The dark of the trees of hiding the fading moon, was all Amethyst needed to guide herself through the park. Not that she didn't need the moon to see. It was just a bit helpful at times. Having been in New York for a month or so, Amethyst was kind of getting the hang of things around here, though she wasn't so sure about the cars out here. She wasn't used to them and she was never quite a fan of them really.
She liked finding her own enterainment else where rather than going to a club, listening to music, watching tv. All that sort of stuff she grew up living without. So why should the younger people go and live with it. Walking down the path seemed like an entire night already. It wasn't the fact that she was hungry, but because she was a bit bored of New York already and wanted a different place to explore or go back home where she could relax in her big library and read all the books she could fine on the shelves.
Books was one of the things that kept her occupied at times when she didn't have anything else to do with her spare time. Having walked down he path, she felt this odd sort of feeling float around her, like there was someone following her or at least someone staring at her.

Vincent yawns as he steps out of the club, deciding to take a walk for once, as opposed to just partying all night. It was a strange choice for him admittedly, but he was fine with it. He'd made it through centuries of living without all the noise and bustle of crowds, so it'd be a nice change. He rolls his shoulders as he starts walking, stretching out his limbs, cracking his knuckles as he goes, before popping his neck. It felt good to stretch out afterall, was his rationale, and he wasn't too worried about arthritis, or whatever fancy name the mortals were putting onto it today. He yawns again as he jogs across the street, his leather outfit making not even a whisper of noise, which is why he was like it, and it felt better than heavy plate mail.
He steps into the park entrance, revelling in the silence and peace that the nearly desolate park offered. It was nice to be alone for a change, though he did prefer the bustle of a small corwd, the entertainment it offered, and the potentially beautiful women around at the time. He lets his arms swing by his sides as he walks along, his black hair lightly falling to cover his brilliant crimson eyes, which themselves were sweeping across the surroundings. He sinks onto a bench after a few minutes of walking, reclining into the cold stone, though it didn't bother him in the least. His leather out fit only covered his upper chest, legs, and from his palms to his elbows, the rest of his skin was left bare, revealing his toned, muscular body beneath it. He tilts his head back, taking in the sounds of the night.
After a few minutes, the crunch of gravel reaches his sharp ears, and he lazily opens his eyes, turning them towards the new distraction, his interest flaring up immediately. Walking towards him was a woman of undeniable beauty! She hadn't noticed him yet it seemed, so he took the time to let his eyes rove approvingly over her form, taking in her appearance, and her slight mannerisms, anything to give himself some indication of the type of woman she was. Another affliction of his, woman chasing, his greatest weakness. He'd do almost anything a pretty lady asked of him, and it had got him a bit of trouble in the past. He shrugs as he reclines back into the bench, doubting she'd even recognize him. He was fairly famous in the underground circuits of musicians, as he never went big time, preffering just small shows at local places rather than any huge concert. Besides, she didn't seem the type to be interested in someone she had met in passing late at night, this is when the vampires lurked, after.

Amethyst turned her head to look behind her to see a group of men who looked very uncomfortable. At least in her opinion anyways. She would never look like that in her lifetime. But then again, this world was cruel and didn't last forever. Wearing a pair of blue jeans that hugged her thighs as she walked and a long sleeve shirt that plastered itself to her body, she didn't seem bothered to find that those men were following her. Silly Humans she called them.
"There she is. Get her. She'll freeze at the sight of these weapons. Someone stupid enough not to know what they are," One of the men said as they started to gain up against Amethyst. She didn't seem to be shocked or anything. She was playing it as if she didn't know what was going. Nor did she care what was going on. She could take care of herself. She had been since she was 21 and on her own without anybody to help her out. Anyone from her family anyways. Where ever the rest of the Stone family was, they would only think of her as being a runaway. Never knowing what happened to her. If she was killed or kidnapped, tortured to death or what. They would never know that she lurked around the world living in the same place she had been living since the 1870's. Something she had always joined living at. Not like anyone of her family would see the house the family built. Nor would they know who she was. Just a blur from the past.
Having heard footsteps come up behind her, she stopped and turned around. "Who the fuck are you?" She asked acting surprised. She could act as if nothing happened if she wanted to, but she didn't take it lightly when the man tried to swing at her and dodged it by ducking backwards just as he swung his arm. With such grace she moved away and ran at full speed trying to dislodge them away from. She didn't go very far before she jumped into a tree behind a man sitting on a bench acting like he wasn't checking her out. She had felt someone watching her and she could see out of the corner of her eye that he had been watching her.

Vincent yawns as he watches the men pursue her at a distance. Didn't humans have anything better to do with their time than chase women to potentially rape them? At least he'd buy them dinner first, and the other was optional of course. He rises to the full height of his six foot two frame, stretching out his muscular body, popping his neck, tilting it back to smile at the woman in the tree. "What a funny little bird." he says with a laugh, winking at her. "I'll take care of them, don't worry. And I hope you don't mind me watching you, your radiant beauty surpasses the sun itself." he says with a wink, turning to the mob before him.
"Hey hey, easy fellas, what's going on here?" he asks innocently, putting on a matching expression. "We're looking for a girl, perhaps she came by here? She's a..ah...friend, of ours, a little drunk, and we want to make sure she gets home alright." the leader of the group says, their weapons hidden away. Vincent cocks his head to the side, "Really? You don't seem to friendly to me." he says coldly, dropping the pretense of friendliness. The humans reacted immediately, sensing the sudden and vicious change in his aura. He hated males so much sometimes, and it just feels good to kill them, to rip them to shreds. And he had just the tools to do it too, he mused with glee.
His hands flash behind his back, to his lower back, wrapping around the hilts of his weapons, his own special design. He draws the dual 'gun'blades' out from their holsters, grinning viciously at the stares of confusion the men wore, their guards dropping pitifully. The weapons were a combination of a gun and blade each, the gun base to them being a desert eaglem custom for a longslide, tweaked in his own special way to give it more power and durability. From the bottom of the end of the barrel, a short curving blade protruded, fitting along his fore arms like tonfas would. His hands flash once more, the blades tearing out the throat of the nearest men, the bullets, specially made, for any encounter he might find, of holy water and silver, tearing through the rest of the closest men, and he spun once, delivering a vicious dual uppercut, both blades tearing the remaining two men in half.
He smirks as he spins the weapons, the blade slipping free of the silver blades with ease, leaving them shining in the moonlight, before sheathing them behind his back again. He turns and steps over to the tree, smiling up at the woman, holding out his hands, an offer to catch her, "Shall we be going, oh beautiful vampiress?" he asks with a smile, there was no other explanation for her ability to physically leap into a tree, and she didn't reek of animal, so he was confident his guess wasn't wrong. "I'm Vincent by the way, nice to meet you. The gunshots are sure to have attracted attention, and I wouldn't mind buying you something to eat, and we can get to know each other. It's the least you can do in repayment." he says with another smile and laugh.

Amethyst climbed out of the tree when she saw the men dead on the ground. "Something to eat? I already ate. And what would there be to eat anyways? You may play your games. I have other things to do. And yea those gunshots did just more than attract something. They attracted the rest of the men who were out looking for vampires to kill. And since you killed this group. Have fun fending off the rest." Amethyst said. She was joshing his pants alright. But of course the man didn't know it. He didn't even know her and she kept her lies to herself half the time.
Turning around away from the man known as Vincent she started to walk away at a slow pace. Maybe she was wondering if this Vincent character would follow her. It wouldn't matter to her. She was used to living alone for so many years. She was quite used to the fact that she lived in a spooky castle for more than 100 years as well. She sped up her pace a bit more to make it seem like she was in a hurry to leave. Of course she wasn't as she was quite enjoying her time in New York, even if she wanted to be back in Romania.

Vincent cocks his head, looking at her curiously. "Really? Well, I don't hear anything." he says with a laugh. "Perhaps they were scared away. Besides, hunters are more amusing than dangerous really, especially when you've had as much experience as I've had with them." he says with another laugh. When she starts moving away, he merely shrugs, half turning to leave himself, before shaking his head. What the hell was he thinking? Why in the hell would he let her go that easy!? He turns and quickly jogs back to her, grinning widely. "Hey now, that's not nice. A guy helps you and you just take off? I'm hurt." he says with a playful pout, putting on a hurt face, before smiling at her again.
"Well, if dinners not to your liking, perhaps a quiet café where we can gaze longingly into each others eyes over some coffee?" he asks with a smile, "Or we can skip the longing gazes part and just drink and talk. Whichever you prefer of course." he says with a laugh. "So lady vamp, care to share your name with me? It is only polite, after all, and you don't seem like the terribly rude type to me." he says with another smile and laugh. "C'mon, how bout it? You don't seem terribly busy, free enough to be having fun letting some hunters chase you up a tree." he says with another grin. "You could've taken them easy, very poor hunters they were." he says with a shrug, in an unusually good mood, having been able to kill more irritating men. It always made him feel better after all.

"Why are you so interested in me?" Amethyst asked, "If you want to know my name. Look in Romania's history and look for the Stone Family. And then look for the daughter who disappeared and no one knew what happened and died supposely of pnemonia. That's where your answer will be." She was kind of getting creeped out by this man. She didn't even know him and he already wanted to hang out with her. She wanted to get back to her hotel room before the sun came and get some rest before heading out again to go back home.
She had plenty of unfinished business back at home that she needed to take care of. And the longer she stay here in New York, the longer it was that business was being put back. "Its been nice to meet you. I've gotta run." She asked dashing of down the path. She wasn't running all that fast, but it was faster than a normal human that's for sure. Sure she could have hung out with the man, but why would she want to? She hardly knew him.

Vincent grins as she darts off, his mind already turning over which one she was. He'd been around long enough to follow lineages as a past time of sorts, and was able to identify her quickly. He thought she'd been dead. He darts after her, easily catching up and keeping stride, "Amethyst I believe, right? I thought you were dead, as most I suppose. And as you took off before allowing me to answer, I'm interested in you because that's how I am, I enjoy meeting new people, and you seem like a fun and potentially entertaining one. Not to mention great looking." he says with a wink of his crimson eye. "So, that makes you what? About...two hundred? Two and a half perhaps? I don't quite remember, been along time and my memory's a little hazy." he says with another smile.
"So, why the sudden urge to take off? Unfinished buisness elsewhere? Suns not due up for a few hours, the vampires are still free to play, with sport aplenty in this city. Sure I can't convince you to spare a few hours for a lonely vampire?" he asks with an innocent look at her, completely faking it of course. "On the run back to Romania? Nah, doubt it, you don't get along with your family, do you? Not that I'd blame you, family sucks sometimes." he says with a shrug, a casual air about him. He was interested in her from a purely social standpoint. She was a good looking chick, he was a little bored and lonely, and he wouldn't mind having some company. If she was willing, of course. He wasn't neccessarily looking to have sex, but a nice chat, perhaps a new friend wouldn't go unappreciated. "So, any chance I can convince you to spare some time to hang out?" he asks with a beaming smile, his face lit with his grin and amusement.

Amethyst looked at the man for a split second before taking off again this time at a fast stride not really caring if he followed or not. "The name's not Amethyst. Its Alina." Amethyst said lying of course, but how could he know the truth. For all she knew her mother could have been a vampire for that matter. She never knew the woman who died giving birth to her. Walking at a such a fast pace was never always easy, Amethyst managed to dodge a bunch of tree branches only to get whacked in the face with a few more than what she was expecting. She could have cared less about spending the rest of the night with a lonely vampire.
That vampire seemed familiar as if she had seen him before. He reminded her of someone she knew some many years ago when her sire was killed and she was off to defend for herself. Then it hit her. That vampire looked excatly like the one she had met in that one group she joined almost 200 hundred years ago. He looked like that vampire that went crazy and she stole his money to get away and head out to America where she ended up marring Jackson before the Civil War happened and he was later killed by the sun for killing a human who was highly respected in the town they used to live in. Walking over things tended to be something she had mastered, but while she was walking she didn't seem to notice the big rock in front of her as she kept her pace up only to trip and fall over it breaking her right ankle. "Great. Now I'll have to get help from him."Amethyst said sounding as if she didn't want any part of him at all.

Vincent easily catches up to her, shaking his head as he notices her unusual condition. "well now, that's what you get for being rude I suppose." he says with a half smile, leaning against a tree, crossing his arms. "Hmm...what to do. I could be the chivalrous knight, as I was long ago, and offer to help you back to your room where you can heal." he says thoughtfully, watching her, "Or I can be the lecherous vampire, and take advantage of you while you're injured." he says with a darker look, a sadistic glee in his eye as he steps forward to her, before grinning broadly. "Just kidding. Too creepy, can't pull it off." he says with a shrug, reaching his hand down to her, not touching her, letting her decide whether she wanted his help or not. "Amethyst or Alina, it doesn't matter I suppose. Want my help? I'm really not that bad of a guy." he says with a shrug.
He smiles at her, "If you accept my help, I'll get you anywhere you want, and leave you alone if you like, no hard feelings, no more chasing you, promise. And if you don't want my help, well...have fun laying there with a broken ankle then." he says with a soft smile, appearing as the friendly person he really was. "C'mon, I won't hurt you, and I promise I'll leave you alone if that's what you want. Give me a chance? I helped you once, though you didn't really need it, how about now when you do?" he asks with another smile, hoping she'd accept. "I don't really get the chance to meet many people, and I've only met...three, other than you so far." he says with a shrug, "Two vampires, one human. I don't get the chance to make many friends, so I do suppose I come on a little strong, sorry bout that." he says with an apologetic smile. "So, what do you say? Give me another chance?" he asks with a hopeful smile.

Amethyst looked at him kind of weird. She started to back away from him scared. She thought she knew him from when she was first turned. The group of other vampires she lived with. The vampire that had gone crazy on her, the man she once loved. The memories all came back and this man seemed like the kind of man who wanted to hurt her. She would remember that when the day she was staked by a hunter, if that day will ever come. But maybe it was a different man. He had looked so much like William. Something she didn't want to remember anymore. She wondered if the man was dead by now or not.
Could she truly trust this man after he kept following her around ever since he killed those hunters? Really she could take care of herself and she could have lost the hunters also, but really what did this man want with her? Her money, her home, or herself? " Why are you so interested in me? Its very creepy considering you know who I am without me even telling you my name besides the fact of my lineage and everything else. Don't people get scared of you? I mean come on you follow them around and scare the living shit out of them until they can't handle it anymore than I can right now."

He sighs as he curls his finges into a fist, bringing it back to his side and shrugging. "Well, I'm kinda old, I get around, follow lineages, and I was interested in your country of origin for awhile. I kept tabs on vampire families that seemed as if they'd be powerful or threatening, and when one daughter suddenly dissappears, it is a little suspicious. And I generally don't follow people around, you jst come off as a good person, someone fun to be around, and I didn't want to let you slip away so quickly." he says with a shrug, sitting down on the ground beside her, his crimson eyes still watching her. He turns his head to the side, sighing again. "Well, if you want, I'll leave you alone then, I thought I'd offer my help after you fell and hurt yourself, but I see I'm unwanted." he says with a shrug, rising gracefully to his feet.
He stretches, tapping his feet on the ground a few times. He starts walking away from her slowly, hands swinging by his sides, staring at the moon as he went. "I guess I'll see you around then. Or rather, I won't. Hope your ankle gets healed." he says with a shrug. "If you ever get bored though, go ahead and look me up, I'm usually playing underground shows, mostly to small crowds, so good luck, but I'm sure given a chance you could. Mostly rock stuff if you're interested." he says with another shrug, about ten feet away now. She wasn't interested in him apparently, or accepting his sincere offer of help. She might think he was some crazy physcho that just wanted to sleep with her, but he was just looking to make friends, a fact lost on most people. Despite appearances, he was quite lonely as a vampire, and only wanted some true friends to spend time with, and enjoy himself as a vampire, rather than a human.
