hadn't asked the more important of questions. "And what the hell are you?"[/b] [/blockquote][/font]
