Worst birthday ever and it's only been 3 hours.
Turn nineteen today, and very sweetly of them, my cousin and aunt popped in to say happy birthday. They live a long-ish way away, so they did so on their way back from somewhere else, so it was at about 11pm they came. All was nice for a while.
However, my aunt (mum's sister) and my mother have... issues at the moment. My aunt is pretty much clinically insane (she thinks military intelligence and the masons are after her... don't ask) but she doesn't think she is and she argued with my mum a few weeks back and called her insane and other things. Basically, they are very upset at each other.
But she came round with my poor cousin, who is lovely and hates arguments, and they got into a fight at about 11.30pm. So my aunt goes off in her car for a bit and my cousin tries to sort things out. It's still fine, if a bit tense, but fine.
Then she comes back, just after midnight, and my cousin tries to get them to calm down and apologise and it all goes pear-shaped.
Now the thing is, much though I love debates and so on, I cannot stand proper arguments, I hate rows. And they were shouting at each other some and just generally being gits and, well, shouting freaks me so I ended up crying. I hate crying anyway, but it's probably the worst way ever to start a birthday, and I'm just annoyed because they were being so silly!
