Summary:
Jacob is a master at many things that seem to have mostly everything to do with combat and for a good reason. After years in the military and a few years working for Blackwater, a mercenary company, he has aquired specialties in all kinds of fire arms ranging from sidearms to heavy duty automatic weapons. Explosives can be quiet useful in weeding out a nest of vampires and spending a year in school with the mercenary companies he can now build, maintain, repair, and use high explosive weaponry. Jake's father was a collector of sorts and also a famous hunter who preffered swords and daggers to weapons. Jake preffers the simple use of a high velocity 5.62 millimeter round than a blade but his father forced the instruction on him day and night from the age of 5 untill his 17th birthday when his father was murdered. While in the military he learned every technique offered in hand-to-hand combat and mastered every known and accepted form of marshal arts. This was required of him during his stint in special forces which also gave him minor skills in intell gathering, undercover operations, and vehicle repair and restoration.

Summary:
True the last two seem out of place but if one truly got close to Jake they would see they really are weaknesses. The slightest mention of his father or mother and Jake either goes ballistic or numb and either of these qualities when in a dangerous situation multiply the chances of death. With his personnal view of children being the only pure innocence in the world Jake has an unwielding softspot for all children and would put his life before there's in an instant. Also if ever one was in danger he would purposely draw the creatures or mans attention onto himself even if he was direly injured. Even after falling for it many times before and barely escaping the damsel in distress routine will always get him. When Jake sees a female in danger of anykind he instantly tries to rush to the rescue and this quality has endangered his life and the life of his freinds in the past. Once one shows friendship to Jake he instantly trusts them with his life and anyone elses. This trait can lead to many botched plans, death of those close to him, or even the death of himself. Since Jake was 15 he has had a massive addiction to Redsmoke due to his father's gruesome eath right before his eyes. Many times in the past he has cut a mission short to go make a buy at the slightest sense of anxiety. This addiction both got him discharged from the military and his mother kidnapped.
