Snow drifted down to blanket the small village, no more than four inches, but enough to bring a chill air to the people. The moon was overhead with fires blazing to light their villagers way, and to stave off the worst of the wintry air. The people had gathered tonight to listen to one young man as he brought grim tidings.
"War is upon us. As we speak, Vincent Valtieri who aided our clan long ago prepares for battle against a group of pureblood vampires who seek to rule and enslave us all." the youth starts.
His name was Leon Belmont, head hunter of the legendary Belmont Clan, scourge of the vampires. He stood proud and tall amidst his people, brown hair elegantly dishevelled and brilliant green eyes showing wisdom and experience far past his age. He was dressed in his usual attire of black jacket, gloves, pants and boots, with a white tee, silver lions head necklace and dual leather belts that formed an X at his waist.
At his hip rode his gunblade Lionheart, a silver blade that tears through flesh like paper, and the heirloom whip vampire killer. He addresses his clan, urging them into battle to fight their age old enemy again, this time calling on the entire clan.
"It is our duty and has always been our way to hunt and slay vampires, and now our clan can rise once more, to teach them why we should be feared, and to ensure that we shall never be forgotten and ever feared by our foes!" he exclaims, the crowd cheering in agreeance. It was time, and they were ready.

"Oh how annnoying. They think they can win."
A female mumbled as she leaned against a nearby tree. She had been listening to this human's speech and it really annoyed the hell out of her. They thought they could win this battle. Ha! They were wrong. The snow was falling and the world looked peaceful. The white fluff coating the ground was so pure and clean. Too bad it was about to be soiled with the blood of these humans. Amoura had told her not to leave until they were all dead. She had also said that they were the main cause for her sister's death.
"Ester."
The words were quiet but filled with so much emotion. The tree beneath her hand froze solid and with a swift motion from her hand the tree cracked into thousands of little shards that rained down on her. A snarl came from the female that seemed to tear across the quiet snowy plain and many of the humans turned to see its source. Black and blue hair swirled around her in the sudden frozen wind that seemed to rip through the village. The female lifted her head and stared straight at the villagers with frozen blue eyes.
"Why hello there villagers. I hope you don't mind a little Frost Bite."
The female emphasized the last two words as another bitter wind blew through the town freezing everything and putting out their fires. With the movements of a preadator the female stalked into the village standing a good ways away from the group of humans, many of who, were now popcicles never to move again. To their credit they didn't run screaming away from her as she stood in their village but she didn't care about the others. She had only one target in mind and she was staring right at him.
"Leon Belmont. I am here to fucking wipe you off the face of this earth."
The female spat the words at him as there was another gust of freezing wind. Ice began coating the ground from where she stood and spread across the snow like an oil spill. Now the people grew scared. She could hear the whispers of what she could be. They thought she was a demon. How funny. She was only a vampire with the ability to control ice. Nothing close to a demon but she wouldn't be the one to tell them she's not a demon. Let them fear her.

Leon hears the whispers of what she could be, as do some of the older and more experienced hunters, and they all share a laugh. "Calm down, just a vampire. A demon would be smarter in their approach, and vampires are the only ones to control elements other than fire at this time." Leon says to the rumor mongers, stepping down from his raised position, moving through the crowds towards the vampire.
More whispers started, respect for the youngest member of the clan who strode forth courageously to answer the challenge of the creature of the night. He embodied all that the clan valued, and watching him march forth reminded them of their proud heritage, and they no longer feared the vampire, instead watched with interest.
She wouldn't be able to slay more now that they knew her hidden power, but they wouldn't interfere for Leon either. This was his chance to prove himself worthy of leading them. He draws Vampire Killer, leaving it coiled in his hand, Lionheart in his other. "I accept the challenge vampire, I have no desire to slay someone who seems misguided, for your great fury is misplaced, so I offer you the chance to walk freely." he says in a strong voice, murmurs rising in the crowd, not all agreed with his views.

The female stopped and scanned the village. Their cocky grins only fueled her anger. So they knew she was just a vampire big deal. She wasn't just a vampire and the faster they realized that the better.
"Misguided? You think I'm misguided. Ha! I'll show you misguided!."
Her anger flared and the temperature fell well below zero. Out of the corner of her eyes the female saw a few of the humans began shivering. Never one for a crowd the female pulled the moisture of the air and began freezing it. Every breath that the humans took was their last. Soon members of his clan began dropping like flies. They may be hunters but she knew for a fact that they had never dealt with anything like this before.
"The only one who is misguided would be your clan mates. I will wipe everyone of them off the planet first and then come after you little hunter. Don't like you're ego get to large now."
The words were cold and sharp. Enough moisture had collected on her hands forming two long ice blades and then finally she moved. Pushing herself at inhuman speeds she darted amoung his clan mates slicing and dicing as she made her way to him. All of the pulled their weapons on her and were now firing but she dodged and darted between the villagers taking them out and only earning a couple scratches from the bullets. Blood coated her skin and the once light blue blades on her hands were now coated with the scarlet liquid. Screams filled the air followed by the sound of gun fire. It only took her moments to clear out the little street. Her gaze fell upon Leon with a wicked grin.
"Come on boy. Let's dance."
The words carried across the bitter breeze that danced down the street. Let death fill his soul. Let him know what it means to lose someone close to him. He killed her sister and he would pay for that mistake. The female pushed off the ground and launched herself at Leon bringing the ice blade down towards his neck and the other one towards his legs. -The clan doesn't use guns, nothing modern-
Leon watches as she slays the less able members, barely scratching their numbers as the rest predicted and nimbly evaded her assault, as she was focused solely on Leon and not to ensuring a kill. To her crazed mind, their non agression would equate the same.
"You don't affect madam, these people treated me as a slave, let my father bring me to death day in and day out, and leaving me to fend for myself. I know your tactic, and it won't work. I've never grown close to anyone, in the end, your alone with just yourself to rely on." he says, going into a twisting sideways leap, one that would bring his heel then blade in contact with her jaw and evading the blows at the same time.
As he touches down, Vampire Killer lashes out to ensnare her ankles, Lionheart going for a thrust that if she fell, would grow through her stomach and out her back. Non fatal, just incredibly painful, he never killed females, he could never bring himself to. Always thoughts of his mother would come to mind, and his own thrice cursed chivalry.

Rage filled the female as he spoke to her. She'd just barely missed his first attack but his second brought her to the ground. She had no time to dodge his sword so she took it lashing out with her own two blades. The first went straight to his thigh and the second was aimed right at his shoulder. The attacks were simultanious with his blow to her stomach. After she attacked the female pulled away from him and jumped back. Blood dripping from the wound at her stomach and her face twisted in a grimance.
"The only reason I'm alone is because you killed my sister! It's your fault she's dead! I promised her I'd kill everyone that harmed her and it seems I've missed one."
The words poured from her followed by a snarl of rage as she threw her ice blade at him. Her wound was healing slowly but her body had covered it in ice so it would be protected. Frost coated her face and hair. If she wasn't careful she'd push herself too far and go into a coma again, but none of that mattered. She'd kill Leon even if it meant her death anything for her sister. The image of her sister's twisted and hunger filled face flashed before her and she snarled again. A villager tried to sneak up from behind her but she moved behind him and sunk her fangs into his neck draining him within seconds.
"You say you are alone. That none of these people mean anything to you. Then why is it you stay with them? You have no reason to stay with them."
The female asked licking the blood off her lips as she walked towards him once again. She only had one blade but that's all she needed. Without hesitation the female launched herself at Leon and swung towards his head with her blade but then last minute she switched and tried to wrap her fingers around his throat in hopes of holding him still. Leon skips back, twisting into a spin to avoid the fatal blows. Instead, the leave long and semi deep gashes along the back of his leg and chest, crimson spilling out to coat his pants and shirt. He flicks the whip at her face to throw her off, before diving into a side roll in suprise as she rushed him.
He brings Lionheart uo in a sweeping arc that would rest the point beneath her jaw, ready to plunge through her brain if she so much as twitched, no longer desiring to fight her. "You're wrong, I've never killed a woman in my life, and I never will." he says, practically telling her that she would only end this by killing him or walking away.
"Now, please stop. I've no desire to kill you, nor could I bring myself to if I wished. If you truly wish to know who killed your sister, speak with Vincent Valtieri, a vampire with unparalelled skills in tracking, and he'll gladly help you. I shall as well, I bear you no ill will." he says softly, words sincere. "And to answer your question, this is my first time back in five years. They are still my clan, and we need their help against the Blood Dynasty. But if you join us, and they attack you, I'll kill them myself." he promises, holding his blade steady as he removed it slowly from her throat. "Would your true enemy show such mercy and compassion? Or would they have taken that killing blow?" he asks, wanting to drive his point home.

Mercy? He wanted to show her mercy? What a fool. He can speak all the lies he wanted but she knew that he had killed her sister. She stood unmoving staring straight into his eyes. The roaring wind had stopped but the cold remained. Now that she was unmoving the effects of her power hit her hard but she remained standing as the ice melted off her skin.
"Join with you? Why would I join with a murderer? Amoura told me all about you. She also told me the more you denied your involvement with my sister's death the more you were at fault."
A sneer spread across her face as she batted his sword away from her neck. He wouldn't kill her. Why that thought put her at ease she did not know. Vincent? He wanted to call in Vincent to explain things to her. Her hatred ran deep and there was nothin that jackass of a vampire could do about it.
"Call in Vincent see if I care. Nothing will change the fact that you were involved with my sister's death. The humans will pay for what they did to us. Project Negate was big mistake and I will see to it that they know just how big a mistake they made. No one gets put through those kinds of tortures."
She spat the words turning around to face him. If he was smart he'd know about Project Negate. Hell it was plastered all over the news for years after she'd killed everyone. Her eyes settled upon Leon. Maybe he had nothing to do with it. He would have been too young. Dammit he wasn't involved. Not at all.
"God damn it Amoura. Why would you make me kill an innocent kid?"
The female growled glaring at nothing as the ice completly melted off her skin and the tempurature returned to normal. New anger flowed through her this time at the leader of the Blood Dynasty. She had been used. She had been fucking played like a pawn in some sick and twisted game. Fuck.
