Have you ever seen any old posts you made? I got a mass email from a site I joined more than three years ago going to re-make it. I checked my old posts and as I was reading them my jaw dropped. They were the stupidest things ever. I was thinking that they weren’t my posts or someone cracked my account and made them. They were that stupid! Has it ever happened to you?

Mine were's altogether bad; I'd say back in the day I was more lazy. But in terms of writing style, yeah it's shifted; I used to be a lot more descriptive about the scene itself rather than the inner workings of the character's noggin -- you used to be able to tell where everything was, how the room looked, how the characters dressed down to the fine details of their visible face and bodies... to the size of the engine of a truck someone was about to use to smash the entire side of the building.

LOL. The form in question for me was a general type chatting forum.
I have seen old rp posts and I cringe. = D

I found my first piece of fan fiction the other day. The one thing it lacked was descriptive detail. It wasnt so bad as to make me cringe, but it amazed me how far I had come along since the fifth grade. What also amazed me was how some of my style was already forming in its earliest stages. But yeah, its always weird to look back at something like that and go "I usta think that was kick ass..>>"
