What was Adelaide thinking about coming out tonight? In a dress no doubt? Well it wasn't exactly her fault. She been on her way home from having a drink with an older man. She was quite lucky because she hadn't reached the drinking age, and well the man had provided a fake ID and all for her to drink with him. The man seemed nice, but what she was going to do with him? He would probably just treat her as if she was a trophy, considering that's what most people saw her as sometimes. If they were of the supernatural world that was. Just a small young human, trying to find her way in life and to see these men coo over her like a child seemed silly to say the least. Where was the world coming to?
She didn't bother asking herself as she walked down the sidewalk in hope of not falling on her ass or freezing in these temperatures of New York. They were terrible and it didn't help much that she had a thin layer of tights on to keep her legs from freezing completely, but it didn't seem to work as she dodged most of the people walking around her. She couldn't see how the other women did it with high heels an no tights or anything in these cold temperatures. She was glad to have something to cover her small form. Otherwise she'd probably be in an apartment, where the temperature was steamy hot, to the point of making her sweat, but of course, those days were over when she was no longer a slave to a were-creature. She disliked those days and couldn't understand how people could do that. Especially since she had her own life, but not a very good one to say the least.
Her best luck was just getting home or the hopes of someone to be kind enough to think she was cute enough to take to their home. Not that she was truly bothered, but she wasn't a complete whore when it came to that. Men just happened to find her attractive compared to most women, who were either to large, or to skinny, or mouthy or whatever you wanted to describe. Adelaide, was well, quiet, small in size, very soft spoken, and someone who loved to run. Which usually meant she was easily paced against those out of shaped. But that didn't stop her from enjoying a night on the town. If you called it enjoyable. . .
