Andrew Harris headed straight towards the city bus that stopped near a stop. Luckily he made it and entered. "Merci," he said to the driver. With him is some french money he was able to get before coming to Paris, since he wasn't sure if American money can be used. In fact, while he is here, Lucifer is back at home. He tried to get his friend/roommate to come but he knows that its always next time. He hasn't been to Paris before, so its quite exciting.
Andrew placed the money in the money box to pay for the ticket and got the ticket from the slot. He walked to the back of the bus and sat down near the window. The bus took him straight to one place he hasn't been to yet-the Notre Dame, of which was said to be named after Nostradamus. He had read about him in school and now he is going to visit one of the most well known churches of all time. A smile escaped his lips. When the bus stopped Andrew got off and stopped to look up at the building with its beautiful structure. "Wow," was all he said.

Aiden Riley was in Paris for a few reasons. First, Shadows had been sending her all over the place lately, apparently trying to figure out which city to destroy next. Second, it was close to where she was originally born and raised, or at least on the same continent, and she had been dying to go back for a visit. And third, she was going crazy in New York, and had wanted some sort of escape. That was how she had found herself traveling to France of all places.
It was however, very ironic that she had found herself here, in front of the church. She hadn't been in a church for decades. Being a vampire had given her an aversion to them for some reason. But as she stared up at the structure, she could appreciate the beauty and craft that had gone into building it so many years ago. It was calming and since it was just dusk, the crowd had dimmed and left only a few straglers behind, gawking at the site. Maybe she could finally take rest from her hectic schedule and have a chance to enjoy her own time for once. The humans didn't bother her here either. That was a good thing, because it meant she wasn't ready to snap and attack all of thier throats on a moments notice.

Andrew took some more time to admire it then he took out his camera to take a picture of the building and after he stuffed it back in his pocket, he gazed up at one of the towers next. He remembered also the book The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and the movies. Not only the disney one of course.
"Beautiful huh?" he asked the woman nearby as his blue eyes trailed from the building to her then back to the building next. "I've always wanted to come to here. I mean not only here, but to Paris too." He turned to her. "So, um, are you a visitor like me also?" Of course normally he doesn't talk to anyone but it doesn't hurt. He looked down at the ground as shyness came to him once more. Its not that its because she's beautiful, but he can get really shy sometimes. Too bad he's into guys.

Aiden's attention was deflected from the building to the stranger beside her as he started talking to her. "Oh uh...yeah, it's beautiful." She hadn't expected anyone to talk to her here. She was so used to her anti social behavior that she was distracted for a moment. but she collected herself, not wanting to be rude on what was supposed to be a plesant night. She turned to give him her full attention, her pale eyes looking at his face. "Actually I've been here before, but it has been a long time."
She was actually enjoying a conversation with someone that didn't involve work or fighting. she noticed he was shy, and smiled slightly. She had been like that once, a very long time ago. "Is this your fist time here? I hope you'll enjoy it. Paris is very welcoming to visitors." She brushed a strand of her loose, very long, dark hair away from her face. "Everything here is beautiful."

Andrew nodded his head. "It is, its my very first time. I was hoping my roommate comes but he is at home back in New York so I decided to come instead. I'm going to take loads of pictures. And thanks, I hope I will," he said to the woman after he looked up at her and gave her a smile though he is still being very shy. Yep you would have to break through the mold to try to get him to talk more.
"It is so far, the texture of each building is unique and I also love the food. I've tried a burger just a few hours ago, quite different from the American burger and you are right, there has been quite some people that had been very nice. Luckily I knew french from school so it was easy. So you moved to the US? Also what's your name? My name is Andrew." Andrew stuck out his hand towards the woman to shake. Hopefully after this night is through he'd have another friend. If so then that would be grand.

Aiden thought this slightly shy man was adorable. His first trip to Paris, huh? For some reason she could imagine him as a child, excied for his christmas presents. She imagined his face would look just like it did while he explained his adventures in Paris so far. She smiled when he mentioned Ney York. "You live in New York? That's where I'm living as well. I'm surprised I've never seen you there before, but I suppose it is a big city." That and she was only out at night.
She shook his hand briefly when he offered it, her skin was cold, and she didn't draw the touch out for fear of him noticing too much. "I moved to the US a while ago. I'm originally from Italy. But I haven't lived there in a long time." If only he knew how long. It had been almost 200 years since Aiden had lived in Rome. "My name is Aiden. Do you mind if I ask you what you are hoping to see while you're here in Paris?"

"Yep, I live in New York, near central park. I'm sharing an apartment with a friend of mine named Lucifer. I met him in the park once and helped him out of the park since he got lost. So then when we got to his place he said I can stay with him if I want. I had no where to live so its perfect. I was actually born in New York but its a long story as to why I wasn't in New York for a while."
Andrew didn't mind the feeling of her hand being cold since he was used to vampires, and when the woman spoke he noticed the fangs. In fact he was amazed he'd meet another one. At least its not Trevor, he doesn't have to worry about. "Well, let's see. I would so love to see the Eiffel Tower next, I haven't been able to be at the top, and of course the Arc, and lastly, the palace of King Louis IV. So, what about you, Aiden? Are you here for vacation as well?"

This human was endearing to her. He seemed very good natured, it was amusing and that was a change for most humans. "Well those are all very nice places to see, I've been to them a time or two. New York gets a little too busy for my tastes at times, so yes, I like to come to Europe on vacation cometimes." Although this trip would be a very short one. She would have to go back to America soon.
"The Eiffel tower is always my favorite. I like to go at night because you can see the lights of all the city below you. It's very nice, unless you're afraid of heights." She smiled. It had been a long time since she had a conversation not plagued by business and order. It was nice to say what she wanted to say for a change.

"Yeah, I think I should from now on. I'm going to so ask Lucifer, my roommate, if he'd like to come to Paris sometime. He said he lived in Europe and once I went to Australia but that was cause I well snuck on the plane and some dude didn't bother help me out he left me on the side of the road." Yeah some nice person he was.
"Anyway, back to the topic. Yeah I've seen pictures of the Eiffel Tower, that's so next on my list. Oh yeah! Nah not really I'm very fond of them. Say I have an idea. Would you like to come with me to visit it?" he asked, since now he has a friend he would like the person to come with him. "Oh also, what do you feel about guys liking guys? Are you okay with it? Because well, I...like guys." He hopes she is. If she's not then well he has a problem. However, even if he doesn't like guys he's the type of person that's okay with it.

Aiden was surprised at the amount of talking Andrew was doing now. At first he had been so shy but she supposed he was more comfortable with her after a little while. She smiled, seeing the excitement in his eyes again. "I'll go with you. It can be a little scary to be up so high, but I think you'll have fun. It would be nice if your friend could come with you next time you travel. Then you won't have to do all these things alone."
Aiden laughed then. "Trust me, I have no problem with you if you like guys." Aiden herself didn't mind at all, she had the philosophy of letting people love whoever they wanted. She herself was practically asexual. She did find men attractive, but it was a rarity for her to even think about them after so much time. "I will not judge you for something like that, I promise."

"Oh really? Hey thanks Aiden, I would really like that. You know I should tell him to come and show him around where I went to and what not." Andrew hasn't realized he is now talking a lot but that is a good improvement. In fact he was glad he moved in with Lucifer. Luce was really a great friend, in fact he was the first one that really brought out everything in Andrew.
You can say Andrew kind of had a crush on him but heck unlike others he never hit on him. Heck he never even had a boyfriend. And he thinks he probably won't not after when he kissed his next door neighbor who was straight, and practically freaked the boy out. Like its Andrew's fault? He was only 11!
"Really? Oh thanks again," Andrew replied, his voice filled with sincerity. In fact he's glad he met her. Yay another friend! Then an idea came to mind. He hopes she likes it. "Hey I have another idea, what do you say after we head to the tower, we go into a nightclub? I was thinking to go to one but if you wanted me to ask a guy to dance, you got the wrong guy. I am now comfortable talking to you but when it comes to trying to ask a guy out, that's a different story." Andrew began to walk and smiled at his new friend. "Hey Aiden, have you ever had a boyfriend?"

Aiden was glad her new, somewhat quirky friend was opening up to her. He seemed to be very sincere and sweet. Sort of adorable, she though again, as his thoughts and emotions flashed rapidly over his face. The idea of going into a night club was actually appealing to Aiden. Foreign clubs were much better than the ones she used to work in back in the states. "Sure, we can go to a club. I like to dance, even if I'm dancing alone." She smiled.
And of course, the subject of boyfriends had come up. She walked beside her new friend for a minute, thinking about how to answer. Her hair blew into her face as they walked, and she pushed it away again. "Boyfriends..." She shook her head. "I really haven't had many. I'm attracted to men, and I have dated now and then, but I just never seem to get into relationships." Aiden thought that maybe the reason was because she was so independant. She liked to do things for herself, and men seemed to think they had to help her with everything. Like she was weak or something. "So no, no boyfriends lately for me, what about you?"

Andrew's confidence grew every moment, and he felt happier than ever. Here, he has another friend, someone who didn't find him weird when he was babbling so much. Just like Lucifer, she takes lightly to him, and Scarlet. Well then its sealed, he has another friend and that's pretty cool. "Well then, you have yourself a clubmate," he replied grinning from ear to ear. "This is actually my first time in a foreign club. So I'm sure it'd be different. Hey I could dance along with you. You don't have to dance alone." Hey he's being nice. Besides, they're friends, why not?
Next, when he had asked her about if she has a boyfriend, Andrew listened to Aiden's answer, while the two continued to walk. He stuffed his hands in his pockets, had his face looking towards the ground then slowly back up to her face while she spoke. After she shook her head and then finished what she was saying and asked him that, Andrew thought for a moment. "Never say never. Maybe its not meant for you right now but I'm sure in the future you'll find the right guy, who shares the same beliefs. Though that's what my father told me, but I believe in that. Boyfriends for me? No not at all. I guess you can say I'm very very shy when it comes to asking a guy out."

Aiden smiled, "Yeah we can dance together. Foreign clubs....I like them better than American clubs. People are not as rude and annoying here. A lot of American guys, and even women, can be very competitive and try to show off. It's more laid back here." She kept walking, thinking of what club to go to after they saw the eiffel tower. There were a few good ones scattered around the city. But she would let Andrew choose if he wanted.
Aiden smiled...finding the right guy. Well it had been a very long time already, she hoped if it ever did happen, that it would just hurry up. She wasn't the type to wait around for a guy though. If she met someone....she would figure it out then. Aiden smiled when Andrew told her he was shy. "Yeah, I noticed at first you were very shy. But I think if you just be yourself, a guy will notice. They'll see who you really are if you get to know them." She shrugged, it would probably be easy for Andrew to find a guy once he let someone get to know him. He was a very nice guy, and genuine. People were attracted to that.

"Sounds like something I should really try, since well I barely went out in the states that much," he admitted. "I would have but my years were wasted away by an insane vampire who decided to use me as his personal Winn Dixie and sex store. But now since I ran away I have all the time to do what I usually want to do. Thank god I also have a home to live in, thanks in part to my friend who had allowed me to stay with him." Amen to that, since if he didn't he'd end up homeless. And no, Andrew does NOT want that.
Andrew smiled back in return. He wasn't kidding that she wouldn't have no problem finding a guy since well she's a knockout. As for him, he hopes so but she is making a good point. Be yourself, that's the key. "Thanks Aiden, that made me feel better," he added. "So ready to go and have some fun? Hey you never know the right guy could be there. You just have to not to look and let him find you, that's what I'm going to do." Andrew looked ahead and looked straight at the Eiffel tower, how it shone in the Parisian night. "Wow, it looks so beautiful," he added, but to make sure she would know what he is talking about, he pointed towards the tower with his thumb.
