It's not really a rant but I feel the power of temptation. I just signed up on a half.com account to purchase my school books. Anyways... I'm so tempted to buy a bunch of things on ebay because I have my mom's credit card number stored. It's so hard to not bid. -paces back and forth and signs out- |

Being naughty isn't bad, it just generally leads to some form of incarceration. Although, if you have the physique of a ferret and you don't have the wit of a twit, then you might be in with a chance of legging quickly away from your mother... but you can't run forever, because no one escapes Outland Revenue!

Why not just ask the parent when she's sleepy/drunk/otherwise engaged so she'll say yes and you don't get the blame later? Not that I do that at all... *has not memorised step-father's card details to do any transactions quickly before he changes his mind... no...*

Very good idea(s) but I would feel pretty bad since my mother's already paying for my school cost, school books, and transportation fare. So I shall think very hard before ordering a book series online. To quote, "smeg!" just for the hell of it. |

I definitely know the feeling here. I'm sitting there staring at the Barnes and Nobles book site for my school thinking....I have her credit card and I want this, this, this, this, and...oh yes, this! I was very sorely tempted this year as I only had to buy one book that was $14....very friggen tempted. Especially so when she said, "Is that all? Doesn't it usually cost a few hundred?", to which I replied, "Not this semester, re-using books....but if you'd buy me a dayplanner I'd appreciate it...and if you want to spend hundreds, just give me a few minutes." and she replied, yes good old granny replied, "Hell no, you can have the planner but nothing else, what was the link again? Add you dayplanner in there."
Gotta love rich granny's. =)
