The Valtieri Estates became Vincents after his parents were fond brutally murdered, and as he was the eldest living son. He's recently given the mansion a massive overhaul, completely modernizing it with the latest technologies and securities, not looking favourably on unwanted guests.
The Grounds:
• Servants Quarters
• Gardens
• Tool Sheds
• Gate House
The entrance to the mansion proper. There is always at least one person in the gate house, ready to open or close the silver gates, and check those who are visiting to the mansion. That was in the old days, now, it's just an ivy covered hut, with the massive silver gates open for all to enter. If one is perceptive though, they might notice the hidden cameras placed along the walls and corners of the compound, relaying all their info to their ever vigilant master. Most that worked in the mansion lived on the grounds themselves, staying in the quarters provided. The mansion itself occupies an easy two square city blocks, and rises to three stories, but six total, three above, and three below the surface. The gardens were kept by the people on the grounds, and the courtyard inside the mansion itself had a massive rose garden maze, with a small covered pavilion at the center. Recently, gardeners have been brought in, restoring it to the glory it once knew, and is constantly maintained by the well payed workers.
1st Floor:
• Dining Rooms
• Ballrooms
• Audience hall
• Washrooms
• Bottom Floor Library
The first floor, as is plainly obvious, is used for social gatherings by the current head of house. He’d hold parties frequently, getting to know anyone around the area, before the cities grew further away. Now, they are there for parties that he might once again hold in the future, though it seems unlikely now. The bottom floor of the library is also located on this floor, occupying a corner of the mansion on it's own.
2nd Floor:
• Doctors Offices
• Clinic
• Chapel
• Mid Level Library
• Guest Rooms
The second floor has the doctors offices and the clinics. Personal doctors reside within the mansion, offering medicine and support to the workers that require aid, payed handsomely by the current owner of the mansion. The chapel was built by Vincent's ancestor for their love, and now serves as a place of worship for those of a religious inclination, or for weddings for the villagers that no longer reside anywhere close. The second floor of the library, and the last, also rests here, with the old librarian and his office dwelling somewhere deep within. Also on this floor are the guests rooms, where anyone staying at the mansion can rest.
3rd Floor:
• Vincents Private Chambers
• Master Bath
• Private Library
• Private Music Room
• Special Guest Rooms
• Security Room
This floor is mostly maintained by Vincent himself, and the few select servants he allowed within. The small library here is home to the rarest of Vincents books, mostly those of a bygone era, that few people could identify or read. He even managed to obtain some books from the library that Alexander the Great burned down, proof of the rarity of the tomes contained within. The music room is for his own personal indulgence, a few assorted instruments are within, and Vincent returns once and awhile to rest and relax while playing some of his favourite music. The rooms on this floor are meant for visiting nobility or royalty, or people especially close to Vincent, though no one other than he has resided on this floor in centuries. Here also rests the main room for the security grid of his home. A large room with a chair in the center, surrounded by monitors on all sides that he might take in the view of the grounds, with a personal computer located here that he might access the security systems.
B1 Floor:
• Store Rooms
• Kitchens
• Miners Rooms
• Spare furnishings
This is the first floor beneath the castle, built into the mountain long ago. The kitchens are located here, and food is delivered to the other floors by a series of dumbwaiters and cleverly concealed elevators. The miners rooms are meant for the people working the mines on the floor below, though no miners have been in residence for at least a century after the mansions creation. This is also the floor where the spare furnishings for the mansion are kept.
B2 Floor:
• Mines
• Store Rooms
• Break Rooms
This floor was meant for the mines and minors, covering much of the mountain area around the mansion. The tunnels run back and forth, and have been excellently reinforced to prevent the mansion above from sinking down into the earth. Located at the deepest part of the mines, where few know of it’s existence, a single, heavily reinforced steel door resides. Only Vincents has the key to this door, and only he know what lay beyond it. This is the entrance to the floors beneath it.
B3 Floor:
• Arenas
• Armories
• Holding Cells
• Forges
• Training Rooms
This floor was a creation of his ancestors design. He’d capture rare and exotic animals, even immortals and humans, and hold them in the cells beneath. For the twisted he’d find at his parties, he’d invite them beneath, to witness bloody combat to rival the romans of ages ago. Most who saw the inside of these walls, never returned alive. Armories and Forges were built here to arm the combatants and maintain their gear, in order to make combat more interesting for the few spectators. Vincent himself was forced to fight here many times. Much to his displeasure however, he has kept the armories fully stocked with the most modern weapons, moving those that go out of date into his museums. This floor also holds Vincent's private training rooms, where he recedes into the darkness to better himself personally, or to merely practice, though the rooms see little use.
B4 Floor:
• Canals
• Underground River
• Generators
This floor was created to harness the power of the underground river flowing beneath the mountain. This is beneath the mountain base now, and many generators have been put in place to harness the swift rivers energy, to power the mansion above. Access to this floor is restricted to the maintenance workers and Vincent alone, and can only be accessed from the first floor.
