Aiden sat on a bench in one of the secluded areas of Central Park. She had been more involved with her master Shadows lately, and she knew that would mean catching up with his other servant, Scarlet. They had never really been friends, in the most basic definition of the word. In fact due to Aiden's blunt nature and agressive attitude, Scarlet sometimes annoyed the hell out of Aiden. but she figured it was time to talk to her anyway.
So she sat, waiting for her not-quite-friend to show up. They needed to talk about what roles they each had in Shadows life, and what he had planned for them. Aiden had her own secret mission that she would not disclose, but there were other things the two of them could discuss. And she wanted to see if Scarlet had changed at all. Aiden remembered her as somewhat weak and clingy. She wondered if Scarlet was still the same?

Scarlet walked along with effortless silence. Her boots made no noise on the concrete as she moved, thanks to her feral blow out. In most ways she regretted killing a town full of people, but in others she was happy, it had sharpened her senses and had brought them back from hiding. It seemed that her additude had changed as well, she was more confident, but was still Scarlet. Looking around with sparkling eyes Scarlet wondered why exactly Aiden wished to see her all of a sudden. Perhaps it was about Shadows and the situation she had gotten herself in, but Scarlet wasnt entirely sure about that yet. She couldnt trust Shadows as far as she could throw him right now.
Upon finding Aiden Scarlet smiled brightly, her whole being lighting up. She was still as stunning as ever, even in her baggy attire. Scarlet approached the bench slowly. "Hello Aiden, its nice to see you again." She said in a pleasent tone, actually meaning the words this time around. Scarlet did still hold a small grudge against her for being Shadows favorite, dispite what he said about her. But that pushed aside, she was nicer. Scarlet took a seat on the other side of the bench. "Is there a specific reason why you've asked me here? Last i checked you we're too fond of me." She smiled playfully, with a slight edge to it, but nothing more. Scarlet was on her best behavior.

Aiden watched Scarlet come toward her with focused eyes. She took in every move with precise attention, trying to see if Scarlet had any weapons on her just in case. She didn't imagine she would try to attack her out of the blue, but it never hurt to be careful. When Aiden was satisfied that Scarlet was not here to fight she relaxed a bit. She knew Scarlet must be a bit confused, because it wasn't as if they were close or anything. But Aiden had her reasons for this meeting.
"Scarlet, I'm glad you came. It's been a long time since we've been able to talk." Aiden was sure Scarlet had been up to plenty of things since the last time they saw eachother. Scarlet was always up to something, whereas Aiden liked to stay away from other people and do her business in private. "I thought that since I've been working with Shadows more closely, it might be a good idea for us to catch up. Just in case we have to work together sometime soon. It will make it easier I think." It was true Aiden would never have picked a girl like Scarlet as a friend under normal circumstances. Aiden thought that Scarlet was too soft. And too willing to turn against her own choices when presented with something better. It made it hard for Aiden to trust her.
"I thought maybe we could jsut talk about what each of us has been up too. Have you been working for Shadows much lately?" Aiden knew Scarlet had been in and out of the estates recently. In fact it had been busy there lately. "Have you met that freaky guy, Gabriel? He and his twin sister have been around." Not that Aiden had seen the cat boy's twin. She seemed to be afraid of her own shadows, and avoided people at all costs. "Oh, and how's Linx doing? It's been months since I've been able to talk to him. Has he still been working for Shadows as well?" Aiden was pretty sure her questions had covered all of the important things that she knew Scarlet cared about. At least she hoped so.
