Hiro wandered into the club a few minutes later after making quite certain that Era had safely entered the building. He had been standing outside smoking a cigarette, something he hadn't done in days since meeting her. It was the first time he felt he needed one, but it didn't help his already weak lungs any, or make him feel any less on fire.

On his way into the club, Hiro took a drink from a hostess that had passed him and she immediately checked him out and gave him a seductive smile. He smiled back, then turned around and sighed heavily as he downed the glass of champagne all at once. Finally he spotted his Era in the distance and was extremely worried to see what she was wearing. Immediately he spoke to another hostess and asked for her manager. Anybody else would surely have been turned down, but Hiro was very good with his words and at pretending he wanted something else from the girl aside from just for her to do what he asked.

Hiro was led to a room in the rear or the building and asked to wait, and he stayed there in the hallway for a long time before finally the door opened and out stepped a rather prestigious yet sly looking man. Hiro immediately introduced himself politely and never raised his voice or too much concern to annoy the man. He was as well mannered could be, but the man didn't seem to particularly care for Era's personal health. Of course Hiro hadn't mentioned his lover wasn't human and the silver was harming her. It was anyone's guess if the man knew this or not, but Hiro had to resort to a sort of proposition. Or pretty much a bribe. In the end it only upset the manager more. Finally, things escalated and while Era was going about her shift as any other night, her boyfriend in the rear of the building was getting himself into something dangerous. Hiro never wanted to resort to violence, but somewhere along the lines he had lost his contacts and his blood red eyes showed the men what he really was. After a few minutes, Hiro felt as though he was losing his mind. Between the pain and his love for his Era, he could feel himself being taken over by his vampirism. If that were to happen, he could kill again. Hiro backed off and offered more money and told them he would purchase her identical jewelry that was something near fake silver so it wouldn't harm her. All in all, it took a ridiculous amount of bribe money but he wouldn't care or have Era quit her job just because he asked her to.

Hiro left the club after looking to see if Era was alright, which she looked okay, and he immediately went to his trusted jewelers a few blocks across town. As it turned out, there was a nearly identical set of the same items but weren't of such high class silver and wouldn't hurt Era's body. Hiro bought them all and returned to the club once more, catching his breath as he did so. After talking to the manager once more, this time their talk was less violent, he found Era in the crowd and put his arms around her lovingly and kissed her on the neck.

"I love you." Hiro told her while he undid her choker and bracelets. "Its alright dear." The vampire carefully put her new jewelry around her neck and wrists before she could even say anything and he smiled. Though it also hurt him nearly as much to be handling pure silver, he didn't let it get to him. But he had forgotten about his eyes now being red again and the bit of blood on the corner of his lips.

Feeling arms suddenly around her she knew it was Hiro and laughed slightly "I love you too" she said back, leaning agianst him gently she frowned slightly as he took her jewelery off and put identical jewelery on her. Turning in his arms Era's smile slipped, raising a hand she wiped the bit of blood off the corner of his mouth and looked at his eyes "Hiro...please tell me you didn't hurt my boss to get him to agree to letting me wear this" she said softly touching the choker that was now on her neck as she spoke.

Taking the bangles and the choker off of him, she grabbed one of his hands with her free hand and started walking towards the staff back room. She need to put the silver away otherwise it would look a little odd with there being jewelery on her and in her hand reaching the staff room she let go of his hand as she walked over to a counter and put the jewelery down. Moving back up to him she looked Hiro over just to make sure no-one had taken a swing at him before talking "Please tell me his still in his office and not harmed" she said, she didn't know why she even cared for her boss he was rude and disgusting towards the girls that worked for him.

Hiro frowned as Era did for a brief moment when she looked him over after he put the new jewelry on her. Following her to the dressing rooms, Hiro seemed to fall behind just a little out of the ordinary. When she wasn't looking he put a hand to his side in pain, but immediately stopped that when she turned back to him and came out of the dressing room.

"No, silly, he's quite alright..." Hiro reassured her, secretly wondering why she would care about such a man. He was well groomed for the most part but Hiro could tell how he treated women. He knew how the man barely cared for his female employees. It was evident enough when his bouncers had been called upon to teach the vampire a lesson. Being already weakened, Hiro had somewhat lost but not without convincing the boss to take his bribe offer of ten thousand dollars cash. Hiro just called his bank and had his personal teller make a visit to the club carrying a suitcase that was handcuffed to his wrist for safety.

While the man entertained the manager with the promised cash, Hiro stood with his Era elsewhere by the dressing room. The vampire couldn't deny the pain in his side any longer, it made him bite his lip and lean a bit in his stance. Hiro had reassured Era that her boss was alright, but never said anything about himself. Unbeknownst to Era, he was now suffering from a knife wound to the side that had since opened up again after he ran across down. It started to soak through the shirt but Hiro put his hand on his side hoping she wouldn't notice. The wound would heal soon enough.

Making a nod of her head she let out a breath, before she could ask if he was ok she watched as Hiro leaned forwards. Breathing in she caught the smell of blood and she moved closer to him, "Hiro, what happened?" she asked. Placing her hand over his that was on his side she pulled his hand away and lifted up the shirt, crinkling her nose slightly she pulled the shirt off of Hiro being careful not to hurt him. Era was going to have words with her boss if he did this to Hiro.

Touching the area around the wound she knew it would heal soon but it still made her unhappy to see it, taking her hand away from wound she looked at Hiro if Era got to her boss he was going to be in a world of pain and then knowing her luck she would end up waking up in a hospital. But right then she didn't care.

Sighing when he realized Era had caught on to how he was feeling, Hiro was shaking a bit and was heaps nervous when she began lifting up his shirt. He stood in the hallway shirtless now and looked away when a few girls passed him by to go to the dressing room. They both gave him very approving looks and it made him feel awkward.

More importantly, Hiro put his arms around Era, holding her head against his bare chest. He had seen the angry look come into her eyes and as adorable as she was when she was mad, it scared him. He didn't want anything at all to ever happen to the girl, not after what he had done to her. It made him even more protective of his lover.

"Please... calm down bbydoll, I'm alright. Everything will be fine, its just a scratch really." Hiro couldn't help but grow nervous when Era was so close to him and he knew how she felt angry. "It wasn't you're boss's doing, anyhow. I just couldn't let you wear that silver anymore. You can't tell me it doesn't hurt... I know it does. I saw the pain in your eyes, no matter how bright your smile was when you were out on the floor..."

After he was done speaking, Hiro just leaned up against the wall and held his lover close, keeping her away from work, away from the people, away from everything dangerous and most of all he was keeping her away from her manager in case she grew too angry with him. He had seen her lose herself to her wolf side once already, and it didn't matter how she hurt him but she didn't want her to kill anyone else. Hiro wouldn't let go of Era no matter what unless she vented first and calmed down. It felt wonderful to be with her again. In fact, Hiro soon realized he had even called her bbydoll again. Sighing, he knew he just couldn't hide his feelings from her anyways. He just couldn't hide anything from her. Even if he was excellent at convincing everyone else he was most happy inside and out, Era always knew how he really felt. She could read him like a book. Hiro would do his best to get over what he had done to Era, if it meant she could believe they were a little more even now. The vampire hated to concept of returning the favour of nearly killing their significant other, but he couldn't dwell on it anymore because it hurt to remember.

Letting Hiro hold onto her Era was still angry even though it wasn't boss that did that to Hiro, "It's more then a scratch Hiro" she mumebled to him. She had a feeling Hiro wasn't going to be letting her go anywhere soon, Era knew her around someone she hated and with something she could hurt someone with near her wouldn't end very well. Resting against him she breathed deeply, she doubted she could get out of Hiro's arms and make it to see her boss without him stopping her.

Looking up at Hiro she leaned up and kissed his lips gently before placing her head back agianst his chest as the two girls who had walked into the dressing room walked out again and shot Era evil looks, ignoring them she pressed up more against Hiro. "Let me guess I'm not allowed to go back out there until I've clamed down?" she asked with a small smile but was still angry.

"Its just a scratch, Era. Honest. I'll be alright. I promise." Hiro tried his best to reassure her, because she needed to understand it wasn't that big of a deal since vampires heal. Already the bleeding had stopped and the pain was there but it never bothered him much because compared to losing or hurting his precious Era, nothing was worse. Hiro took her hand gently and put it on his side. "See? Everything is just dandy." He told her as he just stood there holding her close. A few times he felt her move but it only made him hold her to him tighter. She wasn't about to go anywhere if he could help it. Even though his body was in horrible pain and he barely had any energy left to stand, Hiro wouldn't falter and let his Era go anyplace and get herself into trouble.

"Id honestly just want you to be in my arms forever. I wish time would stop for us to do nothing but love each other..." Hiro whispered to his lover as he flashed an irritated glance to the ladies who had left the dressing room and gave ugly looks to his precious little girl. "But since that won't be happening... yes, I'm afraid I'll have to keep you here until you've calmed down, lil Miss Era." Hiro spoke in a teasing tone, and kissed her forehead. "Relax bbydoll, ur manager wont touch you or me, or raise his voice ever again. I doubt he will even get his men after me again with as pleasantly richer as he ought to be now." It was then that he finally hinted at bribing her manager to let him has his way, but Hiro didn't care about money or anything. All he wanted was to protect his girl, and if someone was rude to her or making her wear silver they'd better believe they would hear from him.

"Bbydoll... I want you to know..." Hiro began to talk again to calm her down after a few minutes of silence and love that the two shared. "I can't help but feel horrible for what I've done to you... I know you may just think its okay, or that we're even now... but I can't look at you without remembering what I've done... I wish i could feel as though it were alright... but I can't forgive myself really... what good am I too you if your own boyfriend nearly ends your life? I'm supposed to protect you... I promised you I would... And I've gone back on that... I'm so sorry... please... understand how I feel? Its so horrible. The blank stare in your eyes, the cold feeling of your skin.... I hate just to remember it. I can't believe I did that to my Era." Hiro bit his lip and held back tears. "I love you. You're so precious to me. Please... please don't feel bad about any of these..." He took her hand and ran it gently along his chest so she can feel how his scars were still healing and his skin was returning back to normal. "I want to do this... for you... for us, bbydoll? I can't lie to you... its the most horrible pain I've ever felt... no matter how much it burns and I think it can't get any worse, it never stops... but nothing hurt me more than to see you laying there beneath me with no life left in your gorgeous eyes. Everything will be alright now." Hiro poured his heart out to Era, hoping she could somehow understand how he felt, and also how hard it was for him to tell her exactly how he felt inside and out without leaving out any bit of it or hiding anything from her anymore.

Hiro grew very quiet for a long while and just held onto Era tighter than before, and for the first time since their relationship began it almost seemed as though he needed her more than she needed him. He couldn't bear to lose her and wanted to keep her happy and safe always. There were tears in his eyes and his heart was pounding like crazy. ".... the next time we can make love when we're both well rested and feeling dandy. And I promise, you can take all the control you'd like, bbydoll. I love you so very much..." Hiro whispered in her ear. Strangely, all he could think about after saying that was a little worrying thought in the back of his mind that had resurfaced. Amidst their last session, he hadn't used protection or pulled out and though she loved every minute of it, Era hadn't mentioned if she was on the pill or not. But if anything were to come of it, Hiro would take care of Era and her child and love them both unconditionally. That wouldn't change at all.

Everytime she moved she felt Hiro's arms tighten around her each time, giving a small smile as Hiro kissed her forehead she let him place her hand on his side. Looking up at him she frowned slightly "You bribed him? He...doesn't bribe easily..." she said softly the last part of her sentence was more to herself them to Hiro, placing her head back against his chest she listened to his heart.

As he placed her hand on his chest letting her touch the scars she listened to him, she bit her bottom lip slightly. Looking up at him when he finnished talking she hooked her arms around his neck gently and kissed him "Hiro...I don't want you to go through that again I really don't, but I don't want you to have to walk around in the sun if it hurts so much...but I'm not going to stop you because I know you're trying to make it better and I love you for it" she said softly before kissing him again.

As Hiro spoke again she frowned slightly and bit her bottom lip again, Era had stopped using the pill months ago deciding she didn't need it anymore. Thinking about something she nibbled on her bottom lip before giving a small smile she wasn't 'on heat' as people called it, she wasn't craving sex just yet and knew she would have to tell Hiro when she started craving him more then anything. Making a nod of her head she kissed him again "I want you to take control again next time Hiro...I love you" she said softly.

As Era spoke back to him and ran her hand along his chest, Hiro felt a lot more at ease. He had always been so afraid to talk to her about how he truly felt, even though she could probably have guessed at it the entire time, but now it was like a certain weight was lifted off his shoulders.

"I know bbydoll... I know you don't want me to be hurt... and I love you so much for caring... I've never felt this kind of love before..." Hiro hugged her tight and didn't let her go even though she had calmed down quite a bit. "But I can bear the pain... my bbydoll only lives once. I won't put us at risk to ruin that." Smiling, Hiro let era out of his embrace as he placed his hands on her hips and looked her in her beautiful eyes. "We'll do whatever it is you may want next time." He kissed her passionately forever, his heart melting into it. But before she could return to work Hiro pulled her to him once more and kept her to himself. "I know bbydoll... you haven't been on the pill in a while... buts its alright. I'll take care of you. If anything comes of it, we can work it out. I promise I'd love your child as much as I love you now." It was a little bit awkward for Hiro to speak his mind on the matter, but he felt he needed to reassure her that no matter what he will always love her. A soft sigh escaped him and he didn't want to let her go but he had kept her for quite a while from her work. "Now you don't have to return to work tonight, bbydoll. It'll be alright with your manager. But I'll let you go if you'd like to." Hiro kissed her cheek. "Though I'd much prefer this, and at any rate my lil Era and I both need some rest, yes?"

As Hiro let her go Era almost fell over before he placed his hands on her hips, her body was trying to give out on her and she didn't want it too not just yet anyway. Kissing him back she gave a soft laugh as he pulled her to him again, "Well that's good to know if I do have a baby you wont leave me" she said softly still smiling, but tipped her head to the side slightly as she looked at him "And how did you know I haven't been on the pill for a while?" she asked raising an eyebrow slightly with a soft laugh.

In truth Era didn't think she really wanted to know how he knew, "Ok I'm not going to argue with the whole getting some rest. I'm falling asleep on my feet" she laughed softly before she gave a small yawn, she wanted nothing better then to go to sleep at Hiro's side.

Hiro noticed how Era was just about falling over in her heels, and not because they were hard to walk in at all. He kept his arms around her and smiled as another lavish girl passed them by to go into the dressing room. Hiro saw the look of jealousy in the girl's eyes before she just went away. It almost made him want to laugh.
"It was just a hunch, I suppose...?" Really, he didn't know how he knew Era hadn't been on the pill, sure she never mentioned it once but somehow he just had this feeling that convinced him she wasn't. Even still, never pulling out and having sex with Era to the fullest wasn't something he regretted. His lover's body had enjoyed to too much.
"I'd rather you get the most enjoyment, bbydoll. And it happens, let's not have it killed. I know you would be the best mommy in the world." Hiro kissed her neck and held her close. It wasn't that he was trying to get her pregnant, but he knew neither of their bodies would lie and try to enjoy protection. It was just that he wasn't worried. There was every bit of faith in him that made him certain Era would do well if she had to.

Hiro scooped up his Era in his arms as usual, just as he felt her knees shaking. If he hadn't they both knew she would probably have fallen in her heels. It was about that time her body just didn't want to function anymore and she couldn't force it too any longer. Having gotten through a fight with the guards and even bribed the manager generously, it wouldn't be a problem to take the girl home early that night. Without a care in the world, not even that he no longer had a shirt on, Hiro walked through the club and passed nearly every female worker there on his way out. They were all increasingly jealous.

Outside, the sun was just about to set and it was shining its last rays. For the most part, the city was already shrouded in shadows of the night, but a few beams of light reflected off buildings and caught his skin. Hiro almost stumbled at the pain, but somehow he didn't and he held firm with Era still in his arms. His body was on its last leg and didn't want to cooperate but Hiro forced it too. Biting his lip through the pain, he grew a bit desperate.

"Bbydoll... will you.... will you talk to me about something... anything really... just to get my mind off the pain... please..." This was one of few times he'd ever admitted to and told Era of his pains, but he wouldn't let her down even if she asked. Hiro held her tighter to him so she wouldn't wiggle out of his arms and try to stand on her weak body.

Smiling Era hooked her arms around him as she was once again pulled into his arms, glancing at a few girls she smirked at them before the left, bitting her bottom lip as Hiro asked her to distract him she frowned slightly. What could she talk about to distract him from the pain? "Um..." she started and bit down on her bottom lip again, "Well...this may not be the best subject but it's the only thing I thought of...well the reason I'm not with my ex is because he propsed to me. I mean before he came into my life I locked the doors all of the time and one day I came home from work to find the door unlocked and him and all of his things in my apartment".

Era glanced up at Hiro slightly before she continued talking "I was only with him for a week before he moved in, I picked up the habit of not locking doors with him around....and a week after that he propsed and I couldn't say yes because I knew he had been cheating on me and I didn't want to marry him....so he got angry and left taking pretty much everything with him and some cothes...and I don't even know why I'm even talking about this" Era said with a soft laugh, looking around she noticed that the sun had set a lot more and had turned the sky a very dull orange as it set.

With the sun soon setting completely Hiro began to hurry. He didn't mention this to Era but despite being a vampire he secretly adored sunsets and how romantic they were. In fact he rented out the suite he did because it had the best view in the building of sunsets, and with access to the roof it was even that much better.

"I'm glad... I'm heaps glad I don't have to worry about him no more.... I love you so very much. You... you don't have to worry..." Hiro began, biting his lip and cringing from the pain. For the first time in his life he felt almost okay enough to show his pain and admit it to the girl he loved. "I won't wait only a week to propose to you. Having you say you love me as much as I love you, maybe even more, is swell enough to keep me going forever. One day we can make it official if you like, but for the time being, it feel just the same without a ring anyhow." Hiro was willing to wait no matter how long it took. "I know... that this sort of commitment may scare you... I'm heaps proud of you for turning him down. Really, I am. I know marriage doesn't sit too well with my darling Era, but its alright. I'll wait forever to feel the right chance to ask you bbydoll. And I'm a vampire, we live far too long for our own good. I really do mean I will wait forever."

Hiro held her tight to him and continued to hurry towards his suite. He reached it swifter than he'd even realized, doing his best to make his body keep up with his love for Era. In under a minute, they were already walking out onto the roof. The view of the sunset was absolutely perfect. Even for a vampire, he could ignore the pain enough to share the brilliant romantic moment with Era. Without warning, Hiro pressed his lips against hers with the utmost passion. Reluctantly pulling away an eternity later, he kept her close and whispered in her ear. "If you become a mommy, what shall we name him or her?"

Giving a small smile as Hiro said he would wait for her forever, closing her eyes for a moment she opened them again when they were out on the roof smiling softly she gave a small laugh as Hiro kissed her. Placing a hand on his cheek gently as they kiss, as he pulled away she turned her head and looked at the sunset with a soft smile.

Bitting her bottom lip slightly Era thought for a moment "Maybe...Allie for a girl and...Christopher for a boy" she said softly with a smile, in truth she had never really thought about having kids for years. Pressing against Hiro gently she looked up at him and kissed his lips gently before she placed her head on his shoulder enjoying the last warmth of the sun.

Kissing Era back, the two enjoyed the beautiful sunset as it showed its final rays before disappearing over the horizon of buildings in the distance. The soothing feeling of the night sky over his skin made Hiro worry about Era, seeing as she hadn't felt on fire all afternoon and was still wearing a skimpy outfit from work. He held her closer to his body to keep her warm. After all, right then he was hotter to the touch than any human would ever be.

"I hope it'll be an Allie..." Hiro smiled and kissed her cheek. Truthfully he'd rather have a daughter than a son, praying it takes after her mother more than her father for obvious reasons. "I'd bet she'd look just like her mother..." A few strange thoughts were going through his head right then. IF she even became pregnant, would it end up being a vampire or a werewolf, either curse would be horrible for a child, but perhaps bearable with the right parents raising her. Hiro sighed. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves, dear... but, if it does happen, I'll only love you more. Don't worry." He took a deep breath before continuing. It wasn't the easiest thing to talk about for him. "If our child... ever takes after me... I promise you Era... I'll take care of her... We'll bring her up right and proper. And if she has to feed one day... I'm here for that. I won't let her make the same mistakes we've made... and feel as horrible for them as we do. Nobody else ever needs to experience that."

Hiro brought Era into the warmer hotel and after laying her down in the lounge room on the most comfortable couch ever, he went to draw them a hot bath. Upon returning he collapsed beside her on the couch, completely withdrawn of energy.

"You know.... Mother always told me... to find a proper girl..... She'd like you heaps.."
